Plus,
Susan
Welcome back to Bachelor Happy hours golden hour. Thanks so much for joining us again today. Kathy and I are always excited to get on here.
Dietz and Watson / Marine Glow Advertiser
Always, always.
Kathy
We are so excited. We're doing well. Susan's getting a tan on and I'm Sarah, sweating to death in Austin. So, you know, nothing's changed. But today we have a very, very special guest. Someone I just had so much fun staring at in paradise. Please welcome from Bachelor in Paradise, Sean. Hi, Sean. Welcome to Bachelor Happy Hour.
Sean
Hi, ladies. Thank you for having me. I'm excited to be here. This is the first time we're doing it.
Kathy
Yes.
Susan
I'm so excited to get to know you.
Kathy
Oh, trust me, Susan, you like a good looking man.
Susan
When he came on the show, I was like, I'll let.
Sean
You guys are already making me blush for like 10 seconds and this is gonna be a great. I can't wait to go out after this. I'm gonna have such a confidence boost.
Kathy
Oh, please do not.
Susan
Yes, you will.
Kathy
Really? Seriously, Sean, you need a confidence boost. Come on.
Sean
I probably need to tone it down a notch, but, you know, I just,
Kathy
I want to know. I mean, you know, I adored you when I got to know. Actually I met you before paradise, but I'd actually forgotten I'd met you and you had to point that out to me, showed me up there. But what have you been up to since Paradise?
Sean
Yeah, I kind of got back into a normal flow. I mean, I have a regular job. I work in AI sales, so a lot of travel with that, going to different conferences, but I'm here in Tampa and just kind of got back into the normal life a little bit. I'm enjoying my time. It's just starting to get amazing weather here, so. Playing a lot of golf and hanging out.
Kathy
What's your handicap?
Susan
Jealous about that?
Kathy
Yeah, a little. Little jelly. What's your handicap?
Sean
I'm a 5.9 right now, which is.
Kathy
Oh, Susan, just so you know, anybody who gives it to you with a digit and a point there is a serious golfer.
Susan
Yeah, it's do you shoot in the 70s?
Sean
I shot this past week. I played twice. I shot 76 and 80 good free. But it's. It's so weird with golf because when I get consistently, I'm playing like, I get down and shoot in the mid-70s, pretty consistently. But after filming paradise and probably since I started doing the Bachelor franchise, I know I'm traveling so much. I have so much stuff going on. I'm not getting that consistent golf time in. So then my. I know, but my score is reflected. So then I get all mad and, you know, then it just makes me upset. So.
Kathy
No, this is why. This is why I don't take golf. I play, but you can't take it seriously unless you're going to spend the hours, you know, doing it. But you, you know, practicing. But you say you've been traveling a lot, huh? We saw that you were in New Year's in Vegas with a bunch of people from Bachelor.
Sean
I was.
Kathy
I'd like to know. And don't tell me what happened in Vegas stays in Vegas. I do not want the what happens in Vegas. So tell me, how was that true?
Sean
It was amazing. Honestly, I'm trying to think what I can share. It was. It was. It was great.
Susan
You know, Was it someone's birthday?
Sean
It was. It was Charity's birthday slash New Year's. Yes, but it was. The thing is, with that crew, I think Charity. Charity's friends from Zach's season that she's close with, and then obviously the guys from her season that I'm close with, Don specifically. And the rest of the group, we. We have such a solid group of people, and anytime we all get together, we mesh really well. So, you know, it was. It was a blast. We had a good time.
Susan
That is fun. That's so fun.
Kathy
And. And now you think I'm gonna let you go with that? I want one piece of juice. Give it to me.
Ollie Dog Food Advertiser
Oh,
Kathy
you know, no, no, no. We're not going to cat yet. Do you remember when I said to you on Paradise? I said, oh, my God, you must have been in politics when you say, actually, my father's in politics. So that answer you just gave me was a political answer. Now I want the truth. What went on in Vegas?
Sean
Well, Vegas went on in Vegas. We were playing a lot of. We were gambling a lot. I think what was great was you had a huge group of girls and a huge group of guys. So the guys kind of went to the tables, and we love playing blackjack. But then we'd all meet up at night for dinners. Nothing was like that insane. I will say I'll tease something that wasn't the first time that we had all hung out before, like, recently. So there is something that might be coming with all of us together. So.
Susan
Ah.
Sean
And that I can't actually share yet. So I'll give you a nice little tease. Yeah.
