Episode 4156: MAGA Refuses To Kneel To Technocrats ...

Stephen K. Bannon
Battle that's underway in Trump world that we laid out for you here last night is only escalating even further today in his clash with the far right over immigration. Elon Musk is now going after the hardliners, the very heart of the MAGA base, labeling them just a few hours ago as, quote, contemptible fools who must be removed from the Republican Party root and stem. Musk now finds himself pitted against the likes of Steve Bannon, however, Trump's former White House aide who came out against Musk's push for H1B visas, which allow highly skilled foreign workers into the US and has long been the lifeblood of Silicon Valley.
Steve Bannon
H1B visas, that's not what it's about. It's about taking American jobs and bringing over essential become indentured servants at lower wages. This thing's a scam by the oligarchs in Silicon Valley to basically take, take jobs from American citizens, give them to what become indentured servants from foreign countries, and then pay them less simple to let them into through the golden door.
Stephen K. Bannon
Now, Bannon's comments align him with people like the far right activist Laura Loomer, who has been bashing Musk for days now on this and is even accusing him of censoring her on his own platform. She is the anti immigrant Trump ally who is now claiming that her blue check mark was removed, her subscriptions were deactivated, her character limits for tweets and posts on X were limited. For what she says is, quote, raising concerns and speaking the truth about the technocratic takeover of our country in the White House, the workforce.
Steve Bannon
Now, I'm also against, I'm also for big restrictions on legal immigration until, until Silicon Valley, until these places have, I don't know, 20% African American and 20% Hispanic and kids that can go to college. And every college you go to, every engineering school you go to is flooded with foreign students taking American jobs. I don't agree with that. American jobs should be for American citizens. President Trump and I actually disagree with it. President Trump said a couple of months ago, he said, hey, you know, on every college, every college graduate, right? And every graduate of a community college should have a, should have a green card stapled to their diploma. Remember he said this, this was after he came back from having dinner with David Sacks and these billionaires out the tech billionaires in San Francisco. He said, every graduate, foreign student, graduate, and every graduate, foreign student graduate from community college should have a green card attached to diploma. I said, President Trump on the show, I said, we have tremendous respect for you. We love you. We're, you're based. But I've got another recommendation. I'd like to put an exit visa on every college graduate, foreign student that graduated from college here in 30 days to leave and go back home and help make their nation great again. And we shouldn't take any foreign students in community colleges. That should be for American citizens, particularly for African Americans and Hispanics. You're never going to get, they're never going to get up the economic chain unless we do this.
Darren Beatty
I think it's also important to understand the guy that controls the central social media platform for the MAGA movement, right? And if, if, if Elon decides, as he's showing with these small ball, these small fries, like, like Loomer and, and sort of itch and Owen Schroyer, all those folks, taking away their verification, taking away their, their monetization, if he, if he's willing to put his thumb on the scale, he's, he's all in favor of free speech for himself and he bought it. If he controls that platform, he can cause Trump a lot more pressure than Laura Loomer and these other ranters can cause. But I do think it's important to remember that the populist movement that's been telling Republican voters for a generation, probably arguably two generations, that immigration is the cause of almost all the evils in their life is. I think, you know, Molly and Eugene are both right. He's going to be hearing this from those grassroots folks, and it will cause attention with Elon that I don't think is reconcilable. And I'm much closer to Elon Musk on the policy issue here than I am, you know, even remotely with Laura Loomer about any of this stuff. But one of the ironies of all this is that all of these people across the spectrum, they rode this populist tide in claiming that establishment Republicans and conservative establishment and the old Reaganite crowd, the old National Review crowd, they don't know anything. And all the answers are super easy, and we know exactly what to do. And then it turns out they come in and it turns out this stuff is really complicated. H1B program is complicated for how you reform it, how do you expand it? What do you do about chain migration? And the serious people were all pushed aside in favor of all of these populous yahoos from Steve Bannon on down, and now they're the dog that caught the car. And they don't know how to do any of this policy because they haven't done any of the legwork on it.
Steve Bannon
Yeah.
Jack Posobiec
And look, obviously a lot of people also pointing out saying, basically, dude, you just kind of joined the MAGA universe pretty recently.
Darren Beatty
But look, I think what is he being entitled?
Jack Posobiec
But you know, if I'm Musk, I'm less worried maybe about Laura Loomer than I am about who you showed earlier, Steve Bannon, because, you know, so much of the culture, so much of the MAGA universe flows downward from what Bannon says on that program every day. And he has, when I say an online army around him. He really does many MAGA influencers with many, many millions of followers. And you know, we've kind of heard this terms internal MAGA civil war go around a lot the past 24 hours, but that really seems to be what's playing out. And I will just say conservatives, Republicans have been very excited to have Musk running X for the last two years. This is the first time we're really seeing Musk going after people within his own camp as it.
Raheem Kassam
This is the.
Steve Bannon
Primal scream of a dying regime.
Raheem Kassam
Pray for our enemies because we're going.
Steve Bannon
Medieval on these people. Reasons I got a free shot on all these networks lying about the people. The people have had a belly full of it.
