https://3speak.tv/watch?v=acgalarza/mldsbpqs Why do personal stories perform so much better than generic "how-to" lists? According to my guest, LinkedIn expert Michaela Alexis, it comes down to basic biology. We are hardwired to connect through narrative, not just facts. We talked about how to start with your core message and then build a narrative around it to make it digestible. By sharing a bit of vulnerability, you help the audience lower their guard, making them receptive to what you have to say. People don't care what you know until they know that you understand them. What do you think? ¿Qué piensas al respecto? https://3speak.tv/watch?v=acgalarza/iwgelgoe Do you think it is true that about 80% of people are unaware that they are part of the status quo? If so, that means the other 20% are ready for the next level of personal growth. Yet, they often stay stuck for one specific reason: The 'How.' We all have good intentions, but we are often unsure of how to make things work, whether it’s applying our skills in a new venture or creating a growth strategy. In this clip, Arjan shares a piece of counterintuitive advice: surrendering your 'How.' Trying to figure out the exact mechanics of the future will only paralyze you. His view really resonates with me. I have to remind myself that while nothing I've learned is ever wasted, there will never be a point where I am in complete control of what comes next. With that in mind, I just need to keep moving forward. What do you think? ¿Qué opinas tú? https://3speak.tv/watch?v=acgalarza/gpnhccfd Many entrepreneurs, and people in general feel frustrated and caught in a paradox. You’ve built the business, raised the family, and by all external measures life is pretty good. But why does it still feel off? Everything is “working,” yet something inside whispers that you’re stuck. But what if that tension isn’t a problem, but a sign? In this clip from one of my latest interviews, Arjan talks about how to reframe “feeling stuck” and unlock the next chapter of your life. We explore the idea that feeling stuck may actually be an invitation to step up and imagine who you’re becoming next. If success feels suffocating, it’s not a setback, it’s an invitation to grow. https://3speak.tv/watch?v=acgalarza/fsebifdm A few days ago I sat down with LinkedIn expert Michaela Alexis to explore how vulnerability, storytelling, and genuine human connection can transform the way you show up online. When Michaela lost her job in 2016, she didn’t just update her resume. She changed the way she told her story, and it opened doors she never expected. We talk about the beautiful power of the written word, how owning your humanness (yes, even your anxiety) can build trust, and why sharing your real story matters more than ever. If you’re building your brand, navigating a career shift, or wrestling with self-doubt, this conversation will leave you feeling encouraged, inspired, and truly seen. https://3speak.tv/watch?v=acgalarza/fugphjkb If someone asked you to define success right now, what would you say? That's precisely one of the questions I asked one of my latest guests on my podcast. For many, the answer defaults to classic things like money, properties, titles, being popular, etc. In one of my latest podcasts, my guest admitted that he hasn't found the one definition, but he knows what he wants it to include. In his case, success is "that I live from rest in a playful state, aligned with who I'm created to be." Now, that's a powerful definition, don't you think? It's powerful because it is a radical shift from the culture of constant hustle, and at the core of it is the idea of alignment. When your values and your actions are aligned, then your purpose is unlocked, and everyone around you profits from that. Arjan argues that this authenticity is actually your specific "added value" to the world. As he beautifully puts it, "Success means, in a way, that I'm a big blessing for someone else." Whether we define success as having enough to eat and a roof over our heads, a certain amount of money or properties, or achieving X and Y, Arjan's perspective reminds us that the version of success that brings lasting joy is the one where we are most authentically ourselves. So, let us ask ourselves: are we just busy, or are we living with integrity? https://3speak.tv/watch?v=acgalarza/rkrhvfhr People often assume that the person at the top of an organization is the ultimate leader. But is that really true? Arjan Wisser, one of my latest guests in my podcast, challenges this idea. He questions the myth that a CEO automatically equals a leader. In my own professional experience, I agree with him; many high-level executives are actually well-paid managers who are excellent at managing processes but are often just as terrified of the unknown as anyone else. Consequently, they often aren't able to lead their companies through uncertainty. Arjan and I discussed why people in high positions are often more afraid of risk than the rest of us. Often they fear losing face, maintaining an image, or preserving the status quo. Many avoid taking risks because they do not want to endanger their position. As long as things are moving, they convince themselves there is no need to take risks. But true leadership is not about protecting the status quo. True leadership is about identifying new opportunities and creating the future. It is about communicating a clear vision, equipping the team, and inspiring people to move forward. The conversation is not about criticizing leaders. It is an invitation to look inward and explore why becoming more of who you truly are is one of the greatest gifts you can offer to those around you. Do you agree that most CEOs are managers rather than leaders? personally, I believe that being a leader does not necessarily require a title or position. How are you stepping up to lead in your current role, regardless of your standing? Share your thoughts in the comments. We ended up having an powerful and wide ranging conversation about Web3, privacy, decentralization, and how everyday internet users can take back their power. From earning crypto without fees to protecting your voice in a world that leans more and more toward censorship, Crimsonclad explains everything in clear and genuine terms that even I can understand. https://3speak.tv/watch?v=acgalarza/ipxzprnb Why do so many leaders feel stuck, even when everything looks perfect on paper? In this conversation, my guest Arjan Visser and I explore that question with honesty and curiosity. Together, we look at how midlife transitions, shifting paradigms, and an identity led approach to leadership can reshape a leader’s understanding of success and open the door to a more grounded, meaningful, and future focused life. https://3speak.tv/watch?v=acgalarza/cbvzudai We often look at leadership as a job title, a position at the top of an organization. There’s a persistent myth that once you reach a certain level, you're supposed to have all the answers. The reality is often the complete opposite. True, being a leader has its benefits, but it also has its struggles. Often, being a leader means profound isolation. In my last conversation with Aljona, she talked about how a lot of leaders are completely alone with all their struggles. They are stuck "somewhere on this top," surrounded by expectations from everywhere, yet they have no real guidance and no safe spaces to grow. Granted, some might want it that way, and that is something that might come with the responsibility, but it is not necessarily good. Aljona and I have gone through these situations ourselves. Yes, there are a lot of resources and tools today to help leaders live a balanced life; nevertheless, leaders often don't have the guidance or somebody who can support them. Tools teach us the "what," but they can't offer the relational or human support needed to navigate the pressure of the "how," process struggles, or apply these new skills. The core message is simple but profound: everyone needs guidance and help. We all need safe spaces where we can be open about our challenges without fear of judgment. True growth cannot happen in a vacuum. If we lack a support system, we damage our teams, but also ourselves. I leave you with one reflection question: where do you find your safe space for balance and growth?