Susan
Okay. We like it.
Kathy
Just take and see what you got here. Okay. Now, where do you cat stand?
Sean
I think. I mean, I think we're all past it, I would say. I mean, it was. It was good to see you around Vegas. I mean, I have no bad blood, and I don't think she does either. So, yeah, I think we're good. It was. It was good to see her and. Yeah, we're fine. I think what people in the audience might not understand is, like, the emotions that you feel when you're filming a television show, specifically within the Bachelor franchise. You're. It's kind of like this fighter, fight or flight response. Your. Your adrenaline is always so high. Your stress is always so high. So sometimes, like in the moment, you get all worked up, but a month or two removed, everything calms down and it goes back to normal in a way. And I feel like that was definitely, you know, cat myself.
Kathy
Okay, I have so many questions. Susan, you gotta let me go here for one second.
Susan
Okay, go ahead.
Kathy
First of all, another political answer. We're digging deeper here.
Dietz and Watson / Marine Glow Advertiser
Who.
Kathy
Who broke up with whom and who with Alicia? Then we're getting back to cat.
Sean
Oh, it was kind of like, I want to say mutual, I would say. Well, so I didn't want to do long distance, and Alicia was living in Tampa at the time, and she had moved to LA kind of abruptly. So I. We kind of mutually both said, like, once she got out to la, it was not. Not working. It was not going to work. And I had, you know, I have a house here in Tampa. I have a job. I have all these things that I kind of have to. I would have to button up before moving to la. And it wasn't really on my radar. So, yeah, it was. It was more so the distance type thing, but it was. It was kind of abrupt.
Susan
Fair enough.
Kathy
Fair enough. Okay. So the whole thing in paradise with the receipt, by the way, that was the first time I'd ever heard the word receipts used in that way. Just.
Susan
They had receipts just coming on. And being the mayor, for goodness sake, you took the. You owned the role. You were being your dad. Were you just trying to feel it
Kathy
out or the prince of Parliament who were you again.
Susan
I called them the mayor.
Sean
Yeah, yeah. The parliament of paradise leader. I wanted to say I was, you know, elected official, unelected, whatever you can say. But I want to. I want to have so much fun with that. Like, I thought that, and I think Kathy, watching it back, you probably. You felt very similar, where it's like, hey, like, have fun. Like, go play a game. I think you said something like, I want to, like, give it to whoever plays the best game. And I had got into, like, game mode. No one else was thinking that way, but I had already done. I had already done Paradise. I had already done, like, you know, at once before. So, like, the game show, the competition element was so interesting and fun to me. No one else was, like, having that much fun with the game side of it. The games themselves, Like, I thought filming them, some of them were so terrible to film it. Like, it didn't. It wasn't fun filming the game elements like the competitions. However, the overarching theme of, like, voting off. Like, I grew up watching Survivor. Like, I love that type of stuff, so I had fun with it.
Kathy
Okay, I. I get it, but I want to go back to the. The. The horror show that happened at the. At the end of the show with, like, whose idea was that to bring up the whole. With you and Alicia? Whose idea was that to bring up the receipts and the cat dating, that whole thing? Where did that come from?
Susan
The iPad. The whole.
Sean
Yeah, well, I didn't know any of that when I was. When before I had got voted off. Like, I had zero idea. So that information surfaced after I got voted off. So it was like, what do you do with the information? Do you just sit on it or do you, like, bring it up? And the thing is.
Susan
Makes for a good tv.
Sean
Well, the thing is, is, like, I. I found out the information. I was like, all right, well, like, what am I going to do? And in. In a perfect golf analogy, you kind of got to protect the field. So if everyone's competing for half a million dollars, you kind of got to be. You can't just, like, hide it, like, withhold that information because it affects people's voting and things like that. So I don't know, it's kind of like in the golf analogy, protecting the field a bit. And I was pissed.
Kathy
Whatever I got to say, I am so. I'm a smart girl, and I'm so confused what the hell you're talking about. None of it's making any sense.
Susan
He was saying, I get it because he got all that information after he was off the show.
Kathy
But why do you feel compelled to tell it?
Sean
Because if I don't tell it, then other people don't have access to the information to vote. Having that in their. In their mind. So if they have one view of something and there's information that contradicts it, that would give people information to do it.
Kathy
Okay, but weren't you in Cat, really good friends?
Sean
We were, yeah. Going in and now that.