Raheem Kassam
I know you don't like hearing that.
Steve Bannon
I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but.
Raheem Kassam
You'Re not going to stop it.
Steve Bannon
It's going to happen.
Dave Brat
And where do people like that go.
Steve Bannon
To share the big lie? MAGA MEDIA I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience. Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose? If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
Elon Musk
War Room here's your host, Stephen K. Bannock.
Steve Bannon
It's Saturday 28th December in the year of our Lord 2024. And I want to thank Robin Parker, Sig for making normally during the holidays we want to allow our Denver team of Real America's Voice that helps us do all the production in the show along with our War Room production team to take a few days off. Normally we would pre record the Saturday show on this last weekend so people would have a longer day off. I want to thank the Denver team for coming in today because of the press of news and events. I want to read something and we got post I think by phone. Dave Bratz with us. Raheem's going to join in a minute. Darren Beatty, Let me just state this, the HB1 visas. I've been working on this for 10 years. It's very hard because this is central, it's not just central to the economics of what they do in Silicon Valley. The hate America crowd and they hate America, the hate America crowd there. And when I say hate America, they hate the United States of America, the nation state of America. And American citizens, they believe in some sort of techno feudal situation like was in Italy back, I don't know, in the 14th and 15th century, these kind of city states, what they want is a network. They want a network where they're like a city state, control the network and there's a bunch of serfs that work for them. Not American citizens, but serfs, indentured servants. That's what they want and that's. They're not going to get that. We're going to win this fight. If you think that this audience in the, in the MAGA movement, the hoplites, the grundoons, the fixed bayonet crowd that fought the steal of 2020 and then had President Trump's back in the darkest days of 21 and were with him the entire time, particularly because he was right on the basic issues that were causing the destruction of our beloved republic, are going to now, after a massive come from behind victory, overwhelming victory, just sit there and roll over why the country's torn apart by oligarchs, it's not going to happen. And I always give full respect to Elon. Elon was absolutely central. Elon understood that this was about getting out low propensity, low information voters and that the army of people from the turning points and from war room and other groups, you guys that were, you know, did the election integrity and then did all the door to door canvassing, get the vote that, you know, you were essential. He did write the check and that gets him a seat at the table. I said that from the beginning, although I fundamentally disagree with him on major issues like the Chinese Communist Party, like transhumanism and like the situation around immigration. But they're going to make this bold. Let me just restate something as a fact. The H1B visa program is a total and complete scam from its top to the bottom. And Elon's put out this tweet that, you know, all his companies have depended upon that. Now we'll go dig out the information from public documents and just put. I'd like you to publish, we would like you to publish every engineer that you've brought in on HB1 visa and let, and let us determine, let's just see the information and see if American Citizens could not fill those billets. You're going to find we still haven't seen, you know, with all this going on. Have they come forward with any examples? One example, from David Sacks to Vivek Ramaswamy Teelon, must any of them. Have they come up with examples of these Einsteins that could not. The job could not be done by American citizen. American citizens come first. The problem, this country in the last 40, 50 years is not just America hasn't come first. Is America last. It's American citizens last. And guess what? You provide. You provide the social structure. You provide the underpinnings. You are Burke's little platoons, as I say, over and over again in the Lions Club and the Kiwanis Club and the churches and the little leagues and the cops and the teachers and all of it, the PTAs, all of it. That's stability that is underneath American society. And that society is what we generate, what we call the right stuff because it comes from grit, it comes from determination, it comes from some. You know, you can't even put your finger on it, but, you know, if somebody's got it, somebody call that jock culture. What Vivek's arguing for is to go to valedictorian. No, bro, we've seen the world. We've seen the world. What happens when we go to valedictorian culture? We're not doing that. We're not doing that. We're not having ruled by nerds. This is not the end of the day about having all the greatest engineers. It's very important. Don't get me wrong. We're at the cutting edge of innovation. We still have more innovation in this country. Why do you think the Chinese Communist Party is over here stealing? The only reason they're even close to being competitive is our capital has financed it and they've stolen our technology. They didn't develop that. They stole 95% of it, either from phony joint ventures or just from people working there. Why are these great companies not coming to India? Why are these great companies not coming? Because of the social stability and the innovation that comes as a blessing of liberty back through every patriot's grave to the revolution that is the DNA of this country, this nation. A nation with borders, a nation with customs and tradition. A nation with flaws. We're not perfect. The motto that President Trump put out is Make America Great Again. We hearken back to our greatest days. We hearken back to that spirit of innovation and just cussedness and toughness and grit that got us through so much, number one, that basically through the whole continent was able to build a nation and a civilization out of a vast wilderness. That's what this fight's about. And Elon's here with this latest thing last night, this latest quote where he says the reason I'm in America, I'm quoting from this. I tell you what, we're going to wait. I'm going to end this segment from Tom Wolf's book and Kaufman's movie the Right Stuff. And I strongly recommend you watch that film between now and January 1st. An understated classic of the grit and determination and innovation of America at her finest. Now we're not going to lose this fight, folks. We've faced longer odds before. We are not going to lose this fight. This program's a scam. It's an economic and financial scam, but it's got a dark underpinning of a hatred and I'm saying a hatred of American citizens and our beloved republic. You're going to have to climb over our dead bodies to defeat us. We will never, ever, ever give up. Ever. We'll return in a moment to the war room.
