We are live tonight at the Golden Bachelor. Women tell all. What an evening. What a night. These women are gorgeous. I can't even sharing their emotions. I mean, you have to tune in. There was so much tonight. It is so much. And they look beautiful. Seeing Mel, I just got to meet them for the first time tonight. It's amazing. Okay. With Jared and the teasing. Yeah, this. This has been a great night, but let's. Let's get into it right now. Let's get into these fabulous. Here we go. Here we go. Welcome to Golden Hour. I'm so happy to be here. How are you? I am good. Tell us, tell us, how did you feel seeing all the women again? Oh, God, that's a highlight because I miss these ladies so much. And, you know, the just waiting and waiting yesterday was just. Come on. It was like torture. And we were just like, we're like teenagers. We know exactly how you feel. But the best. You shared so much emotion. And how did that feel? How did that feel? And seeing Mel tell us all. We're dying. Oh, my God, I was so excited to see Mel again. I mean, I have processed and worked through everything. And also watching the episodes, you know, it gives you a lot of clarity, right? And so I saw very clear that his heart was elsewhere and he had stronger connections. And it, you know, that makes it a little easier because you see it because you reason like you had. I saw you kept asking, was it because of this or because you do wonder? And, you know, I kept wondering that. And because I hadn't seen those episodes. So I did. You know, we worked through all the feelings. Right. It's such a roller coaster ride. But seeing him was great and he's lovely, and it was just fun. I just really enjoyed myself. How do you feel about your dating life going forward? Well, I'm excited because I really meant it. That he kick started my heart again. I love that. That was the best because, you know, I had given up for so long and just to know that, oh, my gosh, I can feel this again. And also having confidence again and knowing, wow, I made it to the final three. And that's big. That's huge. It's huge. I think everything you say, Debbie, resonates with women of our Age, the fact not having children, not having been married, the fact that you are confident. I love that you spoke to women about that. That's exactly where we came from. And I also admired you for watching and dealing with the Kohl's. What you didn't know because you weren't every there every second. And she's come a long way. Yes. I've talked to her myself and everything's great. But I really respect how you handled it. I was worried that it came off too harsh and I wasn't even going to say anything until she started talking about women empowerment and all that kind of thing. And I thought, well, that doesn't really match up with what she said about your season. And also I did feel dismissed by her. She dismissed my connection with Mel and other women and her comment, you know, when she went home, it just didn't hit right. And I just thought, gosh, I love this woman and what are you doing? And I just didn't understand it. And I was really disappointed in her and I was literally, I defended her every day to someone and until I, I saw that. Do you feel better that you got it out, like cleared the air? Yeah. But I also feel bad because she got very teary eyed and she was pretty upset with me and I get it, but you know, it's my truth. She hurt me and I just said I just want her to know that if these are the things you want to accomplish in life, this is not the way to go about it. And I hope that she heard that. I love that you're doing that again for other women. I just want to know what's next for you, Debbie. I don't know. I mean, hopefully I will find my person. I'm just so ready to just do life with someone. You love yourself again. You feel more empowered. I have been ready. I have been ready. It's just that every guy that I was set up with, either through matchmaking agencies or apps or whatever, it was always ending in disappointment or frustration. It's too lot of us. I know, but doesn't it feel great to have hope and know that you love yourself? And again, I have to congratulate you on the fact that you are giving women golden women hope and letting them know that life is not over. And that is a gift you are giving to all the women. So you know what? It's a hard time. That means a lot to me. It does. And being in love with yourself, whether you find a true love or not. Yes. Being okay with yourself, that is the most Important thing. And we took that off of our show. Yeah. Well, we love you and we thank you for stopping by. It's been fun. You are, you. You're in our lives. You're in our lives. Welcome to the family. And you represented Goldens really well. I really appreciate that. Thank you. Nothing but blessed. Thank you. Thank you so much. Take care, Debbie. You too. Welcome to Golden Hour. Nicole, we're glad to have you. Thank you so much for having me, Both of you. You beautiful. So many