Episode 4325: Three Prong Approach To Securing American Sovereignty; Inflation That's Driven By Out Of Control Spending ...

Animus between Mr. Bannon and Mr. Musk encapsulates a key tension at the heart of Mr. Trump's Make America Great Again movement. It pits those like Mr. Bannon, who want Mr. Trump to carry out a more fully populist agenda against ultra wealthy interests epitomized by Mr. Musk, who occupy key positions in the president's orbit. Mr. Trump has made clear he wants to keep both men and their allies within his movement. But Mr. Bannon's vocal disdain for Mr. Musk has been noticed by the President. In mid February, the president told Mr. Bannon that he wanted him to lay off the attacks on Mr. Musk and for the two men to sit down privately. That's according to two people familiar with the comments. That meeting has not happened yet. It's not clear when or if it will. So, Tyler, you know, we know that Bannon still an outside adviser to the President. They speak occasionally. His war room podcast is listened by many, listened to by many in the West Wing. Seems like he's pulled his punches on Musk. You know, he's hit him a couple times, but not the full throated way that we know Steve Bannon can when he wants to go after someone.
Joe Scarborough
So tell us a little bit more.
John Swan
Here about the state of this relationship. Do we think that meeting is ever going to happen?
Maggie Haberman
Yeah, that's a big question, John, and it's unclear that it will. And I think one of the things that's really interesting about this relationship and this, this, this fight between the two of them is what it tells us about Donald Trump and the broader Republican Party and the movement and Trump's effort to try to keep both of these sort of opposite poles inside the coalition, inside the tent, and sort of tamp down on these. But, you know, as you noted and read from the piece, these two men have vastly different views. And one of them, I think, comes down to sort of the ideological drive of them. Steve Bannon has been preaching about populism for many years, has sort of been at the vanguard of that movement to move the Republican Party in that direction. Elon Musk is not somebody who was even a Republican a few years ago, definitely not a Trump supporter during the first term. I heard from people that heard directly from Elon Musk, who was very critical of Trump's approach on tariffs, on sort of his disdain for the globalization in the global economy that many of Elon Musk's businesses depend on. Now, we've obviously, obviously seen this full transition of Musk into someone that is a full throated Donald Trump supporter. And so it's just interesting to observe this dynamic unfold, particularly against the backdrop of the economics that we're talking about here and how, you know, Trump's tariff policy is going to impact billionaires like Elon Musk, who are quite concerned about not just investment but, but the stock market as well, which, which guests have mentioned is a huge concern of Donald Trump. He ran in 2024 on this economic argument, blaming Joe Biden for inflation, blaming Joe Biden for a whole cost for inflated goods across the board. And so as we see costs go up here in America, it'll be quite interesting to see not just how Donald Trump responds, but how Republican politicians and their voters respond as well.
Stephen K. Bannon
Action here isn't just made up. This isn't just like somebody like trying to gain power. I can think of few people less su to help run the MAGA movement than the two I mentioned, Elon Musk. I mean, the whole populist fight is against globalists, billionaires, multinational corporations, monopolies, which, which a lot of these tech companies now basically are monopolies. And they aren't, they don't live in nationalism. They believe they are bigger than any nation, that they are their own standalone nation state. So again, I'm just not sure how these two forces are balanced in the Maggie universe moving forward.
Joe Scarborough
Well, look, I mean, Joe, that, that tension between, which is embodied by the tension between Musk and Musk and Steve Bannon, who've been fighting publicly and in some cases viciously now since December when the first kind of debate about H1B visas came out. It became clear that Elon Musk was like every other person in Silicon Valley who believes deeply in immigration, especially for high skilled workers. And Steve Bannon, who wants to basically stop all immigration in the United States. They started fighting then the tension has ebbed and flowed in public, but in private it's been intense. And this reporting by Maggie and John, John Swan, that, that, that put Elon on his back foot. Bannon immediately seized on that. I think this is, in the long run, this is one of the great tensions governing the Trump 2 point and also about kind of the, what the key choices that Trump has to make. And I got to say, you know, Elon Musk is an incredibly rich guy, although he's getting less rich by the day. The man has lost $180 billion off of his net worth as Tesla. The Tesla shares have tanked. That's even big money to you, Joe. $180 billion in net worth. That's like that's some serious, some serious business there. And like as that has started to happen, you know, Bannon, he's very rich, he's got control of X. They give those are big assets to Donald Trump. But I got to say, how long Elon Musk is going to want to continue to see people attacking Tesla dealerships around the country, lighting Tesla charging stations on fire, painting swastikas on the sides of Tesla dealerships and seeing the stock price plummet that way, impacting his personal wealth? I don't know. And the other thing I know is you never count out Steve Bannon in one of these fights because he is the embodiment of the MAGA base and without the MAGA base, there is no Donald Trump.
