President Trump addresses the nation to calm nerves about Iran. We have another terrible, grisly murder in Virginia and what it might mean for the entire country. And California gubernatorial candidate Eric Swalwell is caught in a bit of a hypocrisy mess. All of that and so much more today on 10 Minute Drill. Everybody get up. Get up.

The story of America is the story of an adventure.
A
I can hear you. The rest of the world hears you. We are a nation under God, and I believe God intended for us to be free. Last night, President Trump addressed the nation on Iran.
B
Never in the history of warfare has an enemy suffered such clear and devastating large scale losses in a matter of weeks. Our enemies are losing in America, as it has been for five years under my presidency, is winning and now winning bigger than ever before.
A
Earlier yesterday, he spoke about the ongoing discussions between the new leadership in Iran and a potential ceasefire. Iran's new regime president, much less radicalized and far more intelligent than his predecessors, has just asked the United States of America for a cease fire. We will consider when Hormuz Strait is open, free and clear. Until then, we are blasting Iran into oblivion, or as they say, back to the stone Ages. Earlier in the day, Secretary of State Marco Rubio made his case in a very short video on X. Iran wants
C
to have nuclear weapons. Of that there is zero doubt if what they truly wanted, which is what they claim, is nuclear energy. Well, they could have nuclear energy like all the other countries in the world have it, and that is you import the fuel and you build reactors above ground.
A
The case that Rubio wanted to make, quite simply, was helping people understand how close Iran actually could be to developing a nuclear weapon. And the fact that so much of that is hidden intentionally. And some of the actions of past presidents like President Obama have actually made it easier for Iran to hide their progress in developing nuclear weapons, which is an existential threat to the entire world. One of the outstanding issues that we're watching closely is the rest of the world's participation in this confrontation with Iran. President Trump has gotten more and more pointed about NATO, particularly as NATO countries like France have tried to restrict the United States from using their airspace as they've tried to take out the Iranian totalitarian regime. We'll watch this very closely. Yesterday, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments on one of the most controversial cases. They're expected to consider this term, the case of birthright citizenship. Here is U.S. solicitor General John Sauer making the case on behalf of the Trump administration.
D
Based on Chinese media reports, there are 500500 birth tourism companies in the People's Republic of China whose business is to bring people here to give birth in return to that nation.
A
President Trump has long described what he sees as problems with birthright citizenship. Birthright citizenship has to do with the babies of slaves, not Chinese billionaires who have 56 kids, all of whom become American citizens. One of the many great scams of our time. Now, what President Trump's referring to there is something that we've discussed here on 10 minute drill reports from places like the Wall Street Journal and others about birth tourism and the fact that, for example, a number of Chinese billionaires have hired armies of surrogate mothers to have dozens of children here in the United States who through our laws are granted citizenship and have power then to be citizens, essentially run for office, run businesses and have all the perks of U.S. u.S. Citizenship. Wall Street Journal the Chinese billionaires having dozens of US Born babies via surrogate. So one of the arguments that the Trump administration is making to the Supreme Court is When the 14th Amendment was developed in our concept of birthright c citizenship was first interpreted throughout history, including through FDR and other presidents, they couldn't have anticipated the way that it could be manipulated the way that it is today. This is going to be incredibly controversial, but there are conservative arguments both ways here and so it will be interesting to see how this all plays out over time. Yesterday we talked a little bit about Michigan Senate candidate Abdul Al Said, who had made a lot of news for an email that he had sent to his campaign staff saying he did not want to make any public comments about the death of the Ayatollah because he was concerned that some of their voters would be sad about the death of the quote, unquote death to America Ayatollah who had been the world's foremost state sponsor of terror funded attacks against the United States and our allies and others. Syed went on Fox News yesterday to try and defend some of his views and it was a very revealing interview with Bill Hemmer.
E
Why did the comment come off that way with your staff, sir?
F
Look, I'll tell you this. We're in the midst of a war. We don't need to be fighting. It's illegal, it's immoral.
A
One thing that's been clear from the interview was that Syed's crisis response practice focused primarily on trying to pivot and deflect any questions about his own support for terrorism to the extremism of maga. For example, in this clip, I will
E
not be better off if the radicals in Iran did not make the decisions for the people of Iran in that region.
F
Look, at the end of the day, I agree with you. Radicalism of any sort is bad, which is why this MAGA movement taking us into yet another war in my lifetime, and I'm only 41, is so ridiculous.
A
Now, again, I think it's a bizarre deflection to try and say the President's MAGA base is just as extreme as the Ayatollah, the world state sponsor of terror, and the radical religious extremists in Iran. But that's a person who's running for Senate, who's actually getting support from Michigan voters. But the last thing that Bill Hammer pressed him on that I thought was really important, was his decision to campaign alongside Hassan Piker, a YouTuber and podcaster who has said insane things like America deserved 9 11, like October 7th was actually a good thing, that it was the lesser of two evils. And Syed tried to kind of defend himself, but he also again just tried to pivot back and say, well, what about Donald Trump?
F
I'm wanting to speak with Hasan's audience too. So just because you invite somebody to campaign with you or you're engaging with him does not mean that you agree with him. Famously, the President had dinner with a known neo Nazi, among many, many others.
A
Now, the reason that I think this is so important is it highlights a growing strain within the Democratic Party which is closely aligned with terror interests and the fact that there are more and more people getting comfortable embracing radicals who have said things like Israel deserved October 7th, America deserved 9 11, and things like that. So that strain of extremism is something that we really need to watch closely. Earlier this week we talked a lot about the no Kings protests and the fact that so many major dark money groups and a few dark money billionaires are funding this massive astroturf protest entity. Some of those protests are actually moving on to other priorities, for example, fighting against AI development and data centers. This from the Daily Wire. Left wing foreign billionaires fund groups trying to cripple AI infrastructure. The anti AI data center movement, which has been billed as an organic movement, received more than 39 million in funding from left wing foreign billionaire donors. Among the major donors listed in the report is Swiss billionaire Hans Joerg Wies, known for donating to left wing advocacy groups such as the 1630 fund, which in turn is well known as a major fiscal sponsor and dark money hub for liberal causes. Now there's a major list outlined in this Daily Wire piece that you should check out, but you have to Ask yourself, why would foreign billionaires, including billionaires aligned with the Chinese Communist Party, be trying to hobble our ability to build the data centers we need to compete in what I consider to be the new space race of our time, which is AI development. Now, we've talked a little bit here. AI data centers are a little bit controversial because the space they take up, the energy they take up, and the cost that it requires to supply them with that energy. We've talked about how Big Tech is being urged to play a bigger role in that energy discussion and in funding the energy development needed for that. But you have to also consider that a lot of our rivals around the world, including our adversaries like China, are intentionally working to hobble us. And they found what we call useful idiots here in the United States among the protest groups involved in things like no Kings rallies to carry out the will of the Chinese Communist Party in this effort. More terrible news out of Virginia. Now again, one reason that I always talk about Virginia is because Virginia is the stocking horse for the rest of the country. Virgin had their elections one year before the midterms because of how their cycle works. Which means what we see in Virginia from a new radical Democratic leadership is a preview of what could be coming around the rest of the country. And one area that we're seeing the most damage from these left wing policies and new left wing leadership is the sanctuary policies that Abigail Spamberger signed her first day in office. Another grisly, horrific murder in Fairfax County, Virginia. This from Nick Minogue.
G
Law enforcement sources tell me that this man is in the country illegally. He's From Guatemala, he's 38 years old. Fairfax county police say they arrested this man on Sunday after they went into a home at Bailey's Crossroads in Fairfax county where they found a man suffering from stab wounds to the upper body.
A
Now it's important to note that same murderer was arrested two years ago for a terrible assault where he tried to strangle a woman. But that case was dismissed. So again, like so many of these other cases, it is a terrible perfect storm of soft on crime policies from terrible people like Fairfax County Prosecutor Steve Descano and the sanctuary policies that people like Abigail Spamberger have put into law. But on this same day that we're talking about this, there was another illegal immigrant murder, this one of a three month old child. Now to bring this all together and the previous illegal immigrant murder that we talked about, I want to just highlight this tweet. This is from Virginians for safe communities. Three of four killers are illegal aliens in Fairfax County. February 23rd Abdul Jalo stabs Stephanie Minter at a bus stop. March 27th Messiah Lopez Gomez beats his own three month old baby to death. March 29th Annabel Chaviara Moy hacks a man to death with a machete. Blood is on Fairfax Leader's hands again. There is something terrible going on in Fairfax County, Virginia and it is at the exact same time as the entire Commonwealth of Virginia is considering the new congressional maps that would give Fairfax county power over the entire Commonwealth. Five of the 11 congressional districts in Virginia will be controlled by Fairfax county where we are seeing every terrible sort of end of the world type of crime spree happening here. Thanks to policies by radical leaders

