And I think as a society, we need to understand we are dealing with domestic terrorism. It's growing more violent by the day. It's certainly a little oversimplified, but yeah, there's, there's absolutely a branch of the pro Palestine movement that is willing to kill at this point. And on that topic, before we dive into it a little more in depth, I was encouraged to see Eric Adams, the somewhat odd mayor of New York, leaning hard on infamous DA Alvin Bragg to actually prosecute this latest round of Columbia students who stormed the library, injured a couple people, caused many, many thousands.

Two security guards suffered injuries during the storming of the building in which Hamas, supporting student activists, handed out literature to classmates attempting to study for finals. Eric Adams issued a public call to Alvin Bragg to not drop prosecutions. Quote, I think the DA going forward with these charges is very important to discourage people from carrying out these actions. When you break into a dorm, when you destroy property, when you harass students and menace them, we need to move forward in an aggressive fashion to send a long shroud message. Long. I'm sorry, a strong loud message that this is not going to be tolerated. The last round of Columbia, Hamilton hall, violent takeover, takeover charges were all dropped by Alvin Bragg. So good for his honor the mayor. So on the topic of the long time history of far left Marxists, you know, radicals joining with Islamists to accomplish various things. It's just been crap they learned from their professors for a long time. And what are you going to get out of class and take on the United States? You're going to go. Go to Washington D.C. and start pulling down all those pillars of. And what are you. What are you going to do? You can't do anything. And so they think, wait a minute, wait a minute.

Long distance aircraft, including one base that Jack has referred to that it was virtually in Siberia. I mean, just a world away. It's amazing. We have more information on that. I just want to comment real quick on the Marsh, the Martha Raditz piece because I saw coverage on a couple of different networks that said roughly the same thing. There were no breakthroughs or very little progress was reported. You know, Trump's so proud of being able to make a deal. Oh, the peace talks.

That's funny, I don't even hear the peace talk commentary. It just goes, I don't even like, doesn't even register with me because I think it's all phony.

Well, right, exactly. But Trump's a great deal maker and he's made some fabulous deals especially, you know. Well, anyway, don't want to get off on that tangent, but you've got, you know, he knows hotels in New York. All right, so you got one guy says, I want to buy your hotel, I'll give you $10. And the other guy says, I wouldn't sell this hotel in a million years for $50 million. Oh, okay. So there was no breakthrough. No, there was no basis for a deal whatsoever. There was nobody at the table looking for a deal. They were going through the motions for some reason.

Well, what does it mean? Is this just a coincidence? So the so called peace talks. Zelensky wants peace talks. I mean he said he would show up there in Istanbul a couple of weeks ago if Putin would and Rubio is going to. So Zelensky wants peace talks. The every weekend Russia has launched the biggest attacks of the war. This last weekend it was 400 some drones, a hundred more than the previous record from two weeks ago. An attack on and at the same time Ukraine launches there by far biggest attack on Russia where they took out a third of their long range bombers. And to this morning they blew up that bridge head, then Crimea again. So now Russia is going to have to rebuild it before they can get troops and ammunition and everything into Ukraine.

But we have to rewind your statement that Zelensky wants peace talks. Zelinsky wants peace talks so he can demonstrate to Trump. Yeah, I'm willing to talk peace, but he has no interest in it. So there I went through the motions. Now can I have some weapons please?

But why, why are they both launching their biggest attacks of the war?

[Michael]

Is that just in an attempt to win it? I think it's as simple as that.

[Guest]

Nothing to do with forcing the peace talks.

[Michael]

I don't Think so. Although Zelinsky does have motivation for actual peace talks. But he's made it clear over and over again to the point that J.D. vance hijacked a meeting and started yelling at the guy that, you know, he's trying to make the point. Vladimir Putin is not sincere, he's not engaging and he has no desire for peace. Anyway, to the whole trucking thing, this is fairly breaking ish news. Ukraine surprise attack dubbed Operation Spider Web. The Kremlin authorities are hunting for artem Timofeev, a 37 year old former Ukrainian DJ who they say owns a trucking company. And at least one of the trucks involved with the trucking of the drones around the country was from his company.

I don't know if I believe it. I've never known a DJ who owned anything.

Well, he's a former dj, Jack. He moved on in life. But they both, he and his 34 year old cutie wife who moonlights as an erotic novelist.

