AI Podden får besøk av Dr. Morten Goodwin som forteller oss om kunstig intelligens, maskinlæring, og ChatGPT.Dr. Morten Goodwin er professor ved UiA og nestleder for Centre for Artificial Intelligence Research. Morten Goodwin (født 1980) ble introdusert til kunstig intelligens da han på 2000-tallet tok en mastergrad i Agder, og han har vært bitt av basillen siden. Han dro senere til Danmark for å spesialisere seg med en PhD innen kunstig intelligens, og er nå en aktiv forsker med mer en 110 fagvellevurderte bak seg. Han underviser til daglig om kunstig intelligens for bachelor-, master- og PhD-studenter. Han er også en aktiv populærvitenskapelig formidler med fokus å de enorme fremskritt både innen forskningen og den praktiske nytten av kunstig intelligens. Høsten 2020 gav han ut boken “AI. Kjersti Engan er professor ved institutt for data- og elektroteknologi ved Universitetet i Stavanger (UiS). Hun mottok sin bachelorgrad i elektroteknikk fra Høgskolen i Bergen i 1994 og sin master- og doktorgrad i elektroteknikk i henholdsvis 1996 og 2000 fra UiS. Hun er leder for Biomedical data analysis lab – BMDLab – ved UiS. Hennes forskningsinteresser er signal- og bildebehandling og maskinlæring med fokus på medisinske applikasjoner ved bruk av blant annet signal- og bildefremstilling. Øyvind Meinich-Bache er en forsker og ekspert innen helseteknologi. Han har bidratt betydelig til å forbedre omsorgen for nyfødte gjennom utviklingen av innovative teknologiløsninger. Meinich-Baches arbeid har fokusert på bruk av video og kunstig intelligens for deteksjon av fødsel og gjenopplivningsaktiviteter, samt måling av brystkompresjonskvalitet under gjenoppliving.
