All.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
This is crazy. It's crazy.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
I just gotta say, he's goodlook. He's a private wealth manager. This is like the trifecta.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
It really is. It really is.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
Can't get away. He's captive.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
I've had in months right now already. Kathy.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Kathy's already claiming Shane. Oh, my goodness. Okay, well, we're gonna hop right into everything, but I need to know, obviously, how are you feeling? There has been a lot that has transpired in the past week. I'm sure for you guys it has not been easy, but that probably comes with so many different emotions.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
Yeah. I mean, for us, I think obviously we're a part of this entire process, this entire journey, but we come maybe third, fourth or fifth in the line of importance of what's going on right now. The most important thing is a happy and healthy family for all parties involved right now. And you know, I'm praying for everybody that's involved in this situation. I'm praying for the kids especially. And I'm excited to, excited and look forward to seeing, you know, what more information comes about.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
But everybody, everybody that's involved right now, I would love for, I would love for them to come out of this, grow, feel, get better and overall, just. Just be happy.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah. I will say that we've talked to a few of the other guys already and I'm just really impressed by all of yalls like, outlook and perspective on this. Obviously it's hard and like, there's no sugar coating that, you know, it's like I have not been in your shoes of, you know, a season not airing as it's about to premiere and so I could only imagine. But I'm just really impressed by Yalls like, perspective on everything and being so positive. Because I think more importantly, like, than ever, is that that's just what's needed. You know, I don't feel like there's any, like, egos, you know, trying to take the forefront here. So I really admire you guys all being so uplifting about this.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
Yeah, I want to second that. It's amazing. It really is amazing how you guys. There's so many aspects of this that we don't really understand yet. But. But as we said the other day,
Sponsor Voiceover - Dietz and Watson
giving grace to her and understanding that it's a complicated. And you guys are.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
Are just, I'm sure, disappointed, but also in support. And two things can be true at the same time.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
Definitely. Definitely. And I think when it's. It's something that affects the home in the way that this does. You know, you're able to really being on the network at 8pm on Sunday doesn't matter exactly when it's. When it's such a. Such a big deal. And I think this cast, especially everybody has such a good heart and all the boys are. They're the best.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
So I want to know, how did you get on the show, Shang, how did. Tell me your journey to Bachelor Nation.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
It's been a long time coming, Kathy. I. I've been talking to Bachelor Nation for, like, the last three or four cycles, so.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Oh, wow.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
2020 or 2021. One of my best friends and my co workers put in, like, two separate applications for me and obviously thought it was a joke. So did I. And then, like, everybody, I get the random phone call. I'm like, what the hell?
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Like, who is this? Yeah, who is this?
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
But that was during my first year of law school, and I obviously didn't want to leave school, so turned it down. Then again, came back around for. And I was. I had a girlfriend and was in my, like, second or third year law school.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
No.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
And then when they announced Taylor, I signed the dotted line and here I am. Now I get to hang out with you two.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Oh, my God.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
I just gotta say, I heard that Rachel Recchia, and she said this on the record, that you're the hottest man to ever come through Bachelor Nation.
Sponsor Voiceover - Figs
Screaming.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
I'm. I'm just saying she.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
She's not with us today, obviously, but I can.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
It's my lucky day. It's my lucky day.
Rachel Recchia
If you.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
If you listen to. Yes, if you listen to our. When we were like, reviewing the cast, you guys, we were giving our little notes, and so obviously we came across yours. And I was like, oh, he's like, you know, perfect on paper, obviously very good looking. And then Rachel inserts probably the hottest guy in the franchise. And I said, okay, Rachel, you're shooting your shot, so I don't know if you caught that, but it's here. It's here. So do what you do with the information. Obviously, we don't know how the season turns out.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
Okay, okay, I'm back to mother role here. It was. It was fun while it lasted. Moving on.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
I cannot. I'm going to tell everybody about this.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
No, you should. I think you should. I like to start things a little bit.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
My Instagram bio to say hottest guy
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
in Bachelor and then quote Rachel Recchia. Exactly. Exactly. Okay. No, I'm like, how do we segue from this? Like, I don't know.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
I'll see you guys later.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah, it was. It was nice chatting. You know Tyler Cameron. How do you guys know each other? That's like, obviously Bachelor Nation, like royalty.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
So weirdly enough, my high school friend group. And do you remember when he had the whole, like, quarantine crew.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yes.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Thing going on?
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
Okay. Yeah. Tyler's the second hottest guy in Bachelor nation. Okay.
Sponsor Voiceover - Figs
I'm screaming.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
When Tyler had the whole quarantine crew thing going on. Somehow my high school friend group has become friends with the quarantine crew.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Oh, wow.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
My high school best friend. This is a girl named Kenna. They'll hear more about her in the season if it airs. She is dating Tyler's best friend.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Okay.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
And because of that, you know, before. Before I even went on, you know, I was talking to Tyler and whatever, and he's been nothing but supportive and helpful throughout this whole process and couldn't be more excited about or wasn't more like, couldn't have been less excited about Taylor Season was so excited for her and everything that's going on and gave me some good advice before I left.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
What was the advice?