questions asked. Yes. Okay. You seem like you had a bit of a tough time today. Can you tell us about it? Yes, it was. It was challenging, but I do think it was healthy. I appreciated all of the beautiful friends that I have because they are all my friends expressing themselves. It was valid. I listened and, you know, I told them that I wanted to do better, and so it was fine. I think the only time I got a little bit dysregulated when I was. Was when after four different women said things that there was a fifth and I just needed a breath in between that kind of. But I do know how to regulate my own nervous system, so I know how to get myself back to balance and back to center. So I just did some breathing and I was fine. But did it help you understand what other people saw? You know? Thank you. We've got all our hands. Thank you. I love you guys so much. Yes, of course. Yes, of course. It was helpful. Of course. And also I had to watch myself, so it was a little horrifying at times. So that's very cringe words. Yeah, cringe. I don't even like the sound of my voice, let alone. How do you feel now? How do you feel now? Some of the things you said. How are you feeling now about those things you said? And do you feel like you're a different person now than you were back then? Yeah, I think I've even grown. I mean, I'm really into a personal growth journey. And we all have moments when in front of. Especially in front of a camera where we're like, oh, you know, I sort of forgot that was there sometimes. But, yes, I feel like I have done some soul searching since the. Since leaving the show. Any regrets? You know, I. I regret in general is a kind of. I think it's in some ways pointless. But learning from it is. Is. Is the way to go. So. Yeah. So that. And I have to ask you, how was it seeing. Thank you. The women again? Which. It sounds great. How was it seeing Mel again? Oh, wow. You got choked up. Again? Yeah. I got choked up. Yeah. I was surprised. I really was. Well, I had a lot of feelings, so, you know, it was hard to see him. I've missed him. Do you feel like you have the closure that you need? Yes, absolutely. You know, I think that closure is an inside job. I don't. It's about a personal thing. It's a personal thing. I don't need it. I won't get it from anybody but myself. Right. And so I have absolute closure. Yes, Yes. A real quick one. And I hope you find this. Do you want to tell America that we're better looking than what you thought? Are we better looking in person? Yeah. I want to say one thing to America. When I saw both of you come in to the Bachelor mansion, I was like, they're drop dead gorgeous. Wait a minute. We'll take it. Thank you. I really did. You know, the way you guys are in person is unbelievable. On your beauty inside of. I love that you mentioned about women's empowerment because that's being part of this family. We feel like that's what it's all about. It is what it's all about. And I wish we could have talked about that more. And I wish that as a collective, our cast could have focused a bit more on that instead of lemon bars, because that's taking the credit. But we did find out she had 70%. I had the majority. Aside from. Aside from I've been spoofing myself. I'm good at being self deprecating and making fun of myself. I'm absolutely fine. What is your plan? Yeah, what is your future plan besides the cookbook? Besides making lemon bars for us, what's your next plan? You know, I don't have a plan yet. I think I'm just was waiting for the show to wrap or my partner to see how I was feeling, to see what I want to do. And you know, of course I would. I really had a wonderful time. I was just gonna say in a word, tell me time of my life. Time of my life on the show, More than a minute, four words. We'll let you slide. Time of my life. I'm sorry I'm not a one word girl. So do you. But do you feel like you are a different person now? Well, every experience shapes us and helps us grow. I'm a different person than I was before the show. I'm a different person than I was since the show. How do you feel different? I feel different now because I've learned so much and learned much. About yourself? About myself. Are you dating? Not yet. Well, I want you. We love meeting you. We love your honesty. We love hearing about your growth journey. We want you to come back on the podcast another time. I would love that. We want to hear all about what's going in your life. Thank you for stopping by today. Thank you guys so much. I love you both. We love you. I'm glad we chatted. I'm glad we did too. Welcome to and we're glad that you saw. Thank you. We're glad that you saw that we could be beautiful. We're not that bad. Thanks for stopping back. Thank you guys so much. It was wonderful. I need a hug too. You guys are so wonderful. Yeah. Love you friends forever. Love you too. Love your family. And I think I want this whole outfit. Oh yeah. I've never done a live recording before podcast. I've just never done it. This