Is believed to have aided him. She writes erotic novels. All right, 50 Shades of Kiev or whatever. And so they're hunting for this guy and his wife. Jack, I suggest that to get to the bottom of the story, you study up on Russian trucking and I will read the erotic.

No, but to the whole, you brought up J.D. vance in the Oval Office meeting and you don't have the cards. Will Brit Humon Fox addressed that whole issue yesterday.

[Michael]

It certainly does establish that this country whose president was being told at the White House that he didn't have any cards to play, that he apparently has quite a few cards to play, including this daring attack which, you know, if the Ukrainians can vote, we believe wiped out about 30 to 40% of Russia's strategic bombing force. That's a major setback for Russia. It is an embarrassing intelligence failure and an embarrassing defense failure and who knows what else the Ukrainians who prove pretty ingenious may have up their sleeves.

So they have some cards, as has been pointed out, a bunch of places, many of these aircraft, hundreds of millions of dollars of damage done for hundreds of dollars of drones. But many of these aircraft aren't being built anymore. There aren't any parts for the ones they need to fix, the ones that are heavily damaged. Very unlikely they're going to be able to get them off the ground. And as we pointed out earlier, four of those aircraft were part of the squadron that flew around in the air protecting Moscow in particular from missile attacks, drone attacks, that sort of stuff. They were an eye in the sky. They were A defense. They no longer have the ability to do 247 surveillance of Moscow with those planes. It's a big deal.

[Michael]

So getting back to your really rude joke about DJs not owning anything. This guy and his wife were both Ukrainians living in Russia for a number of years, but he started his trucking company a year ago.

Well, this is really like the pager Hezbollah attack.

[Michael]

Yeah.

And that they, you know, they got that supply line going for a long time up in Germany, and they had companies there and that whole thing.

[Michael]

Exactly. So this dude, I'm guessing, or his cutie wife, reaches out to Ukrainian intelligence and says, hey, we're patriots. We live in Russia. My husband's got a couple of trucks. He's got a small trucking company or whatever. They get financed to expand that trucking company a year ago. Because this has been in the works for at least a year. Right.

Year and a half, according to. According to Zelensky.

[Michael]

And if this is true. Indeed, it's easy to see the outlines of it. These two Ukrainian patriots said, yeah, we'll help any way we can. And they truck the drones around Russia with domestic licenses and the rest of it.

Wow. And then dropped off these containers at various places and people just didn't notice or whatever. I guess that container is supposed to be there.

[Michael]

And you can picture a part of every town in America where nobody is notice a couple of, you know, a few pallets worth of crap.

[Guest]

Yeah, exactly. And then the lids open up automatically and out come the drones and blow up all the planes at various airfields across the country. And in one particular instance, the containers were right next to the FSB headquarters Zelinsky bragged about over the weekend, which.

[Michael]

Is something I hope we, the US of A. Are staffing three shifts round the clock working on our anti attack drone technology.

No kidding. China could do this. Probably wouldn't blow up airplanes, although they might, but certainly could blow up power grids and dams or whatever infrastructure.

[Michael]

And as we've discussed, could be North Korea, Iran, a cartel, a criminal gang, you know, trend Aragua, two weirdo incel nut jobs.

Right. It is a major change in warfare. According to every military expert that I've read or listened to. This is a major moment in the history of war they likened it to. I was reading last night. It was a World War II thing. Where up until that point it wasn't believed that planes could sink a ship that was at sea. It had never happened before. You just couldn't bring the firepower on a moving ship at sea. That Far from your base to sink a ship. It was impossible. Then Japanese planes sank two British ships that were headed there to defend Singapore early in World War II. And Winston Churchill. I should have hung onto the quote, because I was reading this last night, very dramatic quote of this changes everything going forward in the history of the world. Now that ships can't just, you know, travel wherever they want and be unsinkable. Well, this is that big a deal, according to a lot of military experts on the whole drone thing.

And at the same time, our mighty warships and the ones that China is so diligently building may soon be pretty obsolete.

All right, and then there's the discussion of Trump's golden dome. Okay, so you defend yourself against intercontinental ballistic missiles bringing in nukes or whatever. It doesn't matter if you got a bunch of containers in the country letting drones loose, flying 50ft off the ground.

[Michael]

Yeah, maybe we need the golden dome and like, big mesh fences, like we're running a driving range next to a golf course or something like that. I mean, goodness knows the. I could see the intersection of the lowest of tech and the highest of tech to ward off these drones.

