You have to nail down the foundational environment. You can't get healthy in a moldy home. You can't get healthy in a home that's full of chemicals that are releasing toxic gases everywhere. And you can't get healthy in an environment where you're constantly pulsed by WiFi, radiation, cell phone radiation, radio towers, the electricity pulsing you from the walls, like right next to where you're sleeping. Some people are sleeping right on the other side of their electrical box, and there's a huge magnetic field that's pulsing back and forth 120 times per second. And all their cells are feeling that on this micro level. So there's just a lot of environmental factors that once you get those in place and your body is free of those stressors, then a lot of times you break through to the next level of healing.

If you're a parent of a child with autism, you are being called to rise with love, courage, and clarity. This journey isn't easy and most parents aren't equipped, but you can be. This podcast is your invitation to rise higher because how you navigate matters. I'm Len, and this is Autism Parenting Secrets, where you become the parent your child needs now. Hello and welcome to Autism Parenting Secrets. Today we're welcoming back someone who's played a huge role in helping families create healthier spaces for their kids. Brian Hoyer is the founder and CEO of Shielded Healing. It's a company that specializes in identifying and reducing hidden environmental stressors in the home, especially EMFs, core wiring, and other invisible factors that overload the nervous system. Brian has spent years studying functional health, nutrition, and ancestral living. He's trained with leading building biologists around the world, and his team has now performed thousands of in home assessments, helping families transform their bedrooms, living spaces, and entire homes into environments that actually support healing instead of working against it. What I love about Brian is that how he is incredibly practical and grounded in his approach. He's not here to scare anyone. He's here to empower parents with simple changes that can dramatically improve sleep, behavior, mood, and regulation. And the secret this week is a regulated nervous system starts at home. Welcome back, Brian.

Yeah, it's great to be here. I love how your audience and your whole brand has kind of expanded and you're deepening the topics that you talk about over the years. I mean, the last time I think I did it was like several years ago I did an interview with you and you just keep going and keep going deeper and keep helping more families and reaching more people. So I love what you're doing with your audience, and I'm really happy to be back.

Great. Well, hey, I think we're both on similar missions, help solving different problems. But again, I think the people who listen to this podcast know that more is possible for their child, know that a lot of, you know, what's known about what can help a child on the spectrum or with any kind of chronic condition is this toxic load. Right. There's a tipping point. And basically, the more a parent can remove those stressors for their child and for their entire family, things can shift dramatically. So you're a unique way that I know you're committed to helping to raise awareness. And also coming up with solutions is a real powerful move for parents to make if they have that greater awareness as to, well, how is this impacting my child? Because whatever your diagnosis is, whether it's autism, adhd, those are all kind of symptoms, and it comes down to what's behind it. And this concept of a dysregulated nervous system is where so many people are focusing. And again, I think that's why this conversation is so timely. Especially in the holiday season. People have a lot of Christmas lights, a lot of decorations, and the idea of, you know, what's in your home and what's that toxic load from an EMF perspective is very much overlooked, I think, by a lot of parents. So what would you share, bottom line, to explain to parents why focusing here makes a lot of sense?
