Steve Bannon
Steve Bannon, one of the President Elect's original supporters and favorite podcasters, will have a renewed sense of self and a greater sense of power ahead of that day. He's been telling everyone that will listen that he has promised nothing short of brutal revenge against, quote, Deep State players who stand in Donald Trump's way. Andrew Rice of New York magazine was one of the people Bannon spoke to shortly after he was released from prison. And what Bannon proclaimed was that America had rendered a decisive verdict and that they wanted Trump back. He claims this happened by a complete remaking of the American electorate. According to Rice, quote, if Bannon had his way, a lot of Democrats, Republicans, turncoats and denizens of the Deep State will be headed to places like Danbury, the prison where Bannon spent the past four months. Those on his target list included President Biden, Hunter Biden, Attorney General Merrick Garland, January 6, prosecutor Jack Smith, Liz Cheney, Nancy Pelosi, New York Attorney General Tish James, and Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg. During a show, Bannon made clear that the principal order of business was revenge because these folks, quote, committed crimes which he, of course, could not define. I'm going to start with this, something I'm really, really committed to. And I've said this multiple times, I'm not going to spend the next four years talking about palace intrigue, right? Like, I am concerned with the actual news and policy of what's going on here. So I want to start with this. The Steve Bannon actually think he will be a part of this incoming administration because, look, jobs have been offered to every single reality TV show, Fox News host that's out there. But we haven't heard word that Steve Bannon will actually be getting a security clearance to walk into the White House like a lot of other people.
Andrew Rice
Well, Steve Bannon hasn't himself been offered jobs, but look who has been offered jobs. Matt Gates was the former co host of Hill and co host of the, of the War Room. The War Room being is television and podcast that he does on a daily basis. People like Boris Epstein, people like Cash Patel, others who are quite close to the President frequently appeared on that show and maintained close relations with them. And Trump himself maintains an open line of communication to Bannon. I think it's fair to say that Bannon represents, you know, the ID of the MAGA movement and Donald Trump always likes to stay in touch with that id.
Steve Bannon
So when Bannon is running off this list of people that he wants to destroy, he wants to have them all imprisoned, does he have a methodology for doing this. And again, why this is important is if we have people who are not elected but have outsize influence in an incoming administration who can simply say, I don't like this person, and pull the levers of power and have people thrown into jail, that is a dangerous authoritarian state. So how does he think he's going to do this? I mean, he's. He's not ag. Right. He's not going to have a department position. So how does he think he's going to throw Joe Biden in jail? How does he think he's going to extra double down jail for Hunter Biden? How does he plan to do or enact the revenge that he talked to you about in this interview?
Andrew Rice
I mean, I think it's pretty clear how he intends for that to happen. He intends for that to happen via Donald Trump. Trump. This isn't just Steve Bannon saying this. I mean, Donald Trump has called for the investigation or prosecution of everyone from, you know, Jack Smith to the Seltzer, the pollster in Iowa. The other day, he was calling for the investigation of her for political, you know, information warfare. I mean, Trump himself has talked about prosecuting as his enemies. And so the idea that Bannon is endorsing this is he's really a voice in the choir rather than somebody out there alone.
Steve Bannon
I want to play some sound of some of Bannon's promises of the people he's going to go after and get your thoughts on the other side.
Unknown
I think Mark Milley has to be.
Recalled to active duty on the afternoon of the 20th. And I think a military tribunal, a court martial, has to be called.
Katie Cherkaski
Right.
Unknown
Impaneled a court martial, and Mark Milley has to be brought up on charges in court martial.
We're going to burn some of these institutions down to the ground because you know, why they need to be burned down to the ground? Metaphorically.
The Justice Department's getting swept out. The FBI is getting swept out. You people suck, okay? And now you're going to pay the price.
Steve Bannon
So this is Bannon's tearing down the state rhetoric. He's been doing this for 10, 15 years now. That's not entirely new. He may see his dream come true. Did he express to you in this interview what he thinks any of these institutions should be replaced with? I mean, for example, if you don't like the FBI because they investigated Trump, the FBI also investigates domestic terrorism. The FBI also investigates international crime. The FBI also investigates gun running. So when he says tear down these institutions, does he just want to build them back up, or does he just think they should be gone because the state and bureaucracy are too big?
Andrew Rice
Well, I think that whatever Steve Bannon might want to do, I think that what is more likely to happen is that people who are loyal to Trump, unquestionably loyal to Trump, are going to be placed in control of these institutions. We've seen reporting today that Chris Wray, the FBI director, is likely to be forced out, fired as soon as Trump becomes president, perhaps replaced by Cash Patel, who is a frequent guest on Steve Bannon's show. You know, there's similarly at the Justice Department. It's not just Matt Gaetz who's, who's there sort of sailing under the radar as Donald Trump's whole criminal defense team, who, you know, are many of them qualified federal prosecutors, former federal prosecutors, but nonetheless, people who have been working for the past couple of years to make sure that Donald Trump. I didn't serve any time in prison and was able to get away with it. So really what we're seeing is a new sort of cadre of folks being put into positions of power.
Steve Bannon
Is he more aligned with this second Trump administration than the first? So is he likely to be more powerful now than he was the first time? Is he going to be a voice that's going to be listened to and seen less as a threat, but more as a, as a guidepost this time around than he was before?
Andrew Rice
I mean, let's think about who was, you know, in the White House when, when Bannon was pushed out, you know, John Kelly, you know, and others sort of people, people who consider themselves to be institutionalists who wanted to kind of cut down on the chaos that surrounded Bannon and others at all times in the White House during the first six or eight months of the, of the first administration? You know, I think it's fairly clear whose side Donald Trump is on or, you know, who. It's been resolved, you know, where Donald Trump is going to cast his lot. He's going to cast his lot with the bomb throwers. And so in that respect, Steve Bannon is somebody who is a voice that Trump listens to. He's a voice that shapes opinion on the right. And so therefore somebody that is worth paying attention to.
