This Free Palestine movement is nothing more than a domestic terror organization right now. I mean, we had the killings in Washington a couple of weeks ago. We had this issue in Colorado. We've seen activities on college campuses now for months and months and months and months. The rise of anti Semitism in America, the rise in the number of people who have come to America who hold anti American views, anti Western views and anti Semitic views and are now willing to act on it. And I think as a society, we need to understand we are dealing with domestic terrorism. It's growing more violent by the day. And if we don't deal with it, these kinds of things are going to keep happening in cities, all over the place. Do you think that's overstated?
Michael
I don't know. That's an interesting question. It's certainly a little oversimplified, but yeah, there's, there's absolutely a branch of the pro Palestine movement that is willing to kill at this point. To kill and to maim and to burn and to occupy and to deface or whatever. And on that topic, before we dive into it a little more in depth, I was encouraged to see Eric Adams, the somewhat odd mayor of New York, leaning hard on infamous DA Alvin Bragg to actually prosecute this latest round of Columbia students who stormed the library, injured a couple people, caused many, many thousands.
Guest
Of dollars in damage, yelling free Palestine.
Michael
Right, Exactly. Two security guards suffered injuries during the storming of the building in which Hamas, supporting student activists, handed out literature to classmates attempting to study for finals. Eric Adams issued a public call to Alvin Bragg to not drop prosecutions. Quote, I think the DA going forward with these charges is very important to discourage people from carrying out these actions. When you break into a dorm, when you destroy property, when you harass students and menace them, we need to move forward in an aggressive fashion to send a long shroud message. Long. I'm sorry, a strong loud message that this is not going to be tolerated. The last round of Columbia, Hamilton hall, violent takeover, takeover charges were all dropped by Alvin Bragg. So good for his honor the mayor. So on the topic of the long time history of far left Marxists, you know, radicals joining with Islamists to accomplish various things. I'm not going to like bore you with the history, but it's, it's a purely transactional. I want to tear down the system. You want to tear down the system. Let's get together and tear down the system together for a while. Even though in the case of Like American far lefties, the Islamists would throw them off a tower the moment they got power. But still there's this weird, unholy nexus between them. Nellie Bowles writing in the the Free Press. Here are some things that are definitely not anti Semitism. She says sarcastically. The Democratic Socialists of America Liberation Caucus has announced its support for Ilyas Rodriguez, the man who slaughtered two Israeli embassy staffers outside DC's Capitol Jewish Museum last week. That's right. The Democratic Socialists of America have announced their support from their website. Excellent statement that we are proud to add to our name. To free Elias, Elias Rodriguez and all political prisoners. The Palestinian struggle is the tip of the spear against global imperialism.
Guest
I heard somebody make the point yesterday that democrats, more than any other group, support Ukraine and think Russia's in the wrong. But you don't see anybody going around harassing or killing Russians.
Michael
Right? Right. Yeah. So keeping in mind that this Elias Rodriguez shot down the young man and after being shot, Sarah Milgram struggled to crawl away. He walked over and executed her at point bl. Blank range. Okay.
Guest
Horrifying.
Michael
This is the anti Semitic demon that the Democratic Socialists of America have chosen to lionize. Here is the statement they are proud to add their name to. The Palestinian struggle is the tip of the spear against global imperialism. As imperialism has made the entire world its battlefield, it is justified to fight by any means necessary, without regard for geography. This holds especially true for those of us struggling behind enemy lines inside the us on an identity that is equal party. In all crimes committed by the Zionists, whether in the besieged Gaza Strip, the Red Sea, the south of Lebanon or the heart of the us, there must be consequences for genocidal Zionist imperialism and those consequences are righteous.
Guest
Okay, that's. That makes my point perfectly and I don't want this to happen. But then. So why aren't you targeting Russians? It's the same. It's same imperialism trying to take over a nearby country. Just because you're bigger and you want to take it in your mind, I would assume. But you know, you're not, you're not shooting Russians. No, it's because they're Jews.
Michael
Why don't you just admit it? Well, and you know, I think that's part of it. And a lot of the useful idiot, loudmouthed, usually women screeching in the streets is just that. The, the. The would be radical. The angry young man, angry young woman rarely makes a lot of sense. Their anger is their argument and they just go back to that over and over again. So going on, let's See chance of resistance, chance of I'm sorry, resistance is justified are becoming all the rage in Chicago. Michael, let's. What is that, 35?
