Through over a decade of research practice in the field, she has become an expert on plastics and how they are literally killing us and our children. Kathryn studied microplastics alongside a researcher at Jean-Michel Cousteau's Ocean Futures Society in Santa Barbara, California. She traveled to the Great Pacific Garbage Gyre to collect rubbish and study the impact of microplastics on marine life and plankton.