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
He told me not to do what he did, which was he didn't speak to Hannah for like two weeks.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah. Okay, wait, I'm curious. Was the best friend Matt. Matt James?
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
No. No.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Okay. So different best friend.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
Yeah.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Okay. He was like, let's go about that.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
I don't know Matt.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Oh, you don't? Okay. I was like. Because he wasn't. He was there during or you don't know him, but your. Your friend group probably. Okay. Okay, that makes sense.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
So I want to know. I want to know. Like I said, you're handsome, private wealth manager, a lawyer. Like, I mean, what else is there to say? But you said that You've never met a stranger, and I'm exactly the same. Um, so I want to know, how did you. What shaped you into that kind of person?
Sponsor Voiceover - Dietz and Watson
Because I find that very interesting.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
I mean, when I was younger, in elementary school, I would come home every single day and have, like, little notes and write ups that said I won't shut the hell up in class. So I think it's been ever since I was born, I've just always wanted to do this.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
I don't know what it is. I. I come from a. A parental structure that is like, I have a New York City mother and a dad who's from a small dot in South Carolina. That is so.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Okay.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
Charming. Like, I don't know. I don't know. I just have, like, the two opposite ends of the spectrum that molded me. And then now I love to BS and also, like, have great, intimate, normal, caring conversations with people at the same time.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
I was gonna say that duo. Yeah, that duo will do it. New York City and then, like, Southern. I feel like Southern is like, the charming side, but New York, like, you have to, like, meet people, you have to talk. You, like, get it done, you know?
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
And. And you get it. I know you're from Georgia. You get it.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yes, exactly.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
Yeah.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
And I'm from Boston, so I get it.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
Okay.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Yeah.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
See, this is perfect. This is. I'm. I'm like your guys's baby.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah, exactly. Do you come from, like, a big family or, like, do you have, like, a lot of siblings?
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
I have two little brothers. My two little brothers are my best friends. I love those two little rats. But I always get jealous of my mom because she has. She had the, like, big Northeastern Italian family where, like, Thanksgiving is meeting every or seeing every single cousin and uncle all the way down to the number 30. That's what I want.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
Get started.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
I feel like I'm a little late
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
to the game, Kathy.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Years old, you have plenty of time. Plenty. Okay, tell us about your job, because you obviously heard me when we started this. I said, I need to understand what is a private world planner. What does this mean?
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
So I went to law school. I went to law school up in Boston, actually, Kathy. I did three years up there where I went to New England law. Boston.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
Got it.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
Three years there. Then came back down south and I realized that, like, everything. I just want to sit and talk to people. Like, I was never going to be good at drafting documents. I was never going to be good at writing briefs. Honestly, being in the courtroom, I. I don't know I would like.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
You don't you like. Yeah.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
No. I would have been so awkward and gross in there. So the next best thing for me was jumping into finance. So essentially, I'm just a glorified finance bro with two letters at the end of my name. Kind of bad.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
That's nice.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Yeah.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
I mean, it's not the greatest thing
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
to say out loud.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
Can you give us a hot stock tip? I mean, it's not illegal or anything. No one's listening.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Please, Kathy, let us rest today.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
Now, I just do. I do, like, trust and estate planning, tax minimization, asset protection. Boring stuff. Really. Yeah, it's, like, not that exciting.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
Protecting people's money is not a boring career. That's. Especially in these trying times, you know?
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
Yeah. The last five years, the market for this has really been booming, which has been nice. And I'm obviously at the point in my career, like, I graduated a year and a half ago, so I know nothing.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
Realistically, I just sit and listen and learn, and I've had a great experience throughout the past, what, year and a half. Slash, three or four years throughout all these times, to really learn so many different angles and parts of the market.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
That's amazing. Yeah. So fun. Okay. But on the flip side, I heard that you also have an interest in F1 racing. What's up? What's up with that?
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
I don't only have an interest in F1 racing. I have a crush on Charles LeClaire.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Please.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
I actually love this.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
I love that I have a Crush on Charles LeClaire. Did you. Did you see his wedding the other day? His relationship is also perfect. Like, when I look at. When I look at what I want, It's.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
Charles LeClaire. Oh. I mean, he. First of all, I am just a. I'm a Ferrari fan in F1.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Okay. Okay.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
Have you been to Austin? Have you come to Austin?
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
I was like, he got. He has to get to an F1 race.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
I've never been to an F1 race.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
It's likely it'll happen.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
I can hook. I can hook you up.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
I keep seeing. I keep seeing on Tick Tock, you guys probably see it, too, that, like, F1 races, stagecoach, coach. It's all taken from our cast, which is kind of funny.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Oh, wait, I was gonna ask. Are you guys not going to Stagecoach?
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
No, probably not. But I'm a Charles LeClaire fanboy. That's where it came from. If I ever get to meet him, my knees will shake, I'll stutter, and my face will turn red.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
So it's that intense. Okay, we gotta make this. I mean, like I said, it'll happen, but in due time. You gotta meet. You gotta meet your crush. Is this, like, celebrity crash? That's so funny to me.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
That's your celebrity crush. Without giving anything away, how did it feel? I mean, supposedly you wanted to date Taylor. Tell us about that date. And it went viral in real time. Like, what happened here? Without giving anything away, of course.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
Oh, my. How do I talk about this? When I got home. When I got home and I saw how viral that date was, I was appalled. It was also crazy to be in that moment when wherever I was, every single person around was screaming for her.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
What did I get myself into?