Sponsor
We don't want no Tuesday.
Guest
We don't want no Tuesday.
Michael
We want all of 48. All right, so the angry, screeching young woman.
Guest
We don't want no tube steaks.
Michael
Two states. Everybody wants a tube steak, Jack. And resistance is justified. Chanting in Chicago. By the way, for the record, a permit is generally required for events like marches or parades that block traffic, rallies using sound amplifying devices or large rallies in parks or plaza plazas. Did these people get a permit to rally for the extermination of Jews in Chicago? And if so, what the hell is the city of Chicago doing? Uh, and the major anti Zionist protest group, Unity of Fields is officially transitioning into, quote, a militant front against the U. S. NATO Zionist axis of imperialism. Some of you people, and you're fine folks, you think me ranting about neo Marxist radicals is like some sort of cold warrior paranoia? No. They are trying to overthrow Western civilization and its systems. And again, this group, major anti Zionist group, Unity of Fields transitioned into a militant front against the US NATO Zionist axis of imperialism. Militant means their plan is to kill more. So anyone who has ever said the Passover prayer that ends with next year in Jerusalem, well, we're all fair game. The killings are anti Zionism, though, not antisemitism. Writes mainstream lefty thinkers. I'm quoting Nelly Bowles here. It just happens to be that Judaism keeps bringing up Israel. Have you considered not saying prayers? And a leader of the Palestine rites festival is posting how there is no such thing as the Jewish people. You learn new things every day.
Guest
But how would you. Obviously the we don't want no two states means Israel has to go away.
Michael
Yeah? Oh yeah, absolutely. They are 100% down with Hamas.
Guest
And where the. Where are the people who live there supposed to be at that point?
Michael
Anywhere but here. But they know they will have to be killed. The Jews will have to be killed. So any argument that these angry leftist marchers, screamers, demonstrators on college campuses, the people who are occupying various halls, any argument that they just want the Palestinian babies to get their medicine is utterly dishonest. These people are smart. They're calculating. One of their strategies is to cloak their real purpose in much more innocent sounding goals. They know what they're doing. They are radicals bent on destroying the U.S. and well, in NATO and Israel and also capitalism. Take them at their word, folks.
Guest
So what is. What was the first part of the chant. I didn't catch it. Probably doesn't matter, but you play the very beginning again. What was the first? I didn't get what. The first possible. Yeah, what was that?
Michael
Liberation's possible.
Guest
Okay, that's good.
Jack Armstrong
Michael.
Michael
We don't want no two states. They're calling for the killing of the Jews. Globalize the intifada.
Guest
And what other group could you come within 10 miles of that sort of thing and get away with it in the United States?
Michael
Name any group.
Guest
Right. It's amazing that this is occurring in the year 2025.
Michael
It's less amazing when you consider how long this stuff's been taught in our schools and universities, this worldview. And Jack, you actually, I think you may have hit me with this notion for the first time that these. All these young people who have been indoctrinated, steeped in this neo Marxist philosophy of the victim oppressor thing, anti colonialism, the settler, colonial oppression, blah blah, blah. It's just been crap they learned from their professors for a long time. And what are you going to get out of class and take on the United States? You're going to go. Go to Washington D.C. and start pulling down all those pillars of. And what are you. What are you going to do? You can't do anything. And so they think, wait a minute, wait a minute.
Sponsor
Israel.
Michael
There's a fight going on there. Israel's not that huge. They're surrounded by enemies. Yes. I'm going to advocate for the downfall of Israel to prove that I'm carrying out my professor's teachings. So everybody's hot to trot for Israel. Even though if your problem is Muslims dying unjustifiably, look to Yemen. The numbers there dwarf anything that's happened in Gaza. Dwarfs it. It's been a horror. But you got zero effing college kids demonstrating against the slaughter in Yemen. Why? Because there's not a handy oppressor class to target your upper middle class. Ivy League anger at people are pathetic. You're so transparent. God.
Guest
So moving away from anger toward a chuckle. We'll do a late night joke off. Coming up as a whole bunch of the late night comedians who are back at work took on Elon Musk. And we'll check that out among other things on the way. Stay here.

Yes, I hate that. I hate the turn against Elon Musk because he got involved in politics. I got somebody gave me a thumbs down yesterday. Guy on a motorcycle rode in front of me. Thumbs give me the big thumbs down because I was in my cyber truck.