Kathy
So why would you throw your really good friend under the bus?
Sean
Because the way.
Kathy
In this case. Under the beach.
Sean
Under the beach, yeah, because the way. And the thing is, like, when you're on the show, you kind of get like, half information. I. I had been told that she was trying to have people vote me off, like she was voting for me. So I was like, whoa, what the heck? Like, I thought we were friends, all this type of stuff. So I felt completely betrayed because she was like, someone I was close to prior to getting there before any of this all happened. So, like, I felt like, now you're a defense 100%. And I was like, why? Like, the one person that I was like, I'm not going to vote for her ever. Like, I thought we had each other's back. Like, I thought she would be coming to my defense and letting me know if things were happening in the background. So I felt like I was. It wasn't reciprocated in a way, in terms of, like, the allegiance.

Wells Adams
hey, this is Wells Adams with By Order of the Faithfuls podcast alongside my fellow faithfuls and co hosts Tamara Judge and Dolores Catania. The three of us have been watching this season of the Traitors, and we've been inside that castle, so we have insight. Unlike many others, this season of the Traitors may be the best we've ever seen. Listen to By Order the faithfuls on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Kathy
So two things I want to say, Susan, take a lesson here.
Susan
I know she feels betrayed. I'm feeling I would have gotten her face.
Kathy
How are you and Kat today?
Sean
Yeah, we're good. I mean, we don't. We definitely don't talk as much as we used to, but I think there's not, like, any resentment towards each other. Um, like I said, we were in Vegas, everything was fine. It was good to see her. And, you know, I'm sure we'll. We'll cross paths again here at some point. So. Yeah, everything's good.
Susan
Tell us about Alicia then.
Sean
I haven't talked to Alicia in a long time. Honestly. No, Yeah, I mean, I reached out. I said, like, I've reached out before. Said, happy birthday. Just crickets, really? Yeah, yeah, it was. It's interesting. And I, like, you know, I feel like I didn't do anything wrong. She kind of feels differently and like, she had kind of said something.
Kathy
Wait, what does she think you did wrong?
Sean
Yeah, she went on a podcast, one of the Bachelor shows, and she was like, oh, he, like, was going behind my back and what I.
Kathy
Doing what that.
Sean
Well, that's the thing is she just left at that so it's kind of vague. So people, like, made assumptions about things. I. Me going behind her back was actually. Me and Kat had a conversation prior to the reunion after Alicia and I had already broken up. And I didn't tell Alicia about that conversation because I didn't feel like I need to.
Susan
Right.
Kathy
I just say who's on first.
Sean
Yeah.
Susan
Right.
Kathy
Well, so wait a minute. So. So you and Alicia are on. It's. Whatever. I mean, you're obviously not close anymore. What. What did you think about Cat and Dale's breakup?
Sean
Yeah, I. Yeah, it's.
Susan
Were you surprised?
Sean
I mean, I don't think. I don't think. I'm not surprised, but, like, I'm not surprised if anyone on the show breaks up. You know, like, anyone that meets through this. This style of dating, it's really difficult. So it's not like they have the highest success rating, especially coming off shows like this. And any. Not even just the Bachelor franchise, Love island, any of them. Right. So I wasn't necessarily surprised. I think it's tough. Like, you know, I never want people to. To go through pain, whether it's Cat or Dale or both parties. So, yeah, no, I wasn't surprised. But it's kind of sucks for both.
Susan
But there was really good successful ones that came off. We just had them on and they're so in love. It does happen.
Kathy
Are you surprised they're together? All the. All the couples that are.
Sean
No, no, no, I'm not surprised they're still together. I'm just saying more.
Kathy
Not just Jess.
Sean
Oh, no, no, I think. I mean, it's Jess and Jess and Spencer and then Alex and Andrew. Yeah. So, no, I think they're both going strong.
Kathy
Wait, and Bailey at Bailey.
Sean
Oh, my God, how am I forgetting Bailey and Jeremy?
Susan
I know, right?
Sean
No, I'm definitely.
Susan
They're really happy.
Sean
They're amazing. I'm definitely, like, I talked to Bailey and Jeremy, like, the most out of anyone from. From Paradise.
Susan
Do you.
Sean
And they're great. I mean, I've stayed with Jeremy in New York a couple of times. I went out and saw Bailey in Portugal when I was there this summer. She gave me.
Kathy
I'm going.
