Hey, everyone. Welcome back to Bach youh Happy Hour. I'm Joe, and I'm back with my co host, Charity. Charity, welcome.
Charity
Thank you. Happy to be here.
Joe
And we have two guests. We have Dotton, your husband, and. No. Oh, you're a fiance. Oh, yeah. You guys are.
Charity
Yeah, it's okay. Oh, yeah, he is and will be.
Joe
And. And Jeremy's here. Jeremy, welcome back.
Jeremy
Yo. I feel like we're all co hosts.
Joe
You could. Yeah, you could. You could be a. You could be a co host. You're. Honestly, you're professional with the muting and not muting your mic.
Jeremy
So I'm like, right on a freeway in Los Angeles. So I'm just trying to be respectful.
Charity
I appreciate that.
Joe
Wait, wait, you're in the. Are you in your car right now?
Jeremy
No, no, I'm at my buddy's place in la, and he's right off of a busy road.
Joe
Got it. Got it. And Daughton. How you doing, Dotton?
Dotton
I'm doing good. I'm doing good, brother. Life's good. Just got back to New York a couple days ago from a much needed trip to California. So life's good, brother. Living the dream. You know how it goes.
Joe
Did you guys go together?
Charity
Tell them how much you missed me?
Dotton
So much I had to sprint it back home. No, we went on a cruise that ended in Miami, and then after that, I went to California. She went to Montana with the girlies.
Joe
Okay.
Dotton
To take pictures in the snow and in bikinis. Literally. That was the entire purpose of that trip. Her charity was for all them to take.
Joe
Wow, he's throwing shade.
Charity
I'm gonna keep it really cute on Bachelor happy hour right now. I'm gonna keep it.
Dotton
Hey, you know how it go. We get.
Jeremy
No, no, don't keep cute. Yeah.
Joe
How do you feel about that?
Charity
He liked the photo, so that's what mattered. He liked what he saw.
Jeremy
I saw some comments from dying.
Charity
Okay.
Dotton
I didn't say I didn't like it.
Charity
We went to celebrate Jess's birthday, and we was like, why not? We're in Montana. Let's dial it up just a singular notch, okay? And that's what we did. And everyone's photos were great, and we had a great time.
Dotton
Okay, what's the.
Jeremy
What's the Latia connection? She seemed like the odd man out.
Dotton
That was very random. That's a good question.
Charity
Oh, it's not. If y' all know me. I'm like. I'm like mother bear to everyone. And, yeah, I. Katie and me and a couple other girls really just connected with her earlier on. She lives in Utah, so it was, like, close.
Jeremy
You still.
Joe
You still are friends with most of the girls from your season, huh? You guys are all pretty close.
Charity
Yeah, we are.
Joe
Wow.
Charity
A blessing.
Joe
Don, are you close with anyone from your season anymore?
Dotton
I think I would say we have the closest season ever in Bachelor history. Bachelor history? No, all the guys were tight. We all went to Mexico, like 16 of us last year, which is rare, right? At this point. I feel like it's usually like, groups of, like, two, three, or four, and then some of them hate each other, and we don't have any of that, which is sort of like what, Jeremy's. That's like Jeremy's group. They're like that, where they all kind of hate each other. But we're. We're all. We're all real cool. We get along real well.
Joe
I love how Dutton throws out bachelor history. Like, you've. You've never watched or you didn't even know you get engaged on the show.
Dotton
Hey, I'm a historian.
Charity
I went back 17 seasons, and the boys are not.
West Prop
They don't talk.
Dotton
I've been doing this. I've been in these streets for a while now. Joe, put some respect on my name, bro. That is true.
Joe
That is true.
Jeremy
Do. Do you not think about all these other guys kissing your fiance, like, when you're hanging out with them?
Charity
No.
Dotton
Wait, that's very funny. Not original, but the answer is no, I do not.
Charity
So, Jeremy, are you still close with the guys from your season?