Michael
Of my motor transportation. I wish, I wish I could have.
Guest
A conversation with these people. So should I have not purchased this or sold it once or what? What in your world, how should I be handling this?
Michael
I mean, other than a Harley. If I were to Drive a Chevy, for instance. Shall I go into the history of General Motors or Ford? What would you suggest, friend? Just not that. Cause Elon sucks, he'd say.
Guest
But I hate the anti Elon Musk stuff and I think the whole Elon and Trump breaking up thing is way overblown. Way overblown as a story.
Michael
Having said that, it's time for a late night joke off. We have three comedians making jokes on the same topic. I, Joe Getty, will rate them for the quality of their jokes. The bottom grade getter will be banned from comedy for life. Michael, hit it. Elon Musk last week announced that he is leaving the Trump administration. Wow. He usually doesn't announce when he's leaving. Said his kids fair game. Elon Musk has officially left the federal government and he showed up to his farewell event in the Oval Office with a black eye. Elon claims the bruise was the result of his kid punching him while they were horsing around. One of his kids punched him, which narrows it down to about 100 suspects. Is your eye okay?
Jack Armstrong
What happened to your eye?
Michael
I noticed there's a bruise there. No, I was just fussing around with Lelex and I said, go ahead, punch me in the face. And you did.
Guest
So you're not gonna tell us what happened?
Jack Armstrong
Do you need a safe place to stay?
Joe Getty
Look, I believe sometimes do happen when.
Guest
You'Re roughhousing with your kids, but I'm also sure the one sentence no parent has ever uttered to their child is.
Michael
Go ahead, punch me in.
Guest
If your kid's little enough. Yeah, I've probably said that.
Michael
Yeah. Myers and Fallon, both with solid Bs. John Stewart's attempt at some sort of Nate Bargazi style. Not a clear punchline, just a commentary. See, at best, Jon Stewart, only working one day a week, is now banned from comedy for life.
Guest
Often the stories suggested it was, you know, really something that Elon Musk was leaving. His time was up. His 130 days or whatever that he was allowed to work was up. He had to quit. It was part of the deal. You remember? No.
Michael
Right, right. And I'm trying to. We had a news clip saying, what is the future of Doge now that Elon is departing? And it's like, I can't believe Brett Baer was the only person who interviewed those half dozen absolutely brilliant guys who were the, the, the gears, the actual machinery of Doge, who are still on the job doing amazing things. And it ought to be something all of us agree on, but it's become Only about Elon Musk. Cuz we've got to have a hero or a villain and it's gotta be one person. It's gotta be incredibly simple, one or the other. It's just. I don't, I don't know. Democracy doesn't work. Not anymore.
Guest
I wonder what's gonna happen to Tesla. I just saw in France sales are down 70% year over because of the tie to Trump. Well, I assume so, yeah. I mean, I assume that's why I get flipped off or thumbs down. And the town I live in is like the most electric car town in America. Might literally be. I wonder if, wonder how long that damage will last if forever. You realize you may have killed off the only electric car company that was making a dentist in electric cars in the US anyway. Yeah. Oh yeah. China's got their own thing.
Michael
Yeah, yeah. There are definitely places where the Trump brand is poison. You know, tourism is way down because of, you know, the various trade rough and tumble.
Jack Armstrong
Yeah.

Ukraine's astonishing and unprecedented drone attacks on military airfields all across Russia. Ukraine's Operation Spiderweb kept secret for more than a year and as for now, any end to this war look long way off.
Michael
Negotiations between Russia and Ukraine and Istanbul.
Joe Getty
Ending quickly and with no breakthroughs.
Guest
Those containers, shipping containers that were trucked clear across Russia, that is still a bit of a mystery. How they got trucked across and you know why? Why would Ukraine tell us? But how in the hell did they drive trucks 3,000 miles to one airfield? 3,000 miles. That's the length of the United States to blow Up a third of Russia's.
Michael
Long distance aircraft, including one base that Jack has referred to that it was virtually in Siberia. I mean, just a world away. It's amazing. We have more information on that. I just want to comment real quick on the Marsh, the Martha Raditz piece because I saw coverage on a couple of different networks that said roughly the same thing. There were no breakthroughs or very little progress was reported. You know, Trump's so proud of being able to make a deal. Oh, the peace talks.