Unknown
This is the primal scream of a dying regime. Pray for our enemies, because we're going to make the evil on these people.
I got a free shot on all.
These networks lying about the people.
The people have had a belly full of it.
I know you don't like hearing that.
I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that.
But you're not going to stop it.
It's going to happen.
Stephen K. Bannon
And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
Unknown
MAGA MEDIA I wish in my soul.
I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
Ask yourself, what is my task and.
What is my purpose? If that answer is to save my.
Country, this country will be saved.

It's Wednesday, the 20th of November, year of our Lord 2024. That was MSNBC last night, the readout with the professor sitting in for Joy Ann Reed and of course, Andrew Rice that did the profile of us over at the War Room show over at New York magazine. If we put that photo up, I want everybody, and if Grace and Mo can push this out and Jane push it out to social media, I want everybody to read the piece because the guy hung around with us for a couple of days in the lead up to the show last week. So there's a lot going on. So the battlefield has many fronts. Number one, Senator Tuberville is going to join us at the bottom of the hour to talk about DoD and the senior military, but also the situation with the judges. President Trump has come out. It's a high priority for him now. We told you Elizabeth Warner was going to be all over this. We must stop these Democrat judges. The Senate must go into every possible rearguard action to slow this down. President Trump could have, I don't know, 20, 25, 30 potential slots to start off. The theory of the case here is to seize the institutions. They claim they're the institutionalists. They claim they're the system who were the anti system. What we're saying about the system, it has to be restructured, revived, restored, renewed. This is the concept of Schumpeter's creative destruction. This is the taproot of capitalism, of a capitalist society. The problem we have now, we ain't a capitalist society. We have an oligarchy, oligarchy on Wall street, oligarchy in Silicon Valley, kind of a mini oligarchy in Hollywood, the content providers. And they have a political class here that does their bidding. That does their bidding. That is what we have to break. To wit, a great piece in the paper of record, the New York Times today on the front page, broke, dismayed and distrusting of Democrats. Let me repeat that. Broke, dismayed and distrusting of distrusting of Democrats. From hope to cynicism for minority voters in working class 2/3. And I keep telling you about at Danbury Prison where I Taught the course with the young African American right there. If you can pony one of the lead stories on the front page above the fold. Populism and economic nationalism reaches these folks and touches them, that they're American citizens. And we're putting the interests of American citizens first, America first and her citizens first. Everything has to come through that, that framing. If we do that. And President Trump has led this effort. And that's why we have to have these investigations, not about Trump personally, not about Steve Bannon personally or Tucker Carlson or Peter Navarro went to prison or even Tina Peters. We have to do it because we have a fiduciary responsibility to make sure this is never done again. That's what this is about. And to take control, which you have to, we have to reassert civilian control over the Pentagon. Look, I was four years at sea and came back as a special assistant to the Chief of naval operations in 81. The things that the uniformed services do today and particularly did in President Trump was inconceivable back in the 80s when Cap Weinberger came over as Secretary of Defense. That has to all be changed. We're going to have some experts on here to talk about what Pete Hegseth and why they fear Pete so much over the Pentagon. But on this front Today, today, it's the 20th of November. Yo, folks. 60 days from now at noon, when this show ends at noon, in what, an hour and 47 minutes, Donald John Trump will have his hand on a King James Bible taking the oath for the second time. We're burning daylight. We're burning daylight on the transition because the theory of the case is the media. And maybe we'll play that. MSNBC went through that to flood the zone. You do flood the zone. It's not the Democratic Party. They're fairly hapless, as you can tell from the African American Hispanic working class folks in the New York Times article. They've taken them for advantage for decades and decades and decades. The opposition here is part of is this media complex backed by the money and the power and the muscle of the oligarchs on Wall street and in Silicon Valley. And you have this kind of puppet political class here. So what you do is you flood the zone. You flood the zone. You so overwhelm them with so many different things that you're working on. This is why these Cabinet picks have been so amazing. You overwhelm them. There are two other nodes. Number one, in early January, in about, I don't know, 40 days, you have to line up some of the Most important, confirmation hearings, all simultaneously. All simultaneously overwhelmed the system. And then on the 20th, it's a Monday. It's a day we go to work. And right afternoon you come in, you come in hard and you come in hot. Boom. Across the board, economically, on the. On the border on mass deportations and on the dewokification of the entire government, but led by the Pentagon. Who's going to do that? Pete Hegseth, who, if we do this correctly, will be confirmed sometime in the first two weeks of January when you flood the zone three times to do it. One now, two in early January, three in the 20th. That's the plan. Let's hit it. All gas, no break. My question is, where are we on the second wave of announcements?
Stephen K. Bannon
Boom.
Unknown
Hit the first wave with a second. Always keep them on their back foot. Always and everywhere. Keep them on their back foot. Short break. Back with amazing Peace in the New York Post. Next in the war room.
Big victory on the 5th of November. Now the work can finally start on the big issues facing the country. One of the biggest is the national debt and the deficits that drive it. Hey, you think the country's broke? The country is broke. We're just printing money to keep this house of cards going. The strategy remains the same for you. You got to diversify, diversify your savings. That's why buy gold from Birchgold. So many things are out of your control, out of the President's control. Just put him in there. Okay. Welcome back. We're a little jammed today. Senator Tuberville is going to join us here momentarily. But I honored to have Katie and Andrew Cherkaski. They are the authors of Woke warriors and an amazing piece. That's the book that came out in April from Post Hill. The great guys over Post Hill. They also have written an Incredible piece in the New York Post about, I guess, the dewokification of the Pentagon and how Pete Hegseth is the best guy to do it. Katie, I'll start with you. So first off, how deep is the problem really? Is this just, you know, the Fox guys and Bannon and, you know, Dan Bongino just talking smack, or is there a serious problem at the Pentagon in this political correctness? Dei? All of it, ma'am.