Jeremy
Yeah, I mean, you know, we're not all like a tight knit group, like. Like.in's cast or your cast, I should say. But, yeah, we're still close, I think. You know, me, Austin, a few of us might go to Nashville soon. Well, yeah, we'll do some trips.
Charity
Well, I see any of you guys at Stagecoach.
Jeremy
I don't like country music, but I heard it's a scene, so I'll go. I'll be there.
Charity
No, you won't, because you'll be in paradise.
Jeremy
No, I won't.
Dotton
Yikes.
Joe
All right, all right. Let's talk about that for a second. Well, first of all. First of all, Jerry, why do you have your shirt off right now?
Jeremy
It's a great question. I don't like wearing clothes. No, it's. It's like. I don't know. I mean, it happens to be 50 degrees in New York today, but it's been like 15 degrees. So I booked a book to flight to LA and it's 80 degrees. So you just. I'm trying to get a tan.
Dotton
Yeah, it's a beautiful app.
Joe
And you're saying you are definitely not going to paradise? Is that what you're saying?
Jeremy
I never say. For 100% certainty.
Joe
Okay.
Jeremy
It's not in the cards right now.
Dotton
Why he's gone.
Jeremy
You know, no specific.
Dotton
Reason you'd be trying to keep it cute.
Charity
No, no, it is us. It is.in charity and Joe, don't keep anything cute over here.
Dotton
Jeremy is the king of pretending. Like, I don't know, like. No. You gonna do it?
Joe
Jeremy, after watching Grant Season, has anything. Is. Has any of the girls that you would want to meet change? Like, did any of that change for you?
Jeremy
No. And I. I happened to meet a bunch of them back in, like, November in New York, so they're all cool, but no, it doesn't. Doesn't change anything. Okay.
Joe
Okay. All right. So Jeremy's not. Not going to paradise, but I, I think. Do we want to place a wager on this podcast right now? Charity? Do you guys think he's gonna be there?
Dotton
I will bet the house.
Joe
I. I'm with you. I. I agree.
Dotton
I will bet ABC's bank account that he will be.
Charity
Okay, so we can obviously let it rest that you're probably, or probably will be at Paradise. We don't know yet. But you are in LA right now. So I'm curious, are you doing out there?
Jeremy
It was sort of a last minute trip. I wanted some sun and then they were like, yeah, you should come through the tell. So I'll be front row maybe if they like me, I'll be front row getting some reactions from you during the girls fighting.
Charity
Okay.
Joe
Okay.
Charity
So England after, probably.
Joe
All right, Dalton, have you. Have you watched. Have you been keeping up with the season?
Dotton
As much as I can, yeah. Yeah.
Joe
So from what you've seen overall, how do you feel Grant's doing?
Dotton
Jesus. I think he's doing good. I mean, I think he's doing good. It's just like, he's. I mean, he's got a different personality than anything that, like, I might sort of approach it with. So, like, I think for the way that he's doing it, I think he's doing good. And, man, I would say, like, it's a tough thing too. You get criticized so much on that show for doing, you know, the smallest thing wrong, and I can't really think of anything egregious that he's done, you know, but, yeah, he's just like, he's got a different personality and I think it comes off a little bit different, but nothing, nothing bad. I think he's doing okay, you know?
Jeremy
What do you. What do you think of the music? You're a big music guy of, like, his music. Yeah. Or just like, involving music in the show.
Dotton
Oh, I mean, I don't think much of it, like, good for him. I think it's great. I heard the one song. The one song is good. You know it.
Charity
Loki is a bop.
Dotton
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Jeremy
It's not bad nights like this.
Dotton
Okay.
Joe
Jeremy, Jeremy, are you at all surprised by anything Grant has done thus far? Like, has anything shocked you at all? Is it all on par with, like, his personality and who he is?
Charity
Yeah, because you're like, you're close with him, right?
Jeremy
Yeah, I'm close with him. I feel like it is pretty on. On par. He is a lover boy. And I feel like when you say you're a lover boy, it actually might mean you're not. But he really is. I think he's approaching it well. I mean, you guys know how the show works. Like, not everything will be shown. So I think as an audience, sometimes you could be surprised at who might make it far, who might go home. But I'm not, I'm not necessarily surprised, but I think he's doing a great job, and I'm pumped to see who he's engaged to.
