Donald Trump
Communism is very easy to sell. It destroys everything, but it's very easy. I'd be. I'll be honest. I think I'd be the greatest Communist in history. I'd give free rent. Ladies and gentlemen, from now on, you don't have to pay any rent. From now on, anybody wants a house, don't worry about it. Just pick the house you want. Everybody gets free food. Everything is free. From this point forward, everyone's going to vote for me. The problem is, after two or three years, the country is a disaster area. The country fails. They always do. It always does. So easy to sell that first year, boy, you're the most popular. It's happening right now in New York and California. But you'll start living in squalor. You'll live in squalor. There will be no food. There will be no housing. There will be no military. There will be no law and order. There will be no nothing. There'll be no nothing. You'll be a Third World inhabitant in every way and everyone will suffer or die. You'll suffer or die. That's what happens. For thousands of years it's been happening by different names. Thousands of years. I would be. I'm telling you, I'd be the greatest communist in history. It would be so easy. You wouldn't have to work. You could stay home. The problem is, a couple of years go by, the whole place collapses. All always does, always has. But I'm sorry to say, but assassinations of those who oppose them is a very important element of their ideology. Assassination is a big deal for them. They're animals. They're animals. In many cases they're not smart, but in some cases they are. It's easy for them to get followers because they make promises that they know they can't keep. And the Democrats aren't fighting back. That's why they're dumb. They're not fighting back. They're afraid. I watch humor, he's afraid to fight. I watch guys that are pretty normal and guys that we oppose, they're afraid to fight. The Democrats have taken a tremendous turn left. And many of these people. I looked at some of the people that got elected the other night in New York. These are. These are in many ways stupid people in some ways, and intellectually probably pretty smart. But they're people that want to destroy our country. They hate our country. They hate our people. They hate the Democrat Party. The Democrat Party is in big trouble because this isn't stopping with New York. This is going all too easy to get elected. Giving everything away. Too easy to get elected. Very dangerous. But you'll soon have nothing left. That's the problem. In many ways, they're allowing them to just go their own way. Do your own. We don't want to take a chance on saying anything bad because we're afraid we're going to lose our jobs if we do. They're afraid they're going to lose their election if they even think about saying anything bad about this new breed of sick people. They're not smart enough or tough enough to fight the plague. That's happening. It's happening right before your very eyes. If they fought them the way they fight Republicans or the way they fight me, they'd be victorious. They didn't beat us, but they'd be victorious against the communists. But they don't have the courage to do so. So they're turning communists themselves, becoming a Communist party. These are not Social Democrats. These are hardcore godless communists. They're godless communists. All communists are godless. They don't believe in God. This is the most serious threat to our country since its existence. In my opinion, 250 years ago. This is a major threat to our country. It isn't something that's easily solved, but with a little love and help, some hard work. Because it's ironic, we're celebrating a very important birthday, our most important birthday so far. 250 years. And instead of speaking about Christ and instead of speaking about freedom and victories of all different kinds, we're speaking about yet another threat to the foundations of America. These ruthless communists will attack all religions, but in particular Christianity. They always do. They're after Christianity more than any other religion. It seems to be more and more throughout the world. Maybe because we're doing so well. I don't know, maybe if we weren't doing well. But you see the numbers, how they're growing, how the churches are filling up. It's a beautiful thing to see. I mean, look, it happens to be during my presidency, so I don't mind taking credit for it. I'm very proud. But a lot of great things are happening. All communist countries attack religions violently. It's part of their deal.
Stephen K. Bannon
Okay, major address today. It's Friday the 26th of June Yovilla 2026. President Trump at the Ralph Reed's Faith and Faith and Politics forum over there today spoke at 1:30. Senate Big Truth Social or Faith and Freedom? I think it is Senate Big Truth Social saying this is going to be his big anti communist speech. Dr. Bradley Thayer, did the President stick The landing,
Dr. Bradley Thayer
Absolutely. It was a great speech. I think one of the most important of his presidency, and it really is akin to Ronald Reagan's evil empire speech in March of 1983, where Reagan focused on the Soviets. President Trump is recognizing that communism also is found in the United States, and it's becoming stronger. It is the cancer that he identified. So what Trump did is really important. The themes that he identified are absolutely critical. First, the reason why it's attractive to so many people, but it's always going to end in the same way. Very important for folks to call in mind to remember. Second, big theme is the recognition, absolutely, that Communists hate our country. Right. They hate our people. They hate Western civilization. And the intent is to destroy it and to do so around the world, wherever Western civilization is found, from Australia to Europe, Britain to the United States. And akin to that, he talked rightfully about how the Democrats are becoming communists. Right. I would argue that they already were communists, but his point was a very important one. I think, most significantly, his identification that they are the most serious threat to our country, and in 250 years, they're the greatest threat that we faced. And in my book, forthcoming book, America's Hundred Years War, how to Win Against Communism, I also make that point that it is the greatest threat that we faced in the United States. It has an external component, the Soviet Union, of course, in the past, the Chinese Communist Party today, but also that domestic component where it's found, of course, among the Democrats. It's found in our media. It's found. It's in our ideas, industry, the universities, K through 12. It's in our.