Katie Cherkaski
Oh, it's absolutely insidious throughout the Department of Defense. So we have worked a long time with the military. We were military prosecutors and defense counsel. We represent military members now in our law practice. The DEI policies have basically totally infested the entire Department of Defense. There's, I think people would be shocked to learn how much time, money, resources is put into investigating and essentially dealing with these so called issues that come up because of the DEI programs. We're losing really seasoned and honorable military members because of these trivial infractions that have been prioritized by the current White House and by the Pentagon. So it is vital, in my opinion, that we completely reverse course.
Unknown
Andrew, is this, is it just some bad actors or is this systemic? And did this start after President Trump left office or has this been going on for a while? My point is, are the roots of this deep in the Pentagon or is this, can we replace a couple of three bad actors and it'll be solved?
No, it's catastrophic and it needs a total reshaping. The Pentagon and the DOD at large have become a social welfare program. And when we talk about woke issues or leftist agendas, we have to look at the military because they have employed virtually every single one of the left agenda items in a particularly broad and successful manner. I mean, we can talk about the trans issues that have hit the front headlines about what's going on with drag shows and transgenderism within the military as kind of the big red siren. But it started really, I think, in the Obama administration. The really first issue that hit and swept the Military was the MeToo movement before it was even a national me too movement. It really eliminated so many of the more masculine leaning and more masculine ideology type ideas of the military and started to totally deconstruct what the military is all about. Now you go to a military base and there's MeToo posters everywhere. You go in the hundreds every time you walk onto a base. But then you get into the money of it and you look at the environmental programs that they have taken on in defense of global warming spending, having $3 billion packages to curb global warming, where President Biden has said that global warming is the biggest threat to planet Earth, not nuclear warfare, which is obviously the biggest threat that we face. And if we're not defending ourselves and ensuring that we're protecting the world from nuclear war, that's the big problem that we have. So we have to go deep into the roots of the military, the ideology, the education that goes on, and totally reframe what the military is about and go back to a much older mindset of what it means to protect the nation and ensure safety throughout the world, not try to build some sort of social program through the misguided kind of idea that we're trying to protect our nation, but we're doing it in the course of just spending an unbelievable amount of money and resources to do so.
So, Katie, you guys make a very compelling case. Pete Hexith, awarded two Bronze Stars. I know Pete personally. He's a great guy and a true warrior and a man's man. But he comes at things from, with a junior officer's perspective that's been on the battlefield. You make the case that he's the right guy. So how does a junior officer control the biggest industrial complex in mankind's history that's so, so complicated. And at the same time, to manage that, to increase our war fighting, takes on this cultural rot in the Pentagon. How do you put that on a guy who, as brave as he is, as tough as he is, as charismatic as he is, is still a junior officer? Ma'am.
Katie Cherkaski
Well, I think that big picture here, the military's mission is really quite simple. It's to defend our nation and win its wars. And I know that Pete Hagse has obviously also written a book about the wokeness in the military and understands that a lot of what we're focusing on is just a huge distraction, not to mention the dollar figures that go into it. And so in terms of streamlining the focus of the military and getting rid of a lot of these programs, a big part of the leadership of the Pentagon really needs to be more focused on how to get rid of a lot of things, not so much managing all of these things that have come up that are totally unnecessary, unwarranted, and are undermining the mission. So I think in terms of the top leadership there, and I know he'll have a lot of wonderful people supporting him in terms of getting a lot of the work done, he understands from a deep philosophical standpoint, from his own experience being in the military and then also just being a supporter for so Long from his public Persona. I think that he is the right person because he has that deep understanding and understands that it's not just as simple as overturning a DEI policy. It is so deep in the culture of the military. These programs have been essentially now weaponized by the folks that are at the lower levels. They know that they can just simply file complaints against their leadership. That leads to full scale distractions. It just takes us off course from that very streamlined and primary mission of actually defending the nation and winning its war. So somebody that understands that and appreciates how insidious the problem is, I think that they are absolutely the right person to lead the Pentagon through this.
Unknown
Andrew, what is your thing? You tell Pete if you were advising that one or two things he's got to focus on day one, if he's to get to the. The systems part of it as you get to the to start to drive it out of the system. Where does Pete hesit go on day one according to Katie and Andrew Sir?
Well, the DOD instructions as well as the individual service branches instructions and regulations that deal with DEI and equal opportunity and the massive distraction that has been caused by all of that, virtually all of that can be withdrawn. All of it really is under either the DoD's authority or under executive order and can be immediately withdrawn. Now there's a lot of money that's on the line. The National Defense Authorization act often has Congress conditioning a lot of its money on the execution of these various programs. But those programs can go by the wayside and you can revisit the funding and the money on the tail end of that dealing with that. I think the next thing is to root out the individuals that are at the top of the DOD that push these leftist agendas so vigorously and so relentlessly. It is unbelievable. I mean, we have dozens of people sitting on commissions and boards that go on for years and years being paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to investigate with incredible depth things like the racial makeup of court martial panels and the intricacies of exactly what a woman can or can't do in combat. They get back in that example, they get back reports that say that women are not effective in combat. And instead of actually acting on that information, they ban doing future studies of that sort so that they can find a way to put women in combat. That's one of Pete Hegseth's talking points about how to reshape the military. But getting rid of the leadership that has pushed that in the academies and the institutions as well as through the lower rankings for years and years now, those folks have to be gone. The regulations have to change and the savings and the money will flow from it as a result, almost instantaneously.