Dotton
I think he's done a pretty good job of, like, sort of reading out problematic people, which is, you know, I think one of the most important things, like, as far as who's left, I don't really see anybody.
Joe
I, I, I really agree with that, actually. I think he's done. I think he's done a really good job at that too. Yeah. Which also, it doesn't, it doesn't really make for the best tv. But I feel like he's cut. I feel like he's got to the root of the problem quicker than most leads do.
Charity
I disagree, because this man is. No, just Zach Shallcross. That man sent people packing. If they look like, I will say it. Definitely. He has, like, to a certain degree, like, yes, Dalton, he sent them packing eventually. But I think it has taken him. And not in a battle. I think he definitely is more practical about it. He's not, like, quick to, like, make a decision, which I do admire to a certain degree. But he has left some, I think, there for the plot a little bit longer, I think.
Dotton
So Drop some names. Who.
Charity
I'm not gonna do that. Watch the season.
Joe
Well, yeah, and I think Zach was, Zach was definitely the bachelor of like, oh, wait, you're there for the wrong reasons. You gotta go like, yeah, yeah, yeah. He didn't play around. Okay, so right now we have, we have four women left. Zoe. Zoe, Lata, Juliana, and. And Dina. Are we surprised at all that he sent home Carolina and Seraphina? Because I actually, I really liked. I really like Seraphina. Oh, and Alex. But Alex got the first one on one, and then we kind of never saw her again.
Charity
I know. I hate it. I love, I love her. I love her.
Dotton
I say. Yeah. Alex was, I feel like is the most. One of the better, best choices, probably, like, from the little. We know, like, so, yeah, a little surprised. But.
Joe

Jeremy, how about you?
Jeremy
I. I'm actually not too surprised. I was not throwing Shad. I think Alex is great. Seraphina seems great. I think people were surprised at Zoe because she didn't have a one on one, but I'm. I believe in the momentum. So, like, I. I didn't think I was gonna necessarily get a one on one. I still thought I was going to hometowns.
Charity
So did you have a one on one before hometowns?
Jeremy
I got the last one. So, like, right into hometowns. Okay, but like, I wouldn't have been. Obviously I would have been upset if I didn't get it.
Dotton
But.
Charity
But would you have still been fine if Jim was like, okay, that's a different story.
Dotton
Yeah.
Charity
Okay, so that's where we see Grant is bringing Zoe home without a one on one. And I was like, I don't know if I personally could do it. I don't know if I could.
Joe
Yeah. Would you, Jeremy, Would you have done it?
Jeremy
Between you and me, we were. I was talking about that with producers. Like, I don't know if I would.
Dotton
Have, like, actually brought her home if.
Jeremy
I didn't get that one on one. Yeah, well, that didn't happen.
Joe
Jeremy, you. Not to rub it in, I don't think you really care. But you got sent home after your one on one, correct, or after your hometown? After your hometown.
Jeremy
Oh, yeah, sorry. After my hometown.
Joe
After your hometown news, or can you kind of just like. Yeah, like, kind of just run through that with us? Like, how did you. Were you expecting it after that or was it more of a letdown since she finally did meet your mom and everybody?
Jeremy
Yeah, I mean, my hometown was interesting where I still think it went great. And obviously it might not have gotten the best reaction to the audience. Like, it. That was kind of like the scary one of the four. I actually was surprised I went home. I'm pretty confident, slightly delusional. Maybe my producers were too. I thought I was going all the way. The question in my head wasn't like, if I was getting sent home, it was like, would I be ready to propose?
Charity
Got it.
Joe
Really? Do you think you would have been ready?
Jeremy
I wasn't at that point. But, like, you know, the show moves in such weird speeds.
Joe
For sure.
Charity
Overnights can change a lot of things.
Jeremy
Oh, tell me more.
Charity
No, we're talking about it.