Stephen K. Bannon
Hang on, hang on. If the capitalist system is doing so great, and these are all the children of the capitalist system, and it's all doing so great. As President Trump walks through the economics and we're on fire, the hottest we've ever been. And we've got the best, you know, Democratic, Republican form, constitutional order. In the most powerful nation. We say the most powerful nation, the richest nation, the wealthiest nation, the nation that's freed more people. Why then, sir, do we have a problem? We have ceded. Every major city in the most powerful nation on Earth is run by a combination of Marxists, jihadists, all of them. They may call themselves a little bit different in Chicago, in Los Angeles and in New York City, but all of it's the same. And they are adamant about importing as many foreigners, particularly Third world foreigners, into this country daily to destroy this country. So if we're doing so well, why are people just kind of sitting there and letting it. One, why is it happening? And two, why do people that have a vested interest in the system, not defending it? Because they're not. They're all controlled opposition right now, sir,
Dr. Bradley Thayer
I think all the points that you said are true, but they're irrelevant for Communists. It doesn't matter how well things are going or how poorly. They're always on the offensive and always advancing. You want to remember that Kerensky, who was the leader between the czar and Vladimir Lenin's bolshevik revolution in November 1917, said Russia was the freest country in the world. They had incredible freedom, and yet the Communists were still able to seize power, because that's what Communists do inexorably, Steve. They're always driving to seize power, driven by that incandescent hate of Western civilization, of the United States, of capitalism. So why do so many people believe it? Well, I think Trump identified it. It's why it's so attractive. And why do so many people cave into it? Because it does seem to be the effectiveness of Communists, Right? They emphasize agitation, propaganda, organization and terror. So folks become scared of them. Communists are almost always going to be better organized, driven and backed by money, backed by resources. And so it's right that Schumer's afraid of them because they're coming for him. Absolutely. As they're coming for all Americans, as they're bringing about the revolution. So all of those things are true. Economy's growing, things look very good, but that's irrelevant from their standpoint. They're going to bring about their revolution unless they're stopped. Right. That's the key thing. And that's why President Trump's speech is so important, because he's drawing a line in the sand. He's saying, we're not going to allow this to happen and we're going to reverse it. As he said, it's not easy to be solved, but it can be solved. Right. Importantly, recognizing that communism is of the past and freedom is of the future, well, it's incumbent on all of us to make sure that that's true, that communism is, in fact, of the past and freedom is of the future. So you need to understand the enemy and to be able to think like communists, Right. We need to be able to understand really what their goals are, how they operate and what the endpoint is. And so all credit to President Trump for giving this speech and for calling attention to this threat and charging Americans with stopping it. And that's, again, incumbent upon all of us to do.
Stephen K. Bannon
Dr. Thayer, where can people Go and get your books coming out. Timing couldn't be more perfect timing. There's obviously a Marxist jihadist uprising in this country but it has attracted an awful lot of young people. One of the reasons they've been shaped, informed their formation was done academically and at home to hate this nation and more importantly to hate the citizens of this nation. This is why we have to put continue to put citizens first. They hate this nation. They're self loathing and they're going to be it's going to be quite a problem. If you don't think it's a problem. This is why I said that speech last year. The problems of the United States of America do not come from the streets of Tehran. The problems are coming and arising from the streets of New York City. Transported over here from the streets of London. Dr. Thayer, social media but particularly where can people pre order your book which is exquisitely timed, Sir.
Dr. Bradley Thayer
Guess. Steve Folks can go to Amazon or wherever folks can pre order books. They'll be able to find it. And so you're exactly right. The communists took over the ideas industry because their experts at political warfare they recognize the importance of education and it's time for us to take the measures some of which President Trump identified in his great speech today. And I'm at Brad Tharrett X Bradley Thurrett get her in truth.
Donald Trump
Yeah.
Stephen K. Bannon
Brad Thaddex Dr. Thay it's amazing, amazing book. Go ahead sir.
Dr. Bradley Thayer
And Steve, thanks so much for writing the forward.