week, on the Bright side, Chrissy Teigen, like you've never heard of before. I think I showed the messiness of life, like even before kids. So, like it was kind of a natural thing just to show every part of it. After kids too, from viral moments to real life motherhood. Chrissy opens up about what it means to live life out loud, even when it's hard. When Miles was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, I remember feeling like, okay, I want to get this right for everybody that's depending on us. Chrissy talks about turning fear into advocacy, building community, and finding joy in a very full house. I had four kids for a reason. I love the chaos of it. This live conversation is raw, funny and full of heart. Don't miss it. Listen to the Bright side on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. All I know is what I've been told, and that's a half truth is a whole lie. For almost a decade, the murder of an 18 year old girl from a small town in Graves County, Kentucky went unsolved until a local homemaker, a journalist, and a handful of girls came forward with a story. I'm telling you, we know Quincy killed her. We know a story that law enforcement used to convict six people and that Got the citizen investigator on national tv. Through sheer persistence and nerve, this Kentucky housewife helped give justice to Jessica Curran. My name is Maggie Freeling. I'm a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist producer. And I wouldn't be here if the truth were that easy to find. I did not know her and I did not kill her or rape or burn or any of that other stuff that y' all said. They literally made me say that I took a match and struck and threw it on her. They made me say that I poured gas on her from Lava for good. This is Graves County, a show about just how far our legal system will go in order to find someone to blame. America, y' all better wake the hell up. Bad things happens to good people and small towns. Listen to Graves county in the Bone Valley feed on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts and to binge the entire season ad free, subscribe to Lava for Good plus on Apple Podcasts. Carol, welcome to Golden Hour. Thanks so much for coming. Thank you for having me. Good to have you. Tell me, tell us. We want to hear. How was it seeing all the women again for the first time? Fantastic. It was unbelievable. I missed them. And we had. I'm sure you're family all together. Yeah. No, really. I know. And people say. Oh, were they. No, they actually were. These girls are going to be. Can I say girls? Women. Girls or female? Female. Okay. Whatever. I'm not politically correct. I'm sorry. Anyway, so I had the best time of my life with them. I really did. I. I have some friendships that I'll have for the rest of my life. First of all, I find you very amusing. Especially the bloopers. I don't know where that even came from. Some old Anglican speech, I guess. I don't know. What about saying something to Mel. How'd that make you feel, addressing him tonight? Yeah, we want to know. Good. No, I just. Did you hear what I said to him? Because. No. Okay. So when I went. I don't know if you. The night I talked to you. Right. So I went and I said, oh, you know, you gotta remember, no one's nice looking. Everyone. Yeah. Very handsome. I said it three times. I know. That was. And Jesse said about twice more for you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But you gotta remember, everyone's telling me about him. Yeah. So I know all these things about him already. Plus, I stopped him before I even. You Googled, So I know everything. So then I go there. I'm like, what do I talk about? I want this to make you snore. That's why I said tonight I could have asked, do you snore? It was so hard for us to hear where we were sitting. But I want to ask you, Carol, how hard was it? I value that you were able to self eliminate. Tell me how that felt to do it. You talked a little bit about it tonight, but facing Mel and talking about that, well, you know, it wasn't an easy decision at all. And, you know, there's a lot that led up to it, to tell you the truth. Tell us. Yeah, well, that earlier that day, I had something in my heart. I need to call my dad. So. My dad's 89 and I. You know how he's not. He's actively. He walks. He's 89. No. He's in better shape than all his kids. Okay. He still works for my brothers and whatever, so. But something. I just missed him. I really missed him. So I was a little emotional before that day, and then I already had the roast going into that night, and then my roommates got eliminated. So I was by myself in that room. And I thought to myself, tomorrow, if I don't get that single date, that's gonna tell me a lot. One on one. If I don't get that one on one, I'm the only one who hasn't had that extra time with them. And how did that feel tonight when you addressed that with Mel? I guess. Okay. He didn't really, you know, he didn't really give me anything about it, but