Joe
That. And how about your how about your hometown? How was that? Did that change anything for your relationship with Charity?
Dotton
I definitely, for sure. I mean, up until that point, it was like, I knew I was feeling it. But again, you don't know how that bubble kind of is affecting you. And, like, it's so easy to get delusional. And, you know, all the dates are perfect. So it was nice to get that external validation from my family, who honestly, sort of similar to, like, almost expecting sort of how I expected it to be with what's her name, the girl who's Dina, like, sort of expecting something like that because my parents, like, oh, they're not gonna play that. But the fact that they were, for one, like, so open and supportive, which was nice for, like, my personal relationship with them to know that. But then in terms of the show and Charity, like, they saw it. Like, they saw it. I didn't ask for them to look at it. I told them, hey, be as critical as you can be, because this is crazy to me. There's no way that I actually feel this way. And when they help me confirm that. So, yeah, it was huge. And then that was like, okay, all gas, no brakes. Let's. Let's ride this thing to the end.
Charity
So, yeah, I want to. I want to ask you, because you mentioned, like, Dina, and obviously, like, we see in. In the Hometown episode that her parents chose not to, like, come. So, like, she didn't have her parents, like, support, so it was just her friends. And, like, obviously, like, I. Like, it was no secret. Like, I. Obviously, you're the first person I said I was, like, falling in love with at Hometowns. But, like, if your parents hadn't have been there, do you think that that would have, like, change your outlook on, like, our relationship? And I guess I could answer that, too.
Dotton
No, I don't think so. I. Although I expected them to be more critical, I went into it also. I'm sort of stubborn in this way, but also feeling like I'm gonna do what I want to do. Like, you know, if my feelings are strong, then it's going to be okay and I'm going to move forward. And so, no, I. I wasn't going to let that be, like, you know, the total, like, the only thing I make way my decision on. But again, it was a. Just a huge added bonus to, like, have them there. And again, I was surprised. You know, I didn't think they would be that supportive, but they loved it and they were all super happy. And so, yeah, it. I would have still moved forward for sure. But yeah, just an added bonus and more. More weight to. To, I guess.
Joe
I guess that would be pretty rough if, like, you br. If you're at your hometowns and you're. You're about to leave and your parents are like, don't do it. Like, yeah, you're making a huge mistake. We hate it.
Dotton
Yeah.
Charity
That would have actually destroyed me. Like, I was like. I was so nervous, like, for his hometown. I was like, if, like, well, I thought we weren't gonna meet his parents, but then they showed up, and then I was like, okay. Now I'm like, it's actually, really, like, happening. I hope they like me. And if they don't, like, what does this mean? Because I was like, so, like, yeah.
Joe
What do you think that. What would have. What would have that done to you mentally if you left.in's hometown and he and the parents were like, nah, nah. Like, we vote. We vocalize that we don't like.
Charity
You see, that's the thing is, like, I mean, I'm very similar to Dot, and in this way, it's like, I probably would have been like, well, sorry.
Joe
Yeah.
Charity
Yeah, I'm still gonna do what I want to do, and I obviously respect them, but, like, yeah, like, it would have hurt me. Like, I obviously would have wanted that, like, validation from them and just, like, that acceptance. But, like, I think it would have been different because, like, the problem was, is, like, not if they wouldn't have liked me. It was just like, am I going to meet them before proposal? Like, that's where we were, like, uncertain of. I think I have a little bit of confidence that I just do well with parents. Like, parents. Not to toot my own horn, but, like, I do.
Joe
Well, you are. You are, but that's okay.
Charity
Yeah. So I was not really worried that they weren't gonna like me, but just, like, if I was gonna meet them and have that opportunity to deck before. But luckily, all is well.
West Prop
So.
Dotton
Wait, Joe. Joe, what about you? I know, obviously, like, yours is. You didn't have a hometowns on Bachelor tv, but, like, what about you and Serena? Like, was that a concern or, like, were you nervous? Because you're tough for you. You got engaged on the beach, which is like.