Katie they started MSNBC did a big segment last night on the show and they led with my calling for General Milley to be recalled to active duty and court martialed. And their msnbc, the New York Times, Washington Post are all over the show. And myself that this is so outrageous even to bring it up. You've been a prosecutor and you've also now defend people in the UCMJ world. Given the facts that you've seen, is it too outrageous that I've called for Millie to be recalled to active duty and face a military tribunal on a court martial?
Katie Cherkaski
Ma'am well, the reality is that retired military members are still subject to the criminal jurisdiction of the ucmj. And so it does happen. It's not unprecedented. And people are recalled from retirement to face accountability for misconduct. So certainly that is something that I think should be explored and I think that the accountability at the highest levels is very important. Now, that aside, I think what Andrew had said about removing people and actually moving forward with progress is the more significant portion of that. But accountability is still something that should absolutely be looked into. And I think that General Milley is probably at the top of that list, along with a lot of others, Secretary Austin himself have pushed these agendas and have really sacrificed our operational readiness. I think that there's really no question when you're putting so much time and money and hours of training into these alternate issues and not on the actual mission itself, how could you possibly claim to be as prepared as if you were not focusing on these distractions for so long. So certainly something that can be explored. It's very viable, legally speaking, and maybe sets an example for future reference for folks that want to to push the military so far from its actual mission.

Okay, Gates is going to be up on Capitol Hill with Senator Vance. We're going to get to all of this, the fight and the judges. Gates in a second. Tuberville is going to join us. Senator Tuberville, the coach. Katie, Senator Tuberville is a big part of your writings, the book, all of it. Just tell us, before I bring in Senator Tuberville, what has been his role in getting the Pentagon and the military back to war fighting and with no woke, ma'am?
Katie Cherkaski
Well, we do talk a lot about Senator Tuberville. In our book we have a chapter talking about the war of attrition and essentially how conservative politicians are bullied into concessions on some of these issues. And Senator Tupperville really stood his ground blocking military promotions because of the issues with the abortion access in the military. So we really appreciate that he stood up for that because a lot of times people can be essentially bullied into conceding things without understanding the significant impact.
Unknown
Yeah, Andrew, social media, where they get the book, where do people follow more your writings? We're pushing out this New York Post piece nonstop. But your understanding of the problem, you and Katie and Senator Tuberville and his critical role to get back to war fighting, our audience is all over. So where do folks go today to find out more about you?
Well, are book woke warriors Available on Amazon. How the left is destroying America's ability to fight and win its wars. I encourage everyone to get a copy. It's a quick read, but it goes deep into the weeds on the details of why we say the military has gone fully woke. You can see us on X at Cherkasky Law and Katie at Turkaski. Katie, thank you. And we're often on FOX News and we're pushing our message out there as much as possible because this administration has such a rare opportunity to reshape the military, but the entire government, and we're.
So excited about it, deconstruct the administrative state. Thank you guys very much. Look forward to having you back on. For more in detail, in depth interview. Thank you, guys.
Katie Cherkaski
Thank you.

Senator Tuberville, last time you were heading to Normandy, it was the day of your thing. I haven't had a chance. I took a four month break. Right.
Stephen K. Bannon
Long vacation.
Unknown
Long vacation at spa. First off, how was Normandy? I know it was going to be a very moving time for you. Tell me about it.
Stephen K. Bannon
It was really good. Again, my dad landed there first day and drove a tank across Europe. And you know, it's emotional seeing all those crosses and the lives lost and how well kept. It is cemetery, you know, kind of a little disappointing. And McCrone and Joe Biden, you know, they wheeled in, it was kind of chilly. And they wheeled in in wheelchairs, 200 of our last veterans of D Day. And they made them sit there for an hour and a half in the wind and the cold because they were an hour and a half late. And they come in in helicopters and all this stuff. But that being said, you can expect that. But it was a, it was a moving experience for me to just look at the cliffs and the things that we had to overcome, you know, on that terrible week where we lost 50,000 of our great Americans.
Unknown
Unbelievable. The 80th anniversary. Let's talk about the work at hand today. You've been a hero. You led, you led the fight on the, you led the fight with, on the military. You're a warrior, you're a fighter. You're one of President Trump's closest allies. There's a firestorm up on Capitol Hill, particularly about the Attorney General Gates. You've been at the lead of this and taken some pretty bold steps and statements. He's up there today with J.D. walker. Is Gates going to get confirmed?
Stephen K. Bannon
I would hope, but this is going to be a fight, Steven. It's just not about Matt Gaetz. It's about our country. You know, they're going to fight tooth and nail. There will be more lawsuits coming up on everything. I think the deportation, which is badly needed is with Tom Holman in charge is going to be. We'll have lawsuits and they'll push back. They're going to try to hold on for four years.
Unknown
Talk to our audience about that. We go through the resistance every day. You see it up there in the judges right now. They're not quitting, they're not here. It's not about unity. They're there to fully stop Donald Trump and hopefully take. Their plan is to take the House in two years and impeach him, right?
Stephen K. Bannon
Yeah. When their plan was accelerated because they stole the election from President Trump and they were able to get four years with a, with a bedridden dementia patient. Basically at the end of the day, I hate to say that, but you're with me.
Unknown
There's no doubt in your mind.
Stephen K. Bannon
Oh, no.
Unknown
No doubt in your mind that 2020 was stolen?
Stephen K. Bannon
Listen, I've been up here four years and I saw him maybe four or five times in the Capitol and somebody's got to hold his arm and he shuffles his feet around. I'm thinking this guy's making decisions about our country. You know, he's over there bird watching the last week in the Amazon and we're shooting long range missiles into Moscow. Are you kidding me? I mean, these people should be arrested for what they're doing.