Sean
You're going to Lisbon and Porto? Yep, I went to Porto. You're going to love it. Porto was amazing. Like, oh, my gosh, what a beautiful city. And she's the. She's the best tour guide. So, yeah, they're doing great and they're doing strong. So it's happy to see. We did have successful relationships just in general throughout the Terms of, like, reality dating and stuff, so.
Kathy
But weren't you sorry that I didn't leave with someone?
Sean
I was room for you. I was room for you, Kathy.
Susan
You know, there was nobody to leave with. Kathy.
Sean
Well, here's the thing, Kathy. It's not your fault. It was the cast. They didn't cast your person there. It wasn't you. If there. If there was more options on the beach, I'm sure you would have found someone and left with her.
Kathy
Sean, when you wrote the senator, I'm voting for you.
Susan
I have a totally federal politician for me. But I do have a question. What was the response, like, from, like, the Bachelor Nation? People, like, did you. Were you the villain? Were they attacking you or were they supporting you?
Sean
Oh, man. Well, yeah, I think I had to suck. Yeah, I think I felt very villainous in terms of, like, oh, my God, the amount of DMs, like, if I went through my DMs, it's hundreds and hundreds of messages. I still get them to this day, that people are still catching up on paradise, apparently. And, like, I'll get randomly one where I'm like, all right, well, they just watched the episode. But I think, for the most part, like, the fans of the show, 90% of the fans of the Bachelor world are amazing. Anytime I approach in public, everyone's great, always have great interactions. You have the 10% that takes it above and beyond what's really necessary, and that's the stuff that you see. Like, the average viewer is not DMing me, like, telling me to, like, jump off a bridge, you know? So, like, it's. I always kind of have put it on the wayside and been like, listen, anyone that feels the need to DM me, like, I don't really need to take their advice.
Kathy
Okay, so, Sean, I have something. I don't know if you know this. When you and Alicia started that whole conversation you brought. I don't know if you remember me coming up to you and saying, can you let it go? Do you remember me saying, let it go. Don't do it.
Sean
I don't.
Kathy
And you said. You said, I'm doing it. I'm doing it.
Dietz and Watson / Marine Glow Advertiser
And I.
Kathy
And so when it. When it all started, I was sitting at the bar. I got up and left. I did. I got up and left. And one of the directors came and said, kathy, you have to get back out there. And I looked him straight in the
Dietz and Watson / Marine Glow Advertiser
eyes and I said, no, I don't,
Kathy
because I thought it was so harsh. And I love you to pieces, but I just Thought it was so harsh because I didn't know Kat or Dale before and I did think it was villainous even though I looked.
Susan
But Kathy, if it was so true, would you still feel that way?
Kathy
Listen, I'm. Keith and I are the two that said and meant it. That and not everyone believed us at first. Like we talked, we said we're not going to take money out of young kids hands. Like that's why we stuck around so long. People knew that we were kind people
Susan
to be there to sell and you weren't challenging them.
Kathy
I would never. I love the games. I wanted to win just because I'm competitive but not. But you know, we, you know, Sean, we started stabbing ourselves and one of those things because we, you know, so, so to me the, I don't know, it's just when you're on I, I hate that people think you're a villain because I don't think you are. But I thought that was brutal and I didn't know if you just thought it was getting caught up in the moment or you really felt like you were doing a service to all the other contestants.
Sean
I thought it was more so. More so the service but then again like I always go back to it be like if, if, if you needed, if we need to get information out there, how else do you do it? It's a tough situation to navigate and like my sense was do I want to go around and have these tiny little conversations and then like it comes out because whisper. Yeah. Well the thing is we're on a television show, it's going to come out to the masses anyway. So the 15, 20 people that were there, it's going to get broadcast to a lot more whether I do it on the side or I do it in front of everybody. But if it was the whole thing of like I need to get information out there to everyone so they can make proper decisions. Yeah, it's a kind of a lose, lose situation. I guess the best way would have been just to like not say it at all. But I felt like it needed to be out there at the time so.
Kathy
So I'm going to ask you. I kind of would do it the next day. Again, you're probably not going to remember. Remember we were all back at the other hotel before we went back for the, the last voting thing. And I said to you in retrospect, now it's been 24 hours, are you glad you did it or would you not do it again? Do you remember your answer?
Sean
I don't. I remember we were Having coffee right there, like overlooking the pool.
Kathy
Yes.