Raheem Kassam
It's obvious the unthinkable continues. Most Americans know something is very, very wrong. The people in charge keep telling you that everything's fine and to stop noticing, but you know better. This whole canard about racism and Raheema joining society. Racism is about the Indian people. I have the utmost respect for the civilization of India, for the Vedanta and the Gita and the philosophy, much of the philosophy. Although I'm a Catholic and a Christian, I can appreciate the depth of their understanding of the human condition. There's no leader in the world that's as tough a nationalist as Modi has done an amazing job in that country. And my admiration for them goes deep, deeply deep. And what they've accomplished here in the United States is profound. It's not about that. We talk about racism. Let's be blunt. It's racism against blacks, Hispanic and the white working class. They think they people, these tech oligarchs, and what they want is they want a tech feudalism. You have to go back to the middle age, to the Renaissance. This is what they want. They want a network. They don't want a nation. They want a network of which their company or their system or their algorithm is at the railhead. We've had rule by nerds, as Poso pointed out yesterday, it did not work and we're never going back to that. I want to read from Elon Musk last night, of which I've been the strongest advocate, that Elon was a central part of Trump's victory, Right? And particularly being smart enough using his engineer's brain to understand it was about to get out the vote. Canvassing and low propensity, low information voters, Elon said last night. And Rahim will jump in here in a moment with Poso and go through some other, even nastier tweets he put up last night about MAGA being racist, which is the last refuge of a scoundrel in modern politics. To quote Andrew Breitbart via Johnson. Right this last night. We can put it up on the screen. I'd appreciate it. This is Elon Musk. The reason I'm in America, along with so many critical people who built SpaceX, Tesla and hundreds of other companies that made America strong, is because of H1B. Take a big step back and eff yourself. All caps in the face. F yourself in the face. I will go to war on this issue the likes of which you cannot possibly comprehend. Oh, yeah, tough guy? You're going to go to war on the likes of which you cannot possibly comprehend. You're a man child, to be blunt. I hate to make it personal, but what you have done is try to trash individuals. Punching down. Remember the first rule of gladiator school, bro. Don't punch down. Either punch or peer or punch up. I responded last night. Someone please notify. Notify child protective services. Need to do a wellness check on this toddler. I hate to be snarky, but I think the moment called for it. People come, oh, you got to take the temperature. No, we're not going to Take the temperature down. We're not going to take the temperature down. Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh, no. We do not. It's no backing down. It's doubling down. It's no retreat. It's fixed bayonets and it's advance. And it's not surrender. It's victory. We're going to win this. Let me repeat. The H1B visa program is a total and complete scam concocted by the lords of easy money on Wall street, in the oligarchs in Silicon Valley, to both initially to just increase profit margins. But there's a darker element to it today, a contempt of America and American citizens, and we're not going to tolerate it. You need to honor this country and you need to honor the citizens in this country. The citizens in this country are what provided the platform for you nerds even to exist. Because in the predatory nature, the Darwinian environment of the world as it is, you would have already been crushed and destroyed. I want to bring in Jack Posobec. Jack, I know you're by phone. I thank you for taking time away from the family on a weekend you were trying to take off. Give me your thoughts on where we stand in this fight right now. And I want folks, anybody coming to me and saying, you got to put down. You got to put down. You got to put down the thing and you got to reach some sort of accommodation. Rapprochement. It's not going to happen. If history shows us anything, it's advance. We are going to win this. We are going to win this. They are going to surrender. They are not going to continue to destroy American citizens and American engineering by this scam. And this is a total. Let me repeat, if you didn't get it, it's a total and complete scam. Not on the margin. Total, complete. And I recommend right now that Elon back it up right there with all the geniuses, all the Einsteins that came in. Let's see the record, let's see the resumes, and let's just. Let's the American people see and they decide whether American citizens with degrees and experience couldn't have filled those billets. Jack Posobec.