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
It was so crazy. Also, before a big moment that happened during that date, I was stuffing my face with, like, stuffing my face with sushi, Right.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Oh, love that for you.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
Yeah.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
Sounds like a really tough day there, Shane.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
Yeah, I was really going through it. I was really going through it that day. I played football in college, so, like, I was even that much more excited to be there and do whatever we did. Yeah. What position I played? Defensive end, slash nose guard. I weighed, like, 270 pounds. I will say, whenever anything went bad in my life, when I lived in Boston, I would find myself stuffing my face at Boba's. Almost like, after every heart exam.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
I'm like, what's bovas? Is that like an.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
Is that in the North End? Yeah. I mean, there's a little Italian bakery.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
Yeah. There's a bunch of really good restaurants. Charity in the North End of Boston. I highly recommend it. If you haven't been go.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
You'll get £20 in about 10 minutes.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Guilty.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Maybe. Okay. We'll have the time, though, but yes. Okay. I want to know. I guess we talked a little bit about just, like, how, you know, close the guys and you guys are as a cast. How was that dynamic initially? So, like, obviously you can probably tease a little bit of first night, what was those fears coming into the house and then how did that kind of, like, go away?
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
Yeah, I felt. I was so nervous, and anybody that goes through this thing understands, like, I sat in the car for an hour and a half outside of the mansion before my entrance, just sitting, like, quiet. My stomach hurt. I wanted to get out and run away. But once I got in the house. Once I got in the house, it honestly felt like I was, like, back in college again.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah, exactly. It's like a big party.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
It's just like a huge party. All of all of your, like, best friends, whether you're in, like, Greek life or play a sport or just have, like, this amazing friend group. That's exactly what it felt like. And the guys. My entrance was ridiculous. I look like an idiot. And the guys were so receptive to it. They thought it was so much fun, which was so nice. I was like, God, they're gonna roast me. But as soon as I got in there, they understood. They got it.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
Which was so. That was so thankful to be so accepted by some of them right when I got there.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
I also think that, I don't know, everybody's so much nicer than what it may seem like, and everybody likes each other so much more. So much more cool than what it really looks like. That's also the only question I really get, actually. I get to. What's Taylor, Frankie, Paul like? And did you. Did you actually like the guys?
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah, because it's like, it's one of those things that's like. And I was telling some of the other guys, it's like, obviously you guys are all competing for, like, one person, but it's like, at the end of the day, only one person can walk away with her, so it's like you hope to leave with, like, good friendships, and that's, like, the bulk of it. And, like, the most. I feel, like, the most. One of the most important parts, and it's sometimes such a rarity. So when you do just have, like, a cast that really gets along with each other, it's, like, so important. And I'm like, these are going to be, like, your lifelong friends. Like, I'm so serious. And I. I love that it's such a. That's across the board.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
It was the same on our season charity, on our golden season chain. The same thing. Some of us just really gelled, and we're still really good friends to this day. It's.
Sponsor Voiceover - Dietz and Watson
It's the.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
You know, it's the little gift you didn't know you were going to get when you signed up for this whole thing.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
You could find love in so many different ways through this thing, and this is definitely a form of that. I. I honestly, throughout everything that's happened, too, we've only gotten closer. Like, we've only bonded.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
I can imagine. Yeah.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
Yeah. Which is. Is. It is interesting, too, but I think, you know, with this cast and this group of guys, as weird as it is to say, and as hard as this has been, I wouldn't want to go through all of this with, like, any other group. Yeah.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Oh that's sweet. That's super sweet.

Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
Find out. Until May. Took it in February.

Amazing.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
Did you just take the bar for Georgia?
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
This is a different bar. I took a. Without giving. I took a different bar exam.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Okay. Okay, well, we're gonna say all the prayers, like, thank you so much, guys. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's amazing.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
It is also nice that I get to, like, not think about it for a few months.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
For sure. For sure. Yeah. I love that. Oh, my goodness. Yeah. That's huge. Okay, before we wrap, obviously, Bachelor Nation is so excited to get to know you guys and listen to all these podcasts. Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
All right, guys, today is April 2nd, and we are back with Rachel. Rachel, welcome back. I'm so happy. I missed you so much. So, so much.
Rachel Recchia
I feel like I have missed a million things since I have last been here. You have so much has happened. The last time I was here, Taylor was still going to be the Bachelorette that Sunday.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
That's actually crazy. It's been that long, and now I
Rachel Recchia
feel like we just have no idea what's happening. Everything is still so up in the air. I was away. I had a funeral. My grandpa passed away. So it's just been a crazy time. But I'm ready to be back and to get into everything. But I did listen to your episodes with Kathy, and what are your thoughts? Well, first of all, I mean, top of the episode when Kathy kept saying, this is on pause, I didn't even know that we were on pause. I thought this was just kind of done right.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Wait, you didn't.