Stephen K. Bannon
I knew it was going to be I knew it was going to be an extraordinary book and extraordinarily timed

lot going on in Texas. We're going to have Brandon hall step out but we're not going to do that. He's in fighting. I will tell you they passed that the Bible is going to be taught in Texas public schools. Is it 60 years since it was taught the Bible, the holy word of God and our Lord and savior Jesus Christ is going back into the Texas public school system. Also a whole list of western classics. They're still fighting for the social studies and to make sure the textbooks are right. My understanding things have kind of turned around. People are more focused and doing a fantastic job. What a massive, massive victory for the folks down in Texas. We're going to try to get a report before the end of the show tonight but I promise you we will have folks on here tomorrow to really go through this. The 150th anniversary gets these two or three days, the 25th, 26th, 27th of the General Custer in the Battle of the Little Bighorn. Remember, it was on the podium of the Centennial in Philadelphia. It was the 9 11, the 911 of its age in this war against the Plains Indian and Manifest Destiny in the building of the transcontinental railroad. The development of the United States not just to the Pacific Ocean, but then through the Pacific Ocean, through the three island ship. General Custer in the United States Army Cavalry played a very, very big role. Short break. Buy gold and put some silver in your pocket. I know what you're thinking. Everything's expensive right now. Stephen K. Bannon

Not a coin around, but it's with the qualifying purchase. You talk to Philip Patrick and the team, get all the details there, find out how to hedge today's financial turbulence. By the way, guess what we just hit. I'm not making this up, just hit Iran. I told you Marker had the most logical thing ever about the Yesterday as we played it the straight of Hormuz, he said, look, we don't care what Oman's got to say say about that. Quite frankly, don't really care about the Persians got to say about it. It's got to be open. And Marco laid it down, said, hey, if you, if you let these guys control, let these pirates control this, you're going to be haggling about everything. Straits of Malacca, Panama, all of it. They're going to be, every pirate in the world is going to, is going to shut down that strait, not going to have any free navigation whatsoever. So you just can't, you can't agree to it and you certainly can't agree to it in Hormuz. And so today I think we had a strike here momentarily. I would take it that the negotiations are not going as planned. Just saying they're putting it out there. What is not also going as planned is the Save America Act. I'm not quite sure I understand the strategy. You've got APL and some Freedom Caucus guys are saying we're going to shut down the floor from Johnson. Nothing comes to the floor. We're going to shut down the House as a forcing function to force the Senate to deal with the Save America act, which President Trump has told us and the entire war room posse and the MAGA base agree is absolutely essential to saving the nation. And President Trump just gave a very significant address to Ralph Reed's I think with Faith and Family about this Communist Marxist uprising here in the United States, particularly among some of the most elite and pampered kids in the world, because that's where normally starts and you've got to have free and fair elections or you're going to have a third world overrunning of the United States. Elizabeth Mitchell, you've got a great piece in the Daily Signal, so set it up for us. Number one, why does President Trump continue to make the case of how essential to the country this is, but particularly his political program?
Elizabeth Mitchell
Ma', am, thanks for having me back. So the question I wanted to answer here was even though so many people have told the president that the Save America act cannot pass, Thune has told him we don't have the votes. Cornyn has told him to let it go, move on. Many people have told him to move on. Why is that? The president has remained so committed to the Save America act, and I think it's because of a couple different reasons. One, as you told me, is that he had that experience at the 2020 election that he saw that he believes that that showed him that there are a lot of insecurities surrounding elections. And so he thinks this would fix what happened in 2020. He Also, I also think factor here is of course, the midterms. Not only would this give him a big win for Republicans to pitch during midterms, but I think that he considers the Save America act to be something that would help maintain the House and the Senate control so that he is able to keep on moving his agenda forward during his last two years instead of just spending it all in impeachment proceedings, subpoenas, that kind of thing if Democrats take control. And I think, of course, overall, he is very passionate about election integrity. This is something that has always really mobilized the base and is important to the conservative movement as a whole. And so I think there's a lot of different reasons here why this is something that has taken up so much time and space in his mind for such a long time. Despite the naysayers, when you're reporting this,
Stephen K. Bannon
there seems to be a difference of opinion, one with the power brokers on Capitol Hill in the House and the Senate. Also just in the White House staff, the lack of, and let's be blunt, the lack of enthusiasm for this because there's just not enough energy and enough urgency about this. It's the president that continues to push this world. True social if you go to the grassroots and I tell people, and I'm the most optimistic, I think I'm the only voice out there has said we're going to hold the House. If we just get it together and tighten down, we get hold serve by a seat or two, it's not going to be big and it's going to be trench warfare. Come down to a handful of seats. We can do this. The grassroots will be motivated if you just shine on the Save America Act. I don't see it. I think you lose 10, 20% of your best people say, you know what? I'm just, I'm too tired to do this. If they, if they're not going to do that. Everything we work for, you're not going to do it. As your reporting show the same thing. Have you seen that this grassroots, the grass particularly the grassroots leadership throughout the country is absolutely 100% has the president's back on this, but they want it to happen, not just to be a rhetorical exercise, ma'. Am.
Elizabeth Mitchell
Definitely this is the top issue probably for the base. Every time we're hearing from the base, this is what they're saying is their number one issue. But then we have all these people in the Senate who say it's not possible. And I asked Vice President Vance about this a few weeks ago and he told me, why not just take a vote? People in the Senate are always saying, oh, this can never work, this can never work. And he said, why don't we go ahead and try? And I think that that attitude in the white that he has and the President has is what could really move this forward in comparison to the people like Thune who say we don't have the votes and aren't willing to make some of the necessary changes to make this happen. But I really do think that the President is looking for more than a show vote here. He doesn't just want to get Democrats voting on the record against Save America act, very popular. I think it's about a lot more than that. He really does believe this can pass and wants it to get passed. But I think the idea that's come up lately, this potential strategy of attaching it to reconciliation, he has shot this down because it really would water down the Save America act and it would be very, very different in effect than what it was intended to do.