Stephen K. Bannon
Yeah, well, I don't know if Donald Trump would say that, but yeah, don't count out Steve Bannon in a fight over, you know, what lies at the heart of maga.
Steve Bannon
This is the primal scream of a dying regime. Pray for our enemies because we're going.
Viva Fry
Medieval on these people. There's not got a free shot. All these networks lying about the people, the people have had a belly full of it. I know you don't like hearing that. I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it. It's going to happen. And where do people like that go to share the big lie? MAGA media I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience. Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose? If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved. War ROOM here's your host, Stephen K. Band. It's Monday 10th March, Yervalor 2025. President Trump today geopolitically trying to stave off the kinetic part of the third World War team in Riyadh getting ready to sit down with the Russians about this Russian rapprochement. Canada last night chose a or yesterday chose a new leader who stoned down even harder. The Mexican president also yesterday throwing down hard about President Trump's it's not just the terrorist program. It is, it's much deeper. We're going to get into it right now about what the stakes are here and where we really stand. And we're going to address obviously this CR which is going to come to a head at least on the Republican House side with a vote tomorrow. President Trump, it's three or four directions or verticals, as we said. The main thing he's got to do in this first part of the, the second term is, number one, one of his priorities, or if you look at the whole three we've talked about, is to stop the kinetic part of the Third World War. Because if that continues on with the viciousness in Ukraine, with the viciousness you're seeing in Israel, with side combat coming out of the Houthis in the Red Sea and other places, it's going to spin out of control. It is going to spin out of control and we're going to have a situation that's going to be very tough to put back into the bottle. And President Trump understands that. That's why he's spending so much time with this and this is why he has people like, you know, Marco Ruby, I think, is deployed to Data rea. You have Steve Witkoff, his lead negotiator, who's all over this. They're putting their best minds on it and they're putting their best, their best people on it. Number two, it is the three pronged. Seal the border, take out the cartels, deport 10 million illegal alien invaders, a three prong process basically around our southern border that begins to get our sovereignty back and our territorial integrity back and to protect American citizens, particularly Hispanics and African American working class have been flooded with cheap labor. Okay, and you've got Tom Homan, you have Stephen Miller, Todd Bensman is deploying down there right now to give us a report. We understand the Stryker Brigade is like headed to El Paso, Texas right now. We have reports of CIA assets doing targeting. The Mexican president yesterday is pretty adamant about what she thinks the sovereignty of Mexico is. But there's a fight that is coming, just like in the first part of President Trump's first term in taking down the ISIS caliphate. And people forget how brutal that was, how he did it. And it was done in six months. What they told us, a generational activity. President Trump is going to do this to the Mexican drug and human trafficking cartels full stop. The third leg of that, and maybe the most complicated, is to get us out of this financial crisis that we're in. And they're in a threefold thing. A threefold part is, and I think this is the one area where the administration which I think is clicking on all cylinders and just doing a great job, is maybe not messaging to the degree they could message. And that is the mess that they were handed right now. If you look at the business press and the business meeting, all the questions get asked. President Trump is everything you have currently. It doesn't have a starting point that's based in reality. The best reality of this has been on the show with EJ and Tony about 10 days ago. And I will replay that in this first in the morning segment because I think we have to have a reset exactly where we are financially and economically upon which President Trump's policies are going to take place. The policies are threefold. Number one, it is to have a supply side tax cut and a organized effort in the cutting of this massive federal spending which is driving inflation to kind of get our growth back and to make unleash the animal spirits. Right. Number two is the deconstruction of the administrative state and massive deregulation of which the Doge guys are at the forefront right now. Number three is this tariff. But it's not just tariffs on tomatoes from Mexico. It is a rethinking of the geo economic model of the United States of America, to wit, that we're a premium market. And if you want access to this market, there's going to be a toll and that toll is going to work to the benefit of the American people. Number one, it's going to be used to drive high value added manufacturing jobs back here to the United States of America. A reassuring and the reshoring is working and I don't think being promoted in a enough organized way. It's kind of every couple of days announcement. It is historic. In the first 40 days of President Trump's administration. It's a trillion, almost a trillion dollars, folks. And this is not from private equity funds or the Saudi sovereign wealth fund or Masasan with SoftBank, all these guys that kind of come in and out and