Rachel Recchia
I didn't know.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
I don't, like, tell you to app. That's actually crazy.
Rachel Recchia
I found out on Bachelor Happy Hour.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Well, you know what?
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
The.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
The greatest place to get your Bachelor news. Hello.
Rachel Recchia
I really did hear it here first, but I thought what you said was just so amazing. And I know we've talked a little bit off camera and off podcast about what's happening, and I think coming from a mental health expert perspective, your take, obviously, is just so amazing. And I agree with everything you said, obviously. This is so unprecedented. Like, it's hard to put into words how I feel, because there was a child involved, so.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Right.
Rachel Recchia
There really is just nothing else you can say other than it's just horrible, the whole situation. And like you said, I hope to God everyone is getting the help they need and that this child is being protected and that she doesn't have to see any of this. That's just.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah.
Rachel Recchia
Immediately what I thought. But, yeah, this is just such a crazy situation.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
No, it. It really is. And the fact that I just feel like we're just, you know, it's. We're in, like, the waiting room. That's what it feels like, you know, like, you're. I hate to, like, compare it to that, but, like, that's literally what this is. It's like we're just all, you know, kind of on edge and trying to figure out, okay, like, what's next? Like, you know, and I know, obviously, we've been interviewing some of the guys, and that has just been. So I think what everyone kind of wants or needs in this situation. It's like we're anticipating things, but we don't really know what exactly to anticipate. And so I was like, I feel like the least that we could do is, like, give these men, like, an opportunity to just, like, let. Let Let out, let loose.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
Ben.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
I don't know, just give them, like, I guess, a safe space to come and, you know, talk about how they're feeling with everything and just get to know them, which has been really, really exciting. You missed a very, very special episode. Rachel.
Rachel Recchia
Which one I was going to say, because I've been listening and I love getting to know these guys.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Chris, who is your favorite? I'm so.
Rachel Recchia
Okay, well, now that you ask. Christopher was amazing. The way he speaks, is so emotionally intelligent.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
The way he's so in tune.
Rachel Recchia
So in tune. And I was just so impressed by him, and he was amazing. I also was just listening to Casey. That one just came out. I love him.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yep, yep, yep.
Rachel Recchia
The way he was, like, about to cry, talking about his past relationship and how he wanted to better himself and all the things. Tell me about it.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Like, that entire episode, if you go and watch, I don't even know how many, like, moments of my facial reactions are clipped in there, but I'm, like, on the verge of tears. I literally, like, after I got done record, I was like, oh, I. I need to go, like, just cry in the bathroom. Because I'm like, he's just so pure. But it's, like, pure with, like, intention. And he's, like, filled with so much, like, light, like he once experienced life. I'm like, do you understand how rare that is for a man? I'm so sorry we're taking it there. Like, do you understand how rare that is?
Rachel Recchia
I was about to say, for a man to go through a breakup where he felt like the girl wronged him and moved on. And he goes, the first thing I'm gonna do is improve myself.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
I was like, wow, who raised him?
Rachel Recchia
I wanna meet this woman.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
He needs to hold a masterclass. Not even just for bachelor boys. Cause I don't think. I think they all probably will fail just for men in general.
Rachel Recchia
I was dying too, and he was like, I used to watch the Bach and I thought, you know, these men have jobs and they're so upstanding.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
And I know. I said, he's so innocent. Like, he just thinks I'm like. He thinks the world of everyone. And I'm like, I love him.
Rachel Recchia
I really do the best. Who else did you interview since I've been away? Because I know they're not out yet. All of them.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Well, yeah, I think you had a little bit of a crush on someone.
Rachel Recchia
Who? Oh, I have a crush on all them. But yes. Wait, which one?
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
There's only one Shane.
Rachel Recchia
One Shane. Yes, absolutely. Yeah.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah. The one that you said was the most attractive from Georgia.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Attractive.
Rachel Recchia
Gonna win or be the Bachelor. Yes, I remember.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah. So we had a. We had a great conversation with.
Rachel Recchia
Without me.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Without. But listen, I'm. I'm a good friend, and I'm always listening out, looking out.
Rachel Recchia
And I put in a good word.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
I did. I said, rachel Recchia did say you were the most attractive in this franchise. And I started to blush, so I said, hold on. Do we have something here? I'm here for it. Oh, Shane, Tap in if you're not. We don't know how the season ends.
Rachel Recchia
I was gonna say we don't know how the season ends, but I did see someone from Taylor's cast throwing it out there for Jesse Draper publicly.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Oh, I saw that too. I'm so glad you brought that up, because I said, what's really, like. It's like, it. Are we not, like. Are we not exhausted yet? I said, there can't be more things happening.
Rachel Recchia
There can't be more things. And also, is this season not on pause? How do we know?
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Like, I'm here for everyone, getting their, you know, their second, third, whatever chance I love, but I said, sister's going through some things right now. I said, it's the time now.
Rachel Recchia
The body's not even. It's still warm.