Stephen K. Bannon
Why is it that Thune, it seems to be as dug in now and adamant about not looking at options, not looking at alternatives, putting energy in back of one or two of them, starting to maybe bang some heads up there. Because there doesn't seem to be like a whip count or even a whip. They just tell them we don't have the votes. We don't have the votes. We don't have the votes. This is one of the reasons and I had Boll in here the other night when we kicked off our six hours live coverage of the, you know, the 50 state fair to kick off the 10 day and run up to the 250th anniversary in commemoration of the founding of the nation with the Declaration of Independence. Bol agree with me. In mid July, maybe time we ain't got 60 votes, maybe we don't have 51, but certainly somebody could come up with 27 and have a good old throwdown and a leadership fight about Thune's leadership. From your reporting, why does it seem the Thum is not really putting in any effort on this. You just hear the same thing. I don't want the votes. I don't want the votes. I don't want the votes.
Elizabeth Mitchell
Ma', am, I talked to Representative Chip Roy about this who sponsored the House version, and he said he thinks that the Senate is hiding behind this 60 vote threshold for everything for not accomplishing a variety of agenda items. And he said that he thinks they do have options. They're just not tapping into these. For instance, they could use the talking filibuster. They could change the rules so they could get things done with fewer votes, but they're just not willing to do it.
Stephen K. Bannon
Where do we go to continue? By the way, I want everybody to push out this article because this is one of the major things we've got the major thing. I think it has to happen. Where do people go, Liz, to get your reporting on this and to follow you on social media because I know you're on top of this. This is going to be changing even over the weekend. This is a big time fight. Where do people go?
Elizabeth Mitchell
Yes, we're covering Save America act every day. You can read about it@dailysignal.com and follow me on X@theelizmitchell.
Stephen K. Bannon
Liz, thank you so much. Appreciate you and appreciate Robert Bluey and everything you guys are doing with Daily Signal. Fantastic work, Great work, great reporting.
Elizabeth Mitchell
Thank you so much.
Stephen K. Bannon
Wade Miller, help me out here. Wade Miller from Sierra. Make this make sense. I don't, I don't, I literally don't understand this. This is the thing that's number one in the President's domestic agenda. It's been number one since the big beautiful bill passed. We he hammers it all the time. He sent out thousands of tweets. You know, it passed in the House. He's raring to go. It's something to motivate people and he's hit a wall in the Senate that now I think it's worse. And I've said this, it's worse than being a lame duck because at least they used to have respect for lame ducks. Here you got Cassidy, who finishes third in a primary as a sitting senator. I don't think it's ever happened in the history of the Union. He's yelling at the President in some lunch they've had. They invite him up there and he's standing up screaming at him, sir.
Wade Miller
Well, none of them can actually articulate substantive reasons to oppose the bill. And I think that every single excuse they come up with is a self imposed Excuse. Excuse. So if you look at the punch card that Cornyn's team had put together for Senator Cornyn, the first two reasons that they can't pass the Save America act were based on the open ended nature of a talking filibuster and how amendment processes will just continue to reset the clock and we'll never get to a point where we can actually force a vote on Democrats. And, you know, Rachel Bovard has a great point by point refutation of this. It's highly technical, it's very brilliant. She's, of course, a very brilliant person. But I think it's. Some of it is even simpler than that. If you're saying that the talking filibuster won't work because the clock resets, well, why does the clock reset? Because the rules that you all agreed to reset, it simply change the rules, make the talking filibuster workable. It's still an arduous process to do it, but you could at least set up forth a, a talking filibuster process with a new set of rules that would actually get to the conclusion you could get a vote at 51, or let's just get rid of the filibuster altogether. And I think that fundamentally what's really wrong with the Senate is that you and I think every day we wake up and we say, how do we save the United States of America and Western civilization? And I think a lot of senators wake up and they think, how do we reduce corporate tax rates? And that's their end game or something like that. They don't have the right frame of mind. And so what this does is it draws them into this tunnel vision where their concern is the Senate first, the processes and, you know, the norms of the Senate. And I think that when you're wrapping your mind around norms and processes, you're losing sight of the bigger picture, which is that we're gonna lose this country. Like Western civilization is under assault. Islam is a massive problem. We need to take some risks here. We need to actually start maneuvering. And for whatever reason, whether it's blue slips or the filibuster or the Senate parliamentarian or recess appointments, all of these things are in the way, self imposed.
Stephen K. Bannon
Wade, hang on a second. You're going to come back after the break. I want to go in deeper. We said, hey, there's no substantive argument against it. It's all about process. Wade Miller, everyone's focus on how the conflict in the Middle east is raising oil prices. But there's another grim reality to this contention. Oil isn't the only resource being constrained. About one third of global fertilizer trade happens through this region. And with spring planting season on top of us, American farmers are sounding the alarm with some saying they can't afford to plant their fields. When one piece of the supply chain gets hit this hard, you know what comes next? Higher fruit prices, reduced availability, maybe even panic buying. That's why having an emergency food supply at home makes so much sense. And that's where our friends at my Patriot Supply come in right now@preparedwithbannon.com that is preparewithbannon.com we've set up an entire just site for the war room posse. You go to preparewithbannon.com that's all one word. Preparewithbannon.com you get a three month emergency food supply. They'll include a free mega protein Upgrade, an incredible $200 bonus you don't want to miss. It's a simple way to protect your family from whatever comes next. Go to preparewithbannon.com that is preparewithbannon.com to get your emergency food supply today. That's preparewithband.com do it today. Go check it out.