Joe
Yeah, yeah, it was. It was a tough situation because, like, her parents didn't love. Obviously, they. And rightfully so, they didn't love the idea of her daughter getting engaged to someone that they never met. And that was. That was a. That was initially a tough hurdle, and I kind of. I knew that going in Like, I knew. Like, I understood where they were coming from. I wasn't. You know, I wasn't gonna be, like, well, too bad. Like, I get it. Like, it's. It's a. It's kind of a up situation, but I'm. I'm similar to Charity, where, like, parents, they eventually. They eventually, you know, they break down. They love me, too, so it worked. It worked out. How's your grandmother?
Dotton
Oh, she's great. I just saw her two days ago. She was the last person I saw before I. I flew back to New York. She's awesome. Yeah, she's doing good. Looking the same as when y' all saw her on tv. Thriving. Yeah, she's doing really good. Yeah. Yeah. You remember her? Is she. Is she a memorable person? Is that what she is?
Joe
Yeah.
Charity
Yeah, that's. I think that's who everyone remembers.
Dotton
Crazy. Two seconds. Two seconds of screen time and, like.
Charity
More memorable than, said, the best bar in history. Bonded in heaven, period.
Jeremy
What you said.
Charity
You said, we're bonded in heaven in.
Joe
In.
Dotton
In Yoruba. Yeah.
Jeremy
Period. I know that. I know that's a native tongue. Thank you.
Charity
Yeah.
Joe
So, Jeremy, I. I. When I watched. I remember watching you on the show and watching Hometowns and you. And you. I'm a little shocked to hear that. You were like, oh, I thought, like, she was gonna choose me because I kind. I was like, you seem pretty realistic, and I just didn't think. I just didn't think you guys were there yet. Were you heartbroken? Were you heartbroken when you left?
Charity
Was the other hometowns?
Jeremy
What'd you say? Charity.
Charity
Sorry. Who was the. I'm trying to think who the other.
Jeremy
The final four were. Me, Devin, Marcus, and Jonathan.
Joe
Yeah.
Jeremy
Yeah. Was I heartbroken? I'm not gonna say I was heartbroken. I was definitely a little sad.
Dotton
Yeah.
Jeremy
But, yeah, I definitely understand, like, if you're watching that without going through, like, the experience, you'd be like, oh, yeah, Jeremy's definitely going. Obviously not that.
Dotton
I knew you were going home.
Jeremy
Yeah, I'm sure you did. No, like, as a cast member, you don't know how the other interactions are, so you can only judge it based on yourself and.
Charity
Right.
Jeremy
I was pretty tunnel vision with it, so I actually did not think I was going home.
Charity
So I'm back.
Jeremy
I was like, okay.
Charity
Yeah, like, from audience perspective, it's like, what we see, like, but you're obviously living it. It's completely different. It went better than what was shown, is what you're saying.
Jeremy
Yeah, it definitely went better than what was shown. But also at the same point, I'm not going to just gas myself up. Like I was not. Me and her were not at that point yet. Like I was not in love with her at that point and other guys that express that. So it all. It all worked out.
Charity
Yeah.
Jeremy
Once.
Joe
Once it was over, it was. Was it over or she. She's single. Did you like reach out after or anything like that or.
Jeremy
No, I don't think she's single. But now we. We.
Joe
Well, she was single for. She was. She was single for at least a couple days after.
Dotton
Joe think he slick.
Charity
He does.
Dotton
He trying to. He trying to get this podcast a million views, please.
Charity
He should, I think. I mean, we can give Jeremy a little bit of credit. I think he is a little bit of a gentleman and he would have probably waited if he wanted to reach out to Jen. But we. We all watched the finale. It was not good timing. It would have never been good timing. I don't think so. All is well.
Jeremy
Good timing for a dance part.
Dotton
Yeah, I was gonna say.
Charity
I'm out of the conversation now. I have nothing else to say.
