First off, in California, we previewed both the governor's race and the LA Mayor's race. First in the Governor's race, as predicted, Steve Hilton was able to enter the top two, making it a showdown between Steve Hilton and Javier Becerra for the top spot in the California Governor's race. Now, again, this is going to lean fairly heavily towards a Democrat because California is such a partisan state. But I would note again, Javier Becerra cannot get a single endorsement from anyone that he served in the Biden administration with. He's been an absolute embarrassment and he probably is going to continue on the terrible record of Gavin Newsom in destroying what was once a great state. But moving to the LA mayor's race,

there's Karen Bass, the incumbent running at 38%. And there is Spencer Pratt running at 28%. Right now that is an eight point advantage or a 25,000 vote advantage over Nithya Rahman.

A huge short term victory for Spencer Pratt as he was able to get into the top two to make it to a runoff. Now, again, this is still a long shot. Los Angeles is one of the most progressive cities in the country and as we've seen throughout the last 10, 15, 20 years, they don't really hold anyone accountable for anything if you're a Democrat. And so this is still Karen Bass is to win. But it does highlight the fact that there's real energy on the ground for change and saying we deserve better than having drug addicted homeless people on the street everywhere while paying the highest taxes in the country and seeing failure from your elected officials at every level. As we continue to follow the will they or won't they on President Trump and a deal with Iran. President Trump posted this yesterday on Truth Social. As I told Iran, it's time one way or another for you to make a deal. You should have been doing this for 47 years and it cannot be allowed to go on any longer. Meanwhile, Secretary of State Marco Rubio was on Capitol Hill to answer questions about Iran and every other issue facing the State Department.

Now, you might remember when Secretary Rubio was on Capitol Hill just a couple months ago, Democrats came in with with a lot of attack lines and Secretary Rubio is incredibly nimble and made them all look pretty bad. So for the most part, Democrats played much more nicely with Rubio, with the exception of Nevada Senator Jackie Rosen, who came in with a bit of a half baked attack.

good for Secretary Rubio because far too many elected officials use these hearings to try and make speeches and cute clipped videos for TikTok so that they can get more retweets while hoping that their followers don't see the full actual exchange. So shame on Jackie Rosen for coming in with a half baked attack. But good for Marco for pushing back and not letting her create a viral moment out of this. He actually probably had more of a viral moment from this than she did. Yesterday, Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner was in Washington, D.C. to meet with a number of Democrat senators as he faces more and more growing and more and more terrible scandals. Does that prove their credibility in attacking Paxton?

I love to see the growing impatience with Chuck Schumer. Any other subject? No, Chuck, there's probably not going to be any other subjects for a while because you are standing with one of the worst candidates we've seen in recent history. I also love how Adam Schiff, who President Trump has lovingly referred to as pencil neck, who you have to fight with a bat to keep away from microphones. Avoiding questions on this one. So what? Also, Brooks is saying there is, there's no line that Platner could cross that would make her not vote for him because he's a Democrat. Now, she may regret that later this week when we learn even more about just how terrible Graham Platner is, both as a person and as a candidate for Senate. But I also want to highlight this clip from Fox News. This is Faz Shakir, advisor to Bernie Sanders, who's been an online defender of Platner, who basically got beat into a corner by another Democrat strategist on the stupidity of continuing to stand with Nazi tattoo Graham Platner. Thank you. You got 15 seconds. Brother in law marry a Jewish person.

He was at a Jewish wedding. He, he can't possibly be anti Semitic because his brother in law married a Jewish woman and he once attended a Jewish wedding. This is one of Platner's top defenders making the best possible case. You know that thing that sometimes people say when they're accused of being racist and they say, how can I be racist? I have black friends. This is, my brother in law is married to a Jewish woman. Like three degrees of separation from that best possible defense. It's not going well because there is no defense of Nazi tattoo Graham Platner. But another person who really got stuck on this issue is Florida Senate candidate Alexander Vindman.

Look at the discomfort on Alexander Vindman's face. Another guy who's been so thirsty for media for the last 10 years, but looks incredibly uncomfortable when confronted with Graham Platner and his Nazi tattoo. But Alexander Vindman has also been incredibly vocal about calling Republicans Nazis in the past. MAGA is today who the Nazi were before they seized power. There is no better historical comparison to MAGA than the Nazi of the early 1930s. So Mr. Vindman is not good at grammar or having clear eyes about who actually is a Nazi. And that discomfort there is very palpable. One thing that tells me this is a little bit different for Democrats is the take from the view.

He's also made racist remarks against African Americans. So he's a cheater. He's an anti Semite because the fact that he had that tattoo for 20 years and didn't know what it was is a lie. So he's a liar, a racist and anti Semite.

Wow. We make a lot of fun of the view because 99% of the time what they're saying is insane conspiracy theory garbage. But kudos to Sunny Huston for having clear eyes on this Broken clock is right twice a day, I guess. Last thing I want to highlight here, again, highlighting the fact that this is a little bit different because you do see a lot of Democrats saying, look, there's still polls saying he's going to win. Look, this isn't actually making a dent with anybody. Harry Anton has a different case.

