Bailey
Hello, Malcolm Glabel here.
Bowen Yang
We're here in New York City with T Mobile for business recording another episode of Revisionist history about how 5G network slicing strengthens trust and connections across worldwide industries.
Susan
Slicing can be used for so many different things. We're here with our friends from cnn from Siemens Energy. The ways that it can be used, frankly, are limitless and are really, really built to think through. How can T mobile understand the pain points that our customers have? Smash those pain points and help you deliver very specific outcomes. Welcome back to Bachelor happy hour's golden hour. Thanks so much for joining us today. Susan, how are you? Are you still freezing down there?
Kathy
It's not only cold, it's the aches and pains from shoveling. I'm telling you, I have two sons that didn't show up.
Susan
Oh. So I'm in Austin, staying still at my daughter's house, and we've. All we have is ice and we have no salt and no plows. So I'm in this to come. But thank God for vodka. It doesn't freeze.
Kathy
Today's gonna be a good day because we have two very special guests returning to golden hour. Please welcome from season 10 of Paradise, Bailey and Jeremy. Hi, guys.
Susan
Welcome.
Bailey
Hi, guys.
Susan
It's so good to see you. I gotta say that both of your smiles, I loved you on paradise. But Bailey, if it's even possible, you have gotten prettier. And Jeremy, you don't have resting bitch face anymore. You've got a smile on your face.
Kathy
Totally different face every day.
Jeremy
You would tell me to smile more, so I do it just for you.
Susan
I know. I love. You're so handsome. You are so handsome. So thank you for smiling.
Kathy
You just look so much more comfortable in your own skin right now.
Susan
You're glowing, Bailey. Bailey's glowing.
Bailey
Oh, am I? It might be our. It might be the ring light that I, like, put on, but still, I've been. It might be my boyfriend.
Susan
All right, well, let's just say first of all, I truly am really happy to see both of you guys. I spent a lot of time with you on in paradise and I love you both, but there's so much we want to discuss. We're just gonna get.
Kathy
I know we have a million questions.
Susan
My first one is how has life changed for you guys since leaving paradise together? I know it's a big question.
Jeremy
I mean, obviously we are in a great relationship now, so that's makes life a million times better. But I think on a day to day, it's pretty much the same.
Bailey
Yeah.
Kathy
But we're living together, right?
Bailey
Yeah. So, yeah, we're back. I'm back and forth between New York And Atlanta, we. I do have a closet. We have a closet going on. So I have stuff in the closet. I have lots, lots of my stuff here. Actually, I'll have to send you guys photos so you can see just how I have here. But I feel like, yeah, I feel like we have enjoyed life so much more after the show together and just, you know, being able to spend time.
Kathy
With in real time, that's, you know, you're not in that bubble and you're.
Bailey
Not in a bubbly.
Susan
Yeah.
Bailey
After the show aired, it just feels like things have calmed down and I feel like now we just enjoy.
Susan
So tell me, how is your relationship grown? Because obviously you two enjoy each other. How. But how's your relationship actually grown?
Bailey
I mean, I feel like. Yeah, I'll. I'll take it. I'll take it. I feel like as far as. How's it grown, I just feel like every day we. I mean, I feel like the whole point of it is like every day you just like fall more in love. You know what I mean? We're learning more things about each other now. We've fully met families. We did holidays. We got to like surprise his grandparents for Hanukkah night one, which was like so amazing. We just happened to be in Florida for the first night of Hanukkah. So that was really cool because that was my first like Hanukkah ever. And honestly, I haven't gotten to meet his grandparents yet, so I feel like that was really awesome. And then, yeah, we fully met families and then he came to Georgia and we did all Christmas in Atlanta and we did a bunch of kooky things with my family and we've just been like, busy.
Jeremy
We've spent like, we always together.
Bailey
We spend almost.
Jeremy
We've essentially been in like a five year relationship at this point.
Bailey
Yeah, like, sometimes I forget that we haven't been dating for years. I feel like paradise moves things along very quickly. And then I feel the biggest thing for us is after paradise has really just been like spending time together and I mean, feel like we kind of did really get to know each other really well and inside and out, but like just, you know, reconfirming like, you know, everything else. So it's been.
