In honor of our 250 year anniversary of the United States, our topic today is freedom. All things have a cost and freedom is no exception. The price of freedom is first paid in conflict, blood and loss but once gained, freedom is maintained at the cost of responsibility and willingness to bear that responsibility.

I went kayaking the other day and it didn't end the way I expected. Turns out, what the kayak is filled with really matters. And that is true with us too.

Last week we talked about the power of our thoughts and how we can change them to help us feel and believe what we would like that will help us achieve what we would like. This week I want to talk about the idea of Hard is Good.

I am going to address this topic in two parts. This week I want to focus on the power of our thoughts and how they affect us. What do you do when the words in your head don't help you and you can't think of something different that you could believe? Our thoughts are so powerful because we usually believe what we thinkg and we act according to those beliefs. So what do we do when we want to change our thoughts but it feels so true?
