Back for a beer review of the Beavertown & To Øl collaboration Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde! Slightly delayed release of this review as it occurred during my finals study - had to drink some insane beers to stay sane. A double beer review, so double your 5 minutes! We interrupt your regular programming to bring you…. me ranting and babbling on about random beer topics that struck my fancy this week! Thought I would try something new for this vlog, just off the cusp, uncensored, thoughts flowing out of my head. Let me know what you think!

In this brew review, I try a selection of cans from Magic Rock Brewing! Delighted to have these beers now available in Ireland, hoping we see more of their range soon. Great artwork, über portable, and really tasty beer! Win-win! Magic Rock Brewing - http://www.magicrockbrewing.com/

In a very unique episode, I review my own beer! The first (and hopefully not last) commercially produced beer I have brewed is Cheers So Brew Co Make It A Double, a Double IPA coming in at 8% and brewed at The 5 Lamps Brewery in the Liberties. I had great craic scaling up my 1 gallon recipe to 700L and brewing for the first time on a large kit. It poured first at Alltech Beer Fest and now is on tap in a few pubs in the city! For my latest trick… I compare the Galway Bay Two Hundred Fathoms of 2015 to the new 2016 release! This lovely barrel aged imperial stout is released only once a year, so if you can get your hands on a bottle or two give it a go! Back at you with another beer review! This time featuring Black Donkey’s Arigna #1 from their special limited release series. Got lucky to get my hands on a bottle when I saw Richard at the Alltech Beer Fair. Black Donkey Brewing - http://blackdonkeybeer.com/

In this brew review, I try out the special edition Barrel Aged Black Boar from The White Hag Brewery. I got lucky to get one of the last bottles in Redmonds of Ranelagh! I am a huge fan of barrel aged beers (if it wasn’t obvious by now) and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try this beast. Pub Series: I visit 57 The Headline on Clanbrassil Street Lower to have the chats with Geoff about what makes 57 unique and why he chose to open a craft beer bar! 57 The Headline: https://57theheadline.wordpress.com/ My twitter: https://twitter.com/irishfinneyMy website: http://www.5minfinney.com/

The final beer of 12 Beers of Christmas is Mikkeller Black, a very complex imperial stout coming in at 16.7%! A great way to kick-off the new year with a bang! The 11th beer for 12 Beers of Christmas is BrewDog Hinterland, a oatmeal milk imperial stout which is a tribute to the Jackalope and comes in at 9%! I heard good things about this stout and had wanted to try it, so added it to my list.