Right. So I guess already, obviously, in Russia, they're stopping, like, every truck in the country, which, you know, is one benefit in that you just disrupt society too much. That would take a lot of manpower. That would slow down all kinds of different shipping. I wonder what we're going to do in this country with thousands of containers coming in from China or all over the place. The hope aren't full of drones about to be shipped across the country.

And other than the utterly useless checkpoint coming into California from various states. You have any bananas? They ask, ask you if you have any fresh fruit or, like, plants.

You don't have checkpoints between states in the United States. I mean, the idea of cracking down on this, it's. It's nigh on impossible. So, yeah, it changes everything.

He has said, look, I know this is unpopular, I know my colleagues are angry at me, but I am not going to pretend for another second that we're not doing exactly the wrong thing here. We can't grow the deficit anymore. We can't do it to the kids and grandkids. I won't. It guy's a hero.

Well, let's see how he votes. So I'd not thought about this before. Jonah Goldberg had an interesting screed the other day about he doesn't know if he believes any of these people, like who's the guy from Texas who's one of the standouts in the house for being Chip Roy? Chip Roy. He said, Chip Roy always makes all these noises about being a fiscal conservative and we can't do it and blah blah, blah blah blah. And then he always votes for it, says this is the last time, can't do it. But because of this, because of that. And, and that's one example, there's lots of them do it and he just, and Jonah was wondering, and I wonder myself, how many of them that's just what you got to be in that district. And the speaker, whoever it is at the time in this case, Mike Johnson says, make all the noise you want to make. Say you're a no vote up until the last second. Do whatever you got to do to hang on to that seat, and then you vote yes and it passes. I have seen that so many times in my lifetime of watching this, including Rand Paul, sometimes where they're just up until the left, and then you hear you voted yes, and then it just kind of goes away and it passes.

Michael, give me 73. I have a defense for those fellows. But first, this is Mike Johnson, the Speaker of the House. I am a fiscal hawk. Many of my Republican colleagues in the House feel the same way, but it did not. We didn't get in this situation overnight, Kristen. It took us decades, many decades of Congress's, frankly, mismanagement of the public fisc to get in this situation. And the last four years, the Biden administration increased spending dramatically. So it's going to take us a while to get out of it. Yeah, there's truth to that. I hate to, you know, admit that the defense I would offer for those guys is that there are two strategies you can follow. You can either say, I'm not voting for it. I'm not voting for it unless I get this, and then you don't vote for it, or you get everything, you can drag it out as long as you can, then agree. All right, I'll give you my vote. I guess this is all I can get, but I'm going to be back and try again next time. It's. It's a similar process. The, the problem with what, what Jonah Goldberg, who I think has lost his mind lately. But anyway, he's very smart guy. The problem with his strategy is that you really, you're kind of punching your caucus in the face, and you might. The next time those negotiations happen, you won't be able to get anything.

I'm not gonna argue with that. So let's see. I'm saying things that people know need to be said. Said Johnson, the kid who just exposed that the King is butt naked may not be real popular because he was kind of made everybody else look like fools, but they all recognize he was right. He said in the Senate, I'd like to think at least that my colleagues respect my passion, my genuine desire to do the right thing, to fix these problems. Takes issue with his GOP colleagues, claims that economic Growth from the new tax cut will reign in the deficit. He says no. The official scorekeepers who say it'll expand are right. He said he appreciates that Trump's ideas, like no tax on overtime are directed toward working men and women. But there's nothing growth incentivizing about his tax proposals.

Well, I've heard some stuff about the no tax on overtime, how difficult that's going to. Or not the no taxes on tips, how difficult that's going to be in real life. Like I've got a. Well, let's use somebody else, not me. If you had a gardener or sitter that you pay cash, and if you were doing what you're supposed to do with the 1099s and the tax and all, why wouldn't you just call everything a tip? Tip? What's stopping you from saying, yeah, nice job on the yard. Here's a, here's a $200 is a tip, right?

Right. Yeah. Plus, you know, if you look at. All right, so you got a guy doling out slop there at the Chili's, you got a guy Dolan out slop at the, the, I don't know, your higher end burger joint. Why is the one person get taxed significantly less than the other person if their incomes are substantially the same for doing almost the same job? It's a silly idea. Trump said it so he'd win Nevada.