Wade Miller
War room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Band.
Stephen K. Bannon
So Wade Miller joins us from cra. Wade, thank you so much by the way, Wade, as you know, because you guys have been such a warriors down there in Texas, the state Board of Education, they've got a new classic reading list. The Bible is going to be in Texas public schools for the first time in 60 years. They're fighting right now over some of the, what they call the social studies on the, on the, the textbooks for both elementary school and high school. High school may end up being delayed and they fight that later when, I mean later, like in a couple of weeks. I think we've had some very big victories a day against a pretty staunch opposition way. I just want to give your team and everybody associated with Texas all the great, you know, Patriot Mobile, everybody that's put their shoulder to the wheel. And you said a second ago about Western civilization, this thing in Texas better be a wake up call. I mean what we were talking about is updating Texas, the textbooks that are taught in the elementary and high schools for students. That would be basically because of scale economies picked up by let's say approximately 20 other states. And the fight for this was intense as like CAIR and other terrorist organizations, Islamic organizations jumped in there and wanted to have like the Islamic history of America. This became a pitched battle. But Wade, I don't Think people are quite awakened to the fact of how intense this effort to destroy this constitutional Republic in its 250th year. Sir.
Wade Miller
Yeah.
Donald Trump
Amen.
Wade Miller
And you know, I know for a fact that there are members of the state House there in Texas that wake up every day and they're figuring out how do we. My mission is to make sure the roads are functioning properly, which is fine. I like roads that don't have potholes in them. But if you're not waking up every single day as a member of the Texas government and thinking how do I save Texas from the Islamic invasion, how do we secure our borders from illegal aliens, how do we bring Christian values back into our communities, then you're not there for the right reasons. And we're seeing the same kind of misapplied attitude in the Senate where they just don't understand what time it is in America and they're not willing to take risks. We have a Senate that is playing a prevent defense when we're down seven points in the fourth quarter. They need to be blitzing, they need to be taking risks. They need a turnover, they need to get ball control and then they need to go on offense. We need to score some points here and that takes risks. We need to see leadership that is willing to take risks to save the country.
Stephen K. Bannon
Talk to me about you just made a point that you have not seen a substantive argument really against the Save America Act. It's all about customs, norms, traditions, processes. They make a process argument against it is that given the fact of what the stakes are here and what the president has said is his legislative agenda, is that good enough? Or are we just supposed to fold because it's too hard because of the processes and traditions and norms of the of the Senate?
Wade Miller
Sir No, I think it's not an excuse at all. I mean, look at blue slips. Maybe at one point in time in our history it made sense to get buy in from a local state senator. The senator of that state. Does this attorney or judge understand water rights for this region. But that's not how this plays out anymore. Now it's just a partisan veto of anyone from the other team. These things don't make sense anymore. We're not. These processes aren't being used for the purposes that they were originally intended. You know, the filibuster was supposed to slow things down, to have deliberation. The world's greatest deliberative body. They don't deliberate anything. They never debate anything. They're never on the floor having robust back and forth on why this is good or bad for the United States of America. What are we even doing here? They hide behind these things cuz that's just the way they are. Meanwhile, we're losing the country and they wanna hug and embrace these nonsensical traditions and norms and they're unwilling to take any risks. Meanwhile we're losing the country, our children's future is in danger and they go to fundraisers and they go on recess for two weeks and go home and go golfing and go, you know, visit rich donors. I mean, what are we even doing here? The Senate needs to wake up. We need real leadership in the Senate. They need to take this agenda seriously. They need to get over their norms and customs and start thinking that the purpose of the Senate is to defend the United States of America, its people and its culture. And they need to act accordingly. And I don't think that they think that at all. They don't wake up and that's not on the top of their mind. We need a total cultural mind reset of the function and purpose of the Senate and we need that to be led by Senators. We don't have six years to cycle these people in and out. We'll take what we can get for now, but we need real leadership today.
Stephen K. Bannon
You've got, you know, Ralph Reed's organization, which does a great job on ground game. They've got their conference here in dc. President Trump went and gave a major address today and he talked about the threat of communism and Marxism inside the wire in the United States today. Could the President raise the stakes any higher?
Wade Miller
Sir, you're right. I mean the Red Green alliance is in full force in New York City. We're seeing it. And Congress should refuse to seat them, by the way. But the President is every day highlighting nation saving ideas and pointing out to the people what's happening with communism. It's the DSA and you know, the Islamic alliance and how they're working together to specifically destroy Western civilization. And we have politicians that are just kind of twiddling their thumbs. Ho hum, you know, well this rule won't allow us to save the world or save the United States, so we're not going to do it. And you know, God bless President Trump. He's out there fighting the real fight. He's highlighting and the real issues of the day and explaining them in layman's terms so that people can understand the gravity of what's happening. We just need some leadership in Congress to match that energy and match that vision.
