Gotta clean out sound fridge to make room for the deer meat. It's one more thing.

Armstrong and Getty.
Armstrong
One more thing. All will become clear. Stay with us.
Co-host or Guest
That reminds me, my actual refrigerator is. Got so many cookies in it. My son made as part of a dinner last night, he made what he call white chips.
Armstrong
There's still white chocolate chips.
Co-host or Guest
White chocolate chips. Do you call that. Do you still just call it a chocolate chip oatmeal cookie? Anyway, it's a white chocolate chocolate chip, but he made a ton of cookies and they got a bunch of batter to make the rest of them. And I can't have cookies around the house.
Armstrong
Oh, I'm not.
Co-host or Guest
I'm not strong enough for that.
Armstrong
No, no. Boy, I love oatmeal cookies.
Podcast Host
Oh.
Co-host or Guest
Fresh out of the oven from scratch. Oatmeal cookies with white chocolate chips. How many could you eat in a day? Easily? I mean, I could easily eat five in a day. I mean, without effort.
Armstrong
What are you, a child? I know.
Co-host or Guest
I mean, I could not even with
Michael
a cup of coffee have.
Armstrong
Have three for breakfast. It's oatmeal. Seriously.
Co-host or Guest
I know.
Armstrong
Probably better than a lot of, like, bars you can eat that are candy.
Podcast Host
Almost.
Co-host or Guest
Almost certainly.
Han
Yeah.
Armstrong
It's a fair amount of sugar there.
Co-host or Guest
I might eat 10 today.
Armstrong
The oatmeal cookie is a fine cookie. No doubt. All right, so we're cleaning out the sound fridge. Metal guy, you ready? There we go. Why don't we start With a couple of jokes we didn't. Were there a couple of them we didn't use, Michael?
Michael
Yeah, there's. Here's one right here. All right.
Armstrong
Minnesota governor Tim Wall signed a bill into law last week that allows assisted living facilities and nursing homes to serve alcohol to residents.
Han
That way, they can just tell you your kids visited.
Armstrong
Go. That's nice. I don't remember, but that's nice. That just made me sad. That's a rough joke. Jeez Louise. You got any jokes that are funny and not sad, Michael?
Michael
Well, here's one that's just. Well, it's got felt.
Co-host or Guest
So here's a joke about lonely old people.
Armstrong
On Monday, an armed suspect set off an incendiary device outside a federal building in Manhattan. Once caught, the suspect yelled, get your hands off me. I'm the mayor.
Co-host or Guest
We didn't. We didn't talk about that story. That was one of the dumbest plans anybody's ever come up with. The guy's clearly got problems. He also appeared to be about 4ft tall.
Armstrong
Yeah, a hobbit. I didn't know we were allowing hobbits in the military, but what a dumb plan.
Co-host or Guest
He had like a hatchet and a BB gun and just. What are you gonna do there?
Armstrong
What he was hoping to do. What was. He was wearing a helmet accomplish?
Co-host or Guest
I don't know.
Armstrong
Sounds like he's a bit of a soft head. So the helmet was a good one. Is that it on the jokes, Michael, or we got any more?
Michael
Yeah, that's it.
Armstrong
I don't remember number six. Am I not paying attention?
Michael
Yeah, well, do six guys listen to this?
Co-host or Guest
I read that nine new emojis are
Armstrong
coming out next year, including a pickle emoji.
Co-host or Guest
Well, the eggplant emoji had a good run, you know, after all, I could
Han
say
Co-host or Guest
you had that good, lonely, old. Do you have anything about euthanizing the family cat or anything like that?
Armstrong
Oh, geez. What? All right, moving on to the oddballs and randos classification. This is rock legend Tommy Lee. He the drummer of what? Motley Cruel, Married to Pam Anderson for a time.
Co-host or Guest
I've seen his. I've seen him in action.
Armstrong
I believe I have seen his drumstick myself. His. His eggplant, if you will. I don't remember the circumstance.