Unknown
You agree that there should be with total transparency and all that, investigations to see what's happened the last four years, this criminal conspiracy and particularly in things even like Ukraine of what's gone on 100%.
Stephen K. Bannon
I mean, it's all about the minerals over there, about the $11 trillion worth of minerals. You know, nobody noticed it yesterday, but we, Rand Paul and I noticed that Joe Biden forgave 5 billion of the loan that we gave him. Now this last group we're going to loan the money.
Unknown
Does he have the ability to do that?
Stephen K. Bannon
I don't think so.
Unknown
You guys are going to bring that up, I think.
Stephen K. Bannon
Yeah, we're going to bring it to the floor. But he forgave 5 billion of it. And some of the senators around, oh, we'll make that back in the minerals.
Unknown
They actually said that?
Stephen K. Bannon
Yeah. Are you kidding me? I mean, we got a million people killed over there, Steve, and the war should have never started. I was over there. I told you this right before, before it started with Zelensky and the guys. I mean, it would be like me being president. I have no business Being President of the United States and he has no business doing that because he's being controlled over there. And so a comedian, a comedian, I.
Unknown
Think people feel a lot more comfortable with you as the President of the United States versus some other alternatives that are out there on the Democratic side than Zelensky was just a comedian.
Stephen K. Bannon
Told public, oh, yeah, but we're in trouble still. I mean, I've been elated. President Trump won, but you can see real quickly how the, the Republican Party has come back at him on his nominees. It should be a no brainer.
Unknown
Okay, so he took a bullet to the head and four months later won a landslide. The man gets to choose the people in his government.
Stephen K. Bannon
Exactly. It would be like being a head coach. I'm not going to take a head coaching job and not have my people around me that's going to know as much or more about the position that they're in to make us better. You got to bring people in you can trust. The loyalty part got him the first time. You know, people just backstabbed him and did all those things. But you know that as well as anybody. But we're, you know, we got a Republican Party now that's about a third maga, third Republican and a third Rhino. And we're all divided.
Unknown
And up in the Senate, up in.
Stephen K. Bannon
The Senate, I mean, it's, and we got to get 51 votes. And you know, everybody's bragging, hey, we got 53 votes more. What a great job we did. We blew it. We should have been at 60. We should have won Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin and Michigan. And we were up there celebrating. This is the last time we'll have a chance to do this with President Trump on the ballot to get these people elected. To me, we didn't fund the right people. We wasted money in Maryland. I like Larry Hogan. He couldn't win, not ever going to win up there. And so we're bragging that we got 53 and we left low hanging fruit out there, three or four on the table we'd have fought for. We didn't. And we closed our eyes to the, to the, to the ballots after President Trump and they came in and dumped right at the end big time. And they're still doing it.
Unknown
Now we're going to lose a couple of House seats maybe.
Stephen K. Bannon
Yeah, we're going to hand people back up, but it's good we've got control. But do we have control?
Unknown
What's the attitude in the Senate? Are they down for a fight or are they going to roll on Trump.
Stephen K. Bannon
Oh, right now, they say they're down for a fight, but the first fight is getting his foot, getting his team together. And again, and I'm friends with Matt Gaetz, I've known him forever, and, you know, he's smart as a whip. He'll have President Trump's back. He'll go after the DOJ like nobody's ever gone after. But that's what's going to get him. They don't want the truth out on both sides. And so Matt is a guy that, again, he's a fighter, and he's like President Trump. Now, I've told him this. I said, I'm not going to vote on rumor because I know what they did to Clarence Thomas and Brett Kavanaugh. They're going to try to ruin everybody in that group. They're going to have something on them that they're going to push out there. And some of these Republicans go, oh, my God, we can't vote for that guy. Wait a minute. How about proof? How about innocent till proven guilty?
Unknown
That Merrick Garland, as much as the FBI and the DOJ hate him, they dropped anything going forward because there was not any evidence. Are people talking about that in the Senate? That he's never really been. They were after him for this and then walked away from it. As much as they hate Matt Gaetz.
Stephen K. Bannon
Yeah. Well, he was weaponized coming in because you knew dang well he was mad about not being confirmed as a Supreme Court justice. So everything was, hey, I'm getting back at these folks. And he has. And he's going after President Trump. And it's a shame, but we. We gotta fight. We have to fight for everything out there. Steve, it's. I heard you talk about the military. I have a couple of buddies come home. They've been heaven knows where. They're war fighters. Okay. They've been. They've been on their hands and knees and sleeping in the dirt and all that. And they come back, and the first week that they're back, they have to go to DEI training for a week. Yeah. Instead of coming back and relaxing, and they have to go into this training, we have lost. Our military leadership has absolutely run us over the cliff. And it's all by design. But I don't know whether they even know better, to be honest with you.
Unknown
Well, so many. Do you agree that we should recall Milley? And also look at the Afghan, the senior leadership about the Afghan withdrawal situation. The 13 families don't have justice yet. Do you think that we have to start holding the uniformed Military services to account here for what they've done.
Stephen K. Bannon
We get control, armed services, I'm on that. And we should bring back people that were involved. I know very, very close. Frank McKenzie, who is a combatant commander of CENTCOM. He was in charge of all of it. And he even. We've already had him up there. And he said, listen, I told him, don't do it. We don't need to do it this way.
Unknown
CENTCOM commander supposed to be in charge of everything. He's the combatant commander.
Stephen K. Bannon
Right. We don't need to do it this way.
Unknown
You know, he was overridden.
Stephen K. Bannon
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. But we have, we had a hearing on that. And it's just.
Unknown
But do you think you need to go deeper than a hearing, you think.
Stephen K. Bannon
Investigation where we might.