that's okay. Give. No. So it's like, you know, hence the self elimination. And there it is. There it is. So. So the best thing for you, it sounds like, was the friendships that you made with the women coming out of this. Yes. And don't get me wrong, Mel, I was very attracted to him. I liked him. I had a big man. No, I really did like him. We know you thought he was nice. Logo. Yeah, no, we know that, Susan. Susan, we know that. Do you think Carol thought Mel was just a little. No. He's totally my type. And I'm very proud that you went in for the kiss. I know you were struggling with that because a kiss means a lot to me. And then you gotta remember I'm very traditional. So when all these other women are going for him, it made me retrieve a little bit. It made me like, like, oh, you know. And of course, the premise of the show, you got to go for it. Right? Right. So I knew. I got the memo. I know what you're supposed to do. I had to rewire my brain. Did you feel different? I'm sorry, Kathy. Did you feel differently after you kissed them? Like more comfortable, more. Not after the first kiss, but after the second kiss. Geez, we're counting kisses here. Holy. No. I know. It was unreal. I should have done more. I should have taken Nicole lead, really. You know what? So what's on your future plate? What have you. What do you. What do you think your future's gonna hold for you? Okay, well, you know what? If this actually helped me define what I really want? A man. Oh, do tell. You've got about 10 seconds. 10 seconds, list it. What do you want? So one thing about Mel, he's very engaging. I know. Believe it or not, he really is. When you're talking to him, he's looking at you. He's paying attention. I like that. And now, you know, I haven't had that before. Okay, so here it is, all you eligible men out there who are engaging. Carol is available, however. Carol, the lines forms behind me. Always. Carol, we'd love to have you back on our podcast. Thank you. Thanks for having us. And thank you. I love you and you look beautiful tonight. Thank you. And both of you do, too. Thanks. Thanks for joining. Thank you. Okay, see you. Okay, bye. Gary. Welcome to Golden Hour. We are so glad you're here. Yeah. We've got so many questions. First of all, stunning dress. Do you feel good? I feel amazing. First of all, let me say you two look beautiful. Thank you. The color. I love color. Thank you. Love color. Okay, so tell us, what is the. What was the. Like, seeing the women tonight? What's the best thing about tonight for you? The women. The women. The women. It was like, is Mel just a distance? Is he involved at all? He really isn't. But really, I mean, when we saw each other, we screamed. On the boat. On the. On the bus. Yes. Scream. I was gonna say what boat? We were. I know. I felt like a boat. I felt like. I mean, it was just so. I could not wait to see them. I being. It's your family now. It's fa. You're all family now, right? They're my sisters. They are my sisters. Did anything not happen tonight that you wished it or spoke about or. Everything was good. Everything was good because at the end, I was able to talk to Mel. I didn't like. I wish I would have went more in depth with my question when he asked me if I had a question for him. So what did you talk about? What was it that you said? I said to Him. Thank you. Thank you for really opening me up. Let me feel those butterflies. Everybody feels grateful for this. Oh, I'm so grateful. That little tingle down there, ladies. Is that little tingle. Haven't felt that tingle. So is that the biggest change in your life that you feel like you're open? Tell us what's the biggest change from being on the show that I am. I'm open. I'm really ready today. It's my time. It is so much fun. You have talked so much about it being your time in the 18 years and you've taken care of everyone and the dog. Even the dog. I have two cats, by the way, that need a home. If you're. No Divis with somebody taking. He's not coming back till Monday. No. All right, well. So where do you see yourself? What's in your future? We're asking everyone. What happens next? Dating. I'm ready to date. So will you just put yourself out there for the DMs to come in? Well, I don't even first. I don't know what they are but direct message. That's what they said. I think I'm. When I met my husband, I put an existence assistance I prayed for. I said I am ready to marry a doctor and that's my guy. That's all you gotta say. Kathy, send me a doctor. You have not. Because you've asked. Not. Ask them what you want. Be very specific. Okay. Intentional. Very. I want handsome good in bed. That's very important. I want it all. I'm telling you. And I have. Well, can I just tell you. You are beautiful. You should have it all. So you know, there's that. Were you surprised by anything that any of the other ladies talked about tonight? Did anything surprise you? I guess I know was. Was there any stress in the house that we didn't know about is you