Guest
That's funny, I don't even hear the peace talk commentary. It just goes, I don't even like, doesn't even register with me because I think it's all phony.
Michael
Well, right, exactly. But Trump's a great deal maker and he's made some fabulous deals especially, you know. Well, anyway, don't want to get off on that tangent, but you've got, you know, he knows hotels in New York. All right, so you got one guy says, I want to buy your hotel, I'll give you $10. And the other guy says, I wouldn't sell this hotel in a million years for $50 million. Oh, okay. So there was no breakthrough. No, there was no basis for a deal whatsoever. There was nobody at the table looking for a deal. They were going through the motions for some reason.
Guest
Well, what does it mean? Is this just a coincidence? So the so called peace talks. Zelensky wants peace talks. I mean he said he would show up there in Istanbul a couple of weeks ago if Putin would and Rubio is going to. So Zelensky wants peace talks. The every weekend Russia has launched the biggest attacks of the war. This last weekend it was 400 some drones, a hundred more than the previous record from two weeks ago. An attack on and at the same time Ukraine launches there by far biggest attack on Russia where they took out a third of their long range bombers. And to this morning they blew up that bridge head, then Crimea again. So now Russia is going to have to rebuild it before they can get troops and ammunition and everything into Ukraine.
Michael
But we have to rewind your statement that Zelensky wants peace talks. Zelinsky wants peace talks so he can demonstrate to Trump. Yeah, I'm willing to talk peace, but he has no interest in it. So there I went through the motions. Now can I have some weapons please?
Guest
But why, why are they both launching their biggest attacks of the war?
Michael
Is that just in an attempt to win it? I think it's as simple as that.
Guest
Nothing to do with forcing the peace talks.
Michael
I don't Think so. Although Zelinsky does have motivation for actual peace talks. But he's made it clear over and over again to the point that J.D. vance hijacked a meeting and started yelling at the guy that, you know, he's trying to make the point. Vladimir Putin is not sincere, he's not engaging and he has no desire for peace. Anyway, to the whole trucking thing, this is fairly breaking ish news. Ukraine surprise attack dubbed Operation Spider Web. The Kremlin authorities are hunting for artem Timofeev, a 37 year old former Ukrainian DJ who they say owns a trucking company. And at least one of the trucks involved with the trucking of the drones around the country was from his company.
Guest
I don't know if I believe it. I've never known a DJ who owned anything.
Michael
Well, he's a former dj, Jack. He moved on in life. But they both, he and his 34 year old cutie wife who moonlights as an erotic novelist.
Guest
What's that?
Michael
Is believed to have aided him. She writes erotic novels. All right, 50 Shades of Kiev or whatever. And so they're hunting for this guy and his wife. Jack, I suggest that to get to the bottom of the story, you study up on Russian trucking and I will read the erotic.
Guest
No, but to the whole, you brought up J.D. vance in the Oval Office meeting and you don't have the cards. Will Brit Humon Fox addressed that whole issue yesterday.
Michael
It certainly does establish that this country whose president was being told at the White House that he didn't have any cards to play, that he apparently has quite a few cards to play, including this daring attack which, you know, if the Ukrainians can vote, we believe wiped out about 30 to 40% of Russia's strategic bombing force. That's a major setback for Russia. It is an embarrassing intelligence failure and an embarrassing defense failure and who knows what else the Ukrainians who prove pretty ingenious may have up their sleeves.
Guest
So they have some cards, as has been pointed out, a bunch of places, many of these aircraft, hundreds of millions of dollars of damage done for hundreds of dollars of drones. But many of these aircraft aren't being built anymore. There aren't any parts for the ones they need to fix, the ones that are heavily damaged. Very unlikely they're going to be able to get them off the ground. And as we pointed out earlier, four of those aircraft were part of the squadron that flew around in the air protecting Moscow in particular from missile attacks, drone attacks, that sort of stuff. They were an eye in the sky. They were A defense. They no longer have the ability to do 247 surveillance of Moscow with those planes. It's a big deal.
Michael
So getting back to your really rude joke about DJs not owning anything. This guy and his wife were both Ukrainians living in Russia for a number of years, but he started his trucking company a year ago.
Guest
Well, this is really like the pager Hezbollah attack.
Michael
Yeah.
Guest
And that they, you know, they got that supply line going for a long time up in Germany, and they had companies there and that whole thing.
