With another crazy news week ahead, we wanted to do something a little bit different this Monday morning and give you quick previews of five stories we will be watching. First of all, the eastern miracle finding our stranded airmen behind enemy lines in Iran on Tuesday. We'll dive in deep to this, but it was a miraculous rescue and we're expecting to hear a lot more about it from President Trump today at 1pm and a briefing coming from the White House press briefing room. But he posted on Truth Social yesterday, an amazing show of bravery and talent by all. I will be having a news conference with the military at the Oval Office on Monday at 1pm God bless our great military warriors. With that, he extended his deadline for Iran to come to the table for a deal with the United States to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. With this discussion about Iran, the conversation about NATO and our relationship has gotten much more attention over the last several days. Many longtime NATO supporters are raising questions about just how valuable this relationship is, not because of NATO's unwillingness to engage militarily, but because of several NATO countries like France being unwilling to even allow us to use our airspace as we carry out attacks against an enemy that has them in the crosshairs with missiles that we now know can reach considerable amounts of Europe. We'll get into that much more later this week. Shakeup in President Trump's Cabinet. Attorney General Pam Bondi has been released from her role. Currently Todd Blanche, former deputy attorney general, is serving as the acting attorney general. And the conversation is heating up about who could be put in as the full time attorney general to replace Bondi over the next few weeks. There's also discussion about popular members of the department like Harmeet Dhillon being promoted and taking on new roles within the Department of Justice. A major success for NASA last week with the launching of Artemis, a triumph for America later This week we'll take a look at the rest of the world's space race and just how dominant America has been. We're going to look at some new polling that CNN highlighted about congressional Democrats numbers being completely terrible. Most Democrats, 55%, think their own party has the wrong priorities. Unlike 2006 and 2018, Democrat leaders have a negative net approval. And we're going to look at that and why that might be another major story from late last week. Act bl, the Democrat small dollar fundraising platform, was identified in a New York Times bombshell because Act Blue may have misled Congress on vetting foreign donations. Their own lawyers warned starting a civil war within the organization. We're gonna get into what that means and how it's impacting the midterms as Democrats are already struggling significantly to raise money. We're gonna talk a little bit about an article from Politico. Can Republicans fight against fraud help in midterms? We're gonna talk about how Republicans are making the case that cut and abuse is actually making things more affordable and making programs work better for people. At the same time, a major report from City Journal covers Gavin Newsom's empire of fraud. At the same time, as a number of major outlets are starting to look at how California policies are driving up costs both for Californians and for the rest of the country, 60 Minutes did a deep dive into California high speed rail and the fact that it is costing more and more while accomplishing it less and less. We're gonna get into that on Tuesday. We're also gonna talk about a major scandal around Eric Swalwell's expense filings. For example, the fact that he paid his nanny through his campaign funds while also paying his wife to raise their children. Lots of major red flags in that for the current Democrat frontrunner in the California primary. That's just a look at some of the stories that we're gonna cover this week. There's so much more. There's a new story about Tim Waltz, a lot of attention on the first partner, Jennifer Siebel Newsom. And so things we're looking forward to covering this week on 10 Minute Drill. We will see you on Tuesday.