Elon Musk
Hey, Steve, how are you? And, you know, good Saturday morning to the war room posse. And I'll put it this way. I brought my sons to see the RNC this past summer over there in Milwaukee, and they saw President Trump, and I think their favorite was probably Hulk Hogan. I gotta admit, it was probably my favorite, too. But when J.D. vance got up there on the stage. J.D. vance gave a full throated endorsement of the idea that the next American government would not be about looking abroad to help foreign people to go and get involved in foreign wars, to go abroad in search of monsters. And oh, by the way, J.D. vance said unequivocally that we will no longer be importing cheap foreign labor into this country. That ours will be a movement focused on the American people first. And J.D. vance, more than I think anybody else in the entire movement can point to the fact that he himself is an example that you could come out of the most austere conditions, the most austere conditions that this country has to offer. And yet you could still go on to have that innate talent. As you said yesterday, the superpower of the United States is the American citizen. Look, when we went to the moon, they got a couple of corn fed guys from Ohio and they launched them up there with less technology than you have in like a TI83 calculator. And they pointed a joystick up at it and said, hey, yeah, it's the big circle one, aim for that. And they strapped a rocket on and they went for it to beat the Russians, to beat the commies. Like that is the United States of America that we're supposed to be about, period, full stop. And all of the, look, you've got people now. I've got my guys. They're out there in full force. They're digging through the H1B databases and they're not going to stop just because some company donated to Republicans or donated to Trump. They're digging up everything. And by the way, they're going into the rnc, they're going into Heritage, they're going into anyone who's applying for these H1B visas and saying, are you really sure that you couldn't find an American to be an accountant, to be a janitor? These are not the types of jobs with this quote, unquote 0.1 high skill. These are the types of jobs that you are importing foreign labor force so you can undercut the American worker. And that's what it's always been about.
Steve Bannon
But you're also the engineers. I'm not buying the engineering thesis. I want to see it. Elon makes the case. I didn't bring this up. Elon did that all his companies are replete with these, including himself. Let's see it. Let's see it. Let's just see it. Let's just see it. Get the information to us. Let's see if these engineers are so special. No, you get Indentured servitude of these basic coders because that's what you're paying them. The numbers are out there. Coders. And you work like slave labor. I got it. It's not acceptable here in the United States of America, but I got what you're. I got the business model. I worked on Goldman Sachs. I can understand the math here. It's pretty straightforward. But there's a darker, much deeper and darker kind of fraternity mentality. The contempt that Vivek Ramaswamy put in that thing about American culture. And I'm not saying American culture, hey, it ain't where we want to be. It's gone through the wokeness. You got the corporations all dumped it after November 5th because you broke it. This audience broke it. We know we're a long way from the greatness of America, but it doesn't mean that the basic DNA of this country and the jock culture of this country is a. That's what won at Normandy. That's what won in the skies over Germany. That's what created, that's what helped create the, the weapons and the, in the production that won the war. So we know that, Jack. Well, tell me, tell me where this fight's going. Because now they're trying to, they're trying to dump people off the platforms. Like that's going to matter. That's going to matter. You can't stop us. We're relentless. We're just. We're not going. We're never quit. We're never going to quit. We're a thousand times tougher than you guys are. If you don't understand that, keep it up. Keep coming after American citizens like you're coming and you're going to find out exactly how tough we are. We're not going to tolerate this. You're trashing of the MAGA movement. You're calling the MAGA movement racist. How dare you. The coalition now is starting to build. We have African Americans and Hispanic families, African American men finally starting to red pill and awaken. And at that moment you're going to throw the racism card out? Are you kidding me? You think we're going to tolerate that? We're not going to tolerate it. And I don't care in that regard. I don't care how big a check you wrote Posobic.
Elon Musk
Now look, look, this is what the entire movement has been about. It's the same arguments, by the way, for the Haitians in Springfield or the Venezuelans that were coming over on tps or all this all legal immigration, legal, legal Legal, but it's all done through these programs that ended up screwing over people and helping out who? The people who are in charge of the companies and this movement, by the way we've been. Look, look, if you want to understand something, get, get a new religion and find out the fact that Joe Biden has left our border open to full on invasion status for the last four years. I don't think he's denied any H1B application in the last four years. And so if you're going to come in and say, and say, oh, in this situation, when we are surrounded, when our roads are clogged, when our cities are clogged, when you've got illegals pouring out of the subway, setting people on fire, and your answer is to tell this movement that we need more immigrants, that we need more of this situation. No, the answer is absolutely not. There is going to be a question about can we create a filter, I don't know, to call it the Kobayashi Maru, call it whatever you want to get the best. If you got a Nikola Tesla or an Albert Einstein present, produce them. Produce them to us. Show us the inventions. I'm more than happy.
Steve Bannon
Show me that argument out. Show me.
Elon Musk
Produce Tesla.
Steve Bannon
Jack, Jack, hang on for one second. Brought to you by Birch Gold on a Saturday morning on fire for, for the American citizen, the greatest resource this nation's ever had. Short break.
Elon Musk
Here's your host, Stephen K. Banner.
Steve Bannon
Poso the Chronicles. Christianity been great. I know you got to get back with the family. We got Darren Beatty, Dave Bratt, Raheem are all with us. Going to bring them in in a second. Just give me your summary this weekend. Where does this fight go? Because it's getting nastier and more volatile minute by minute. Sir.