Michael
Exactly. So this dude, I'm guessing, or his cutie wife, reaches out to Ukrainian intelligence and says, hey, we're patriots. We live in Russia. My husband's got a couple of trucks. He's got a small trucking company or whatever. They get financed to expand that trucking company a year ago. Because this has been in the works for at least a year. Right.
Guest
Year and a half, according to. According to Zelensky.
Michael
And if this is true. Indeed, it's easy to see the outlines of it. These two Ukrainian patriots said, yeah, we'll help any way we can. And they truck the drones around Russia with domestic licenses and the rest of it.
Guest
Wow. And then dropped off these containers at various places and people just didn't notice or whatever. I guess that container is supposed to be there.
Michael
And you can picture a part of every town in America where nobody is notice a couple of, you know, a few pallets worth of crap.
Guest
Yeah, exactly. And then the lids open up automatically and out come the drones and blow up all the planes at various airfields across the country. And in one particular instance, the containers were right next to the FSB headquarters Zelinsky bragged about over the weekend, which.
Michael
Is something I hope we, the US of A. Are staffing three shifts round the clock working on our anti attack drone technology.
Guest
No kidding. China could do this. Probably wouldn't blow up airplanes, although they might, but certainly could blow up power grids and dams or whatever infrastructure.

And as we've discussed, could be North Korea, Iran, a cartel, a criminal gang, you know, trend Aragua, two weirdo incel nut jobs.
Guest
Right. It is a major change in warfare. According to every military expert that I've read or listened to. This is a major moment in the history of war they likened it to. I was reading last night. It was a World War II thing. Where up until that point it wasn't believed that planes could sink a ship that was at sea. It had never happened before. You just couldn't bring the firepower on a moving ship at sea. That Far from your base to sink a ship. It was impossible. Then Japanese planes sank two British ships that were headed there to defend Singapore early in World War II. And Winston Churchill. I should have hung onto the quote, because I was reading this last night, very dramatic quote of this changes everything going forward in the history of the world. Now that ships can't just, you know, travel wherever they want and be unsinkable. Well, this is that big a deal, according to a lot of military experts on the whole drone thing.
Michael
And at the same time, our mighty warships and the ones that China is so diligently building may soon be pretty obsolete.
Guest
All right, and then there's the discussion of Trump's golden dome. Okay, so you defend yourself against intercontinental ballistic missiles bringing in nukes or whatever. It doesn't matter if you got a bunch of containers in the country letting drones loose, flying 50ft off the ground.
Michael
Yeah, maybe we need the golden dome and like, big mesh fences, like we're running a driving range next to a golf course or something like that. I mean, goodness knows the. I could see the intersection of the lowest of tech and the highest of tech to ward off these drones.
Guest
Right. So I guess already, obviously, in Russia, they're stopping, like, every truck in the country, which, you know, is one benefit in that you just disrupt society too much. That would take a lot of manpower. That would slow down all kinds of different shipping. I wonder what we're going to do in this country with thousands of containers coming in from China or all over the place. The hope aren't full of drones about to be shipped across the country.
Michael
And other than the utterly useless checkpoint coming into California from various states. You have any bananas? They ask, ask you if you have any fresh fruit or, like, plants.
Guest
No. Okay. You look honest.
Michael
You don't have checkpoints between states in the United States. I mean, the idea of cracking down on this, it's. It's nigh on impossible. So, yeah, it changes everything.
Guest
My kids find that Solar ace. I still do. When I went to pick up my cyber truck in Reno, driving back, I got the. I got. Had to drive through. You got any bananas? No, do you?
Michael
Why? You hungry? I got a live jaguar in the back, but other than that, no, nothing.
Guest
A machine gun and a whole bunch of drones that could blow up a dam, but no bananas. Okay.
Michael
I got a bunch of non.

Guest
Rand Paul, your leaves are on my.
Michael
Get out of my way. Let it go. Let it go. I just accidentally closed a tab that I was really anxious to talk about. Oh, here it. Okay. Ron Johnson, the senator from Wisconsin, unleashed a screed recently. Oh, that's the wrong one. Damn it. About the so called big beautiful bill. And, and I wish I had the verbiage in front of me, but he is my new hero. He has said, look, I know this is unpopular, I know my colleagues are angry at me, but I am not going to pretend for another second that we're not doing exactly the wrong thing here. We can't grow the deficit anymore. We can't do it to the kids and grandkids. I won't. It guy's a hero.
