As the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft is complete, there were two quarterbacks taken off the board: Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza (Raiders, Pick #1) and Alabama QB Ty Simpson (Rams, Pick #13). While the Mendoza selection was expected, the question were really surrounding Simpson. As the LA Rams are set to start 38-year old quarterback in Matt Stafford this season, was this a good move for Sean McVay’s squad? Does it help the Los Angeles Rams win now?