Elon Musk
Well, Steve, I want to say thank you again for and to Grace and everyone in the engine room of the war room that's putting up the Chronicles of Christian of the Christians. This four part series that we've been releasing. We, we thought that things would be quiet over the Christmas break but it turns out that MAGA don't take any days off so we're putting that out. I highly encourage everyone to go over to Human Events Daily on Apple and Spotify, wherever you are. Go and subscribe, get the first two episodes and then 3 and 4 will drop on Monday and Tuesday respectively. Because look, if you want to understand why we're in the fight that we're in now, whether it's the H1B, whether it's the illegals, whether it's Haitians, whether It's corporate overlords, whatever. You have to remember where we came from and if you can remember where we came from and remember what we as a people, as a Christian people, the history of Western civilization is the history of Christianity, period, Full stop. If you can understand the foes that we have faced and the ardours and the challenges that we've overcome in the past, whether it be Nazi fascism, whether it be the Russian Communists, whether it be the caliphate, in years past, we have defeated them all and we will continue to do so. That is what it takes to go to war. So if people want to talk about go in the war, guess what? This is the war room. And the war room is always ready for war. So if you think that it's going to take, you know, a couple of weeks to get this movement to back down, or if you think that it's going to be, oh, you know, we're going to pull the donation, we're going to do this. Bring it on. Just bring it on is what I say.
Steve Bannon
Bring it on, Jack. Social media, where do people get you this weekend?
Elon Musk
Yeah, it's all, it's all on the podcast side. And then of course, I'm up on X, just, just throwing down and getting there. Look, you know, and I saw that Vivek Ramaswamy threw me through me a retweet yesterday, said, look, you know, by the way, when it comes to the United States, I'm talking color colorblind, too, because people are asking about that. I said, no, no, it's colorblind. The distinction we want to make is about merit, but merit for the American citizen. For the American citizen. President Trump is not a divisive guy, but the one distinction that he's always made, citizen versus non citizen, that's what it's about.
Steve Bannon
And we're not, we're not saying it's not about merit. That's just because he's built upon. Don't give me some sophomore thing to try to crawl your way back in here, dude, Vivek, not going to work. Thank you, Jack. Appreciate you put that on a Christmas Day, bro. Better learn something about the people in the United States of America. It's a. It's the. We are commemorating the birth of Christ. Better just to shut up on a day like that. Okay, here's. I'm really honored of the next three guests have been in this fight from the beginning. Dave Bratt was an economics professor at Randolph Macon when from the first time in the history of this republic, he took out a seating Majority leader in Eric Cantor on the topic and issue of immigration. It blew away the establishment when he did it in June of was it 2014? Absolutely stunned them, put on, put on hold a whole package the Republican establishment had worked on for, you guessed it, amnesty. Darren Beatty was the only professor of an Ivy League or Ivy League equivalent adjacent college to basically endorse Trump before the 2016 election. And Darren Beatty came into the Trump White House as our most brilliant speechwriter and thinker. And Raheem Kassam has been my wingman on this topic, I don't know since 2012, 2013, when Rahim Kassam led the effort as the strategist for Nigel Farage on Brexit. In the central beating heart of the Brexit issue was not that Brussels was making laws for the British people. It was about this topic, immigration. So I think we've got three guys that have a few battle scars on them and people in Silicon Valley understand this. We ain't coming to this fight last night, okay? We've been at this for over a decade. Raheem do a reset for folks just because some people may have actually taken Christmas off. And honestly I was taking Christmas off until a couple hours into it, I saw this thing starting to build and metastasize. Tell us where we are and what's happening here for our audience that may not be fully up to speed.
Dave Brat
Yeah, well, I want Steve, I want people to realize that I think all of us had this at least expectation of having some quiet time, some reflection time, some spiritual time over the course of the Christmas break. But the Tech bros had different ideas. The Tech bros have been colluding in the background for some time now trying to get their open borders, I'm going to call them open borders supporters into positions of power as a result of their last minute interventions in the Trump campaign and in the general election. And it has snowballed into this big public fight now. And I think the two points to make here are that number one, MAGA remains united. It is the Johnny come lately. The people who kind of want to stroke a check to get their policies pushed to get their government contracts to get their friends positions who are causing this rift in the broader coalition here. And I think that's worth reminding ourselves of. The second part of this is you have to look at this not just as people who want mass uncontrolled migration, as Musk appears to be throwing his shoulder to the wheel of by the way. And there's far more than what you just read out I mean, I was going through his X feed this morning of things he was just posting last night, and he's posted, he's retweeted this chap, Noah Smith, an economic blogger who has just screeds and screeds of anti Trump stuff, not just on his blog, all over his ex. And he says, I will follow Elon Musk into battle over this issue. And Elon Musk is retweeting it. So now we're seeing them conscripting in anti Trump activists to their H1B. And by the way, it's not just H1B. It's a massive immigration battle that's going on right now over the Christmas and New Year break. But these are the people, Steve, who want to follow the British political establishment, the Brussels political establishment, in turning America into kind of another Singapore on Thames kind of deal, right? For them, it's just an economy. For them, it's just a way to make money. For them, there is no culture. There is no such thing as an American citizen. There is no such thing as American history. This for them is a moment. And by the way, don't take my word for it, ladies and gentlemen, go to Elon Musk's X feed yourself, click on the reply section, go through all of it, and look at the things he is saying about what it means to be an American. And for him, it's literally just about an economic unit of measurement. Now, listen, this has to be taken as part of a wider piece here because this isn't just about one Indian guy who's immigrated, who they want to put in as an AI advisor into the White House. This is about hundreds of thousands of H1B visas, H2B visas. I mean, they were even finding E3 visas yesterday for Chippendales strippers, male strippers coming in to Las Vegas from Australia. Now, this has caused such a fight that people are going through the detail on these things. And one of the things we're going to be doing in the next couple of days is actually going through all the H1B data over the last couple of years and saying, okay, so you've had hundreds of thousands of people every year coming into the country and especially looking at this database and looking at where they're going. But question about all of this is, what's enough? Where does it stop? How many hundreds of thousands of engineers and technicians and coders and. All right, exactly.