they may invest in companies, they may not. That's all great, great. I'm not a big believer in that type of foreign capital coming United States, but it does show a support for President Trump's economy and President Trump's business model for the country. But what's really special is when you have Apple who has made built their business around offshoring saying we're going to reshore to the tune of at least $500 billion. Right. Advanced manufacturing jobs. When you have Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Corp. The premier, I still believe even when the premier advanced chip design in the world say that they're going to put $100 billion over four years around Phoenix, Arizona to really build world class manufacturing. We see Honda and other car companies saying we're coming to Indiana. All these other red states, principally I count Michigan now as a red state or in process of becoming red. It's almost, I think it's 7 or $800 billion. You can actually point to today in 40 days. And these are people that have made decisions of pivoting here at the same time with the deconstruction administration. What Doge is doing, you have to take care of what are the bridge events. This show is we pride ourselves in showing process and critical path. How do you get there? How did President Trump get to the new golden age of America? How do you get to what we call the sunlit uplands? It's a grind and a process and you have to be realistic about that process. And we have to know exactly kind of where we're going on the journey. Even though the journey may have some zigs and zags, the CR is clearly a zig. That's okay, not the end of the world, but we have to have an adult conversation about exactly what it means and more importantly, where it's heading us. Because the only thing we're interested in is victory. The only thing we're interested in is getting to the sunlit uplands. The only thing this whole effort is for President Trump to return from a stolen election to restore this republic as one of the three greatest leaders this nation's ever had, along with General Washington and Abraham Lincoln. The sunlit uplands are ahead of us, but the hard work is also ahead of us all. Next in the War room. I wonder if Real America's voice in my crack production team could do the following in Grayson, Mo. If you get Thomas Massey's because Thomas Massie look, Thomas Massie is not going to vote for the CR he's pretty adamant. I do believe that we have to make progress in this, that we have to somehow not shut down this government. And you know, I'm a big believer in shutting down the governments. But President Trump has got so many things balls he's juggling right now that are massively important. I don't think that because the Democrats are going to want to use that against him. But we have to get back to what we're trying to accomplish and who's trying to accomplish it. If you look at the economic part of this. So you got the geopolitics and what President Trump's doing with geopolitics. It's a hemispheric defense. It's really America first but it's not America alone and it's not America coming home and it's not America isolation. It's a quite brilliant logic of the founding generation and in particular Monroe and the people that came out and who are the tip these guys were the fighters in the Revolutionary War. Not the feel great officers like General Washington and others, but people like Hamilton, like Monroe, like John Marshall, the and they understood that we're not Europe, that we left Europe and they wanted to leave the old world behind. In doing that they came up with this Monroe Doctrine, this hemispheric defense and President Trump is reinstating that first with the Panama Canal. And of course Drudge's MacDaddy over the weekend which was pulled from a Newsweek article which is quite brilliant is about the CCP turning the Caribbean into a into a PLA Navy lake like Russia tried at the Cuban missile crisis. And the Chinese been very effective on this with the embassies and ports and money and all of it. So one of the reasons Trump's going to Panama to seize the Panama Canal and seal that off and cut off the Chinese navy from access to the Caribbean all the way to Greenland, right to Fort the thrust our defense out into the North Atlantic to cut off the Russian navy, the submarine forces on the Pacific same the three island chain to make that that what I call the Pacific desert. And some of my colleagues at the committee and President Danger brilliantly say no it's the American heartland. I'll get more of that later. But then you from medically sealed the United States of America maybe even throw up an iron dome program. This is one of the reasons the Canadians, which, by the way, were dominion, I think, until 1982, the logic of the 21st century will make it quite clear that some sort of partnership statehood or whatever has a compelling logic to it when you look at the Arctic, because you're going to lose your sovereignty and you're going to lose your territorial integrity from the north. President Trump sees this just like President Trump understands to stop the chemical warfare attack, the second Opium War by the Chinese Communist Party, you have to take out the distributors and he's going to take out the cartels, and he's going to do it violently. He's going to cut their money off, going to treat him like a terrorist organization, he's going to seize assets, but eventually he is going to drop a physical hammer on them to make sure they're eradicated and they don't come back. That is, you're not sending those strikers down to El Paso, Texas for a show of force economically. Let's go back to it. It's a 3 the tax cut, which is this whole thing of