Kathy (Co-host or guest on Bachelor Happy Hour)
No.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
I said, is she not filing for divorce right now? Is she not dealing with that? I was, like, not shooting your shot. Like, this is crazy to me. I'm so sorry. It's crazy.
Rachel Recchia
I.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
You know, hey, I. I guess I get it.
Rachel Recchia
I'm here for it. I'm interested. I can't wait. Have we spoken to him yet? I really.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
No, we haven't.
Rachel Recchia
I'll be interested.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah. I will be asking all questions.
Rachel Recchia
Oh, my God.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Rachel Recchia
Because that's just insane. I don't know. It's like so many things are happening. It feels like a lot of people are acting as if the season isn't going to air. Is it going to air? Who knows? I wish that we had something for everyone, but this is literally just the Bachelor in purgatory right now, and we are the gatekeepers of it. Literally. Welcome back to Bachelor in Purgatory. What is happening?
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Literally, we are. We're hanging on everyone. But I think, yeah, I think we're doing our best, Rachel. That's all we could do.
Rachel Recchia
Absolutely.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Everyone's doing their very best.
Rachel Recchia
All right, well, we caught up. I think it's time to get this party started. So let's bring in our first guy today's.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Guest that's with us is 43 year old real estate broker from Carnell, Indiana. Welcome, Matt, to voucher happy hour.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Hey, thanks guys. I appreciate it. Thanks for having me.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
We are so excited to chat.
Rachel Recchia
Yes, we're so excited to have you here. We have so much to talk about. First of all, tell us how are you feeling? We know there's so much happening right now.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Yeah, well, it's kind of a day by day thing, right? I mean some of these things have been unexpected, but especially when you have kids involved and some of the complexities of what's going on. But still taking a day at a time. I hope that everyone involved is doing okay because of those nuances with kids and everything like that. But I'm just taking a day at a time. I think everyone else is also. But still I see it but nothing but a privilege to have been a part of all this and to be talking to you guys. I have something great things to say about everybody involved. I made great friends along the way. So for me though, with the other it's just a day by day thing and. And here we are.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
So have you and like the rest of the guys from your season, have you guys just kind of been really leaning on each other during this time? I would assume so.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
I will say this though. The every, the producers and the aftercare team and everyone has been so great and we've been able to lean into them and talk to them. And for those watching who do not know this, there's a whole aftercare team that's been amazing and so that's been special. And that's what I was talking about earlier, Full Circle, where it's just been so great to be a part of all this because it's not just about Taylor and the guys. It's about everybody else behind the scenes and that's been really great.
Rachel Recchia
Yes, we love everyone behind the scenes. We could not do it without them. But we want to know some more about you. So tell us first, how did you get into this? How did you get onto Taylor sees it.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
You know, it's funny. It's kind of funny because I just got out of a relationship and that ended on a Thursday. And then the next Wednesday morning I got an email, random email, saying if you want to apply. And I was just sad enough to where I said, I don't care if this is a scam, I'm gonna apply.
Rachel Recchia
I was gonna say I would be like, am I being scammed?
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Yeah, I was like, might be scammed. I'm sad enough. I don't care.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Oh, my goodness.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
So I DM them back. I got a response right away. And that started the journey of the back and forth with interviews and phone calls. And about halfway through that process, they said, hey, you know, ABC is actually switching going to do the Bachelorette. And so the Bachelor, would you consider being one of the guys? And I said, absolutely. They said, well, we think that Taylor might be the person. She's in Utah. Is that okay? And I said, well, my three last exes are from out of state. Why not out of fourth?
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Oh, wow.
Rachel Recchia
Did you know anything about Taylor when you heard that she was going to be the Bachelorette?
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
No, you know, not really. And I did, of course, a little bit of research, but I kept a pretty high level on purpose. When I go and date, I always think it's important to get to that first date and get to know somebody for who they are today, not for who they are for their past. And so I wanted to keep it high level for that reason. And so when I showed up to the show itself, to be able to get to know her for who she was in that moment versus what everybody else was saying in the media or on Instagram or TikTok, for me, that was important. So. So, yeah, so that's what I came to the show with. And, and I'm, I'm still glad that that's how I showed up. Yeah.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah. Were there anything that, like, characteristics or traits that you were, like, specifically looking for, like, obviously heading into this experience, knowing how crazy it was going to be, but, like, keeping your heart and, you know, expectations, I guess. Still there in Taylor herself, you mean? Or like just like what you were looking for in a partner? Yeah, like.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Yeah, that's a good question. You know, for me, I'll answer it this way. My kids were pretty sad when they found out that maybe I was. I was going to be leaving, right? And I told them, well, Daddy's leaving because. So my parents have been married for 50 years and amazing. You know, what my dad told me a long time ago was the best way you can show your kids what love is is by showing love to your spouse or to your partner, right? And so I tell my kids, look, I'm. I'm going to go for us as a unit and to go find someone that can fill that, that gap in our, in our lives, to be a part of our family. And, and for me to be able to show you guys what love is in real time. And. And so I went on the show for that reason, you know, for some people, naive given what's come out, but of course, none of us knew about some of those things. And on there, with true intentions, a lot of the guys that I got to know, well, on the show showed up with the same feeling and the same intention that I did, which is, we're here for the right reasons. There's a lot of guys on this, on the season. And, And. And so we all were there. The guys that I. I got to know well, for the right reasons, looking for that kind of thing. And so that. That's what I was looking for. That's what I was hoping to find. And, and yeah, so that those are some of the elements of what made it from a special experience.