all seem very. Which we were too very close. Was there any kind of stress? Not. I didn't see any stress. Were you part of the lemon bars? I want to know. Yeah. Did you. Yeah. Did you do anything with those lemon bars? Were you besides 30? Because we know Nicole had 70%. Where were you in the 30%? Well, I was like really? The 10%. Okay. But my thing was. And I even said it. I didn't get to taste them. That was my. You didn't eat any? Because I never got any. Let me guess. You're another one who doesn't eat sugar. No, I really love sugar and fresh guys. Good, good, good. Part of us. Yes. But I didn't Get a chance. And my kids, when they saw me in the kitchen, like, you don't even bake, Mom. What are you doing in that kitchen? That was the thing, going home to them. Oh, my God. That was difficult, you know, going back when, after, when I left. It was. It was. But I didn't say anything to them about giving the first impression. Rose. So we sat there that Wednesday. My daughter was getting married that Saturday. So we're having a small. Yeah, a lot going on, small watch party. Because we're having a big watch party on October 4th. But my hometown, Newport, Rhode island, they had a big watch party. You're from Newport, Rhode Island? I am. I'm from Boston, Massachusetts. I knew I loved you. Are you a Patriots fan? Hell yeah. Okay. I mean, a Tom Brady fan. Yeah, I know, right? But you know, he's gone. I mean, he's trying to learn how to speak on. I know, we'll talk, we'll talk. But big, big Patriots, Boston Celtics, huge. Yeah. Bruins, Bruins, yeah. Red Sox. So. So in your future, besides rooting for the all the Boston teams and putting yourself out there and putting yourself out there. Is there. Can you give us in one word your experience on the show? Magical. Magical. And one word about tonight. Non magical. Wisdom. Wisdom. Wisdom. Well, we thank you for bringing your beauty, your wisdom and your fabulous smile to us tonight. And that hair. And we loved having you. And thank you. We're so glad you stopped by to chat with us tonight. And we'll sing more of us. You will. Who doesn't dream of a bra you won't want to rip off when you get home? Chrissy talks about turning fear into advocacy, building community and finding joy in a very full house. For almost a decade, the murder of an 18 year old girl from a small town in Graves County, Kentucky went unsolved until a local homemaker, a journalist and a handful of girls came forward with a story. I'm telling you, we know Quincy killed her. We know a story that law enforcement used to convict six people and that got the citizen investigator on national tv. Through sheer persistence and nerve, this Kentucky housewife helped give justice to Jessica Curran. My name is Maggie Freeling. I'm a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist producer and I wouldn't be here if the truth were that easy to find. I did not know her and I did not kill her or rape or burn or any of that other stuff that y' all said. They literally made me say that I took a match and struck and threw it on her. They made me say that I poured gas on her from Lava for good. This is Graves County, a show about just how far our legal system will go go in order to find someone to blame America, y' all better wake the hell up. Bad things happens to good people and small towns. Listen to Graves county in the Bone Valley. Welcome to our golden hour. Am I going to be this beautiful someday? You are. First of all, let me just say this dress on you is stunning. Thank you. But we have so many questions in so little time. How emotional were you you today? Oh my gosh. I met your family right in front of us and they said to me, don't tell our mother. Don't tell our mother. Really? My grandmother, my. I couldn't believe it. My son, my two granddaughters, my daughter in law, they had you facing the screen. And then he goes, well, look back, there's a couple people. I look back and I used to. They were right in front of Us, like a couple people. Okay, we have questions. I want to. I mean, I'm glad your family's here, but I want to know, how was it facing Mel tonight? Because we really thought. We were so shocked when you went home, and I'm sure you were as well. So talk to us a little bit about that. Yeah. Feeling like a princess. Thank you so much. It was beautiful. I mean, we. You really. It was a princess date. You are a princess. So tell me how beautiful. So that first date was amazing. You know, I felt the chemistry. He's the man. Like, he is the man. This is it, you know? And he has that masculine look. He's funny. He does play outside of the lines a little bit, and I kind of like that, you know? So do you? Oh, I do a little bit. Yeah. So was it hard to see him tonight? Yeah, I was happy to see him. He looked really good. Handsome as could be. He. He looked amazing. You're hugged. When you hugged him, you could just feel the emotions. You made a statement that I want to be. Be friends. Oh, yes, definitely. And that