Sean
Yeah, I think I said you'll get it in time or if you don't have to get it now or something like that, but I don't know.
Kathy
Yeah. You said you were glad you would do it again.
Sean
Yeah.
Kathy
I'm going to ask you now, how many months later are you glad you did it?
Sean
I don't live with regrets, Kathy. Come on.
Susan
You don't look back.
Kathy
Speaking of. Okay, you know what? You are just doing my interview. Our interview for us. Speaking of regrets, do you regret not going with April back to her room?
Ollie Dog Food Advertiser
Yeah.
Sean
No, actually, if I go back and do things over for sure, that's actually one thing I would change.
Susan
She'll love this.
Kathy
April.
Susan
April, get with me.
Kathy
I've got his number. Call me.
Susan
He made your day. April, I have a though. Do you really think you were the actual villain or do you think there was another villain that flew under the radar because you were there?
Sean
So I think it was actual villain.
Susan
You don't have to name his name, but do you think there really was?
Sean
I don't know. Maybe. I think it's tough to go back and like, I want him to name it, actually. Who are you thinking of? I'll tell you if I were thinking the same thing. Susan.
Susan
No, I'm not thinking of anybody in particular, but I think there was a few shadiness, A little bit of shadiness going on. And you just happen to be the one that they. Because you entered with that information, of course everybody's going to hate you. You're the villain.
Sean
I think that like, in the, in the moment, you get such conflicting information, you're only able to understand what's in front of your face at that time. So then you kind of get on defense mode. No, I think that everyone. I mean, you can never know until you actually. People come out and say it. But I feel like, yeah, maybe some people were putting on an act for the cameras in a way. And the one thing with me is like, if I was active with the cameras, I wouldn't come back and like blue and shit up like, you know, like what you see is what you're gonna get.
Kathy
Wait, who was acting?
Sean
I think a lot of people have kind of have this view of like when they get on TV and cameras, the. The real way they feel often doesn't come out, come out, like, for example, because they're nice.
Susan
They're not proud of how they're really feel their thoughts.
Sean
Well, it could be different. I would say that there's conversations that I've had across, especially this season, I would say where, like, off camera, say, a dead day when we're not filming. The way they feel about certain things is very different.
Kathy
Give me an example. Give me a name. Give me.
Sean
I'm not throwing people on the bus. It's six months ago.
Susan
Leave him alone. He's been through.
Kathy
Susan. He's not throwing people under the bus. Sean, you threw on national television. So this just a tiny little podcast with 10 listeners. Surely you can give us a name.
Susan
There's 12.
Sean
No, I. It wasn't just one person. The other. I think it was. I can give you specifically the way that people felt towards the game off camera was much different than the way they felt on camera about. About the money and, like, about what they're gonna do. Also interest in terms of, like, where people stood from, like, allegiance perspective. So there are certain. Certain elements to that where, like, I
Kathy
watch back now I'm gonna cry. They didn't love me.
Susan
Did it. Did that change the game for you in any way when they brought the money into the game?
Sean
Well, I think the whole thing changed when it became, like, a competition. Yeah. For me particularly, I was like, hell, yeah, let's go. This is freaking amazing. Yeah. I thought what was. Would suck for me, like, going through. This is the first season I did, it was, like, surprise about the money thing. I didn't have anybody from charity season on the beach with me. I had no. No one that I'm, like, really close with. I had a couple people drop out last minute. Like, Xavier and John B. Were supposed to go on. They dropped off last minute. If I had those two guys on
Susan
the beach, your guys, you feel a little stronger. You felt alone.
Ollie Dog Food Advertiser
Did.
Sean
You felt alone in the sense of, like, hey, like, all these people are from the same season, or they're like, have a roommate. I didn't have a roommate. So all, like, the, like, the time at night when, like, they're talking and, like, getting close to each other. I'm in my bed by myself.
Susan
You had your own room?
Sean
I had my own room. Alicia would come over, like, when we would match you, we would share a room at that point. But, like, up until that point, it was like, I was alone. So it's great in that sense. But when the element of the game comes into play, it's actually a disadvantage.
Susan
Yes, it is.
Kathy
I will say. I will say, Sean, you. And you're continuing to say what you said to me on the beach, which is you looked at it very. As a competition. And what strategy do I, Sean, do I need to enact here to have the best chance, best outcome of winning? I think you really strategized, and I think a lot of people, it didn't appear that they were strategizing as much as you were, and that's why I think it gotten into trouble for you. But hey, you know what? You. You left the beach without any money. You left the beach with a woman. Now you don't have her. So now I. We're just gonna jump right here.