Co-host or Guest
Yeah, why did.
Armstrong
Why have I seen that sex tape with Pam Anderson?
Co-host or Guest
I think I had backstage tickets for a crew concert. I was really drunk. He and I got hit it off. Maybe that's why.
Tony Ayo
I don't know.
Armstrong
He asked, are you. I curious. That was that Was probably the moment. Yes. Anyway, here's the great Tommy Lee.
Jay Leno
I was with my bass player, and we were doing heroin, and we ran out, and it's like, what are you gonna do? We unscrewed the cap on a fifth of Jack and filled up the cap with Jack and then pulled a couple syringes, and we're shooting Jack Daniels. I was like. It was at that moment where I went, okay, we can just drink this, but we're shooting it, right? This is wrong. And somebody's gonna.
Armstrong
Do you even remember the sensation of shooting booze?
Co-host or Guest
Did it do anything differently?
Jay Leno
Yeah, you could taste it.
Armstrong
Oh, wow.
Jay Leno
You know, like you taste heroin.
Co-host or Guest
I have a friend, one of the healthiest people I ever knew in my life. Ate right, exercised all the time. That kind of guy got done with a hike and slumped over the steering wheel of his car with a major heart attack, Dead when he was, like, 50. Then you got people like this. The drummer from Motley Crue who's injecting whiskey into his veins, who's still alive. Hey, God, explain all that.
Armstrong
Yeah, yeah, yeah. The next clip is quite long of Jay Leno and Adam Corolla. Jack, you're familiar with that.
Co-host or Guest
How long is it?
Armstrong
A minute and a half. I mean, like, we're going anywhere. Go ahead.
Co-host or Guest
Is that entertaining, Hanson? I mean, I know the story, but is it total? It's two comedians. Maybe it's funny because it's two comedians talking. We could always edit it out if it's not.
Armstrong
Yeah, let's just roll it.
Han
When I was doing the Tonight Show, I was making 30 million a year. It was ridiculous, okay? And NBC said, well, we're gonna have to cut half the crew. You know, so we had a big meeting. I said, all right, Bo, show of hands. How many fail? I should take a 50% pay cut so we can keep everybody. Well, I got outvoted, and I said, well, I got screwed on that one. But really, I already have $15 million. I'm doing pretty good. You know, I never thought I'd get this far. And you know something? They were the best crew for the rest of the days. You know, everything was always terrific. It was a union crew. Everybody made a good living. You know, guys would come up and show me the car they bought or the house they got around the corner or whatever it might be. And it didn't cost me anything, really, because I had plenty of money. I was making plenty of money.
Armstrong
What year did you take the haircut? From 30 to 15.
Han
It was in the 2000s maybe 2005 from that point on.
Armstrong
I think the legend is, is that you always kept all those Tonight show checks.
Co-host or Guest
Oh, yeah.
Armstrong
And made your money doing live performances.
Co-host or Guest
Yeah. Corporate things and stuff like that.
Han
Yeah, you got to be hungry.
Co-host or Guest
I, I, I live on.
Han
I, I used to live week to week.
Armstrong
Did you literally just put those checks,
Jay Leno
you know, in the bank?
Co-host or Guest
And I loved all the money I
Han
made as a stand up. Yeah. I wanted to be a comedian. I never thought TV was a job that would Last year.
Armstrong
How many years did you do that?
Han
Till the very end? I never touched any of it.
Co-host or Guest
Isn't that interesting? He was making $30 million a year, then $15 million a year. He didn't spend any of that money. All that lifestyle he had, he earned as a comedian, which is what he wanted to do. He wanted to be. I live this way because I am a on the road comedian who's very successful. That's what he wanted to be.
Armstrong
And if I start spending any of this TV money, I'll lose my hunger. Yeah, that's, you know, that ended up being way more interesting than I expected.