Stephen K. Bannon
Wade, as you often do as One of the heads of cra, the institutions set up by Russ vote. And you guys have put so much of your team inside the government. You get to the heart of it. I've been saying since this happened the other day, I think there were 7% of the vote of the Democratic Party that put these three radicals in. They have no allegiance to our country. Why would Johnson, Speaker Johnson seat them? Shouldn't we refuse to seat these folks in January of next year?
Wade Miller
I think so. I think this is fundamentally different than an AOC who we just disagree with and we think she has a radical vision. These people expressly have said that they want to destroy the United States and Western civilization. I don't know how we could see seat them and they could take an oath of office with those public comments out there and that be valid. So I fully agree. I think that the House should absolutely refuse to seat them and anyone else that the radical left tries to elect in their primaries that is similarly overtly anti American. Not even just we disagree with your tax policy or your view on social welfare programs. They just flat say they want to destroy Western civilization. Congress should not seat people who say that
Stephen K. Bannon
last thing. The President. This is what I don't understand. The Chip Roy, the Freedom Caucus also apl some other folks have come up with this forcing function to shut down the operation, something Matt Gaetz perfected and then before that, Meadows in the crowd years ago against Boehner. That's been perfected over time to shut down the business of the House as a forcing function to get the Senate's mind right. Yet the President truthed out something that, you know, we need to show unity, we need to have some action and we need to use all of our leverage because the Senate's not going to move on this. I don't know if the President's being given bad information. It's being misinterpreted. And but from when he came out to lunch yesterday the other day in the Senate and said we have great unity. Well, the great unity is against his legislative program, which starts with the Save America Act Act. Should we back. The folks in the House are trying to shut down business for the sole purpose of saying, hey, there is no other business here until we get the Save America act passed.
Wade Miller
So I think the House Freedom Caucus and aligned members kind of in that wing of the caucus are trying to figure out what leverage points they have and how they can operate them. I think that once the White House and the Freedom Caucus have additional opportunities to discuss this and figure out what the best paths to path forward is then, you know, let's listen to that and see if there's a united vision that we can get the entire movement around. I think there's two competing processes here. There's one that is kind of overtly political. You know, there's certain things we need to do to make sure that elections are won in the fall, at least that's their thinking. And I think the president is rightly has it on his radar. And then, you know, kind of comparing that to the strategies to shut down the Senate. Not that there's a lot coming out of the Senate to shut down in the first place, but what leverage can we do to get the nation saving legislation passed? And those two things aren't always going to be perfectly aligned. And so I think there's just a realization of how do we combine these two strategies without stepping on our toes, make sure that elections are won and also get good legislation passed. And so I think those conversations will continue to move forward. And I think the president and the House Freedom Caucus will find a nice sweet spot to put up their opposition to these, to this stalemate that we have in terms of saving the country.
Stephen K. Bannon
Wade, I do agree the Rachel Bovard piece is a masterpiece. A little technical, but I think the Warren posse needs to see it. So we will pull it, push it out, as you're also doing. Elizabeth Mitchell, where do people go to get more of the content of CRA on this topic and your social media coordinates, sir?
Wade Miller
Sure, you can go to americarenewing.com that's americarenewing.com and then I'm on XSET. Wade Miller, that's Aidmiller. And we've been putting a lot of content out on all of these various Senate fights, including one of our Senate pieces calling for the end of the filibuster, the end of blue slips, the use of recess appointments, and getting a
Stephen K. Bannon
new parliamentarian desert on the recess appointments. This is a particularly frustrating thing. President Trump has not had a day of official recession in the, in the Senate since he's been president the first four years and now for a year and a half. Don't we have to press the case for that, that they've got to go on recess and President Trump's got to get some recess appointments here, sir.
Wade Miller
So the Senate is intentionally sending someone when they're out of town just to have open session and then closed session almost immediately just so that 10 days don't occur where official recess could be called to prevent their own president from getting his team in place. It's astonishing. I mean, it's, I mean, they could negotiate this. They could say, look, do recess appointments. We want to have a debate about these five or six people, but do the rest of them go, go get the rest? They can negotiate a way to do this. They're just blocking the president's ability to do recess appointments. It's astounding that we have this much obstructionism from the leadership of the Senate.
Stephen K. Bannon
This is why, you know, Bo and I talked about the other day. I don't see how you avoid, if you want to, if you're taking this real and you have sense of urgency given the midterms. And I can say this, I think categorically, having gone around a lot of the country and seen things going on, the grassroots, I don't see any enthusiasm right now for people doing the type of voter engagement you need in modern elections to hold the Senate. I just. And the Senate's bragging about how much money they got. Well, the money didn't save John Cornyn and it's not going to save a lot of these stiffs in the Senate unless action is taken. I believe if you don't have a leadership fight sometime in mid to late July to fire people up and really get on the table, what are the principles that we're looking at for the Senate to govern themselves? I see the Senate getting blown out. I mean, it's just, I think they, and you list everything there that and we'll send people to CRA to get more up to speed intellectually. But it's time now. We got to have a confrontation on this. I thought the Pulte thing, the reason, one of the reasons we pushed it, besides the fact we knew Pulte would do a great job in getting to the bottom of the deep state, was to use that throwdown to force a showdown, to force a showdown in the Senate about this. And I think it has to happen. If it doesn't happen, we're going to lose the Senate to fall. So if you want to have a chance to save the Senate, you're going to have to have a confrontation in the summer of 2026. Wade, thank you so much. And we're going to get sent everybody one more time where they go to get all this information on the Senate.