Susan
We want to know about this.
Dietz and Watson / Marine Glow Advertiser
Are you dating?
Susan
Yeah.
Kathy
Are you dating now? And who is she? And by the way, April might get jealous. So think carefully.
Sean
Yeah, no, I mean, yeah, didn't leave the beach with money and left with a girl, but didn't work out. You know, I'm like, I' there, I'm going on dates. Nothing like no one, like consistently in terms of like, we're that serious. But the thing that's tough for me is I travel a lot. Like I was in San Francisco for the Super Bowl a couple of weeks ago. I go to LA tomorrow. So there's a lot of travel where the consistent dates become tough. Makes it hard to build momentum, I guess, so to speak. But I mean, I've. I felt like when I got off the show and like, things went over with Alicia and like the months after that, I put a lot of pressure on myself to like, find somebody and like, go out there and go on a bunch of dates and like, meet people. And I've kind of taken that pressure off now. And I feel like whenever something happens, it'll be meant to be in a way. And I feel like I operate way better when I don't put pressure on myself in the dating sense. Like, let it be natural. It'd be organic, not force anything.
Susan
I agree with that. Do you have a type? Is there a certain one that catches your eye? Is it a skinny, skinny girl like her, or is it a dark hair girl? A blonde? Do you have a certain or older women?
Sean
Like them all older women? Yeah, you know, older women. I think, like, the immediate eye catch for me me is like blonde hair, blue eyes, like, okay, active. I would say so. You know, I'm watching the Olympics right now and there's a lot of, a lot of cute girls on the team. They're all really good shape. They're great. I like watching the was it people from Norway and Sweden. I'm like, oh, wow, these are some cute girls.
Susan
Oh yeah. You can talk to blondes and blue

Kathy
You're a very good looking guy and you're successful. So I'm guessing there's no shortage of dates.
Sean
Yeah, I mean, you know, it depends. I feel like, for me, like, I'm on the apps, you know, every now and again. And, like, I try to set stuff up, but I feel like all the. The fun relationships I get into and the people I meet, it's always out organically. Like, it's always out and about. I'm at a bar. I'm like, oh, you're really cute. Like, what's your name? And then you hit it off and stuff like that.
Kathy
Wait a second. I'm sorry.
Sean
Wait.
Susan
We gotta ask him. Path about women.
Kathy
Hold on.
Susan
Yep.
Kathy
Give me your best. You asked that. I have one question before. Give me your best pickup. Sean, you're in a bar. You see Miss Sweden sitting down the bar. What do you say?
Susan
Wearing her medal.
Sean
Yeah. Well, how much time do I got? My stay at the bar for a while, or is it quick? Because there's two different answers. Two different answers.
Kathy
Give it. Give them to me. Both I want to hear.
Sean
Okay, so if I'm. If I don't know if I'm gonna be at the bar for a while and I have one shot at it, so to speak, you go up and. This is kind of cheesy, but I'll go up and be like, oh, my God, Alyssa, it's so good to see you. And then she's like, oh, my God, my name is not Alyssa. I'm like, oh, I'm. I used. I know this, like, beautiful girl named Melissa. I'm so sorry. I'm Sean. Nice to meet you. And usually, like, brings the tone down and, like, she off guard a little bit. Oh, this guy knows a beautiful girl named Melissa. And then, you know, we have that. If it's not, like, immediate, like, I have one. Maybe we're at the bar for a little bit. I'll, like, in passing, just be like, hey, I really like your dress, or, I like your purse, or, I like your shoes, or something like that. And then just walk away. Don't even, like, stay for a conversation. Just compliment and go by. And then if you're at the point where it's like, she's at the bar, like, 30 minutes go by. The chances they come up to you and say, hey, like, what's going on? Because they keep thinking, like, why didn't he say, and talk to me? Why didn't he ask me for my name? So there's a little bit of a long game in that one.
Susan
So let me ask you something. Would you find it odd if the woman came up to you and said, hey, I find you very good looking. Are you single? Are you? What's your story?
Sean
No, I would love that. I think. See, I would love it.
Kathy
Wait, wait, wait. Is that. Which girl you taking home to, mama? The one who comes up to you and says, you know, I think you're really hot. And what. How? Whatever.
Susan
I mean, I wouldn't say hot.