reconciliation. And this is one of the reasons they got. Took the Ralph the ball in the cr, which we preached the gospel of this back in December and in January had to focus on this so then we wouldn't be in a situation where we're coming up against the clock. A forcing function, right. And this time a forcing function for the Democrats to basically fund the rest of this year. And what Thomas Massie saying is correct. We have to go forward, unfortunately, I think, with the CR as clean as possible and with the assumption, one big assumption, that the Doge, because this is the, this is the, this is the reality of it. And the New York Times did a really good job of laying out where Doge had done force reductions and cost cutting. Okay? And it's kind of laid out in pretty much detail, you can see. But the reality is we are going to prove Biden's budget numbers. We are going to have basically a $2 trillion deficit for this fiscal year. And we are going to, at least temporarily. Temporarily or some interim period, actually finance not just future Doge cuts where they're finding. They're finding anomalies. They're finding things either waste, fraud and abuse, overstaffing, et cetera, that. But we're going to do the ones they've already found. Now, that's supposedly going to be taken care of on either one of two methodologies, either impoundment by the executive branch at some time in the future before September 30th for this fiscal year or it's going to take place in some sort of rescission, maybe in the Senate, who knows. But Rand Paul already laid out a $500 billion package that would come in hundred billion dollar tranches. The bottom line is to always remember Secretary Treasury Bessant in the President's joint plan is a supply side tax cut that gets growth above 3% to maybe three and a half, potentially 4%. Because in that growth with the tax structure you even have today, you start to generate more tax revenue. You can pay down and not have as big a deficit. And the target in the deficit is essentially from 6.5% of GDP to three and a half percent. They're not saying that you can get and eradicate this the deficit immediately or even. I think Russ Vogt has a plan to get to a balanced budget in 10 years. And the way you do that is incrementally and you get the 3.5% in a couple of years and then you manage down from there. That's logical. I would clearly like to have it come quicker and I think it can come quicker. But that is a plan and that's a plan they're working towards. Towards that plan you have to have. You have to stop this insane federal spending. Now how do you do that? There's two ways. Number one, there is certainly waste, fraud and abuse. Is it a trillion dollars that's been reported? No, I do not think it's. I would love to have it a trillion dollars. It would be quite painless to do it that way. I'm also an adult that's gone through this budget. Is there waste, fraud and abuse? Absolutely. Are there things are popping up people didn't know about? Absolutely. Do we have to. Are we going to pay for that by the CR at least temporarily? Absolutely. That's just the way it falls, folks. So embrace it. Can it be unwound? Absolutely. Is it the thing we have to hit first? Absolutely. But then it's going to come and it's going to come and now they're promising us and this is Johnson because remember in the Constitution it's got to come out of the House. Both all the revenue suggestions coming from Jason Smith and his committee and the cuts. And so what Johnson's promising. Now here's what you're buying into. I just want to make sure everybody understands it that you're buying into a situation where we are doing this interim basis as much as people hate it. But there are two things going to happen. Number one, that the DOGE cuts that are already been identified in this fiscal year 25, which ends on September 30, that they will somehow on a commitment from the administration be dealt with, number one. Number two, that in these appropriations hearings this summer. And folks, this may strike a raw nerve because you've done this exercise before that we're going to sit through and they're going to have programmatic cuts because in reality, to actually get this spending under control, I have preached it's got to be programs and billets. Billets mean job, you know, organization charts that go away. So it's not, it doesn't, it's not matter of the people's performance, doesn't matter if they're good, bad, indifferent, they show up to work, they don't show up to work. All that's got to be dealt with with the Doge aspects. But the real cuts, the significant cuts, the painful cuts, because it's not going to be easy and somebody's going to have to take some political pain. The cuts. And this is why I say, and this is why I was so adamant about Elon having to cross the Potomac, because you're not going to have a serious conversation until we have a conversation about the Defense Department. And particularly since President Trump has laid out a hemispheric defense that totally reorganizes the geostrategy of the United States, the grand strategy and essentially says the post war international rules based order had to spread all over the rim of the Eurasian landmass and a containment strategy of the Soviet Union. Now maybe in the 21st century, particularly with the Russian rapprochement, maybe we don't have to do it the scale that we had to do it before. And therefore the defense budget can be rejiggered, restructured, repo, that's and we can pull finally out of centcom. Maybe not totally, but not with this obsession. And this is why Tucker and Kurt Mills and other very smart people and Bridge Colby, the big fight over Bridge Colby was to say, hey, maybe we don't get