Steve Bannon
That's the buried lead.
Dave Brat
That's the hidden message. For them, it never stops. And that means for them, there is no America, there is no culture, there is no integration, there is no assimilation. How many H1B visa holders, right, are part of those little platoons that you talked about in the first? How many are getting involved in their communities? How many are building? How many are part of the US Military? You know, how many people are actually doing the work to be, you know, civil society leaders? Zero. They're in it for a check, they're in it for a job, they're in it for their, for their visas and their green cards, and that's all it is to them.
Steve Bannon
Darren Beatty, you've been at this for a long time. You showed the courage to step out before Trump won at 16. And this was one of the key, if not the key, issue. You fought this in the White House. They've come after you. One of the best guys, nicest guys, most inclusive guys I've ever met. Darren Beatty, they've come after you hard. Tell me what you've, what's transpired over the last couple days and how important is this fight?
H
Well, it's very important, and I think the critical thing is to separate the signal from the noise because there is a kind of factional dispute that's gained a significance almost beyond the actual, you know, substance of the item in question. And I think for the substance of the debate, clarity is very important because on the one hand, we're hearing stuff about, oh, we want to attract the highest skilled, highest talent. And I think it's important to understand that talent and cheap labor are very different things. And we need to be clear as to do these tech Companies want the H1BS because they're really exceptionally talented, or do they want them simply because it's economically beneficial? And then if it's the latter, we need to understand why it's economically beneficial. It's economically beneficial because they effectively have indentured slaves. And what do the H1B recipients get out of it? Their benefit is the expectation of a green card and chain migration at the end. So it's really the taxpayers who are footing the difference there. That's the whole reason that sort of the privatized profit, socialized cost models that makes the H1B so efficient. And so it's really not a natural market, determined price equilibrium. So even on their own terms of economics, the H1B is a scam. And in, you know, I had a tweet that went semi viral basically saying, in fact, H1B precisely because it passes off the cost of the H1BS onto the tax payers should be on The Doge chopping block, not something that Doge is promoting. I think the bigger picture though is I'm even more obsessed with talent than some of these, you know, so called tech bros. I'm even more obsessed with it. I think we have it in the United States. I think we need a Manhattan Project scale operation to better identify, cultivate and channel native homegrown talent. And secondly, for the exceptional minds of the world that are at the say 100th of a percentile, 100th of 1% level, there's just not a lot of those. The United States absolutely should have a monopoly on all of those brains, but neither of those two.
Steve Bannon
But hang on, but hang on, hang on, hang on. I know and I'd love your Manhattan Project. I'm going to go this latter. Here's my theory. The case we believe in nationalism, we just don't believe in American nationalism. We think after the Treaty of Westphalia that the nation state is the way, is the unit, at least as mankind's evolved today, right of allowing the most potential fulfillment and freedom. We believe in other strong nations, a planet that had strong nations, vibrant nations, people that love their countries. And most people, if you see throughout the world and most movies, all want to go home and all want to want to make their nations work. Why do we want to. Why do we want to take all the talent, all the top zero, 0.1%. That to me is still imperialism. It's what the city of London did back in the 19th century.
H
Have a problem with that? I think we should have that very, very top. But that has nothing to do with H1B which is just an excuse for cheap and really mediocre labor. And they're passing off the cost to taxpayers. It's totally different story has nothing to do with talent.
Steve Bannon
Hang on, just. I know you got a bolt, but I got to hold you to the next one with Brett. The argument you just made is one of the most brilliant. This should be top of the Doge chopping block, not something they're pushing. Darren Beatty, Dave Brett, Raheem Kassam, Stephen K. Bannon and a cat cast of others going to come up in our second hour. We're on fire here in a Saturday in the war room. We're going to leave you with the right stuff. We'll be back in a moment.
Elon Musk
Here's your host, Stephen K. Band.