Guest
Well, let's see how he votes. So I'd not thought about this before. Jonah Goldberg had an interesting screed the other day about he doesn't know if he believes any of these people, like who's the guy from Texas who's one of the standouts in the house for being Chip Roy? Chip Roy. He said, Chip Roy always makes all these noises about being a fiscal conservative and we can't do it and blah blah, blah blah blah. And then he always votes for it, says this is the last time, can't do it. But because of this, because of that. And, and that's one example, there's lots of them do it and he just, and Jonah was wondering, and I wonder myself, how many of them that's just what you got to be in that district. And the speaker, whoever it is at the time in this case, Mike Johnson says, make all the noise you want to make. Say you're a no vote up until the last second. Do whatever you got to do to hang on to that seat, and then you vote yes and it passes. I have seen that so many times in my lifetime of watching this, including Rand Paul, sometimes where they're just up until the left, and then you hear you voted yes, and then it just kind of goes away and it passes.
Michael
Michael, give me 73. I have a defense for those fellows. But first, this is Mike Johnson, the Speaker of the House. I am a fiscal hawk. Many of my Republican colleagues in the House feel the same way, but it did not. We didn't get in this situation overnight, Kristen. It took us decades, many decades of Congress's, frankly, mismanagement of the public fisc to get in this situation. And the last four years, the Biden administration increased spending dramatically. So it's going to take us a while to get out of it. Yeah, there's truth to that. I hate to, you know, admit that the defense I would offer for those guys is that there are two strategies you can follow. You can either say, I'm not voting for it. I'm not voting for it unless I get this, and then you don't vote for it, or you get everything, you can drag it out as long as you can, then agree. All right, I'll give you my vote. I guess this is all I can get, but I'm going to be back and try again next time. It's. It's a similar process. The, the problem with what, what Jonah Goldberg, who I think has lost his mind lately. But anyway, he's very smart guy. The problem with his strategy is that you really, you're kind of punching your caucus in the face, and you might. The next time those negotiations happen, you won't be able to get anything.
Guest
Well, what are we getting now? We just keep going further in debt.
Michael
I'm not gonna argue with that. So let's see. I'm saying things that people know need to be said. Said Johnson, the kid who just exposed that the King is butt naked may not be real popular because he was kind of made everybody else look like fools, but they all recognize he was right. He said in the Senate, I'd like to think at least that my colleagues respect my passion, my genuine desire to do the right thing, to fix these problems. Takes issue with his GOP colleagues, claims that economic Growth from the new tax cut will reign in the deficit. He says no. The official scorekeepers who say it'll expand are right. He said he appreciates that Trump's ideas, like no tax on overtime are directed toward working men and women. But there's nothing growth incentivizing about his tax proposals.
Guest
Well, I've heard some stuff about the no tax on overtime, how difficult that's going to. Or not the no taxes on tips, how difficult that's going to be in real life. Like I've got a. Well, let's use somebody else, not me. If you had a gardener or sitter that you pay cash, and if you were doing what you're supposed to do with the 1099s and the tax and all, why wouldn't you just call everything a tip? Tip? What's stopping you from saying, yeah, nice job on the yard. Here's a, here's a $200 is a tip, right?
Michael
Here's your five dollar fee and $200 tip.
Guest
Right?
Michael
Right. Yeah. Plus, you know, if you look at. All right, so you got a guy doling out slop there at the Chili's, you got a guy Dolan out slop at the, the, I don't know, your higher end burger joint. Five guys say their jobs are almost the same, but one generally is tipped and the other generally is not. Why is the one person get taxed significantly less than the other person if their incomes are substantially the same for doing almost the same job? It's a silly idea. Trump said it so he'd win Nevada.
Guest
That's it.
Michael
Everybody knows it.
Guest
Correct?
Michael
Yeah. Well, that was my three minutes for fiscal sanity. Now I'll shut up.

Michael
U.S. open qualifying.
Guest
Oh, okay.
Michael
The beautiful thing about the U.S. open, it's one of the four biggest tournaments on earth every year. But it's a true Open tournament. You can qualify for it. You go through regionals and everything. And there's this UPS driver. You play 36 holes in this one part of qualifying. He finished his first 18 holes. Then he goes to get a hot dog because he's got to play another 18 holes and you're walking it. And he realizes 20 minutes after his round is over, he reaches for his wallet, he realizes his scorecard is still in his pocket. He did not sign it within the five minute limit or whatever. Disqualified. Even though he was, he was going to qualify.