Co-host or Guest
I've heard him tell that story before and I, I've told my Jay Leno story before. I spent some time with him because he came to the town I was working in at the time, and I went and picked him up at the airport, which was an hour and a half away. I picked him up at the airport and drove him an hour and a half in the car to this crappy motel that he stayed in during the day to take a nap before he did his show at night, which was fantastic. And then drove him all the way back to the airport and he flew back to California to be there the next day for his Tonight show gig. I mean, that's schlepping around. Yeah, you got that kind of money, you don't need to live this lifestyle. But he wanted to be a comedian, so.
Armstrong
Yeah, that's so interesting, huh?
Co-host or Guest
How about the very few people are ever in this sort of position. You're making $30 million a year and they tell you you got to cut half of your crew. Well, or I could struggle to get by on $15 million a year. And we keep everybody right.
Armstrong
Yeah. I'd imagine that made him popular.
Michael
Yeah.
Armstrong
You know, it's funny, as we were discussing that clip and whether to play it right here, I was reminded of before the show, we do a quick meeting where we go over what audio we have and what do we need and that sort of thing. And I'll Say hello. And once in a while it happens. And I've never, have never commented on this before during the meeting, but I'm going to comment on it now. Sometimes when Michael or Han or Katie, sometimes. And she will be back eventually. Are describing a clip and why it's a good clip. The description will be significantly longer than the clip itself. And I think, why didn't we just play the clip anyway? We were getting dangerously close to that in our Jay Leno discussion. Let's see. Michael, does 12 need any setup?
Michael
No, I don't think so.
Armstrong
It's a.
Michael
Well, it's a. Australian woman had a surprise, gave birth to four identical girls.
Armstrong
And this is a doctor.
Co-host or Guest
I thought you were going to say kangaroos.
Michael
No, this is a doctor talking.
Podcast Host
It's amazing, to be honest. Particularly the fact that this was spontaneously conceived. We do see multiple pregnancies more often with fertility treatments, particularly ivf. But for this to be spontaneously conceived, for the conception to happen. So one fertilized egg that then splits not once, not twice, but three times into four different babies who then share a placenta. That is just amazing. And to end up with four beautiful babies and a beautiful family now of 10.
Getty
Wow.
Armstrong
So they had four kids, now they got eight
Co-host or Guest
identical. Which I guess is very, very rare.
Michael
Yeah.
Co-host or Guest
How in the world are you going to tell those kids apart depending on how identical you are? I had a good friend of mine in high school, his sisters were identical. Tw and he had to like walk around and like look at them for a while to tell which one was which.
Armstrong
Wow.
Co-host or Guest
They were like really identical.
Armstrong
Yeah, yeah.
Co-host or Guest
Nobody in high school had any idea which one they were all the time.
Armstrong
Right, right. They play hilarious pranks or.
Co-host or Guest
I don't remember that.
Armstrong
Switch identities or try out each other's boyfriends.
Co-host or Guest
You'd have to end up in situations where that wasn't me, that was. You're mad at the wrong person.
Armstrong
Wow. I've actually heard about that being used as a defense in a criminal case. I wasn't there. Was my twin and the twins like, no, it wasn't. Which one was it? Copper. Yeah, tough stuff. Any setup needed for 13 Michael, 27
Michael
year old woman unhappy with men. I'll just leave it at that.
Armstrong
Okay, do we need to know her profession?
Michael
She's a locksmith.
Armstrong
Okay.
Podcast Host
What?
Locksmith Woman
I'm a locksmith in the city. And I'm tired of all these locksmith men taking my jobs just because they have more money to market themselves. So I also want to feel safer and I want women to feel Safer. So how about you call me instead when you're locked out, instead of giving business to all these creepy men?
Armstrong
All right, that was just odd. So she resents people who have money to market their business.
Michael
Correct.
Han
Yeah.
Armstrong
Okay.
Co-host or Guest
That's a good angle, though. If she could come up with the money to market. You're a woman. You locked yourself out of your car. It's late at night or whatever. Don't call some random dude. Call me.