War room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Band.
Stephen K. Bannon
Okay, we'll have more of this in a. In the morning, but there are. There have been strikes. President Trump launches new strikes in Iran as ceasefire talks collapse. That's at least the headlines in the British papers. I don't know if the president totally agree with that, but we have launched some strikes back. And this was, this was in response to Marco Ruby. And I think, you know, I've said that Marco has been kind of in the witness protection program about this Iran war ever since he went to the sticks three months ago, two and a half months ago, in memory, Secretary of State and national security advisor. And they asked him, he said, hey, how did, what was the imminent attack? He says, well, the imminent attack was on Israel and that's why we attacked first. And ever since he had that, he did the one thing you shouldn't do in Washington, tell the truth. He came back the next day and tried to explain it after that, kind of went radio silent and really has, I don't think, has been a forceful personality in the prosecution of this war and this in the kind of coming up with a solution that President Trump is clearly looking for. Now, yesterday he's in the Gulf, and I thought it was a real moment of clarity. What he had to say about the Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf, I think went a long way to get people's minds right saying, hey, we're not going to leave this situation with these people thinking they control the Strait of Hormuz and particularly Oman's essentially got nothing to say to it. Now after that, the Iranians and or the pirates that control that's the Persian side of the straight. Hormuz hit a couple of the, I think it was cargo vessels, not so short. All vessels think they're trying to send a message. Then President Trump retaliated today. So, I don't know, judge the ceasefire by that. I think it's coming clearer and clearer. We have a very, you know, limited strategic focus on this and making sure things are open to have the global economy move as, you know, unhindered as possible and then kind of move on. And remember, the Middle east is a sideshow in the Israel situation, in Lebanon and all that's a sideshow to a sideshow. Israel, we got to set it up. They go do their thing. They're not a vassal state. They won't be a protectorate. We can't merge the defense bases, we can't merge the intelligence. We got to get out. There's, I think 50amendments to the NDAA about paying for more soft are not going to do that. They got to pay and they get to do, as a sovereign nation, they can take on who they want to take on. And if they want to drive up to Damascus, get General Keane and get a tank column, let General Keane get in there and take it up to Damascus. They want to march to Beirut, go to Beirut, baby. It's your deal, and, you know, you do it. I think that's where we got to go, and I think we got to get there quickly. I think the President realizes now that this morass, particularly with the Arabs, I'm not so sure the Arabs are the greatest allies in the world and the Persians are kind of dug in. I think you fix it to the degree you can fix it, and you move on. We've had big victories, though. But when I say big victories, be advised. This is taking an effort. This was using the big muscles. And you have to ask yourself the questions. My God, if we have to dig in and do this over and over again and get volunteers and get people fired up and get them focused, because once they're focused, they'll deliver on the situation with textbooks. Here's why textbooks are important. Why are we in the situation we're in? It's quite evident. You look at New York City and you particularly looked at who voted for Mandami. Those are the most pampered kids in the world. They've had the quote, unquote, best education. When we say best education, they went to most elite institutions since their parents fought like savages to get them in pre K. Because if you're not in the right pre K in the right school, you're not on the Ivy League track. You're gonna let me know when Mary's ready, Producer. When she's ready, you'll let me know? Okay. We're still trying to get Mary. We're trying to get Mary Elizabeth Castle for Texas Values for Live report from Texas. Before we punch out. They've been raised. They've been raised to hate America. Mary Elizabeth Castle, you've been down there fighting the entire time on a Friday afternoon in Austin. Where do we stand on this epic battle, ma'?
Donald Trump
Am?
Mary Elizabeth Castle
So with the social studies standards, we're in a very good place. Now, you may have seen some a little bit of fuss about the American Revolution being taken out of the standards at a late time on Wednesday night. However, they were able to fix that issue. They put the American Revolution back in the standards, and they're going to postpone the high school standards for the moment, but they're going to vote very soon on the K through 8 standards that we believe reflect American patriotism, civic virtue, and don't shy away from religious liberty. So after a few clarifying amendments that they're going through right now, we hope for a very solid vote, but also warding off any kind of radical amendments by leftist organizations, which I think we've done a good job at warding off and defeating.
Stephen K. Bannon
And what about. I understand the Bible is going to be back in Texas schools for the first time in 60 years. And there's a whole list of classical texts that are now going to be in a reading list. Did we win those fights?
Mary Elizabeth Castle
Absolutely. That's the first victory of today. So just a couple of hours ago, they voted on a list of reading materials that are required for K12 students. And they include in every single grade either a Bible verse or a reference to the bible. So that's K12. All throughout your education, you're going to have some reference to the Bible, whether it's a common story like Jonah in the well or it's Psalms 23, which we know Psalms 23 is quoted in so many pieces of literature, classic literature. People often say the Lord is my shepherd, not knowing where that comes from. But we are so happy that this list passed by a vote of 9 to 5, by an overwhelming majority on the board. And this list will be implemented in schools very soon. We're very thankful for this vote. And it just reflects that you have to stand up for religious liberty, but also the historical and educational value of understanding biblical references. And I'm so glad in the great state of Texas, our students will be able to have that.