Guest
Oh, that hurts.

Armstrong & Getty On Demand: "We Don't Want No Tube Steaks!" – Detailed Summary
Release Date: June 3, 2025
Host: Jack Armstrong & Joe Getty
Publisher: iHeartPodcasts
In the "We Don't Want No Tube Steaks!" episode of Armstrong & Getty On Demand, hosts Jack Armstrong and Joe Getty delve into pressing societal and political issues, blending their characteristic humor with sharp commentary. This summary captures the essence of their discussion, highlighting key points, notable quotes, and the overarching themes addressed throughout the episode.
Timeframe: 03:07 - 08:18
The episode opens with a heated debate on the nature of the Free Palestine movement, which hosts characterize as a domestic terror organization. Addressing recent violent incidents in Washington and Colorado, Armstrong asserts:
"The rise of anti-Semitism in America... is now willing to act on it. And if we don't deal with it, these kinds of things are going to keep happening in cities, all over the place." ([03:07])
Getty counters, acknowledging the complexity but emphasizing the violent faction within the movement:
"There's absolutely a branch of the pro-Palestine movement that is willing to kill at this point... they are radicals bent on destroying the U.S." ([03:50])
The discussion touches upon the involvement of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), citing Nellie Bowles from The New York Times who highlights the DSA's controversial support for individuals involved in violent acts. This segment underscores the hosts' concern over the intersection of far-left ideologies and extremist actions.
Timeframe: 06:42 - 12:19
Armstrong and Getty critique what they perceive as double standards in political and social activism. Armstrong questions the absence of similar harassment or violence against Russians, juxtaposing it with the targeted aggression against Jewish individuals. Getty reinforces this by pointing out the selective outrage and the underlying motives tied to anti-Semitic sentiments.
A significant moment occurs when Armstrong references a DSA statement:
"The Palestinian struggle is the tip of the spear against global imperialism... there must be consequences for genocidal Zionist imperialism." ([07:39])
This quote exemplifies their argument about the conflation of political movements with extremist ideologies, raising concerns about the broader implications for societal harmony and safety.
Timeframe: 13:00 - 23:54
The conversation shifts to the historical and present-day alliances between far-left Marxists and Islamists. Armstrong likens their collaboration to a "transactional" effort aimed at dismantling existing systems. He draws parallels to past alliances, noting the inherent instability and ultimate betrayal once power dynamics shift.
Key points include:
Getty adds depth by questioning the lack of similar movements opposing other nationalities, emphasizing perceived hypocrisy in selective activism.
Timeframe: 42:33 - 48:18
Transitioning from social issues, Armstrong and Getty explore the U.S. debt ceiling debate. They critique Senator Ron Johnson's stance against increasing the debt ceiling, despite its potential economic repercussions. Armstrong lauds Johnson's honesty:
"He is my new hero. He has said... 'We can't grow the deficit anymore. We can't do it to the kids and grandkids.'" ([43:36])
The hosts analyze the political maneuvering surrounding fiscal policies, highlighting the tension between short-term political gains and long-term economic stability. They discuss Representative Chip Roy's fiscal conservatism juxtaposed with voting behaviors that contradict stated principles, illustrating the complexities and contradictions within political accountability.
Timeframe: 27:33 - 38:57
A significant portion of the episode is dedicated to the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict. Armstrong and Getty discuss Ukraine's "Operation Spiderweb," a series of drone attacks targeting Russian military airfields. They express astonishment at Ukraine's strategic advancements:
"Ukraine's Operation Spiderweb... any end to this war looks a long way off." ([27:33])
Key discussions include:
Timeframe: 14:30 - 39:02
Injecting their trademark humor, Armstrong and Getty engage in a "Late-Night Joke Off," focusing on contemporary pop culture topics. They critique the portrayal of figures like Elon Musk in media and comedy, blending satire with sharp observations.
Highlights include:
"We Don't Want No Tube Steaks!" encapsulates Armstrong and Getty's blend of incisive political commentary and humor. From dissecting extremist movements and fiscal policies to analyzing modern warfare and societal hypocrisies, the episode offers listeners a comprehensive exploration of current events through the hosts' distinctive lens. Their ability to intertwine serious discussions with levity ensures an engaging and thought-provoking experience for their audience.