Rachel Recchia
That is so beautiful, what you said about your parents. And I mean, you and Taylor both were married before and have children, so what was it like going into this experience, having that in common?
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Yeah, well, we both have three, so.
Rachel Recchia
You both have three?
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Yeah.
Rachel Recchia
Oh, my goodness.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Right?
Rachel Recchia
Yeah.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
I think it gives you an interesting perspective on relationships in life. And for me, I came to the show feeling like, okay, she understands what it means to have three, not just being a parent, but also have three. And there's a lot of logistics involved, and you're running around to different events or school meeting with teacher, parent conferences and, you know, sporting events with them if they're playing soccer or whatever the case might be. And it just gives you another perspective on how. I'll tell you this. Typically, when you're a parent, what it forces you to do is to be. Confront the fact that we're all really selfish people. And so when you have kids, it forces you to realize that and. And to realize how you have to be unselfish when you have kids, try to be there as a parent. And so I was excited to be around her, to be able to connect on that level of, hey, you get it. So do I. You know, let's explore what it means to navigate this crazy thing, which is being a parent. No one gives you this manual and says, you know, this is exactly a linear way it happens. That doesn't happen that way. Right. It's one of those things. It's. You're figuring out as you go and. And as the, you know, she's divorced, I am too, which adds another layer to it. And you're just trying the best you can to. To. To help them through it all too.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)

How if you're comfortable sharing, like, how is that dynamic with your. Your kids, like, part your partner, your previous partner, and co parenting. How is that? Yeah, yeah.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
No, it's. I don't mind answering this. Yeah. So my ex wife and I have a very good relationship now. You know, we got married when we were very young, and so we were both 24 years old when we got married. And so. Yeah. And so I have nothing but the utmost respect for her. She's a great mom. Our relationship now is, you know, it's about the kids and we make it work because of that. And, you know, I'm. Thank God I don't have those nightmare stories where you can't be in the same room as that person or you have to use special apps to communicate. So we're not in that situation. Thank God. And in fact, she was very, very nice about me even going on the show because that was not easy. And so. So it's been good. You know, we've learned I've been divorced slash separated for seven years. And. And so we've found a way. We found our rhythm is the best way of putting it.
Rachel Recchia
So I love that. I think a lot of guys who go on the show, we've only, I think, had one other mother before Emily. Right?

I think it's one thing when people are like, oh, yeah, I'm ready to be a parent, but you went in already knowing how hard this is. So dating outside of this, what has that been like for you? Has that been difficult?
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Well, I tell people I can fill arenas with my dating stories. Well, I tell you, it. It changes the perspective of how you show up in dating.
Rachel Recchia
Definitely. Yeah.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
It changes how what you're looking for and you can't just look for someone for you. You anymore. It's about searching for them as well. And you're not looking to replace their mom. Right. That's not a healthy looking at it. But you're. You're looking for someone who can come alongside you. I look at dating as you're both in your separate lanes and you come together and you. You go together that. In that Spirit. Right. And elevate you, bring out the best in you. Because dating or relationships in their best way are in their healthiest capacity, are where we're both elevating each other to become the best versions of ourselves. Right. And so that's what I've been looking for, is someone who can fill that. That void where you're just searching for somebody who can be that teammate with you.
Rachel Recchia
Absolutely.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
I mean, at the end of the day, you know, who doesn't love those images of somebody who's those old couples who are walking with their canes and it sounds. But at the end of the day, that's what I hope to find, and that's what life's about. I believe we were created to be relational. And so when you have that partner that's with you that can do those things, that, to me, is the most amazing part of life. And I still have an amazing hope that that person will come along my way and that we'll be able to do that.
Rachel Recchia
Well, we're keeping our fingers crossed for that. I know you said teammate. We heard that you were a Division 1 athlete. Tell us a little bit about that.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
I'm ready to dive into that. I'm like, tell us more.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Well, you can't tell on this camera right now, but I am six, eight.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
That's so dumb.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
You know, it's a wild story because I grew up overseas in Latin America. Spanish was actually my language, and so.
Sponsor Voiceover - Figs
Oh, really?
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Just kidding. You know, but, yeah, I wish I still had the Antonio Banderas accent, though.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
You know, I was gonna say. I was like, it's. You have a very, like. Your English is like. I would have never guessed that.
Rachel Recchia
The Midwestern at all.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Everything.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
I miss that accent now, especially. You know, you can bring it out, you know.
Rachel Recchia
Yeah.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
No, but it's funny because I grew up overseas playing baseball and soccer, which is what Latin America is a big part of culture down there. But I kept growing and growing and growing, and all of a sudden, I became six, eight. And I picked up a basketball for the first time when I was about 13, which is super late. I had a great high school coach and when we moved to Denver when I was about 14. And he just was an incredible coach, both in terms of developing me as a player, but also as a young man back then, with character being the biggest thing that he wanted to develop in me. But before I knew it, I was in the top 100 basketball players in the country. 22 scholarship offers, believe it or not.