Kathy
Whatever. I like your. I like your.
Susan
I think you're very attractive.
Kathy
Whatever.
Susan
You stood out in a crowd. I'd like to know you.
Kathy
Are you going after that girl or
Dietz and Watson / Marine Glow Advertiser
the girl that you try to date?
Susan
Would it make a difference?
Sean
Well, I mean, no one's being my mom unless I truly get to know him a little bit. So, like, I think I would go on. I would go on dates with any of them, but obviously, what if you feel connected? It's gonna happen in more of, like an intimate setting where you're going on a date. Not as necessarily a crowded bar, but I'd be. I. I like. I like someone that's got some balls too, if they want to come up and approach me. That's awesome. Like, I like that.
Susan
See that, Kath? I'm trying to tell. Kathy, it's Susan. Okay.
Kathy
I know this is gonna come as a shock to you. Sean and I are not dating in
Dietz and Watson / Marine Glow Advertiser
the same age pool.
Kathy
Just a thought.
Sean
Who said so?
Susan
You think. You think older men.
Sean
Don't make assumptions about who I'm dating, you know?
Susan
Well, no, that. That they would take that as. Oh, my God, she must be wild.
Kathy
Listen, I tried it last week in California. It was a disaster. Moving on. Would you do paradise again?
Sean
Well, here's the thing. Everything I've done, I've had so much fun filming. Like, so much fun. I would say that my interest in paradise is very, very low at this point. I would say I'm open to other ideas in terms of shows. Like, I would love to do something competition based. I would love to do something with a little bit different element rather than dating. So, yeah, I mean, I'm open to doing another experience like that. I think Paradise. Like, I've done it twice.
Kathy
So am I. So if you get something, will you bring me along with you?
Sean
There might be something coming up here. There might be something that. Yeah, there might be something coming up here.
Susan
Nobody called us yet.
Sean
It's already, like, we already.
Susan
It sounds like, you know, something. Not.
Sean
Not. I don't think it's in the Bachelor universe, but there is. There might be something.
Susan
It's Okay.
Sean
I don't know when they're gonna announce it, but. Yeah.
Kathy
Do you need my number? Do you need my number? Are they calling me?
Sean
I think they might. Maybe for next year. Next year I'd already filmed, so.
Susan
Oh, yeah, See, they're already done. All right, tell me your thoughts on Taylor, Frankie, Paul.
Sean
I'm obsessed. I want to go back on her show. I know.
Susan
Everybody is. I can't wait to watch her.
Kathy
You'll be watching, I assume, right?
Sean
There is a part of me that's that, you know, just with the franchise. Like, I'm done with this franchise. They really are. Right back in. But there was a part of me that I legitimately almost reached out to the producer, so I was like, you got to get me on this season. Like, this is going to be so much fun. Like. And then I thought back to myself. I'm like, I've done three of these things. I don't know if I know.
Kathy
Well, you never.
Sean
When you are.
Susan
When you are in a bar going back just for a second, I never got this in. And you see somebody that you would like to speak with, do they recognize you?
Sean
Yes and no. I think the people that are approaching me, typically. They recognize you.
Susan
Right, right.
Sean
And, like, I never go into the assumption of, like, people know me because, like, the majority of people out there do not. It's just the ones that do. But I've had experiences where, you know, I started talking to someone, and, like, two weeks go by, and then. Then it comes out that they had actually known me the entire time. But they kind of Googled you. Yeah, this one. This one girl I was, like, seeing for a little bit. She. She watched, like, my previous Paris paradise season with her par.
Dr. Jake Goodman
I didn't even.
Sean
God, why? You didn't even met them. And it wasn't. We weren't even that serious. We were just going on a few dates. But she's like, yeah, my. My dad loves you on the show. I was like, what do you mean? Like, it's. Watching the show right now. Oh, God.
Susan
And then.
Kathy
And the fourth date would have been. Do you want my ring size?
Sean
Yeah. Yeah, it was. Yeah. But it's cool. I mean, like, I think it's cool how you interact with people. Like, for example, like, I think it's really fun. And, like, when people come up and say hello. When we were in San Francisco this past weekend, Tanner and I were at a bar after the super bowl, and this guy comes up to me. He's like, I know you. Do you live around here? And I was like, no, I'm in town. He's like, wait a second. You were on Paradise. I'm friends with Keith. And he calls Keith. And we. We get on the phone with Keith right there. It was like, amazing.