Stephen K. Bannon
Mary Elizabeth, we got a heart out. But I want your social media so people can follow you. I know you're putting up updates all the time. Where do people go?
Mary Elizabeth Castle
Absolutely. Please follow txvalues.org on Facebook and on X and then also on my personal X me government relations. You can see minute by minute updates on what's going on and hopefully a vote very soon from the state Board
Stephen K. Bannon
of Education, Mary Elizabeth Castle. We look forward to seeing tomorrow morning on the Saturday morning show to give us a total update. Thank you, ma'. Am. Keep up, keep fighting. All right.
Mary Elizabeth Castle
Thank you so much. Appreciate it. Thank you, Steve.
Stephen K. Bannon
It's the Mary Elizabeth Castles in this country. These patriots that have dug in and dug in hard. People should know it's been a hard fight. Just take your number two pencil out and write that down. To keep patriotism and the values of this country in the greatest state in the union took a fight. Write that one down. And then think about New York City. Think about who's driving New York City and the education these people had in their formation to hate the United States of America and to hate American citizens. Okay, second hour is upon us. Ben Harnwell's gonna be here. I'll be back tomorrow morning. Show is gonna be lit. Join us back here at 10:00am Eastern Daylight Time for the war room. Stick around, Ben. Next. Why wait till you're down to your last pill stuck? Traveling or dealing with a packed pharmacy when you can already have your medications on hand? Seriously? You know what you normally take? You already know what your family could need. That makes no sense. Smart families don't operate like that. That's why I love All Family Pharmacy. They're built a better, simpler system. Title: One Nation Under God; President Trump's Commitment To Saving America
Date: June 26, 2026
Host: Stephen K. Bannon
Featured Guests: Donald Trump (recorded remarks), Dr. Bradley Thayer, Elizabeth Mitchell, Wade Miller, Mary Elizabeth Castle
Episode 5475 of Bannon’s War Room centers on President Donald Trump’s address at the Faith and Freedom Coalition, sounding the alarm against what he calls a rising communist threat within the United States. The discussion expands to the Save America Act and its struggles in Congress, the challenges facing election integrity, the broader ideological battle for Western civilization, and a major cultural victory in Texas public education. Panelists analyze the stakes, motivations, and fault lines within the Republican Party and conservative movement.
[00:00 – 05:03]
President Trump delivers a wide-ranging denunciation of what he labels "godless communists," emphasizing the ease of selling communism with promises of free goods—at the cost of long-term societal collapse.
He warns of the leftward shift among Democrats, claiming they are "becoming a Communist party," and underscores the existential threat communism poses to American freedoms, especially Christianity.
Trump draws a connection between historical communist regimes’ repression of religion and current threats facing American society.
Notable Quote:
"I’d be the greatest Communist in history. It would be so easy... the problem is, a couple of years go by, the whole place collapses." — Donald Trump ([00:11])
Trump concludes by celebrating the resurgence in church attendance and claims it as a point of pride for his presidency.
[05:35 – 07:39]
"It is the greatest threat that we faced in the United States... it has an external component, but also that domestic component where it’s found among Democrats, the media, universities." — Dr. Bradley Thayer ([05:58])
[07:39 – 11:28]
[16:44 – 39:45]
Elizabeth Mitchell discusses why President Trump remains fixated on the Save America Act despite opposition from Senate leadership and skepticism over its ability to pass.
"The President is looking for more than a show vote here. He doesn’t just want to get Democrats on record... He really does believe this can pass and wants it to get passed." — Elizabeth Mitchell ([22:08])
"If you’re not waking up every single day... and thinking ‘how do I save Texas from the Islamic invasion, how do we secure our borders, how do we bring Christian values back,’... you’re not there for the right reasons." — Wade Miller ([31:47])
The concept of congressional "controlled opposition" is raised, questioning why establishment Republicans are reluctant to advance supposedly critical legislation.
[43:04 – 52:40]
"We are so happy that this list passed... it just reflects that you have to stand up for religious liberty, but also the historical and educational value of understanding biblical references." — Mary Elizabeth Castle ([51:22])
[35:01 – 42:53]
"They hide behind these things... Meanwhile, we're losing the country and they wanna hug and embrace these nonsensical traditions and norms and they're unwilling to take risks." — Wade Miller ([33:34])

Episode 5475 of Bannon’s War Room is a clarion call for conservatives concerned about the leftward drift in American politics, culture, and education. With President Trump’s speech as a backbone, discussion weaves through immediate legislative battles (the Save America Act), internal GOP discord, and the ideological war over America’s identity, both in Congress and in classrooms. The show concludes with celebrations of policy wins in Texas, alarms about procedural inertia in Washington, and a rallying cry for urgent action—whether in passing laws, changing educational standards, or fighting perceived threats at home and abroad.