You go back, you know, May 22, was that about 10 days ago, Democrats had a 70% chance. That's essentially platinum had a 70% chance of winning the general election. Now that number has fallen. It's fallen rather significantly. Look, he is still the favorite according to the prediction markets, a 59% chance. But you're basically going from about a 7 in 10 shot to about a 6 in 10 shot. This is now a race that if you were projecting it out, I would say would be well within the margin of error, I dare say too close to call.

Now what Harry's talking about there is really important. Polls have been absolutely terrible in trying to track Susan Collins. I had the opportunity to work on her last Senate campaign in 2020 when I was at the National Republican Senatorial Committee. Polls, including on election day, still had Susan Collins losing that race to Sarah Gideon, who was a much better candidate than Graham Platner. She was the former speaker of the main house. She ran an incredibly clean campaign and had about 130 to 150 million dollars in, in Chuck Schumer's money in support backing her attacking Susan Collins. Susan Collins won by nine. So whenever anyone tells me Susan Collins is doomed, I point out to them the fact that polls have never gotten this state right. And this is different. Maine is an independent minded state. The partisanship, the Democrats are falling back on that. Graham Platner is good enough because he's a Democrat and they have to beat Susan Collins. Doesn't stand up when you've got the most independent minded senator in modern history in Susan Collins and the most flawed, flawed, possibly worst on paper candidate we've seen in modern history in Graham Platner. A few weeks ago when President Trump went to China, we spent a lot of time talking about all the different ways that China is acting as an adversary to the United States, all the different ways they spy on us, all the different ways they try and manipulate our politics through giving money to left wing dark money groups that attack American energy attack data centers, things like that. Another key part of this is the way that they are using different tools to spy on Americans. This from Center Square National Security Group urges Congress to investigate airwallock's ties to the ccp. Airwallex is a company that provides payment services to companies. Michael Lucci of the group State Armor, who's one of the top China experts in the country and his group State Armor has done a phenomenal job around the country of helping promote legislation and different tools for states to get rid of Chinese influence within states and they are warning about this. I write to a respectfully urge Congress to open a formal investigation into Air Wallix, a global payments company that's become deeply embedded in the US Financial technology ecosystem while reportedly maintaining substantial ownership, operational and workforce ties to the People's Republic of China. Lucci warns that with China having these deep ties, there's a concern that the Chinese Communist Party could have access to American companies financial and payments information, which is a massive vulnerability. Now we already know that through TikTok and so many other tools that China has successfully sort of shoved into the United States, the CCP is trying to spy on Americans in any way that they can. So as Lucci's warning here, Tom Cotton, a number of other elected officials have raised concerns about this in the past. We'll see where this one goes. It's time for another Waste Wednesday segment. You'll remember a couple weeks ago we talked about the incredibly fraudulent tax exempt status of hospital system where you've got so many hospitals around the country that are taking billions of dollars on the promise they will help poor patients while actually using that funding to do things like pay out million dollar executive salaries and in some cases fund NBA training facilities, things that don't actually help patients at all. Today we're gonna talk about Medi, California's Medicaid system and a massive fraud problem that CBS Morning uncovered.

Now this is one person who submitted claims for $270 million worth of our tax dollars. And he's used it, as was described there, for all sorts of goods. But another place that a lot of this money ends up is foreign countries.

Our tax dollars are being taken through these fraudulent schemes, making their way to transnational gangs in Russia, China, Romania, things like that. In Minnesota, their fraud scheme took our tax dollars and sent them to terrorist organizations in Somalia. And this is being protected by Democrats. Democrats have essentially laid across the train tracks to prevent anyone from holding fraudsters accountable and shining a light on this. For ex. In California, they have the Stop Nick Shirley act that we talked about that would prevent citizen journalists from tracking down these fraudulent businesses and holding them accountable and helping people better understand how much money is being blown on waste, fraud and abuse. And I would just close this with the note that Gavin Newsom is demanding Californians pay higher and higher taxes while he's doing everything possible to prevent anything from stopping the waste, fraud and abuse that's taking those tax dollars and blowing them on things that taxpayers actually aren't benefiting from. And that is why he's never going to be president. For you can't make it up segment today. I hate to do two days in a row of the same person, but this was just too important to miss. You may remember that in the Biden years, Jill Biden, first Lady of the United States, consistently insisted that people refer to her as Dr. Jill Biden. And there was a big scandal when someone wrote in the Wall Street Journal, is there a doctor in the White House? Not if you need an MD Joe Biden should think about dropping the honorific, which feels fraudulent, even comic. That started a firestorm with Dr. Joe Biden's defenders, attacking anyone who suggested that her credentials should not be held up the way that she has. Well, yesterday she went on the View and had this little snafu when talking about her husband Joe's medical condition.

Was there any part of you that went into protection mode of like, joe, you can't keep doing this. Like this is. They're taking so much from you. But the doctors told me he was fine. I'm not a doctor.