Armstrong
Right. Yeah. Yeah. For that sort of call and even for, like, installing locks and stuff like that, she could say, I understand what it's like to be in a. A woman in a city that has this much crime. I want to help you feel. That'd be a great pitch. Maybe she should quit bitching and do something about her situation.
Podcast Host
Wow.
Armstrong
Well, she just had the whiny voice of the victim.
Co-host or Guest
Wait a minute. Yeah, like somebody had done this to her.
Han
Right.
Armstrong
That's why I pulled the clip, dumbass. Anyway, so that, you know, that was over the line. She'll mature. Yeah, I didn't like her attitude.

The headlines, they move on. But the heartache and the terror, they do not. Iran and its terrorist proxies are continuing to target Israel. Hezbollah continues its attacks in the north, forcing families to live under constant threat. But Israel is not only defending her people, she is standing on the front lines against terror that threatens us all. Even when the news crews leave the international fellowship of Christians and Jews, they remain. Every day they are on the ground providing life saving aid. Now, near Israel's border with Lebanon, a Hezbollah drone recently struck the home of Yelena. Widowed earlier this year and living alone, she was trapped inside by the blast. Thankfully, she was not injured, but she remained displaced. It's hard these days, she says, but I don't want to leave. Well, as Christians, we are called to stand with God's people and pray for those defending Israel and protecting the freedoms we hold dear. I want you to join the international fellowship of Christians and Jews in praying for the peace of Jerusalem and for the soldiers, families and civilians carrying the burden of this fight right now. Finally, we played this at the beginning of the radio show. It's definitely worth encore presentation. Ladies and gentlemen, we give you the sounds of a German deer calling competition.
Co-host or Guest
That's pretty funny that you labeled it that way, Michael, when we all know there was a construction worker in the stall next to you and you had
Armstrong
your phone out and he had this cyclosporasis thingy. Wow. Oh, now I'm looking at the pictures. Wow, that's. Oh Lord. Oh my God. They're all. They have their mouths wide open and they are manipulating this tubular looking thing and stroking their hand up and down. It's. Well, leaves very little to the imagination, huh?
Co-host or Guest
And then the idea is to call the moose so it'll come closer so you can kill it.
Armstrong
Deer. Yes, dear. Yeah, yeah.
Michael
They've been doing this in Germany for 800 years apparently.
Armstrong
Well, I wonder if there are primitive, primitive examples of that device. I wonder what they're. They're called those things. It's probably some 43 letter long German word, right?
Tony Ayo
Yes.
Armstrong
That's easy. Dear Wisdom Kollermanachen. This is. This is the deer calling apparatus of the.
Co-host or Guest
With an o with two dots above it.
Armstrong
Oh, several of them. Yeah, yeah, yeah. If he calls the deer. The deer come close, then he kills them.
Han
Yeah.
Armstrong
I am the best. I've killed many deer. Yeah, some weird nuts. You gotta. Can we post that video at mail at hot under hotlinks armstrongandgetty.com not for children. I mean, it's a bunch of old German guys calling deer. But it really looks like they're. They're pleasuring, you know?
Co-host or Guest
Well, anyway, stroking their Reich stuff.
Han
What?
Co-host or Guest
Hey, metal guy.
Michael
That.
Co-host or Guest
That was an episode of

Podcast: Armstrong & Getty On Demand (iHeartPodcasts)
In this episode, Armstrong & Getty clear out the "sound fridge" to make room for a freezer full of deer meat—a playful metaphor for running through a collection of leftover clips, stories, and commentaries. The hosts and crew riff on cookie temptation, odd news items, and some classic celebrity stories. Key segments include light banter about food, commentary on current and odd news (including a unique story about identical quadruplets), a notable Jay Leno anecdote, a critique of a female locksmith's business challenge, and a hilariously bizarre look at the German deer-calling championship.