Unknown
Because the way that when I was there, the Joint Chiefs of Staff were also the opera. They changed that with the nun bill later. The combatant commander is supposed to be the guy directly to the. Supposed to be the combatant commander. Kind of calls the shots. Right. When the combatant commander is overruled, you have to figure out what happened here, Correct.
Stephen K. Bannon
Well, it's commander in chief, the only one that can overrule him. It's not the secretary of Defense. Right.
Unknown
And it's not the army chief.
Stephen K. Bannon
No. Because he's over. He's not the George Air Force. He's over everybody. He is the commander by command. Yeah. And you know, he's.
Unknown
Do you think Afghanistan raises to that level of the withdrawal and the 13 dead? Do you think it raised that level that there should be an investigation?
Stephen K. Bannon
Oh, should be. Because the problem is it was the organization of all of it and how we did it. Even President Trump said we need to leave. But we don't need to leave all at one time. We don't. We need to leave some people there. We gave up the number one Air Force base in the world, Bagram, that we had put billions of dollars in. Now, our closest track to China, what is Doha, you know, somewhere over there. And it's. You got to refuel a couple of times.
Unknown
Now I'm going to have Nigel Farage on the Six O'Clock Show. The Brits are about to give away Diego Garcia as a guy that was in the Pacific Fleet that went to the Persian Gulf in North Arabia Sea. If you don't have Diego Garcia, if we don't have access to it, they're about to give it to the Chinese Communist Party.
Stephen K. Bannon
Well, I'll give you another point. I'm big friends with the New president of Panama. I've been down there, went to his inauguration, got to know him. He's trying his best to stop him. At the daring gap from people coming up, he said they're coming from every country, Africa. They're coming to every continent. And he said it's unbelievable. But this guy needs help at the Panama Canal.
Unknown
Yes.
Stephen K. Bannon
We get in a war with with China. Okay. And we have to ship stuff. Got to do it. And it's got through the Panama Canal and they take it over before it happens. China. And we can't go through there. We got to go 9,000 miles around the point. Come on.
Unknown
Would you be open for the United States to assist him in building a wall across the Darien Gap so they couldn't. So we can actually stop what's coming up from Latin America 100%.
Stephen K. Bannon
I've been trying. I'm waiting. The President Trump slows down because you know how he is. He's going to work 20 hours a day and he's got to get everything done first. But I want to get the president new president of Panama, who is just like Melaye whatever his name is from Argentina. I want him come up and sit down. 30 minutes with President Trump and we have to do something about security of that place because the Panama Canal is so important to all trade.
Unknown
We got to go to break. Would you be supportive in, let's say, the first 30 or 60 days of President Trump's second term, to go to McAllen, Texas, and have President Trump call a summit of those frontline nations in Central America, get everybody down there, start working through the deportation program. What they need to help make their own countries great again, including a wall in Panama, but other things, too.
Stephen K. Bannon
Would you support that and bring that new president from Mexico?
Unknown
Exactly.
Stephen K. Bannon
About as far left as they come.
Unknown
But bring them all together and do a summit in McAllen, the capital of.
Stephen K. Bannon
The Rio Grande Valley, all of those Central American states. We got to do it. I mean, there's no plan. Joe Biden had zero plan about anything. They just thrown mud on the wall and see what would stick and just try to ruin our country as he's gone.
Unknown
Short commercial break we got Coach, Senator Tuberville, a patriot and hero, in the studio next.

Bannon your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
Do we know how to do we know. So in the imperial capital here, do we know how to win or have we forgotten how to win?
Stephen K. Bannon
Well, first of all, you got to know what you're fighting for. And we've got, we got so many entities that I think they're fighting for different things. One is survival of their own job. One is maybe a chairmanship. One is to have ride around in one of these black SUVs with somebody driving them. I mean, the whole goal is to save the United States of America. Steve, this is going to be our last chance with President Trump.
Unknown
There's no doubt in your mind?
Stephen K. Bannon
No doubt. No doubt. Because they have ingrained the media and the deep state so deep that it takes a guy like President Trump and he's even going to take a lot of backlash from people that go, I don't know whether we need to be that tough, folks. It is time to fight. This is a, this is a war, like none, whatever. And I've been up here for, I'm a football coach. And let me tell you something, I've seen every day up here that we have to fight and we have to, we have to beat them back so far that it's going to take them forever to get back on their feet.
Unknown
The massive Victory we had four years in the making on the 5th of November, because a lot of people are saying they're drinking the champagne and they should, they've worked the grassroots. Explain to people how that just sets us up for the even bigger battle that we got in front of us.
Stephen K. Bannon
Well, first of all, the Democrats know what they're playing for. You know, they want to change the country into something else. Okay? So that's their game plan. Schumer in the Senate, he's got them all under his wing. They're going to listen to everything he says. They're not going to back off one inch because they won't get one dime of campaign money if they do or chairmanship. We're just the opposite. I mean we're going to make everybody feel good and you know, you know, if you've been up here for a long time, you get to do whatever you want to do wrong. We got to have fighters, we got to have people that's going to fight in every committee that's not going, not going to take no from any of these Democrats. We're in charge. And if we back up, it's like this, Matt Gaetz and Pete Hexith, all these, all these people that are being nominations, hey, it should be a no brainer. Prove to me he's a criminal. If you do, I won't vote for him. But until then, he's.
Unknown
In the old analogy, I use a football knife, flood the zone. We did that. President Trump has done that to put the media and the Democrats back on their back foot with all these great announcements of disruptors. So people are going to take the system and restructure it the second time. My theory, the case is say hey, in early January when the House and Senate are backing, you're sworn in for the new Congress. You've got to roll up as a group with these confirmation hearings before the 20th of January. You've got to be ready to go. And then on the 20th you hit them with a third wave of flood the zone with executive orders and everything the president is going to do. Would you be supportive of that? To get the confirmations of at least these frontline big things starting right after you guys are sworn in.