wouldn't bother you that he's with somebody else who would still. Yeah. I would like to remain friends, you know, why not? And if he has somebody, I think it is. Yeah, she's amazing. How did you feel seeing all the other women? Oh, it was great. They're my sisters. Oh, my God. Do you love them? Did you ever think. Because we. Did you ever think you would make the friendships, Never mind dating a handsome man? Oh, did you ever think the friendships, your expectations coming in. How did that. Oh, my God. Yeah. No, it was way different than what you thought because, you know, I've been working, watching my mom. I don't have time for friendship with a woman or a man. And friends, you know, are great. I've got some, but it's hard to see it. So you went pretty far. And when he didn't call your name game, how did it feel? It hurt. It really did. Yeah. It was watching you in that car. Well. And I got in that cold ice plunge. Oh, God, that hurts. Going downhill, man. I know. Fast. I was, like, dodging that ice was like, wow. I was sitting. Literally. Yeah. No, we saw. When I sat on. You're like, I can't do it because he's so big. And he was just like, here. I got in, and it was like, life. So what did you. Sorry. What did you learn about yourself? Yeah, this. In this journey, what did you learn? A lot. I learned that, you know, you can have that passion for A man. And you need to go for it. If you're. If you see a man that you've got some feelings for, go for it. Don't say, let him know. It doesn't always work out, but. Right. It doesn't. But hey, this was a chance. Once in a lifetime chance. You feel a little stronger about yourself. Yeah, I feel like. Yeah. Are you ready to date? Yeah, I'm ready to date. We can make money. Cats. I mean, let's go. Hey, I'll go with you guys. You're gonna attract all the dudes. You gotta get behind Kathy. You just have to get behind Cathy. You need to know the line for. Okay, well, your first, then second. She's gotta go. What are you talking about? She's got a guy. Yes, I do. You do have a guy. I saw you. Tell me in. In a word, if you can, your experience. How would you describe it? Incredible. Incredible. So the pain is gone now. It's holiness. It really is holiness. That's wonderful. Do you feel like your life is going to be different going forward? What about your life is going to be different? Yeah, it's going to be different. What? Tell us. I want to smile like you girls. You do smile like us. You do. And you know, I just want to get on an adventure. I want to continue this adventure. And I think now I'm going to be strong as a woman because I know that there's so many people out there that are. What do you want to say to those people out there? What is your message to those women out there? Oh, my message is get out and show yourself. It's not even always about finding a man. No, it's just being good to yourself and go do what you want to what makes you happy. Dress up, be a princess. I love that. You are the princess, honey. Can I just say, you didn't make him. He did not make you the princess. You are one. So with that happy thought. You're beautiful. We love you. Thank you so much for joining us on the podcast. Thank you. And thank you for coming. We're going to talk more. Mel, welcome, welcome, welcome to Golden Hour. We're so glad that you stopped by to chat with us. Thanks for having me. I really appreciate it. Are you nervous? Are you nervous right now with us? A little bit, yeah. Come on with us. Come on. Listen, I just met you and this is all about you, except for one thing. Do you have any older guys you can fix me up with? We can take care of that. Okay, now we're do tonight for us. Tell us in a. We only have five minutes here, Ma'. Am. I thought of a million words. Right. Yeah, yeah. No, but it was a great experience. Yeah. How was it seeing all the women again? Great, because, you know, obviously I know them, you know, and I got to know them, and seeing them again, it's like a reunion. You gotta know, because you were. You're in your own sorority fraternity, so to speak. Right? Yeah. So that's your group. Right. You're season one. I'm season two, and, you know, we're all together. Our group is together now. I'm part of your group, too. Welcome to the family. Like, you're born into it. You can't get out of it. Right. We're not letting you out. What was the hardest part for you tonight? The hardest part was, you know, just, you know, reliving some of the. Watching it back. Yeah. And then, you know, when some of the women that you let go and you really didn't have a chance to talk to them and explain or talk to them, you know, to sort of, you know, soothe each other's feelings. Right. Debbie was asking you, is it because I. Yeah. And it wasn't. Not even close. I didn't think of those things. Yeah. That's not even. Never came into my mind ever. Was the journey a lot different than you thought it would be? Yes. How so? I didn't. You know, it's just very unique, and it's. You know, it's