Steve Bannon
Okay, birchgold.com Bannon end of the Dollar Empire. The sixth free installment is now ready for you. It's the modern monetary theory, the idea that broke the world. There's $300 trillion, roughly roundup of debt throughout the world. And we're about to have the world's biggest margin call. Remember, one of the things I've been saying here is that if you look at the three lines of work that President Trump has to get right away declared the wars in Ukraine, in the Middle east, and with the Chinese Communist Party on the Eurasian landmass. President Trump has a step in the middle of that. They're trying to jam him up another $1.2 billion to Ukraine on the immigration, the border, deportations. Here we're having this massive fight over H1B visas, which, as Darren B is about to tell you, is just a way to flood the zone with chain migration. Okay? But the most important, the most deadly thing is Janet Yellen. I've told you that between the Federal Reserve and the treasury, they're messing around with the balance sheet. She dropped a neutron bomb on people yesterday, sending a letter that said, hey, guess what? Extraordinary measures on the debt has to start, I don't know, January 13th. They have been playing around with the balance sheet to jam President Trump into a corner. I'm gonna get to more of that in the second hour. Darren Beatty, I know you got a bolt, love. You took time out on Saturday. Just walk me back through before I get Brett, my economist on here, your economic argument, which is so brilliant, how this leads to chain migration and taxpayers pay for their own destruction. Sir?
H
Absolutely. Just to encapsulate the distinctions I think are relevant to this debate. I think recruiting genuinely rarefied levels of talent at the 100th of a percentile is something we should do. We can do it. We have done it. It has nothing to do with H1B. That level of talent has nothing to do with what we're bringing in with H1B. H1B is not about talent. It's not even about high skill. What it's about is cost cutting. And we need to look into how the tech companies cut their costs by bringing in H1BS. So they bring the in the H1BS. The H1BS work for far less than an American would. That's the other thing, is they just need to pay more to get the American, and that's what they should do. Now, people would say, oh, you're distorting the market in that way. I say, no, the market is distorted by the H1B process. Because in exchange from the H1B recipient side, they say, okay, we're going to go to the US Take a low wage, which is not probably low compared to their home countries, nonetheless live as an indentured servant. Part of what they get is the low wage from the tech company. But the real sweetener, as I said, is the expectation of getting a green card which will ultimately allow for chain migration. And then of course, all of the children that are born from that chain migration wave, those children are automatically citizens. And all of the costs attendant to that unto generations, unto infinity, unto posterity, all of those costs are not borne by the tech companies hiring the H1BS. They're borne by the United States taxpayers. That is the scam that the tech companies privatize their costs by paying marginal wages to H1BS and the taxpayers foot the bill in terms of paying for the green cards and the chain migration later. So it's in a distortion of the economy. It's not the true equilibrium. If the tech companies really paid the full inclusive price, they wouldn't want the H1BS to begin with. It has nothing to do with talent or high skill.
Steve Bannon
It's indentured servitude to drive down wages and opportunities for American, American citizens that have every bit of skill and work ethic. Darren, where do people get you over this battlefield weekend?
H
Sir, Revolver News. Hot as ever. At the cutting edge of all of these topics and more. Check out Revolver News.
Steve Bannon
You're killing it, dude. Look forward to talking to you over the weekend. Make sure you go to Revolver all weekend. This is going to be. This is going to. We're in. We're in combat all weekend on this. Dave. Brat, give me some perspective before we end the first hour and get ready for our second hour, sir, as only you can do. Yeah.
I
Raheem and Darren Beaton, it's just an honor to be with these gentlemen because they always get it right. I just want to double down on both of their arguments. When you talk about this issue and racism comes into play, you're only hearing about one side of the economic equation. Like Darren just said, you're hearing about the benefit side, but nothing on the cost side. Economists are supposed to weigh the full cost of doing all this. Right. And so you're also known by the company you keep up in the swamp. It's a little bit. Is it interesting that every speaker for the past 30 years has been pro amnesty, pro illegal immigration, pro immigration, now Biden on steroids. Right. But our leadership class is there because of the money, because of the budget, because of what I call the giant Excel spreadsheet in the sky. So one of the CNN commentators say, oh, These brutes, you know, these MAGA people, they don't understand the complexities of it all. No, we precisely understand the complexities of it all. It's in the budget. What they're all doing is protecting their budget line items. So I was in Congress, I worked on federal workforce boards, I worked in the Commonwealth of Virginia on state workforce boards with education. I worked with local, city and county workforce boards to build human capital. NIH spends more on education. Everything the swamp up there between agriculture, big pharma, whatever, there's, there's tons of money floating around and none of it's hitting the target. That's what we're frustrated about. And so when it comes to this economic argument, what it really boils down to. And I've met with, you know, CEOs, small businesses, medium large, you, you can make them a deal, right? And all political views are my own, but I worked also with universities and, you know, state agencies, et cetera. You can make the corporations a deal and say, hey, I got a program for you. I'm gonna give you 20 engineers, we'll scale them up exactly to fit your firm even. We'll do everything you want.
Steve Bannon
But.
I
But it's reciprocal, right? You gotta, you gotta sign the bottom line on that deal. And guess what the corporations say every time. No deal. They want a cherry pick from the Harvard's and The Princetons and MITs.
Steve Bannon
Exactly.
I
They don't want 20, they want to go picking and they want us to pay for it.
Steve Bannon
Hey, hang on for one second. Dave, you're gonna be with us for the second hour. Is Raheem Kassam. I think we're gonna try to get Julie Kelly on On Fire on a Saturday morning. Why? Because people are trying to run a scam and destroy American citizens and we are not going to tolerate it. Short break. We're gonna leave you with the music and some footage from the right side. Stuff about the mercury program. The earliest, the early seven, the right stuff. Tremendous composition. Short break. Back in a moment.