Stephen K. Bannon
Oh yeah, that'll be done. We've already planned that.
Unknown
You have planned that?
Stephen K. Bannon
Yeah, yeah, that's being planned.
Unknown
So you want to move it quickly.
Stephen K. Bannon
We have to. Now we sworn in January 3rd, but I think it's a couple days after that. But we should have the SEC def. The attorney general, the secretary treasurer. I don't think Tom Homan, I don't. He didn't have to go through conference because he's a czar. He's one of those czars, but he.
Unknown
Ends up being undersecretary. But you're right. He may not. He may. But what about ag? You put AG in that, in that first number one. So you want to go. All you're saying right now, this is news. You guys are planning this on the 5th or 6th sometime up front to get all the major ones of President Trump up there.
Stephen K. Bannon
Now, the Democrats did this last time.
Unknown
Yes, exactly.
Stephen K. Bannon
When I got here, I couldn't. I mean, they were rolling. They had the SEC Def going and, and the attorney general. And of course, we were. We had a lot of our Republicans that voted for a lot of these people. You know how many Democrats voted for?
Unknown
Well, 20. 19 voted for Merrick Garland. Republicans.
Stephen K. Bannon
Yeah.
Unknown
How can you hold that vote back from Matt Houston?
Stephen K. Bannon
Not one Democrat voted against any nominees. Not one. It was zero. I did a speech on floor yesterday, had a big zero there. They all were in. They're in on their game. They know what they want to do. And when you know that you know how to win. How do you know how to win if you don't know what you're fighting for? We're fighting for our country. And we better wake up and smell the roses, because if we don't, we're going to lose this country. It's going to be gone, and we're not going to have the second chance of a Donald Trump. It's not going to happen.
Unknown
Your point right now, if Gates is not charged with a crime and Merrick Garland, the FBI hate him. Had years to do this and dropped it then.
Stephen K. Bannon
Do you see? Did you, Steve, did you look at the qualifications of some of their people they put in that some of our people voted for? I mean, it's amazing. But that's fine. Hey, if that's who they want in there, elections have consequences. Barack Obama, you know, 2008, give them what they want. You don't have to vote for them, but they got enough people to get them in. Same thing with us. We know we better know the consequences of what's getting ready to happen. If we don't, we're going to lose. And we're not going to lose in four years. We're going to lose in two years. It'll be over because they'll win it all back. Other than President and President Trump will be a lame duck and we'll be just treading water.
Unknown
Hakeem Jeffries, get in. Impeach him right away, no doubt. Oh, 100% for the number one, your advice to President Trump in this current situation, Knowing what's going on in the judges, knowing what's going on, the confirmation. What is your recommendation to President Trump right now?
Stephen K. Bannon
Go by your instincts. Just what you did of running. Go by your instincts. Take no prisoners. I mean, this is not a elementary school game here. This is a war against good versus evil, about the deep state and it is here and it is real deep. And he has got to come in and throw a stink bomb in every one of these agencies. And we've got to get these people out of here, number one, that don't go to work, that have two or three other jobs making money off the federal government. We got to put people in positions that can make good decisions for our country and get this debt down because the debt is one of the biggest things going. 36 trillion. Come on.
Unknown
And we hit the debt ceiling out of the box. Two last things. Number one, you came here very open minded, coming on a career of coaching and teaching young men and developing young men to come here. You are convinced that there is a deep state that's not a conspiracy theory.
Stephen K. Bannon
Yeah. It's a deep state of a lot of people and it's not party affiliated. It's people that want to come up here and stay forever. Then vote the right way to try to keep that deep state there. Now again, there's a lot of good people here, but I think you can come up here and you can surely get swayed in what you're doing. Exactly.
Unknown
This audience, what do you recommend? These are your biggest supporters, President Trump, we're the cadre, the tip of the spear. What do you recommend this audience do?
Stephen K. Bannon
Yeah. The best way we can help President Trump is to call your senator. I don't know, I don't care if it's me. You call, you email, I want this guy confirmed. Unless there's something out there that we don't know, make sure you vote for him. I represent Alabama and President Trump, 70% MAGA in Alabama. I vote against one of these people. They ought to run my butt out of here because that is what you're supposed to do. You're not supposed to vote for yourself. I'm not a rocket scientist. I don't know what all is going out there, but I do want to go by the heart and feel of the people of Alabama and everybody should do that. It just amazes me, some of these people up here. Well, I don't know about this. I don't know about that. Wait a minute. What does the people in your state say? Oh, by the way, they just 65% voted for Donald Trump. Okay. And he, they want him to run this show, not you. You just get up there and follow his lead and do, to help, do what you can do to help him in our country. And, but again, you got a lot of people up there up here that think they're rocket scientists and they know better And I guess that's ingrained in them. But not me. I want. I want our country to be what you and I had a chance to grow up in back in the 70s and 80s and 90s and not go back to this trash of social justice, identity politics, just all this nonsense social media.
Unknown
Where do people get you and follow you?
Stephen K. Bannon
Tuberville for Senate.
Unknown
Turboville for Senate. You're a patriot and a hero, Johnson.
Stephen K. Bannon
Thank you, Steve. Hey, fight. Let's fight.
Unknown
As President Trump says, short break. Back in a moment.