Joe
This episode of Bachelor Happy Hour is brought to you by Malibu. When the clock hits 5:01, it's not just the end of your day, it's the beginning of your time. Time to kick back, turn off the work brain and turn up the good vibes. Malibu is here to turn your after hours into island hours where the only thing on your to do list is fun. I personally love hanging out with friends in the backyard, unwinding, telling stories, having some great drinks. It is my favorite. You deserve to unplug, unwind and feel like you're on vacation, even if you're just in your backyard. And a great way to do that is with a delicious Malibu pina colada. Whether it's on the patio with friends at a front porch hang, or just catching that sunset with someone special, make the moment matter. Clock off with Malibu because life's too short not to do whatever tastes good. Sip easy. Enjoy Malibu responsibly. Copyright 2025, imported by Pernod Ricard USA.

You're ready. You have Nexplanon etnogestrel implant, 68mg radio pack to prevent pregnancy. Nexplanon is a non daily prescription birth control for women that goes in your arm and may take a few minutes to insert by your doctor. Don't use nexspanon if you're pregnant or may be pregnant, have or had blood clots or certain cancers, have liver disease, liver tumor or unexplained vaginal bleeding. Once the implant is placed, you and your doctor should feel for it. If at any time you can't feel the implant, contact your doctor right away and use a non hormonal birth control method such as condoms. Removal of the implant may be difficult or impossible if it isn't where it should be while in common ectopic pregnancy. Pregnancy that occurs outside the womb can occur, which can cause serious internal bleeding, infertility and even death. You are likely to experience changes to your period. Ovarian cysts may occur and usually disappear. Nexplanon may raise the chance of serious blood clots, which can cause heart attack, stroke or death, especially if you smoke or have other risk factors. Nexplanon doesn't protect against HIV or STDs. With less than one pregnancy per 100 women who use Nexplan for one year, Nexplanon is over 99 effective. No matter the fantasy, talk to your doctor. Call 1-877-467-5266 or visit nexplanon.com for more information. Ask your doctor about Nexplanon all right.

West West Prop here from Hood Politics with Prop podcast. You already know our get down. If you grew up in our urban areas of comfort, of struggle, you understand politics much more than you give him credit for. Feds taking over American cities, government hop out boys hopping out the van, snatching up yothio and them two wars that was supposed to be solved in 24 hours. Jerry just out here mandering all over the place, the turfs and of course the Epstein of it all. Well this week we decided to shoot our shot and boy did we pull up from the logo to see if we could get somebody to come tap in with us. And the one and only Jamil Hill pulled up from the Politics podcast to keep it a whole century.

Honey German
Oh, wow. That's a real G talk right there.
Joe
Oh, yeah.
Honey German

Jeremy, you. You mentioned that you're not.
Dotton
You're.
Joe
You don't want to go to paradise. You're probably not going to the Paradise. There's a chance you're going to paradise. But you've also said that you've met some of Grant's girls. Can you tell us who you met?
Jeremy
Yeah, I've met. I've met Alex. I met Beverly. I met Chloe, Seraphina.
Joe
Any, like, any spark flying with anyone, like.
Jeremy
No, this. This is just, like, friendly encounters. Like, first time meeting them. They're all good people.
Joe
But did you guys, like, say, like, hey, like, are. Are you going to paradise?
Charity
Are you thinking about paradise? Conversation exchange?
Jeremy
No, there was not.
Joe
Okay, so stepping away from the show for a minute, Charity and Dotton, you're in New York. Anything. Anything new upcoming? What are you doing?
Charity
Living life. It's really, like. I'm sorry, we don't have much to give I know, like, what everyone wants to hear, but we have just. We are not speaking out on that until we have everything solidified, until we are ready to, like, speak out and move forward with everything.
Joe
I was really just, like, curious if you guys were, like, going out to dinner this weekend. I wasn't like.
Dotton
That'S so.
Charity
Why.
Dotton
Why?
Charity
You just.
Joe
I don't know why you're coming at me.
Dotton
Like, coming at you.
Charity
I just, like. It's like, okay, what's the. What's the update? And, like, I always feel like that's the update. People are like, okay, what's next? And it's like, well, yes, we will be going out to dinner. Would you like to come, Joe?