Kathy
That looks perfect to me. I mean, the galaxy, I gotta say.
Susan
Yeah. You guys look very. And like I said, I knew you from the beginning. You look so comfortable together.
Bailey
I think we're really comfortable. I think that was one thing we did on paradise that it wasn't really shown, but we spent so much time like, sitting in silence with each other, I think when our brains were kind of just, like, fried after some of the challenges. So I feel like we just actually really enjoy spending a lot of time together. And we really do. Like, we just.
Kathy
Do you get along?
Coldwater Creek Advertiser
Yeah.
Bailey
Yeah. We just. We really like to do a lot of the same things, so I feel like that's been really nice. Because anytime that we can work together.
Kathy
What'S the most that you're apart? Like, when you go back to Atlanta, is it.
Jeremy
Yeah. Or like, someone will need to travel to another place.
Bailey
Yeah.
Jeremy
I think the longest we were apart was for, like, three weeks back in, like, September to October.
Bailey
Yeah. I was in China, so in Abu Dhabi, so I was, like, away from work. That was long. And the time zones. That was really rough.
Susan
Yeah.
Bailey
And I was just tired.
Jeremy
We're usually not apart.
Bailey
Yeah. We really do try to spend.
Kathy
I love this.
Susan
It's amazing. So tell me, like, in 30 seconds or less, give me an average day. What does it look like for you two together?
Bailey
Like, weekday or weekend?
Susan
I don't care. Pick a day.
Bailey
You know, he's back at work, so he's at work during the day. So if we're here in New York, he wakes up super early, like, 5am and then he goes to the gym. He sits, drinks coffee. And then I. He wakes me up after he comes back from the gym and then try to, like, sit on the couch until, you know, he gets ready to go to work and just spend that morning with each other. And then he goes to work. I usually here. I try to do Pilates, but I haven't really been doing that that much. And then, yeah, I'm usually just, like, working from home. And then we come home with each other and meet back dinner around five. Yeah, we do dinner. I don't cook, though, so he usually.
Susan
That's why I love you, Bailey. I. We share that in common. Wait, Jeremy, I have a question. Are you working full. She doesn't cook. Are you working full time in New York now?
Bailey
Work?
Jeremy
Yeah, I've always been working full time.
Susan
But you're not. But you don't travel for work. No. No. Yeah.
Kathy
What kind of work do you do?
Jeremy
Real estate. Property management.
Kathy
Okay. Yep.
Susan
You're just in the city, right?
Jeremy
Just in the city. Been here a while now. Might be time to leave.
Bailey
I know he's kind of ready to.
Susan
Get out of the city, so that. Oh, they're reading my mind. So we're gonna get to, like, the future, but would you two ever consider. I don't know, like, move to, let's say, Atlanta. Like, are you guys thinking about moving somewhere?
Jeremy
I mean, I think at, like, currently, at this point in time, there's so much unknown. We're kind of just playing it day by day. I think we're both open and moving to a few places. I'm kind of sick of New York, to be honest. It's obviously better with her and going to events and stuff, but.
Susan
Yeah.
Jeremy
Somewhere warm.
Bailey
Yeah.
Kathy
Are you in the city?
Jeremy
Yeah, I'm in the city.
Susan
Well, let me just tell you. I would tell you to move to Austin, but it's about 26 degrees out right now, so, you know, maybe not.
Bailey
I feel like we do really like Atlanta, and I love, like, my neighborhood that I grew up.
Susan
Atlanta's fabulous.
Bailey
Oh, I love Atlanta. I love my house. Like, honestly, in a few years, like, nobody's gonna live in my house, so I don't know. We could always. That's kind of. I feel like our backup plan, but I feel like would really like to have good weather and just, like, more sunshine.
Susan
Yeah.
Kathy
And maybe just got to get out of the city.
Bailey
Yeah. Maybe just a little bit more room and.
Susan
Do you see a lot of bachelor people in New York City that live there?
Jeremy
Sorry, what was it?
Susan
Do you see a lot of the. Any of the bachelor folks who live in New York City?
Jeremy
Yeah, I mean, we see Dying and Charity a lot.
Bailey
Yeah.
Dr. Jake Goodman
Yeah.
Jeremy
And obviously, a lot of people come and visit. There were a few who, like, moved out of New York. Yeah.
Bailey
Yeah.
Jeremy
I'm trying to think of who else.
Bailey
I just saw Zoe and Seraphina. So I just had dinner with Seraphina. It was actually supposed to be me, Zoe, Lexi, and Seraphina, but trips come up, things come up. So, yeah, I feel like keep up with a lot of our friends, but I feel like we're all kind of, like, spread out, so it's like, kind of. But anytime we do end up, like, going to a few events a week, and I feel like that's where we usually end up running into our friends.
Kathy
And then, like, there's not, like, specific couples from paradise that you hang out with.
Bailey
Well, everyone's. Nobody's.
Jeremy
Mainly Leia and Jonathan.
Bailey
Yeah.
Susan
Who did you say? Who did you say?
Bailey
No, I feel like we just, like, keep up with everybody, but everyone's, like, far. Nobody's from Couples from Paradise. No one's in the city. Yeah, everyone's.
Jeremy
Well, what is just, like, Spencer and Jess, right?
Bailey
Yeah. Spencer and Jess are in Texas.
Susan
Yeah. They're three hours from me.
Bailey
Yeah. Alex and Andrew do long distance, so they're.
Susan
I thought they moved in Chicago.
Bailey
Oh, maybe. I don't know.
Kathy
I see how you're keeping up.
Bailey
I feel like keeping up is like we have each other on close friends and we like swipe up to stories we do. We have like a group message with Leia that we frequently. We all text in and I feel like I keep up with.
Susan
Okay. You do know Leia has a boyfriend now.
Bailey
Yes, she. I. Well, I don't. Yeah, she posted this, right? Yeah. Okay. I was like on our podcast.
Susan
It's good.

Do you think that there's any misconceptions that you know, people might still have about your relationship? Or do you think that ship has sailed? Or if you do think there are misconceptions, what are they?
Jeremy
Were there ever misconceptions?
Susan
I love you, Jeremy.
Bailey
I know.
Susan
You should have been a lawyer.
Bailey
You know, you really should.
Jeremy
Seriously, I did do mock trial in high school.
Susan
Oh, I'm not shocked. And I did debate. Which is why, you know, you and I. Huh.
Jeremy
I'm not shocked either.
Susan
Yeah, I know. I know. I love you Jeremy.
Bailey
So, okay, so he's well, misconceptions. I feel like not really anymore. I feel like at this point I feel like we've gotten a few platforms to kind of show, like, who we are, you know, it's real.
Kathy
It's, like, very real.
Bailey
That much online, we kind of just like, give updates of, like, where we are and, you know, what we've been doing after a while. But, yeah, I feel like. I mean, at this point, we would only be dating if we, like, actually loved each other. You know what I mean? It's a lot of work.
Susan
Listen, there were. I don't remember who, Bailey, but I know there were a couple of people. Honestly, I would tell you, but I can't remember who said the ones they were worried about not making it were you two and Kat and Dale. And as we know, Kat and Dale broke up. But I just want to say there were so many couples in you guys. Spencer and Jess and. And Alex and Andrew. Like, paradise was really a success.
Coldwater Creek Advertiser
Yeah.
Bailey
You guys, I mean, I feel like.
Jeremy
And you still voted us home.
Bailey
Yeah. You know, he's not gonna let that go.
Susan
Listen, I want golden. Jeremy. Jeremy, I love you. I love you. And because I did debate and I almost also went to law school, you would have voted me off for the same reason. We're gonna let it go because I.
Jeremy
Love voting yourself off.
Susan
There you go. I do the right thing. I'm an ethical person. Exactly.
Bailey
Paradise was really successful, But I think paradise in general is successful just because you spend so much time with each other.
Susan
Not for me, Bailey, but keep talking.
Bailey
Yeah, it was kind of hard, I think, for the Goldens. I think it was.
Susan
But it was still fun.
Bailey
And also, you guys were kind of taking care of us, so it was like. And I'm telling you, mom, dadding, like, it was a lot.
Susan
When I came home, my daughter said to me, asked me about that, and I said, I don't think you get it unless you were there. Seeing and watching you guys fall in love and being there, I am telling you, as a mom, it, like, warms my heart. And as a mother, do we have any engagement plans? You know, because I need to know.
Bailey
No, not yet. I think we're.
Kathy
Do we talk about it?
Bailey
We're young.
Jeremy
No. If there were any plans, I would have taken the free ring on the show.
Kathy
Yes. So either one of you, you just know you're in love.
Bailey
Yeah. I think we're just enjoying. Like, we're not in a rush to get engaged. I feel like we're just enjoying time. And I don't know, there's. There's no rush. I mean, we just.
Susan
I love that. That there is no rush. But I also love. I have to say, Susan, I know these two, their smiles. Bailey, you're always gorgeous with a smile, but Jeremy, you wipe that smile off your face.
Kathy
I love seeing him smile because I watched you stone face.
Susan
So if your parents been supportive, everybody's supportive of your relationship.
Jeremy
Supportive.
Bailey
I feel like.
Kathy
Okay, tell me. You guys were at Charity's big. Wait. She called it a golden birthday. There's nothing golden about.
Susan
Oh, I.
Jeremy
No, no, no.
Susan
I learned out. I learned what a golden birthday is. It's when the. Your birthday, the. It matches the year you turn 26.
Kathy
Yes.
Susan
On the 26th of the month. Whatever. Well, she turned 30 on the 30th of December, so.
Kathy
Was it a blast?
Jeremy
Oh, yeah. It was kind of a very last minute thing. And. And they got a good little deal with the Palms. And I'd never been to Vegas, so Don hit me up and was like, hey, you just need to pay for your flight.
Susan
Did you win?
Jeremy
No. So I'd happen to. We were on a cruise before, and I happened to win money at the casino. So then I was like, okay, I'll just buy the flights.
Susan
What a guy.
Jeremy
Yeah.
Bailey
Yeah. I lost all my money. I actually was up at one point. I was playing with all the guys, and I had like.
Susan
What were you playing? What were you playing?
Bailey
Blackjack. So that's what he plays. So I feel like all the guys are playing blackjack. We did get to play, like, slots and stuff. I don't know. I don't know if gambling is really my thing.
Susan
Okay. Very important. Jeremy, do you play blackjack?
Jeremy
Yeah, I do.
Susan
What do you do if you sitting with 13?
Jeremy
What do they have?
Susan
They're showing a six.
Jeremy
You stand. You let them bust.
Susan
He knows this game. You're right. You're right.
Jeremy
You know your game.
Susan
I know the rules of blackjack, but I can't give away money. I just can't. I can't do it.
Kathy
I know.
Bailey
I want to, like. I don't want to lose my money. I want to spend.
Susan
That's right. I'd rather have a nice jacket. Buy something nice.
Kathy
I cry afterwards. I can't believe how stupid I am.
Susan
I know.
Bailey
And then I was like, I should have just walked away when I was up. And then I was like, dang, I just, like, lost all that money. It wasn't actually there.
Kathy
A big party, like, the night of.
Jeremy
They really, like, did it up for us, whoever was in charge of playing out.
Susan
We weren't invited. Susan, we don't get no.
Kathy
I can't believe Charity did not.
Jeremy
The hotel room was one of, like, the craziest thing I've ever seen. It was beautiful floors.
Susan
Like, wow. So wait, I have a question. You guys know what. What do you think about Charity and Rachel taking over Bachelor happy hour?
Bailey
I'm really excited for them. I would absolutely love to come on. I feel like. I think that it's always good to have, like, a fresh perspective, and I also feel like going into the new Bachelorette season, I feel like since they were both bachelorettes, they're going to be able to just, like, really what I said. So I feel like it's gonna be really good. I obviously, like, we love Joe and Serena, and we actually, like, we loved being on their podcast with them. We feel really comfortable with them. I feel like Jeremy also enjoyed his, like, solo podcast that he did with them. Remember, in person.
Jeremy
Oh, yeah.
Bailey
So I feel like. I mean, I love them. I also feel like the switch was. Would be really cool just for this upcoming season in particular. And I feel like they're both, like, really fun, and they have good energy. So, yeah.
Kathy
Yeah.
Bailey
I'm personally, like, really excited. And I mean, I love, like, you know, icons. Girls, Queens. Like, yay.
Susan
I haven't heard you say Queens. I've been waiting.
Bailey
I haven't even said queen yet. But we're gonna get it. I feel like the queen is coming for when we give advice, because it's like.
Susan
And we're going to go in. Bailey. When we are queens, we are queens. But let me just tell you, Bailey in. In. In paradise called me queen all the time. But I just loved watching, like, her do her hair and put on her makeup. All of them. It was like I just sat there enthralled with it. And again, you don't disappoint today. Here you go.
Bailey
I feel like Alex and I both love when you would come in our room and sit with us. Honestly, I think we all enjoyed just having people in our rooms. I don't think we enjoyed being alone at all. I feel like no one on paradise really enjoyed being alone at any moment. So I feel like it was just kind of nice if we were all getting ready to go.
Susan
Yeah. But you have to understand, as a mom and a grandmother, watching you guys, my daughter's like, mom, you're so weird. But watching you guys, like, get to put together your makeup and your hair and your jewelry and pick out your clothes, like, to me, it was like.
Bailey
Some, like, bangers of outfits. Okay, so you. You came with the clothes. Like, oh, you're so.
Susan
Bailey, I didn't.
Bailey
But you're very dress, did you not? I feel like you guys had the same dress.
Podcast Announcer
Who.
Bailey
There was a moment where you and Alicia had, like, a similar outfit or something. I feel like you came. You came with. With that.
Susan
We did have the same dress.
Bailey
Yeah. Yeah, Her.
Susan
Honestly, I can't remember, but we did have the same dress, and hers was 10 sizes smaller, but yes.
Bailey
Oh, that's a. That's not true.
Susan
No, totally true.
Kathy
I want to know what did your friends think of him? And Jeremy, what did your friends think of her?
Susan
Good question.
Jeremy
My friends love her, but I think they just trusted me. So, like, some of my best friends actually still haven't met her because, like, they live wherever, but it's like they already know who she is. They. They fully trust me. And the ones who have met her love her. And they always say she's, like, the easiest person to be around and have a conversation.
Susan
I will. I will toast to that. You are. And. And tell you never you didn't get into it. But tell us about parents and siblings.
Bailey
Oh, yeah. I feel like same. Like, my friends trust me too. When we. His second time coming to Atlanta, we did, like, a little mini, like, pickleball day. And so all of my friends from, like, college and just, like, adult life, some of my childhood friends, I feel like that was really nice because they all, like, got to come and meet him, and they, like, loved his energy. He did not get off the pickleball court. He was forcing, like, actually every single person to play. My friends were, like, heavy breathing in the corner. They were like, oh. He's like, really? I'm like, he's so.
Susan
Wait, Jeremy, you're a serious pickleball player.
Bailey
Oh, well, he's. Any activity serious.
Jeremy
I mean, I. I play tennis, so pickleball is like.
Susan
Yeah, I have a pickleball court in my neighborhood. Why don't you guys come for the weekend?
Jeremy
I've never been. Awesome.
Bailey
We haven't been to Austin. Should we wait?
Susan
Excuse me. Did I invite you? Did I invite you guys?
Bailey
When should we come?
Susan
Anytime. You just tell me.
Bailey
Let's go in April or something.
Susan
You are so welcome. I don't cook, though. That is the problem.
Podcast Announcer
We can.
Bailey
Please.
Susan
But maybe Susan, you can come and.
Kathy
You'Ll invite me so we can have food.
Susan
Oh, Susan's a great cook. I'm serious, you guys. I would love. You know, because Katie and Zach live here as well in Australia, so we could all get together and Susan will cook for us. It'll be perfect.
Bailey
I would. I would love that.
Susan
I would go out as well, it is an affair.
Kathy
Kathy's like a tour guide. When you go to Austin, where the.
Susan
Dome is, you know, where the park.
Kathy
Is, where the lake is.
Susan
I just want you to see the city when you.
Bailey
Yeah, I want to see. I like to, like, have a tour of the city when I come, when I.
Susan
Do you want to shop? Do you want to shop?
Bailey
I want to shop.
Susan
Okay, well, wait. Let me just back up here.
Kathy
Damage did such serious damage.
Susan
Susan, Nancy, Joan came and spent a weekend with me, and I wanted to, like, play pickle ball and show them the capital and walk on the lake, and they're like. And still like, yeah, where's the great shopping? So we spent a fortune shopping.
Bailey
I'm coming on that next trip. Whatever you guys are.
Kathy
We'll do. We're gonna do it annually, so.
Susan
Yeah, but I'm deadly serious. You guys are absolutely welcome. As long as Jeremy smiles, he will smile the whole time.
Kathy
As long as you give him a.
Bailey
Pickleball court, he will beat you down on the pickleball court.
Susan
I just want to say I'm looking at your kitchen behind me, and your kitchen looks like mine. That is not used.
Jeremy
No, it's just small.
Bailey
It's.
Jeremy
It.
Bailey
I mean, it's New York.
Jeremy
Yeah.
Bailey
But I feel like he just. He cooked twice.
Susan
Jeremy, you cook?
Bailey
He cooks, she doesn't.
Jeremy
So I have to.
Kathy
I guess so.
Susan
That was my husband.
Kathy
Do you guys still go on date. Do you go on dates?
Jeremy
Not as much as we should.
Bailey
Yeah, because, like, we've been tired.
Jeremy
Like, whenever we get back from traveling, we just, like, don't want to leave the couch.
Kathy
Yeah. Plus, winter. It's cold.
Jeremy
Yes.
Bailey
Yeah, We. We try to, like, I feel like, go to dinner once. We. We obviously, like, order in a lot, which is, like, a really bad habit.
Susan
I'm with you. I'm with you.
Bailey
I feel like that's kind of like a date night. Like, we've been watching the Marvel movies in order, because I've never seen them. And so I feel like every time we're like, should we go out to dinner? And we. We have been, like, going out to dinner with the, like, friends. Like, we just had dinner with his sister and her husband.
Susan
Wait, wait. Does your sister live in New York, Jeremy?
Jeremy
Yes, she lives in New York.
Susan
Oh, wow. Okay.
Bailey
Yeah. Wait. You asked a question about family. What was the question?
Susan
Well, my question was, what did. What did family think? Like, you know, you're. You're meeting them. Like, is this the person, like, I drill my children with? Well, they're all married. Now, but when they brought home, it's like, okay, is this. Do I have to spend time. Like, how serious is this?
Jeremy
They said I have a good shot.
Bailey
Oh, yeah. I mean, this. Okay, this is. This is what happened. So, you know, we're. I'm from the South. Okay. Now I live in Georgia. So after Christmas, my brother who Hunts took us. My great aunt was in town and she wanted to go to the gun range. And so we all, as a family went to the gun range. And my. We took Jeremy. It was really crazy. I feel like that's such a crazy thing to do with.
Susan
How'd you do on that one? Jeremy did great.
Jeremy
Yeah. I mean, it wasn't like a big target range. And it was also like, I've never used these guns before. They're like Afghanistan.
Bailey
I mean, okay, you know, Georgia is Georgia. But yeah, it was intense. But he did.
Susan
I was gonna say, bailey, you gotta stop saying this about Georgia because I lived in Georgia. I lived in Athens.
Bailey
You know, we don't have any rules.
Susan
Yeah. But I don't think of you as a Georgia girl. I think you're way more of a New York Chicago girl.
Jeremy
Just saying she's a Buckhead girl.
Bailey
I am a. I. Okay.
Susan
You are definitely a Buckhead.
Bailey
I'm a Buckhead girl.
Susan
Yeah.
Bailey
Born and raised, like a thousand percent.
Susan
That'll give you.

Susan
Did you give each other Christmas gifts?
Coldwater Creek Advertiser
We did.
Bailey
So I gave him his gifts a little bit early during. And then on Christmas, he had a gift for. Yeah, so we did gifts that way.
Susan
Well, what were they?
Bailey
So he got me this, like, custom jewelry, like, leather case, because I'm always throwing my jewelry around everywhere, which was, like, so travel. Yeah, it's like a travel one. Really pretty leather.
Susan
That's. Jeremy thumbs up for that one.
Bailey
Yeah, he actually. And then he got my mom a gift. He got my siblings a gift. I feel like he got my brother, like, a camo hat and my sister without your help.
Kathy
He did it on his own.
Bailey
I didn't help him.
Susan
Like, so wait, Susan, I'm gonna tell you, Jeremy, look at him. He's just sitting there like. But he is. I'm giving you a compliment here, Jeremy. He is a kind, sweet guy. We had Hakeem on another episode.
Kathy
Oh, my God.
Bailey
And he.
Susan
And he was saying, you know, men. His advice to men was like, just be who you are. Be authentically yourself. And I think, Jeremy, you've got this really sweet side to you that people don't see, but I see it.
Jeremy
Thank you, Kathy.
Bailey
Yeah. You know, he, like, has a wall.
Susan
I know, but I see it. I see the sweet side. And although I just want to point out to everyone who may be listening, the five people who are listening to this podcast, I did not get a Hanukkah or Christmas gift from you, Jeremy.
Jeremy
I didn't get one from you.
Bailey
You know what? We. We're. Let's.
Jeremy
If you voted us through and we won half a million or $187, you.
Kathy
Would have had two Hanukkah. You would have had eight Hanukkah gifts.
Susan
Let me just say, Susan, help me here. I am never going to live this down with Jeremy. He is forever, ever. You know, most people who talk about Bachelor in Paradise, you know what most of them say, Jeremy, you know, Kathy, you and Keith were so great that you say that publicly, that you would not take the money from the young ones, which we wouldn't do. Like, I literally have had people stop me, Jeremy, and say, come on, they made you say that? I said, no. No one made me.
Bailey
No, you know, you guys really meant honestly, like, Keith and I Were just texting like two days ago. And I hope maybe when we're in LA we'll have time to, like, see him while we're out there.
Susan
Yeah. When you do ask him why he doesn't answer my text. Thank you.
Bailey
He. And then he will look at me and say, bailey, you don't answer my text. And I feel like he texted me at such a random time. I text him in the middle of the night because I was in Europe and I was like, I'm sorry, I just realized it's three morning and you know dad. So he had his probably. He probably has all his text notifications on, but he was just like waking up and I text in sentences, so I like, send the text.
Susan
I love it. All right, so, Bailey, I have. I have another very personal question that everyone cares about. Your mother lives in Portugal, right?
Bailey
Yes.
Susan
I'm going to Portugal in May.
Bailey
When?
Podcast Announcer
In May.
Susan
I am. I'm going. I am going. Are you going to be there in May?
Bailey
Well, we don't know. So it's Jeremy's birthday on the 19th, so that's my.
Susan
That was my wedding anniversary. We had this conversation. I'm going to be in Portugal from May 18th to the 24th, I believe, with my sister, my daughter, and my niece.
Bailey
Okay, wait, do you. I'm gonna have to give you like a whole list of.
Susan
Yeah, we gotta talk. We gotta.
Bailey
Yeah, I have like a giant list that my sister created because, you know, my sister, my mom both live in Portugal.
Susan
But where do they live in Portugal?
Bailey
So we're in Oadish, which is. It's kind of like a Lisbon suburb. It's in between Lisbon and Cascais. So it's like a 20. It's like 20 minutes from the airport.
Susan
We're going to Lisbon and Porto.
Bailey
Oh, we went to. That's what we did. Yeah. So we did Lisbon, we did Cascais, and then we did Porto.
Kathy
Okay, what was your favorite? What's your favorite part?
Bailey
Oh, I honestly, I loved Porto. I always suggest that everybody.
Susan
You seriously send me a list of stuff.
Bailey
Yeah, I will. Because we did like this half day wine tour and it was so nice.
Susan
I had to be at wine.
Bailey
It was. It was so nice. But it was so funny because we were like, oh, we're not gonna get in trouble. Like, we're. We can walk around Portugal and like, people won't notice us. And then like our first day walking around in Lisbon, like.
Susan
Is there a chance, Bailey? Is there a chance you guys will be there?
Bailey
I don't know. We Actually could because since we're in New York, it's so easy to pop over. And at some point I usually take my dog and drop her off in Portugal and then when I come back, I'll come back and grab her in a little bit. So, yeah, we've kind of got to figure out. But that would be so fun. I feel like you guys are going to have. Oh, I love Porto. I'm really okay. I'm going to send you like a whole list of every. A lot of shop, a lot of good shopping.
Susan
Oh, God, shopping. That's for Susan. Do you remember me? I'm not a shopper.
Jeremy
I will send you a Portugal.
Susan
Listen, thank you. Thank you.
Bailey
Jeremy, don't you think your daughter's going to want to shop, your sister?
Susan
Well, if my daughter shops, I'm paying for it, so.
Bailey
The answer exactly.
Kathy
I'll try to avoid that at all cost.
Susan
You don't even know this. Wait, can I just say to you, because I said to them I was waiting until we got around to this part of the podcast. My daughter, I'm staying here because of the ice storm with my daughter and my son in law and my granddaughter and my daughter Caitlin said to me, wait, mom, you're going to London and you're going to Portugal? And I said, yeah. She goes, can I come?
Kathy
I was surprised. She's coming to.
Susan
Susan.
Kathy
Yes.
Susan
If I book the ticket and I pay for the shopping and the Airbnb, why wouldn't she come? Right.
Bailey
This is Kathy. I think you and my mom might have a lot in common that you.
Susan
I would love to meet your mom.
Bailey
My mom just met me in Berlin and in London and I was like, yes. I did a bunch of shopping. I was like, yes.
Susan
Okay, you brought it up. I was gonna let you off the hook, Bailey. Jeremy, I want you to weigh in on this. Susan, you know how you love to shop, right?
Kathy
Yes.
Susan
Okay. Bailey, one of the. Bailey has a perfect figure. She has beautiful clothes. She is. She loves to shop. She is exquisite. I mean truly. You know, I said that about you. Okay. Her home in Atlanta has buckets and buckets of clothing. Am I right, Bailey?
Bailey
Yeah.
Kathy
In the basement, you don't get rid of anything, Bailey.
Jeremy
No, she's getting rid of 90% of it.
Susan
What? What?
Bailey
Okay. No, I'm not getting rid of 90% of that. I think here's the problem. So I think let's like flashback to before the show. So before the show I use. I still do this, obviously, but before the show I shot fashion and skincare. Content. So I always just naturally had tons of clothes.
Kathy
Right.
Bailey
I've always enjoyed shopping. I think everyone has their vice, my shopping. And I hoard things. Because a lot of times things come back in style. Like, even for Paradise. Like, I know people love to, like, link their clothes and things. And then I realized at Paradise, I couldn't link any of my outfits because I was wearing clothes that I had just saved. I had shot, like, some of my dresses were like five years old, and I had just saved them because I was like, I'm gonna need this one day. And so that's the problem, I think a lot of the boxes. So the goal is to go home, organize it into things I actually want to save. And then, you know, I. My sister's gonna go through it. All my friends.
Kathy
So they're in boxes.
Coldwater Creek Advertiser
They're not.
Bailey
They're in boxes. Well, no, it. They're everywhere. It's in everyone's room.
Susan
I'm not saying a word here. I'm waiting for. I'm waiting for the truth.
Bailey
It's in the guest room. It's in my little sister's room because she doesn't live there. It's in my mom's closet. So where my dad's clothes were, I took that over. And then in the basement, there's boxes.
Susan
She's telling this, Wait, Susan, you know I don't like to shop. This girl is telling me on in paradise about the. The boxes, their shelves in the basement.
Bailey
I'm like, wait, you went in the basement? It was.
Jeremy
There were boxes.
Kathy
Yeah, there's marks, like from the year or the style or how do you know what?
Bailey
Oh, they're like, labeled like Bailey summer clothes. Bailey winter clothes. Bailey. Yeah, Bailey Content shoes.
Kathy
I can relate. I can relate.
Susan
Okay, this feels like a great time to end part one with Bailey and Jeremy. We have so much more to come, so stay tuned for part two dropping later this week. See you then. Take care.