I want to warn you of a huge change that could be coming to our money in our bank accounts. First, think back to 9, 11, shortly after the government pushed through the Patriot Act. This gave the government power to spy on innocent Americans by monitoring our phone and email and tracking our movement across the Internet. Now, Jim Rickards, editor of the independent financial newsletter Strategic Intelligence and New York Times bestselling author, is warning about a coming event that could elevate this governmental surveillance to a terrifying new level. In fact, some of the guests I've had on the War Room believe that the government will soon expand their powers to track our every move. If we say the wrong things on social media, donate to the wrong causes, buy firearms, or even vote maga, the government may be able to shut us out of our bank accounts. I can't say for sure if this will happen, but it's an interesting and dire warning. Fortunately, Jim Rickertz, an American patriot and friend of mine, has made it his mission to educate us on what he believes is coming and how to protect yourself from the possibility of programmable money. Watch Jim's warning video now before it's censored like I've been in the past. Go to rickards war room.com that's rickardswarroom.com now to see the video will include.

Podcast Summary: Bannon’s War Room – Episode 4069: Reinstituting Civilian Control Over The Pentagon; Senate Must Vote For MAGA
Release Date: November 20, 2024
Host: Stephen K. Bannon
Podcast: WarRoom.org
In Episode 4069 of Bannon’s War Room, host Stephen K. Bannon delves deep into the pressing issues surrounding civilian control of the Pentagon and the critical need for the Senate to affirm MAGA-aligned candidates. The episode features incisive discussions with political analysts, authors, and Senator Tommy Tuberville, focusing on dismantling the so-called "Deep State" and reversing the influence of "woke" policies within the Department of Defense (DoD).
Bannon opens the episode by outlining his mission to restore civilian oversight over the Pentagon. He emphasizes the importance of removing individuals he deems as part of the "Deep State" who obstruct the MAGA agenda.
Steve Bannon [00:00]: “The principal order of business was revenge because these folks, quote, committed crimes which he, of course, could not define.”
Bannon expresses his determination to hold accountable figures such as President Biden, Attorney General Merrick Garland, and Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, advocating for their removal and prosecution.
Andrew Rice from New York Magazine discusses Bannon’s continued influence and his alignment with President Trump. He highlights Bannon's role in shaping MAGA's strategic direction despite not holding an official position in the incoming administration.
Andrew Rice [02:35]: “Donald Trump has called for the investigation or prosecution of everyone from Jack Smith to the pollster in Iowa. The idea that Bannon is endorsing this makes him a voice in the choir rather than someone out there alone.”
Rice underscores the likelihood of Trump appointing loyalists like Cash Patel to key positions, signaling a shift towards MAGA-friendly leadership within federal institutions.
Katie Cherkaski and Andrew Cherkaski, co-authors of Woke Warriors, provide a critical analysis of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives infiltrating the DoD. They argue that DEI policies have diverted resources away from the military’s core mission, leading to inefficiencies and a decline in operational readiness.
Katie Cherkaski [17:17]: “It’s absolutely insidious throughout the Department of Defense. We’re losing really seasoned and honorable military members because of these trivial infractions that have been prioritized.”
The Cherkaskis advocate for a complete overhaul of DEI programs to refocus the military on its primary objectives of national defense and combat readiness.
Senator Tommy Tuberville joins the discussion to emphasize the importance of legislative support in reshaping the Pentagon. He highlights his efforts in blocking military promotions over issues like abortion access, illustrating the political battles necessary to combat institutional resistance.
Senator Tuberville [29:58]: “I stood up for that because a lot of times people can be essentially bullied into conceding things without understanding the significant impact.”
Tuberville’s actions exemplify the legislative push required to ensure that military leadership aligns with conservative values and the broader MAGA mission.
The episode consistently underscores the necessity of reinstituting civilian oversight within the Pentagon to prevent authoritarian control by unelected officials. Bannon warns against allowing individuals with personal vendettas to manipulate federal institutions.
Steve Bannon [03:18]: “If we have people who are not elected but have outsize influence in an incoming administration who can simply say, I don't like this person, and pull the levers of power and have people thrown into jail, that is a dangerous authoritarian state.”
Bannon and his guests characterize the existing federal bureaucracy as a "Deep State" resistant to MAGA objectives. They call for the removal and prosecution of key figures to dismantle this entrenched power structure.
Steve Bannon [08:02]: “Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose? If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.”
A significant portion of the discussion revolves around reversing "woke" policies within the DoD. The Cherkaskis and Tuberville argue that DEI initiatives have undermined military effectiveness and advocate for their elimination to restore the military’s focus on defense and combat operations.
Katie Cherkaski [18:31]: “It’s catastrophic and it needs a total reshaping. The Pentagon and the DOD at large have become a social welfare program.”
Bannon outlines a multi-phased strategy to overwhelm Democratic opposition and secure confirmations of MAGA-aligned officials. This includes simultaneous confirmation hearings and swift executive actions to cement control over key institutions.
Steve Bannon [05:14]: “The theory of the case is to seize the institutions. They claim they're the institutionalists. We're going to flood the zone.”
In the closing segments, Bannon urges listeners to actively support MAGA initiatives by contacting senators, voting for aligned candidates, and remaining vigilant against institutional resistance. He emphasizes the urgency of these actions to prevent the erosion of conservative values and the re-establishment of a government that prioritizes American citizens.
Steve Bannon [51:22]: “The best way we can help President Trump is to call your senator. Make sure you vote for him.”
Bannon reiterates the pivotal role of civilian oversight and the need for strategic political maneuvers to ensure the success of the MAGA movement in reshaping federal institutions.
Episode 4069 of Bannon’s War Room presents a fervent discourse on reclaiming civilian oversight of the Pentagon and the imperative for Senate support of MAGA-aligned officials. Through strategic conversations with political figures and authors, Bannon articulates a comprehensive plan to dismantle perceived "Deep State" influences and eradicate "woke" policies undermining military effectiveness. The episode serves as both a rallying cry for conservatives and a blueprint for actionable steps to ensure the resurgence of American-centric governance and defense mechanisms.