like when you're in. It's 100 miles an hour, and, you know, it's intense, but you're also learning, and there's a lot of clarity when you're doing it, and you just sort things out quickly. You don't want to judge things, and you don't want to make the wrong choice. You are true. True. And I. I think, you know, based on my own personality, I made the right choices along the way. Oh, good. That's a great feeling. I love that. Remember when we first met and I said the Hulu. Yes. And I said, be true to yourself. Yes. Stop, breathe. And just focus on you and what makes you tick and what makes you feel. And I think you accomplished. And everybody who's been on the show, I took the advice because you went through it and you know exactly what I'm talking about. And I was telling my son, I. I go take advice from everyone. By the way, your sons are adorable. Oh, thank you. I love it. One's a tattletale, and the other one's. And Susan, by the way, had A canary that on your promo when the show started, you had dirty dishes in the sink. This. It drove her over the edge. Oh, you know, that's my son Andres, probably. Is he the one that talks? Yeah, but I've quieted him down a little bit. I tamped him down, you know. So, Mel, what is the. I want to know, what is the biggest thing you learned about yourself on this journey? What is something you learned? You know, that everybody talks about being vulnerable, but a lot of introspection because you meet, you know, I've met 23 women who have their own stories, and you sort of evaluate your story, you know, you know, against their story. Not against, but not comparing. Yeah, but you're sharing. Yeah, you're sharing. You're. You're like, oh, I had this story, you have that story. You know, what are the similarities? And, you know, where are. Where do they meet? How does that fit? Yeah, yeah. And you find out that, you know, there's a lot of humanity there and people like, love to share their stories and you pull things from it. And I learned all that along the way, and I'm always open to. To stories and, you know, in finding out about people. So that was really something special for me. How do you like the clouds that you walk on? The marshmallows. The marshmallows. Sorry. Everybody talked about the rose. Everybody's gonna be wearing them. Ufos. They're the best you have. What? I know. No, they're called ufos. Oh. Oh, yeah. My. Yeah. My grandson for Christmas. Over a hundred and some dollars for a flip flop slide. Yeah. But they're recovering the recovery shoes. So if you have. If you work out or you have a bad back or, you know, you fatigue after work, you wear them and they're just. They're actually walking like on cloud or. I want to know what is one word because, you know, we're not selling sneakers here. Love. What is the one word? Love. That you would round this whole season? Love. Your toasts. We gotta wrap here quickly. But your toasts were always fun. Happiness and love. Yeah, yeah. Love, happiness and fun. Yeah, you did that. I noticed that. Yeah. Love, happiness and fun. Right? That's what it is. Yeah, that's what. That's what it's about. Right. It's a great. One last thing. Do you feel more relaxed, more open to receiving love and giving love now? You were a little uptight in the beginning, I gotta tell you. That's what I saw. I mean, we might. We might have called you stiff one certain twice or 300. Yeah, but, you know, but we love you. It's like. It's like just trying to figure it out, right? Yeah. You don't want to. You don't want to go overboard, you know, right off the bat, you want to, you know, take it slowly. You got to find out what the people are. Well, now you're here and. And now we have to wrap it up. So we can't take it slowly. I'm going to be back on your show, though, right? We're just going to ask. We want you. Would you come back to our show? Just let me know. We would love to have you and we hope you're happy. Are you. Are you on for an hour? Depends. I want the whole hour. Okay. I don't want to come in there. We'll do two or three episodes. Shoddy deal. Like 20. 20 minutes. Like, you know, like we're gonna wade through all the commercials. We'll give you an hour. You got it. Thanks for joining us. And, Mel, we both wish you a lifetime of happiness. Yeah, thank you very much. Unfortunately, we went past our time once again, Kathy, I think this is it. Well, you know, it's. If you. If you love this, you just gotta tune in to golden hour. Go to bachelordnation.com. what's wrong? What's wrong with that? She said to do our usual sht. I know why you're laughing. Sounded funny. I don't know why. She's tired. She's. She's lost it. I'm so sorry. She started laughing, so it's when I'm hungry, I'm tired. Okay. Well, Kathy, we went past time. Once again, we have to end this great night. You know what? It was so much fun talking with all the women. And if you like this episode, you gotta tune in to the rest of them. Cause we've got more great guests coming up. Absolutely.