our you can't make it up segment today we go back to California. Now. Eric Swalwell is somebody that we talk about quite a bit here. And one of the most controversial things about Swalwell, besides the fact that he has skipped more votes for his congressional job that taxpayers are paying for, missed more votes than a member who died last March, the other most controversial thing to know about Eric Swalwell is his relationship with a Chinese spy. We've heard quite a bit about that. We also know that there's an FBI investigation that took place about that with files that most people have not had the opportunity to see. FBI Director Kash Patel is considering looking at those files and getting more information out into the public because this is very relevant, particularly to voters in California. But Swalwell's legal team is threatening to sue the Trump administration. Attorneys for Rep. Eric Swalwell demanded in a letter to FBI Director Kash Patel that the bureau refrain from releasing decade old investigative files involving the congressman's purported ties to a suspected Chinese intelligence operative. That suspected Chinese intelligence operative is better known as Fang Fang. And this story has gotten a ton of attention. So it's amazing that his lawyers would be trying to bottle this up. And I think they're risking a little bit of a Streisand effect there. But the thing I wanted to highlight here is that Eric Swalwell has not always felt this way about the need to hide and bottle things up. Here are a series of tweets. First about the Epstein investigation. Swalwell tweeted, you don't need a judge. Trump has the files. Why won't he release them? And then another one. The American people deserve transparency, not reactions and cover up. But it doesn't end there. Eric Swalwell has a long history of demanding transparency for this exact kind of thing. Let's go all the way back. 2019 indictments are coming. We're working to extend the statute of limitations so that no one is above the law. And then also in 2019, there are consequences to not abiding by our laws. If we let real Donald Trump and his underlings get away with obstructing justice, we lose the rule of law. If we lose the rule of law, we lose everything. Free markets, free ideas, and the freedom to dream.

Well, well, well.
A
Eric, how the turn tables.
E
Well, well, well. How the turntables?