Summary of "Bannon's War Room" – Episode 4156: MAGA Refuses To Kneel To Technocrats
Release Date: December 28, 2024
Host: WarRoom.org (Stephen K. Bannon)
Title: MAGA Refuses To Kneel To Technocrats
Timestamp: 00:00 - 01:39
Stephen K. Bannon opens the episode by highlighting a deepening rift within the MAGA movement, particularly focusing on the clash between traditional MAGA hardliners and technocratic figures like Elon Musk. Musk has been publicly criticizing MAGA's stance on immigration, labeling hardliners as "contemptible fools" (00:00). This tension centers around the use of H1B visas, which Musk supports as a means to bring highly skilled foreign workers into the United States, a practice essential to Silicon Valley's economy.
Timestamp: 00:37 - 03:06
Steve Bannon vehemently opposes the H1B visa program, arguing that it undermines American jobs by allowing foreign workers to fill positions at lower wages.
Steve Bannon (00:37):
"H1B visas, that's not what it's about. It's about taking American jobs and bringing over essential become indentured servants at lower wages. This thing's a scam by the oligarchs in Silicon Valley to basically take, take jobs from American citizens, give them to what become indentured servants from foreign countries, and then pay them less simple to let them into through the golden door."
Bannon aligns himself with far-right activist Laura Loomer, who accuses Musk of censoring her on his platform. He emphasizes the need to prioritize American citizens in employment over foreign workers.
Timestamp: 05:05 - 15:00
Darren Beatty discusses Elon Musk's influence over social media platforms critical to the MAGA base. Musk's actions against figures like Loomer could pressure Trump more than grassroots dissenters. Beatty points out the complexities of immigration reform, criticizing MAGA hardliners for oversimplifying the issue without substantial policy groundwork.
Darren Beatty (05:05):
"The populist movement that's been telling Republican voters for a generation... is going to be hearing this from those grassroots folks, and it will cause attention with Elon that I don't think is reconcilable."
Steve Bannon echoes these sentiments, describing the current state as the "primal scream of a dying regime" and emphasizing the determination of the MAGA movement to resist technocratic influences.
Timestamp: 03:06 - 42:15
Bannon elaborates on the economic drawbacks of the H1B visa system, arguing that it allows tech companies to exploit foreign labor while burdening American taxpayers with the costs of green cards and chain migration.
Steve Bannon (03:06):
"The H1B visa program is a total and complete scam from its top to the bottom. And Elon's put out this tweet that, you know, all his companies have depended upon that."
Dave Bratt, an economics professor, supports Bannon's view by distinguishing between genuine talent and cheap labor. He criticizes the H1B program for perpetuating economic disparities and enabling chain migration, which he claims imposes long-term financial burdens on American taxpayers.
Dave Bratt (37:30):
"H1B is not about talent. It's not even about high skill. What it's about is cost cutting... the expectation of getting a green card and chain migration."
Timestamp: 40:03 - 41:13
Bannon and Bratt engage in a discussion on nationalism, contrasting traditional American nationalism with what they perceive as technocratic control. Bannon warns against the erosion of American cultural and societal structures by tech elites who prioritize economic gains over national identity.
Steve Bannon (40:03):
"We believe in other strong nations, a planet that had strong nations, vibrant nations, people that love their countries... Why do we want to take all the talent..."
Bratt counters by emphasizing the distinction between attracting exceptional talent and exploiting foreign workers for economic benefits, reiterating the exploitative nature of the current H1B system.
Timestamp: 28:10 - 50:46
Throughout the episode, Bannon shares personal anecdotes illustrating the commitment of MAGA allies, including Elon Musk's support during the Trump campaign. Despite disagreements on immigration policy, Bannon acknowledges Musk's pivotal role in Trump's electoral successes.
Steve Bannon (28:15):
"What we're doing is putting up the Chronicles of Christian of the Christians... This is the war room. And the war room is always ready for war."
The discussion culminates in a rallying call for MAGA supporters to remain steadfast in their fight against what they perceive as technocratic overreach, emphasizing unity and resilience.
Timestamp: 46:44 - End
In the concluding segments, Bannon reiterates the determination of the MAGA movement to combat internal and external threats. He underscores the importance of preserving American sovereignty and cultural integrity against perceived technological and economic imperialism.
Steve Bannon (49:05):
"We're killing it, dude. Look forward to talking to you over the weekend... We're not going to tolerate this."
Elon Musk briefly addresses the ongoing conflict, highlighting the importance of American talent and criticizing the current administration's immigration policies. He advocates for a merit-based system prioritizing American citizens.
Elon Musk (21:45 - 24:15):
"The next American government would not be about looking abroad to help foreign people to go and get involved in foreign wars... It's about merit, but merit for the American citizen."
Bannon closes the episode by emphasizing the crucial role of economic policies and leadership in safeguarding America's future, setting the stage for continued debates and strategies in upcoming episodes.