Susan
That's so cool.
Sean
Like that. It was just like, you know, small.
Kathy
Did you see on the Internet Keith get down on one knee at. In Carmel at the golf tournament and proposed to me?
Sean
He proposed to you? I thought he was just tying his shoe.
Susan
No, he was tied.
Kathy
And there is the story of my dating life in a nutshell right there. So before we. We're going to do an advice. A couple advice questions with you, but just in general, is there anything you can share with us now about what's coming up for you, what you're up to, what he can't.
Susan
He just thought anything that you can share. There's something.
Sean
Yeah.
Kathy
Other than the something.
Sean
Well, yeah, I think people will see me. See me soon on something. Going on different. Different show completely. But that's coming up. Should be. I think it'll be announced shortly. I'm not necessarily. Necessarily sure when, but at some point in the spring, you'll see it, which will be amazing. Amazing experience. I had so much fun. It was a blast. So that was fun. But no, I want to. Kathy, I want to hear about Carmel. Like, I'm very, very upset that I wasn't a part of that group. I love golf, and I see all you guys hanging out, having a blast. I was so bu.
Susan
I mean, that golf course is like that.
Kathy
It's just, you know, you go there and you're hanging with all the bachelor people. Not everyone's there, obviously, but just. It's such a family. And then just watch those golfers. Hole number eight. Let me just tell you, my goal to play is just. I just want to play number eight and I want to hit my. Drive that over that.
Susan
So beautiful.
Kathy
Cut in from. You know what I'm saying?
Sean
Yeah.
Dietz and Watson / Marine Glow Advertiser
The gully.
Kathy
The Goliath.
Susan
Yeah.
Kathy
I want to drive. I mean. And I'm thinking if I work it out. No, no, I'm thinking just put my ball, like 10 yards. That's, you know, the inside of the gully, and then head it to the green. That's what I want to do.
Sean
You got it. If you can think it, you can do it. For sure. I have faith in it.
Kathy
Yeah. I mean, it's beautiful.
Susan
Put it out to the universe.
Kathy
It was really fun. It rained on Wednesday, the day we went on the course. It was beautiful. You know, it's it's paradise.
Dietz and Watson / Marine Glow Advertiser
Then there.
Kathy
It just is.
Sean
It is beautiful. Haven't been out that way yet, but it's on my. My list. Pebble beach is one of the places that I got to get out there. It's amazing.
Susan
Amazing.
Kathy
And you know what? They have a lot of their. Sean, before we get to advice, which
Dietz and Watson / Marine Glow Advertiser
we're about to do, I just keep
Susan
trying to get it out.
Kathy
We don't want you to go until
Susan
you answer some of these.
Kathy
I just have to tell you. Do you know what they have a ton of?
Sean
No. What?
Kathy
Beautiful blonde hair.
Sean
I'm gonna book my flight right now. Let's. Let's get out there.
Kathy
All right, Susan.
Susan
All right, Sean, we need some of your advice. What advice do you have to any guy that's single right now?
Sean
Oh, what advice? I should put yourself out there. I think the. I think the people are so scared of rejection nowadays and, like, going up and approaching people. Like, I feel like maybe it's just the dating apps or maybe it's just the online presence. Very little. I think very little women are getting approached in person nowadays. I think it's becoming.
Susan
You're right. And it's. It's like, if it don't. The picture's not right next.
Kathy
Or.
Susan
Okay, you didn't talk right enough for me. Okay, I'll go with this one. There's so much available to people right now. Yeah, it's sad.
Sean
Well, I have, like, beautiful friends that are girls that go out and they never get approached at all. And it's like, why not just go up and say hi? And they're thinking the same thing. Like, I wish the guy would come approach me. I think the guys are thinking, I don't want to. I don't want to be rejected. I don't want to say no. But, like, at the end of the day, just go up and say hi and see where it goes. The worst he's gonna say is, hey, I'm not interested. And then you walk away, and then you're at a bar full of people, and there's other people to talk to,
Susan
and nobody else heard it. You know, you have to hear it, right?
Kathy
Really? So this is great dating advice. I hate that we have to depart. We have to wrap this episode. But I will say, I have learned a lot. I'm gonna go hang out at bars and say hello to men tonight. Just one right after the other. Hey, I like your purse, but I just wanna thank all of our listeners. Please keep sending us your questions. It's easy. We want your comments your thoughts.