Joe
Like, yeah, yeah, yeah, I would, actually. I would. Serena's been gone. Serena's been on a cruise, so I.
Jeremy
Live in New York, too.
Joe
Saturday. Yeah, but you're in LA right now, Jeremy.
Jeremy
I'll be back Monday. Give me a break.
Joe
All right.
Charity
Okay.
Joe
All right. We could all do. We could all go out this weekend coming up or next week on a cruise. Next weekend.
Dotton
Serena's on a cruise without you?
Joe
Yeah, she's on a cruise without me.
Dotton
You know what they say. That's what I'm saying.
Charity
I have a child.
Joe
Honestly. Honestly, like, I'm not worried about a guy that goes on a cruise. A single guy.
Charity
Exactly.
Dotton
Could be less concerned.
Joe
Jeremy. How about. How about you? When are you. You come back to New York? What do you got going on?
Jeremy
Yeah, I wish I. I had, like, a huge life update, but, no, I'll be back in New York in a few days and chilling. It's cold. I'll probably be on my couch, go to whatever events I get invited to, and. Yeah, cool. Nothing crazy.
Joe
Wait, Charity, are you going to the women tell all? No. Right?
Charity
No, I will not be there.
Joe
But you are going to afr.
Charity
Listen, if the universe aligns, yes, I will be present. Front row.
Dotton
Okay.
Joe
Okay, how about predictions for Grant season? Who do you think he's going to end up with? Who's going to get their heart broken?
Charity
Okay, so right now, after hometowns, I think top two would easily be Latia and Juliana. I just. I had my thoughts on amazing, incredible girl, but I just don't see it with her and Grant. I am wanting more from Juliana in Grant's relationship, and right now, I think Latia is his strongest. His strongest, like, relationship. So I am very excited to see this all unfold. Yeah, it seems like things will get a little dicey, so I would love to be at afr.
Joe
Okay. I like that. I, I agree with you.
Jeremy
Yeah, guys. Yeah, I, I, I agree with Charity. I think that's the final two. I mean, I'd be shocked if it wasn't. I loved Latia's hometown with Grant. I think they have something special. I loved her little conversation with her grandpa and then her mom after she. She seems like a super quality girl, but I love to be at AFR too. Guys.
Joe
How about you?
Charity
I know, don't give us like some realistic answer. Come on.
Dotton
No, I'm gonna piggyback off what y' all said.
Joe
Really?
Dotton
I mean, yeah, I was surprised. Like, I was fully expecting actually a pretty bad hometown because of the whole Mormon things. But I forgot the Mormons are like the nicest people on Earth, so of course it went well. And they're like super sweet and. Yeah, she had a really, really sweet hometown. Dina. I feel bad for her. I feel so bad. No, truly, like, so sad. She was strong. She was a little ice queen. So I don't know. I don't know if they were, they were end game anyways. I'm trying to think who else? Who are the last two again? There's Julian. Yeah. I think Zoe was a potential. I see, I actually see a, like, I don't know, based on the little. I know, like some similarities between him and Zoe. And I think there's a lot of potential that. What? He hasn't taken out a one on one yet, so it's not, it's kind of untapped. But out of all the four, I feel like that's the one that he should definitely explore the most and, and that there's potential otherwise. Yeah, it's Lydia. So I see Lydia and Zoe. Oh, sorry, Latia.
Joe
That is true. That is true though. I forget, like, Mormons are like the nicest. I would have left that house, been like, I'm not Mormon, but like, you guys are so happy. I'm gonna be more. No, literally, you're doing, you're doing something right. Because this looks great.
Dotton
Yeah. Yeah. Beautiful family, giant house.
Joe
You know, everyone's smiling. Like, they're smiling the whole time. This is, this is fantastic.
Dotton
Yeah.
Joe
Okay, one more. If there, if there was going to be a Bachelorette season, who would you have liked to see as the lead from this season?
Jeremy
I think it depends on who wins or not.
Dotton
Like, I.