Rachel Recchia
Oh, my goodness.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Insane.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Oh, my gosh yeah. And so it was a special time. And all of a sudden, Purdue came along and they're one of the top teams in the country. In fact, this year, preseason, they were number one heading into the season, they just got eliminated from the Elite Eight. And. But I went there because of the combination of athletics, but also just academics and how they are there as well. So it was an incredible experience. And I still feel like I'm a part of the family. I can go back and feel a part of it. And they do a great job of making you feel like you're a part of a family. That. That has made it a very special experience during my time there. And then after.
Rachel Recchia
Oh, my gosh. You said.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
I know. I'm like, didn't you do your announcement video at. In their gym? Like, that's epic.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Yeah, it was amazing. It was fun to go back and do that there. Yes, for sure.
Rachel Recchia
I love that. Well, you sound. I mean, you've done so many things. You've lived so many places. You seem like you have just lived so many lives. Were you the oldest guy in the house?
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
I was the oldest guy in the house. But.
Rachel Recchia
But how was that?
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
That comes with wisdom. He's older advisor. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
You know, it was. It was a fun dynamic for me. I mean, at times it was, you know, you're navigating, you know, what that means in terms of having that. That different age gap. And what I've learned, though, is that age. This sounds cliche, but it's only a number, really. Right. And a lot of those guys on. On the season were extremely mature and wise in their own right. So I ended up having a lot of very deep conversations and about life, about family, about dating, irregardless of our age. And so that made for a really not only fun dynamic, but also just a memorable experience. But what I would tell you is that the age thing, for me, what it's done, is it's allowed me to live more life. Right. So I've lived all over the world. I've lived in Europe. I worked in Asia for over a decade. I've grew up in Latin America. I've got kids. I've been divorced, unfortunately. So it's not really about wisdom, but more about, like, life lived.
Shane Parton (Bachelor contestant)
And.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
And so giving me that kind of perspective is really what it is. And. And so, yeah, so it's. But, yeah, the guys were. I got along with a lot of guys who had wisdom and maturity beyond their years, really, when I was there.
Rachel Recchia
Amazing. Yeah.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Because I was like, I love hearing that.
Rachel Recchia
I mean, thank God.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Bachelor cast with maturity and wisdom. Yes, right.
Rachel Recchia
I was going to say. Yeah. It's sometimes so rare. Do you still keep in contact, or is there anyone that you're really close with in the house?
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Well, I got really close with Conrad. Shane and I had a lot of good conversations. Christopher and I connected because we were both dads. Rod and I had a lot of great conversations. But I wish I could tell you that we're all sitting here on phone calls all the time. But at the end of the day. But I will say this. That's the first question I get. What were the guys like? You know, people all the time, because it looks like, you know, you. You think you're showing up to some kind of gladiator ring. You know, you're handed swords and shields, and you're like, go figure it out. Right? But when I. That. That athlete in me kicked in the first night, you're like, all right, you know, the competitive side, you know.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
I don't know. It transitioned very quickly to, oh, my God, man, I think you might be my best friend.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
You know, it's crazy.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
So 24 hours later, you realize just how much in common you have with certain people, and you spend a lot of time together, and so you.
Rachel Recchia
You.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
You just get to know these guys very quickly. It's a very unique experience. And so you bond for those reasons. Right? Gravitate to certain guys, and you end up having an amazing time with them for that reason. And so I tell people all the time, even though some of them don't believe me when I say it, but some of these guys will probably be in my wedding one day.
Rachel Recchia
Absolutely.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
You know, and so I look forward to that. But that's. That's how I see those guys, and I have nothing but respect for them. We were all chosen for a reason. We're all very different. And. And. But you get there. You realize, oh, these guys were all here for a reason, and we're. And that's. That's. That's what made it amazing overall.
Rachel Recchia
Yeah.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah. We've, like, obviously talked to some of the guys already, but I just feel like, as a whole, like, as a unit in a cast, you guys are, like, very mature, which is, like. I mean, when I say refreshing, I'm not just, like, blowing smoke. I'm like, you guys.
Rachel Recchia
She means it.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Like, I'm. I'm so serious about it, which is, like, so impressive. But also, I guess that says a lot about you guys and, like, why you guys even wanted to do the show, obviously, you know, giving Taylor her best options at, you know, finding love. So I really do love that and kind of sense that from all of you guys.
Rachel Recchia
I also think. I mean, it's crazy because when we go through this experience, it's so rare that you get to have people that have been through the same thing. And not only were you guys in the process of being on the Bachelorette, but you guys are the only ones that know what happened. And there's a chance that this might just be between all of you for the, like. Yeah. So that is really special that you guys at least have each other to lean on regardless of what happens.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Well said. And I think that's one of the reasons why we were able to bond so quickly, is it's such a unique experience. And it's funny because the only thing I can even compare it to is when I play ball. Here you are at this massive university. You know, I think Purdue has, when you combine Undergrad and grad, 50,000 students. Right?