put into pulled into another Middle east war that we've been at for 20 years. And maybe we don't get pulled into a war with Persia, a land war, maybe we can do it other ways. The Persian head dictator Mullah rejected President Trump. They say I haven't gotten a letter, don't want to read a letter. Who's Trump? Well, he's about to know quite shortly who President Trump is in that geopolitical restructuring. And it's not America alone. It's not America isolationists. It's America smart and America first. And President Trump has thought this through at a very deep level. You can see that playing out with all his critics snapping at his heels. But the economic part there, you're going to have to thread the needle and it's only going to come the supply side tax cut. It's about getting US growth that gets you growth. That kind of even with the exact same tax structure you have starts to generate more revenues. Number one, Doge the waste, fraud and abuse cuts at least one layer at the top or the easiest that has to be done. Now the second is the harder appropriations process that you're going to have to get in there and here's and cut. And the third is the repurposing and looking at tariffs as an external revenue service that if it can't drive external revenues it brings high value added manufacturing jobs from the greatest companies in the world to the United States of America where they employ people called American citizens in our homeland and generate tax revenue in our homeland. That three aspects of it coupled with the geopolitics is the plan. The only question is how do we execute that will take us to the sunlit uplands. How do we execute this and who executes it all? Have you heard that before? History is a process. We're living in history. You know, the decades in which nothing happens and there weeks and decades happen. That's what you're living right now. You're also living in the Chinese curse. May you live in interesting times. But you, this audience, are an army of the awakened. As I've said, in the long run of history, when they think back of this era, like with General Washington and President Lincoln run the Civil War, they're not going to remember Steve Bannon or Tucker Carlson or Sean Hann or Gavin Newsom or, you know, Pritzker or you know, Mark Cuban, Elon Musk. They're going to remember two things. This is going to be the age of Trump and they're going to remember Trump and they're going to remember maga, a populist nationalist movement that kind of came after years simmering malcontent discontent of what was going on. That's what they're going to remember. And that is why you're so important in this, in this historical process. But in any process you have statics and dynamics and you have to force things. It's just not going to happen. Particularly when you have an established order like we've allowed this nation to ossify in a series of kind of oligarchic, whether it's the lords of easy money on Wall street, the corporatists or the oligarchs in Silicon Valley. That's just reality. That is what Trump essentially and you have been fighting against, whether that's been represented by Mitch McConnell or Nancy Pelosi or anybody in between. And you've seen this now that that is why the Fox News and the Murdochs and the Republican Party have been in controlled opposition for decades. After decades. After decades. We didn't get here because there was a fight going. There wasn't a fight. It was phony like pro wrestling. And now we're in a fight because now you're talking about money and power and it's going to be a fight and there's no compromise. There's just not. There's nothing to compromise about. If you compromise, it means you're losing. So you can't compromise. Compromise is always the easy way, too. You can't if you're going to compromise, your if we had compromised at any step of the way, we would not be here. We can see the sunlit uplands. You can see how this thing gets sorted. It's going to be it's going to be massively difficult. It's going to take everybody's time and energy. We're not going to win them all. Hey, we ain't going to win tomorrow. When the CR passes that not a win. That's a tactical retreat to get to a better place. But let's call it what it is. Don't. Don't send me. Don't put it by saying, oh, these are huge wins. No, this is because of incompetent and cowardly House leadership. Just is. And to do what we need to do by September 30th, there's a ton of hard work and a lot of pain that's going to come. Just remember, you're not going. Inflation is driven by this massive federal spending. We're not going to stop that until you stop said federal spending to cut it back dramatically. There's two ways to do it, Doge and I wish those guys all the luck in the world. I've talked about this deconstruction of the administrative state. Guys have tried to do it. We've been thwarted by the Republican establishment every step of the way. Couldn't overcome it. This is why it's so important. But that's only part of the solution. The other is you're going to have to get into those appropriations, you have to have huge fights and we're going to have to make tough calls and you're going to get tons of criticism. In cutting defense, in cutting social programs, in smartly cutting Medicaid smartly. What did President Trump say yesterday? Say Thursday, with a scalpel, not an ax. And you can do that. Some programs you have to take up ax to a hatchet, I think, as he called it, to get to six and a half, from six and a half percent of GDP as deficits, which we're addicted to. We're addicted to federal spending. Look at the. Look at the tv, look at news, look at the papers. Look at the protests, the uproar. We're addicted to federal spending. