Kathy
Welcome back to Golden Hour. I'm Kathy.
Susan
And I'm Susan. How you doing, girlfriend?
Kathy
I'm doing great.
Susan
Tell everybody where you are today.
Podcast Host (Ad Read)
I am in London, England.
Susan
And wait, she just told me it's been sunny. Every time I've been in London, it's cloudy and rainy.
Kathy
It rained for about 45 minutes. Just drizzle. I got to go on the eye. The big Ferris wheel. I'm telling you, I could live on that thing. It's like a little apartment.
Podcast Host (Ad Read)
I could live on it.
Susan
I love it.
Kathy
This is a huge city. For anyone who hasn't been here, there's so much to see beyond Westminster and you know the area of Westminster where Parliament is and Big Ben. And did you go to the different districts we have been. I have walked on average eight miles each day. Yeah.
Susan
Because I had some favorites. I don't remember the name. Of course. I was shopping, but no.
Carol
Oxford.
Kathy
You were probably in Oxford Street.
Susan
I was everywhere. Everywhere. Great. But today, Kathy, we have a really, really special guest.
Carol
Oh, yay.
Susan
And she's from Mel, season of the Golden Bachelor. We have Carol with us. Hi, Carol.
Kathy
Hey, Carol.
Carol
Hello. Hi, ladies.
Susan
Welcome.
Kathy
How are you? You look beautiful.
Susan
Doesn't she always? I've never seen her look bad.
Kathy
Wait, do you have a tan? Carol, you look tan.
Carol
Okay. I'm a little. Well, I did. I did a spray tan last week. Yeah. Because the Dodger game had. They had a good series coming up. So I'm like, I. I need to look good.
Kathy
Yeah, well, you always look good.
Podcast Host (Ad Read)
You always look good.
Susan
So how are you? Phyllis in. What's going on?
Carol
I'm good. Just came off a big weekend.
Susan
Yeah. Happy Mother's Day.
Carol
And Mother's Day. I got to spend it with my children yesterday. So that was exciting. Went out for down to dinner and in Newport beach and we had a good time. Yeah. Ended up being with my grandson at night and playing with him. So it was great Mother's Day. I had a good time. Good.
Kathy
How many grandkids do you have, Carol?
Carol
Just one. I have three daughters. Only one daughter's married, so.
Susan
And don't you have a grand niece? Congratulations are in order.
Carol
I have a grand niece. Yes. Yes. She's so darling. She's great and she's beautiful.
Kathy
And is. Her name is London.
Susan
London.
Carol
Her name's London, huh? Yes.
Kathy
You named her after my visit. I love that.
Carol
I did. I. I did that. Okay. I thought you'd appreciate that.
Susan
Tell us, what was it like seeing her for the first time? Did it bring back so many memories?
Carol
Oh, because, you know, I work for Freddie Freeman, who plays for the Dodgers, and he has three boys, so adding a little girl to the mix is. It's just having daughters myself, it was. I'm so overjoyed about it.
Kathy
Are you out buying a lot of pink, Carol?
Carol
Yes, yes. And I'm wearing pink in celebration. We're feeling is named after London. Chelsea grew. Her parents are both British as well. And then it's Fred. Freddie lost his mom when he was 10, so his. It's London Rosemary Joy Freeman. So Rosemary Joy was Freddie's mother's name.
Susan
I love it. I mean, having a girl in the family, you. You'll go broke. Number one everywhere you go, it's so easy to see girl things. It just catches your eye. I mean, they're so adorable.
Carol
That's why I'm still working.
Susan
Yes.
Kathy
I may or may not have been at Liberty of London today, buying some cute little dresses for my granddaughters.
Susan
Granddaughters.
Kathy
So, all right, I want to know, how much do you get to see of this new gorgeous grand niece? Are you taking care of her? Are you a babysitter?
Carol
I'm not taking care of her, but I see her almost every day because I work for Freddie, so I'm in the house, so I'll see her. And yeah, I. We've got some construction going on, so I kind of lead that. And because she needs new closet already.
Kathy
I love it.
Susan
Did you get the baby hanging?
Carol
I mean, you know when you're two weeks old and you need a new, bigger closet?
Susan
There's just the shoes.
Kathy
How old is this little munchkin right now?
Carol
Two weeks.
Kathy
And she needs a new closet?
Carol
Yes.
Kathy
You're in trouble.
Carol
Okay. I'm just getting my new closet right now, by the way.
Kathy
All right, so before going further, tell
Susan
me about your closet. Yes, please.
Carol
Okay. I'm redoing my whole bathroom and closet. And everyone always laughs because I've been talking about it for years, and I'm like, I've got to get my bathroom done. We want to do all this. I'm finally doing it. Finally. Because I did the girls bathrooms first in my house, because I had their bathrooms done first. And then so I just. No one sees my bathroom. So I thought, I'll just do it last.
Susan
Well, can I just tell you, nothing compares to Kathy has the ultimate bathroom. Slash an extra entire room for a closet. It could be a nursery. I mean, I've never seen anything, so
Carol
I need to see pictures.
Kathy
Okay.
Carol
I need. I need some inspirational pictures.
Susan
It even has French doorstep.
Kathy
Wait, let me. Wait, Let me just say, guys, that I am also doing a remodel. Carol. With my home. And it has put me over the edge that I had to go across the pond to get away from it. Okay, so remodeling.
Carol
I thought you were starting your kitchen. I saw that.
Kathy
Oh, that. The kitchen.
Carol
Your old kitchen, even. I'm like, wow, that's. That's impressive, because I can't wait to see your new one.
Kathy
Well, no, no, the kitchen was already redone. The only thing I did in the
Carol
kitchen was because your kitchen's, like, stunning. I'm like, okay, Wait, what?
Kathy
Okay, yeah, but, Carol, I don't use.
Carol
I'll take all your stuff.
Kathy
I don't use the kitchen. It's just. I just need a microwave. But I. But hardwood's upstairs. It's been a nightmare. A new floor.
Carol
That's what I'm doing.
Kathy
Oh. Literally, I left town. Left town saying, please, God, have this finished, to my contractor, please have my furniture back in my bedroom when I get home. So I'm not thinking about it. I'm riding the London eye. I'm going to pubs. I'm not thinking about the remodel.
Susan
That's the perfect thing not to think about while you're on vacation.
Kathy
Okay, I was trying. All right, Carol, I want to know because inquiring minds do want to know before we get to lots of other questions.
Carol
Okay.
Kathy
Are you. Are you dating anybody right now? Because I heard you were.
Carol
You did?
Podcast Host (Ad Read)
I did.
Kathy
We want tea. We want the tea. Now.
Susan
That smile.
Carol
Well, not really. I've been on some dates, but they weren't, you know, they're. They're just. Okay, so, yeah, I'm not dating anyone right now, but I'm thinking about going on a date with a certain someone.
Kathy
Okay, tell us about them. And how'd you meet them?
Carol
Well, I've known him For a while.
Susan
Oh, these are the ones that work.
Carol
Yeah. So we'll see. We'll see.
Susan
You've been friends, right?
Carol
Friends.
Kathy
Oh, is he older, younger, married, divorced?
Carol
Years younger. That's okay. I've dated, you know, what do you know? Mel is the first person that was that age that I never dated older before.
Kathy
Well, if we're being clear, you really didn't date him either?
Carol
Yeah, this whole thing about data. Yeah. I'm like, you know, we can do that, right?
Susan
You fit that, though.
Kathy
Okay, so wait, is he divorced? Does he have kids? Does he live?
Carol
Divorced. So we'll see.
Susan
We'll see what made you decide? And I won't press too much, but if you've known him for a long time. Okay. Or sometime, anyhow. What made you switch to. Maybe we should go out in a different light.
Carol
You know what? Some of the other ladies on the show who date a lot, which I don't date a lot. They kind of talked me into saying, you know what? We date a lot. Trust me, there's not a lot of people to pick from out there.
Kathy
Carol, raise your hand. Susan, we are seconding that thought. We are. Right there. There are so few.
Carol
So they kind of. Amy actually kind of talked me into. And Jerry.
Kathy
So did he ask you out? Did he ask you out?
Carol
Yes. Yes.
Susan
But I'm out of nowhere. I'm trying to understand. You're friends for a long time, you don't see each other all the time, and then poof. He calls you and asks you for a real date.
Carol
Yes, because I saw him out and about.
Kathy
Ah.
Susan
We ran into each other.
Carol
Come on.
Susan
We gotta dig it out of her throw.
Carol
I. I ran. And so we'll see. He's handsome. He was an athlete, not a professional, like, college level. But that's okay. He likes everything. We like sports. He likes shopping. Well, he doesn't really like shopping, but he likes following me around, shopping, so that's even better.
Kathy
Do you get. If he pays for it, it's even better.
Susan
Bill's even better. Buy lunch after.
Carol
And he's really. He's really nice, so we'll see.
Kathy
Harold, do not throw a good one. You know what?
Carol
This is the weird thing. I really didn't want to date right now. I know that sounds weird because everyone's always.
Susan
No, it doesn't.
Carol
You know, I work more than full time. I work more than full time. My girls, my daughters still keep me busy. I have two daughters that are pretty young still. My youngest is a professional tennis player, so I want to travel with her when she's going, playing the French Open. I want to go to Paris. You know, I still want to travel with her. And then my other daughter is in Orange county. So I have, I'm having fun with them.
Susan
How old are they?
Carol
I have a 28 year old and a 25 year old. Okay.
Kathy
And how old is the tennis player? 25 or 20.
Carol
She's 25. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. So she's, she's on the road a lot and she's, she got injured, injured at the Australian Open. So she's been off the court for a while, but she's going back in three weeks. And I just look at my calendar. When, when can I go? When I'm definitely going to be at the US Open, but there's other things I want to go to.
Kathy
So you must think if this guy turns out to be a great guy, and I'm going to tell you some earth shattering news. Are you ready? You can take him with you to the French Open.
Carol
Yes, that's true.
Kathy
You can take him with him to the Australia. You can take him with you to the New York Long. Whatever it's called. Okay.
Susan
And he could take you and pick you up from the airport.
Carol
I know. Okay, now that's what I like. Pickup. I hate getting an Uber from an airport. I like being picked up.
Susan
I would never pick anybody up in la.
Carol
Here's the thing. It's hard to bring someone into that world because I'll go and I'll see coaches and I'll see, you know, people from tennis and, you know, I just want to talk to and be in my world. Right. And then it's like, oh, this is. I just. I like to go off and be on my own.
Susan
I know, but if he's a confident man, he'll do his thing.
Carol
That's true.
Susan
Yeah.
Kathy
Carol, stop looking for excuses and get on with it.
Carol
I know everyone says that because my first excuse was, I'm gonna wait till my bathroom's remodeled. And that's been six years.

Can I tell you something Carol? When I came off the show and Kathy as well, I believe we didn't we weren't interested in dating either. It was so refreshing to feel like you're secure and good with yourself.
Carol
Yes, isn't it? And I think that show did that for me. I mean, I know a lot of people go, oh, it made me want to get out and date. But for me, I was always codependent. Like I didn't get divorced for a long time because I was like, oh my gosh, I don't want to be one of those people who's divorced and are they lonely? Oh, my gosh, it's scary. I was so scary.
Susan
Yeah.
Carol
Now it's like.
Susan
It's amazing.
Kathy
It's empowering is what it is.
Carol
It's fun.
Susan
You love it.
Carol
Put that on. Divorce. Everyone stay married out there.
Kathy
For Susan and me, we always talk about, you know, neither one of us were very interested in. In Jerry. Nice guy. I just called him Jerry. That's been. It's been Gary. Gary. But I will say for us, the really great thing was the friendships we made.
Susan
Yes.
Kathy
How has that been for you? Did you make a lot of really tight friends on the show?
Carol
I did. I did. And that's been the best thing for me as well, because I don't know about you guys, but all my girlfriends that I moved here in the fourth grade from Canada, I still have the same friends that I met. We went through junior high and high school. We're still friends today. We get together three times a year. We're really close knit. I. I felt so blessed to have them, but they're all married and. And it's different. So to go on this show and to find single women that still have worry about. Mortgage your investments, your, you know, how if I get hurt, if I can't work anymore, what do I do? You know, they all had the same issues that I've had, but can't really share them with them because they don't understand. Some of them don't. You know, electricity bill is, you know, so it's. It's hard. So it would stress me out. Like, oh, my gosh, I'm the only one in this position. So meeting them on the show, I have to tell you, I never slept so well in those bunk beds.
Susan
Yes.
Carol
Because meeting women that had, in this stage of my life in this season, all what we had in common.
Susan
Yes.
Carol
Was really comforting to me.
Podcast Host (Ad Read)
And I.
Carol
These girlfriends are. I love them. Like, we're really. We're best friends.
Kathy
We got it.
Susan
Look at us.
Carol
Right? Look at us.
Susan
Yeah.
Carol
And so I talk to Amy every day.
Susan
She's great.
Carol
I talk to Jerry every day. I talk to Robin a lot. I talk to Cindy maybe every couple weeks.
Kathy
Yeah.
Carol
And then some of the other. I. I've been texting back and forth with Peg, so, I mean, but my real close friends are my. The girls that I was shared room with. And that was me, Robin and Jerry. And we had the best time. And all the ladies were great on the show. I mean, Yeah. I didn't share rooms with them all
Susan
but, but the ones you shared rooms with, you talk at night.
Kathy
Yeah.
Susan
You bond.
Carol
We bonded. And because we had the fun room, I have to say. Did you have a big room? I didn't sleep, I didn't sleep for however long I was there. We were up like, and I'm early bird, so I would get up still early. But we'd go to bed at 2 or 3 in the morning.
Kathy
Yeah, same thing. The hall monitors would come in and say, you've got to stop talking and go to sleep. And it got so bad that they just came in and partied with us.
Susan
She would be like, lights out. And we said, just because you turn out the lights doesn't mean we're going to shut up. I mean.
Carol
Yeah, yeah. And you know what's so, exactly. And you know what's so funny? So there was a quiet room, right. With some of the other ladies in it. And they put a sign, the quiet room. And I was like, thank Jesus. They. Because you know how you're assigned rooms, right? I was like, if they, if that was me, I, no one would have liked me in there because I, I, I get up early, I'm not quiet. I want to talk at night. And so they would yell down the hallway, be quiet.
Susan
Wow.
Carol
Yeah, well.
Susan
But I get to really get close to whoever's in your room. You know what I mean? Because you have that and 6 o' clock in the morning, having coffee with somebody, you know their daily routine.
Carol
You do.
Kathy
I think, Carol, you're so right. We all, at least on our show, we all came looking for love, hoping to find love. Obviously, only one person was gonna end up, but the, for us, the friendships that still exist today, that people always write us and say, are you guys really good friends? Yes, we really are. And that to me is the best gift aside from meeting all the wonderful producers and, you know, all the things we've gotten to do. It's those relationships that really are amazing.
Carol
It is. I agree. It's almost like, you know, when you get divorced, you have your children. That's the best thing that came out of the marriage. And it's like the best thing about this show was the friendships, the girlfriends.
Susan
But you know what? The world should hear that because it's all about love. Okay? Just because you didn't end up with the lead with the man doesn't mean you didn't find love in friendship. That was our biggest platform, Kathy and I. Telling women, just because you're 60 or up doesn't mean life is over.
Kathy
Get up off the sofa. Live your best life.
Podcast Host (Ad Read)
Yeah.
Kathy
In your case, Carol.
Susan
Date your friends, get back to high school friends.
Kathy
I went to an all girls school.
Susan
That's not going to help me.
Carol
Yeah.
Susan
Unless I switch teams.
Carol
And this is the thing. I feel like something was released in me from that show.
Susan
Yes. It's like you're born again.
Carol
I. I wish everyone could experience what we experienced. Yes. I feel like a revival went on inside of me. And the Carol that was a little girl I found again. I found again, like the real me.
Susan
And I'm having.
Carol
I think that's why I haven't dated. I'm having such a good time rediscovering myself. Yeah.
Susan
I love this.
Carol
I don't want to sound like, oh, so blah, blah, blah, like New Agey. I'm not that person. Okay. Because I like, I like doing things for others and I. But I. There is something about getting to know yourself again.
Susan
Yeah.
Carol
And I think that's what I took away from the show because these ladies helped me. I, I mean, they really did end the show.
Susan
They didn't even know they were.
Carol
No.
Susan
Right.
Carol
No. And how crazy is it that I didn't pick that room? I remember seeing Robin for the first time. I thought, oh, boy, she's like, she's really strong. And I was a little put back by her. And then when she was, when she was in the room. Oh, Robin's in my room. I don't know. I don't know how this. It's so great. I love one of my best friends. I really think the Lord put me in that. In on that show and in that room. That it was not a mistake. It was all for a reason.
Kathy
We are glad. Yeah, we are glad. I want to just pivot back. We. We are with you, Carol. We love the. It's the best part, Best part of it. But I want to just pivot back for a minute because I'm Boston Red Sox fan, not an LA Dodgers fan. So, you know, I don't know, you know, where the World Series is going to be and, you know, maybe LA will be in it and maybe Red Sox will. But I know that your nephew is a famous, you know, player. I want to know how that is for you because he's family, but he's also. Tell me a little bit about that, like what it is you do. Do you manage his. His. What do you do?
Carol
Well, my job's changed over the years. I've worked for him for eight years. When he worked for, when he worked, when he played. Well, he was Kind of working he. When he played for the Atlanta Braves. And that's when I got separated in 2018, and I knew I was, you know, things were going to probably progress. And he said, hey, do you want to come? My brother, who's Freddy's dad, said, hey, do you want to go help out Freddie? You know, just kind of manage things, and. And I'm like, sure. He had one. Only one child at this point. I said, I'll go up for a season. And it was only June, so a lot of the season was over. And so I went from June, I said, okay, I'm just gonna work the season because I'm gonna just take a little hiatus from my other job, and I'll go do this. So I.
Susan
What exactly did you do? I'm sorry, for.
Carol
I work for Chanel. The fragrance division. Yeah. And so. And I work in. In cosmetics and fragrance my whole life. That's my background. So I thought, yeah, I'll try this, because I knew I needed to do something else. I thought maybe just getting out of Orange county and going to Atlanta. So I worked for him. And he asked after the season. He goes, what can I do to get you back? I'm like, I just can't because the hours are crazy. Well, I mean, weren't you married to a baseball player?
Susan
Oh, yes.
Carol
That's my life, you know? You know, it's. It's crazy hours. There's. There's. It's. It's. It's a loss. I'm not. I wasn't even that young back then. And I'm, you know, 2, 3 in the morning, then getting up and. Yeah. What do you.
Kathy
What do you do, Carol, for. I mean, you can't throw the pitches or, you know, tag the guy out at first.
Carol
Well, okay, so, for example, he had a gardener that was charging him too much and doing a terrible job, so I had to let him go and then fire a new garden.
Susan
So you took over?
Carol
Yeah, I. I had, you know, a chef that could cook. You know, when the chef he had. He's gaining weight, is probably not a very good chef, you know, So I had it. Like, little things like that. I would do, like, anything in the house. He's a huge home. He had a huge home in Atlanta. So it was like taking care of a building. You know, there's always things that. There's always things breaking. There's always things need to be done.
Susan
So you were running the house?
Carol
I was running the house. Anything. Personal assistant, like dry cleaning. Got it. Married. Anything for her. Like getting makeup or just anything. Grocery shopping. Anything. Personal assistant. That's.
Susan
I guess.
Carol
What?
Susan
All right, that's.
Kathy
And when. When did he get. Now I got it. When did he come back to LA?
Carol
Three years ago. Three years ago? Yeah, it was 2021. 2022. Sorry, 2022.
Susan
Tell us something about Freddie that the fans. Nobody gets to see. The only you.
Carol
Let's see. Oh, a lot of things. But, you know, I will tell you this. He is. Well, the fans probably know this. He's very generous.
Susan
That's funny. Does he joke? Is he serious at home? Like, is he moody?
Carol
Okay, well, during season, it's a little more serious.
Susan
Okay.
Carol
I can't talk to him about his game in the car on the way home.
Susan
Okay.
Kathy
Oh, so you drive him to and from the games?
Carol
I. I used to. I used to drop him off in Atlanta because we were only 15 minutes away. And one time I said to him, make a friend. I felt like it's dropping up my child at school. Yeah, I would drop off sometimes.
Kathy
Is it hard to manage? He is a professional athlete. He is very successful. How do you manage being family but also managing him? Is that difficult to walk that line?
Carol
Yeah, it is hard because you. I could be there 24 7. I'm a workaholic. Anyway, in my old job. And this is even worse because I shouldn't say worse. That's not very good wording.
Susan
No, no, not worse, but more busier.
Carol
Busier family. Because your family, you care more. And so I do anything, everything he wants me to. I do whatever it takes to get. To try to take off stress from he and his wife and children. So whatever it takes to make, especially during baseball season, to make them more calm, that's what I do. Like, if it's vendors coming in here or this, or getting, you know, a new pool guy or this and this. I try not to let him know about it. I just do it. You're amazing. Like, I hire and I. I would
Susan
be good at that job.
Carol
Yeah, you would. Both of you would.
Kathy
Yeah, we would, because we're organized. Wait, Carol, I want to know. Do you shop. Little tidbit here. Do you shop for his wife's Christmas gifts or anniversary gifts?
Carol
I have picked up things, but she'll never.
Susan
Don't ask for that on air.
Carol
All of a sudden, he'll say. He says. He says to me, okay, last year was the best because he said to me, there's going to be a package arriving. And he goes, so just make sure Chelsea doesn't see it. And I'm like, okay. So the package comes and she's at the door with me. And Freddie was there too. So it came at the same time. And I kind of just got by there and I grabbed another pack. So I'm like, oh, here's it. She didn't see it. And Freddie just looks at me and like. So that was. That was good. So, yeah, he'll. He's really good. He shops on his own.
Podcast Host (Ad Read)
I love this guy.
Kathy
Sounds perfect.
Carol
No, he's a great guy. He's a great guy. You know, he lost his mom when he was 10. So I think he really appreciates life a little bit differently than a lot of young men. You know, he. He's a good guy. He really is.
Susan
What is one of your proudest moments of him? Of watching him.
Carol
Okay. Not last year, but the year before when he hit the walk off grand slam.
Susan
Oh.
Carol
Against the New York Yankees. And this is funny because we were shooting a Netflix show. Okay. So we're all mic'd up and they came to Dodger Stadium and they're doing a show on the Freeman's. And the bets. Mookie bets that both. Because it's funny because Freddie, we have. He has a lot of family working for him and so does Mookie Betts. So it's kind of a funny. They've always wanted to a show, but Freddie won't do it. They, you know, but he did this, this documentary. But so anyway, so we're doing this documentary. Freddie was having a bad game, so we thought, we're gonna go up to the owner suite. That night, we took off our mics. We de miked ourselves. I didn't even know how, you know, after going on this show there, you know, they're all freaking out about them. I'm ripping it off. I didn't know they're expensive, you know. So we go up to the suite, and so he's coming up to bat. Okay. And so we're not. Mike. So anyway, so we're up there and we go up there and Freddie's up to bat. Well, two weeks earlier against the Met series, Freddy struck out and he was the last out. So I was just praying, Laura, just don't let him just get a hit. I don't. I know the feeling tonight because it wasn't the. It was a game one of the World Series. Okay. If he doesn't get a hit tonight, I just get him a hit. So he gets up, he hits it. Now, Freddie is not a showboater guy at all. He holds up his bat. The ball is not out yet. He holds up his bat straight up in the air like lightning, right? I'm like, oh, my gosh. And the bases were loaded. I said, this is going to go out because there's no way he would ever catch, right? There's no way it goes out. Grand slam. First ever, ever grand slam.
Podcast Host (Ad Read)
Oh, wow.
Susan
In the World Series.
Carol
It was it in the 9th and it was, it was, it was unbelievable. It was, it was, it was great. So.
Kathy
All right. Well, I gotta say, Carol, you are clearly a woman who is well organized, who keeps Freddie on the straight and narrow. So we're gonna go move into our segment called Golden Hotline.
Susan
Oh, this is fun.
Kathy
Every week, you know, we answer questions from listeners and then we give them our expert golden advice.
Carol
Okay.
Kathy
And we want you to join in. You ready?
Carol
I'm ready.
Kathy
All right, Susan, go for it.

I just received my order from Dietz and Watson. I am so excited. I got chicken sausages and flavored cheddar cheeses. You know, I'm from New England and I know a genuine New York State cheddar when I, I see it. They are infused with real ingredients, iconic flavors, and a smooth, creamy finish. I think my favorite one was the champagne cheddar. It just is delicious. And the chicken sausage, they never have antibiotics, no nitrates are added. They're gluten free and they have bold, authentic recipes. Dietz and Watson has been handcrafting premium meats and artisan cheeses for over 85 years. They're family owned and operated and they've never cut corners, ever. They're transparent about what goes into their food and what doesn't. And they know good taste, doesn't need a long list of ingredients. Dietz and Watson is simply made. It's as simple as that. Carol
I can't stop scratching my downtown.
Susan
Yeah, but I'm not itching to go downtown and tell a receptionist I'm here to talk about my downtown.
Carol
Some things you'd rather type than say out loud.

Susan
All right, this first one is from Marissa in Columbus.
Carol
Okay.
Susan
She says, I've been dating this guy for about five months and we're not officially in a relationship yet, but we act like we are in every way. Recently I noticed he still follows a bunch of girls he used to hook up with and actively likes their photos. When I asked him about it, he said I was overthinking and that it doesn't mean anything. But it still bothers me, though. Am I being insecure or is this disrespectful? First of all, I'd like to know how old she is.
Kathy
I don't know how.
Susan
That would explain a lot.
Carol
Yeah. It is done, right?
Susan
You're saying done.
Kathy
Show him.
Carol
Get rid of him.
Kathy
Yep. I'm with you, Carol. I'm with you.
Carol
Done.
Kathy
In my mind. Susan, it doesn't matter. Why did you ask that? Who cares how long they've been. They've been going out with a guy for five months and he is follows girls he used to date and likes their photos.
Carol
Okay, I have a question.
Kathy
He's a player. And not a player like Freddie. He's a player.
Susan
No. I have a question for both of you. So say you follow people or whatever and you decide you're going into a relationship, you're starting to date somebody. Do you think that I need to go unfollow?
Kathy
Maybe that's not even like you used to date. Yes. Yes.
Susan
Girls she used to hook five months
Carol
and they're acting like they're in a relationship. Okay. Unless it's, you know, if he wants to follow women, like, you know, an old school teacher.
Susan
Nobody he hooked up with, though. But no, no, but he's always followed them. He's just liking their photos.
Carol
No, no. And that's weird. Any guy that is into someone else liking a weird photo.
Kathy
Exactly. And by the way, Susan, just to pound this little. Give you a home run on this one. Do you like. I'm just going to use the metaphor that we're going to use the metaphor of baseball.
Carol
I like it, Kathy.
Kathy
Thank you, Carol. Just in case, you know you you're about to strike out on this one because he said she was overreacting and it doesn't mean anything. You know what I'd be saying? Hey John boy, if it doesn't mean anything. X amount of your lies. Like no, he's having his cake and eating it too.
Susan
He says he's overthinking.
Carol
Yeah, I don't like that. That to me is a red flag.
Kathy
Disparity.
Susan
You're out, buddy. If there's any argument, the ladies have spoken.
Kathy
Yes, Marissa, kick them to the ground.
Carol
But you could do better.
Kathy
Bye Marissa. You capsule Carol. I see. I knew she'd give great advice. Okay everyone, that's all for part one with Carol. Stay tuned for part two coming out tomorrow.
Carol
Bye.
