This morning on Game On: Woza Weekend, we're shining a spotlight on one of SouthAfrica's brightest young sporting talents. At just 14 years old, Gqeberha-born racing driver Aashay Nagura is already competing against some of the best young karting drivers in Europe; recently taking on back-to-back race weekends in the United Kingdom as part of his international development programme. And while the results are impressive, it's his resilience, determination, and rapid growth that's really turning heads. From teaching himself the basics through racing games on a PlayStation, to helping raise money for his first kart through a community raffle, to now racing internationally and chasing a dream of representing South Africa at the highest levels of motorsport, Aashay's journey is just getting started. This morning, we’re catching up with one of the country's most exciting young racers tofind out what it's really like competing on the world stage at just 14 years old.

The team battles it out to see who remembers what happened this week.

This morning on 5 Breakfast, we're joined by one of South Africa's most distinctive and celebrated voices. From her years fronting Freshlyground to her acclaimed work as a solo artist, actress, storyteller, and cultural advocate, Zolani Mahola has never been afraid to evolve. And now she's entering yet another bold new chapter. She's just announced a major global partnership with Virgin Music Group and is preparing to release her brand-new single, "XhosaNostra"; a powerful Gqom-infused track that blends cultural identity, storytelling, and fearless experimentation. The song also features one of the final recordings from the late Bravo Le Roux and serves as the first taste of her forthcoming album, People Power. This morning, we catch up with Zolani about this exciting new era, the music, the meaning behind the name, and what happens when one of South Africa's most recognisable artists decides to reinvent herself once again.