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Yeah.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
And there's this unique bond that you develop with 15 guys. Right. And it's. You're the only 15 guys understand what it means to go through this experience. And meanwhile, you have all these people behind the scenes, coaching staff and trainers and everything. Kind of like what we had on the show. Right. Behind the scenes. But it's like that unit that gets to be close for that period of time, and that's what this was. And so you can kind of. When I see guys now that play at Purdue now or that were on my team, there's this unspoken kind of camaraderie that exists because of it. And. And so it's almost like this battle tested. Hey, you know what. What this was like to go through this, and. And that's what this is as well. And that's what has made it unique and special.
Rachel Recchia
And you always have a family with Bachelor Nation.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
You guys are official.
Rachel Recchia
You guys are officially in.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Y' all are in.
Rachel Recchia
Matt, what do you say before we go, we play a little game?
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Okay. Well, I don't know what I'm agreeing to yet, but.
Rachel Recchia
Okay, we're gonna play it's pretty fun game.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
It's. It's our hot sea game. So basically, it's very similar to like, just rapid fire proms. And it's just to get us to know your personality a little bit more.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Okay.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
So we only have, like, no pressure.
Rachel Recchia
No pressure. Okay.
Sponsor Voiceover - Figs
Okay.
Rachel Recchia
On a scale of 1 to 10, how cool do your kids think you are?
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Well, I have to say 10, right? I tell people all the time my kids are hilarious, but as they get older, they're 12, 10, and 8 now. And my 12 year old thinks by the day I'm less and less funny. But, dad, I'm still laying with my 10 and 8 year old. But you know what? I have the advantage of having played college sports, and so when it comes to that kind of stuff, they think I'm cool, for sure. Yeah.
Rachel Recchia
I love it.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Okay, Besides speaking Spanish, what other languages do you speak or wish you could speak?
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
I speak German.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Wow.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
So I grew up speaking Spanish, German and English. I went to, my goodness, growing up trilingual, so. And I can understand about a tenth of Dutch and a tenth of Italian because I know German and Spanish, so. But my talents and languages stop there.
Rachel Recchia
What can't you do? Truly, I'm, like, sitting down, knows all these languages. You are so impressive.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Oh, well, thank you.
Rachel Recchia
Okay, Matt, you say you're neat to a fault. What is something that drives you insane in someone else's space?
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Oh, man, I am neat to a fault.
Rachel Recchia
I am, too. I feel.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
I was like, the background. I was like, your apartment is stellar.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
I'm kind of a perfectionist.
Carlos King (Reality with the King podcast host)
Oh.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
You know, if you walk into a space and it's just kind of. If there's clothes everywhere, that kind of stuff, there's no judgment, by the way. It just means that, like, it's not really coming from a place of, like, judgment. It's more of, like, I like my space neat, so it clears my head. So when I step on the floor and everything, it's almost like I feel like my mind is thinking about that rather than just being in the moment. Correct. Oh. Before I go to bed and everything, I just feel like I have to have everything picked up. And so it's more of, like, me keeping my head clean and clear than it is more of, like, judgment on other people. It's more of just how I kind of like to live to keep my head clear. So.
Rachel Recchia
Yeah, I could not agree more. I'm the same way. I have anything on the floor.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Like, it drives me insane.
Rachel Recchia
Oh. Oh, my goodness. Okay. Well, Matt, this has been amazing. We wish we could keep talking to you more. But before we go, is there anything you want to tell the listeners before we have to go?
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Not specifically. I mean, I just appreciate you guys. I appreciate this incredible experience that was being a part of Bachelor Nation. And. And, of course, we hope this is not the last. Right. I mean, we have many other experiences with you guys But I would just say that, yeah, you know, I get, I get asked a lot. Is everything that goes on behind the scenes real or not? And what I would tell people is it's what I was feeling, the feels, you know, I mean, it's real, it's not scripted. And I just appreciate the opportunity to be a part of something so special and to, to be sitting here with you guys and to just be a part of something that's bigger than yourself. Right. I mean, this is what I was telling you earlier with Purdue. It's something bigger than you. And there's an honor and a privilege and a responsibility that comes with that. And I just appreciate you guys.
Rachel Recchia
Well, thank you. We hope we get to see more of you. Is there anywhere we can find you on socials for everyone who wants.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
Yeah. So I'm on Instagram, Facebook, of course, as well. My TikTok is not where I'd like it to be yet, but you gotta get that. I know.
Rachel Recchia
Gotta get that up.
Matt (Bachelor contestant)
We gotta get that up. I mean, I'm on LinkedIn a lot, but yeah. Matthew. Underscore. Underscore. Carol is my Instagram handle.
Host of Bachelor Happy Hour (likely a female host)
Amazing, right? We're gonna be sure to give you a follow. And to our audience and our listeners, thank you, Matt, again for joining us here on Bachelor Happy Hour. It has been such a pleasure. And like Rachel said, this is not going to be the last. Hopefully you'll be back and we can't wait to chat more with you very, very soon. So.