Joe
Well, let's, let's just, let's just figure. Yeah, let's just figure. Grant picks no one. Right. Like who?
Jeremy
Okay.
Joe
Out of everyone, would you like to see be the lead?
Jeremy
I, I Could see it being Latia.
Dotton
Yeah, Yeah, I agree. I would say not. Not Latia, actually. I would say. I mean, who do I want? Who I want, I guess would be Alex. I don't know. She seems chill, seems smart, cool, normal.
Jeremy
Yeah. Alex too.
Dotton
I mean, yeah, I think Carolina would make for interesting tv. You know, if you're looking for that.
Charity
I feel like. And you said it. Alex is normal, but like her one liners this season delivered and I feel like that's a side that probably didn't have to come out as much or probably she wouldn't want. Has want to come out as much with like the girls, but like on a season of your own, it would inevitably come out. And I feel like she would have a great season. And also I would pick Latia if she.
Dotton
Yes, of course. Miss. Miss Build a bear workshop you. You love could have one liner.
Charity
Listen, Alex was chill. She kept her demeanor, but she also. She let it be known. And like, I respect that. Let it be known. Okay.
Dotton
Right, right. I see. I see her in you.
Jeremy
I see that.
Joe
I think. I think Alex would have had a messy season too, because I think a lot of guys. A lot of guys would have fell hard for her and it would have caused a lot of commotion in the house.
Charity
House, exactly.
Joe
That's what we need. That's what we need. But we're gonna need. We just gotta see now if Jeremy goes to paradise. You guys, thank you. Thank you so much for taking the time charity. You've been a great co host. You come back anytime. And to all our listeners listening to Bachelor happy hour, we really appreciate it. Make sure you subscribe, download. Podcast: Bachelor Happy Hour
Hosts: Joe Amabile, Charity Lawson (guest co-host, former Bachelorette)
Guests: Dotun Olubeko (Charity’s fiancé), Jeremy (recent Bachelor franchise alum)
Episode Theme: A candid, behind-the-scenes roundtable about life post-show, season 29 of The Bachelor (starring Grant), the intricacies of Bachelor relationships and friendships, and some good-natured franchise predictions.
This episode brings together Bachelor Nation favorites Charity, her fiancé Dotun, and Jeremy for an energetic, chemistry-filled conversation. As they catch up with host Joe, the group dishes out personal updates, hot takes on Grant’s season, and predictions for the franchise’s future stars. Throughout, fans get an inside look at the real friendships, post-show dynamics, and the untold details left off-screen.
Travel and Couple Updates:
Bachelor Alumni Friendships:
On cast friendships:
“I think I would say we have the closest season ever in Bachelor history...all the guys were tight.” — Dotun (06:36)
On Grant’s season:
“He’s got a different personality...but nothing bad. I think he’s doing okay, you know?” — Dotun (10:30)
Paradise speculation:
“I will bet ABC's bank account that he will be.” — Dotun (09:38)
On Bachelor breakups:
“As a cast member, you don’t know how the other interactions are, so you can only judge it based on yourself and...” — Jeremy (27:59)
Parental support:
“If my feelings are strong, then it’s going to be okay and I’m going to move forward.” — Dotun (23:00)
Who should be Bachelorette:
“Her one liners this season delivered and I feel like...it would inevitably come out. And I feel like she would have a great season.” — Charity on Alex (41:22)
Bachelor optimism:
“I'm not going to just gas myself up...Me and her were not at that point yet. Like I was not in love with her at that point and other guys had expressed that. So it all worked out.” — Jeremy (28:18)
The conversation is warm, slightly chaotic, and loaded with friendly jabs and Bachelor in-jokes. Charity and Dotun share honest, sometimes silly reflections on fame, their relationship, and the nature of reality TV. Jeremy adds refreshing realism about competitive delusion in the “bubble.” It’s a must-listen (or read!) for fans who want to know what really happens post-filming, how deep contestant bonds run, and who Bachelor Nation’s most plugged-in alumni think should get the next shot at love on primetime.
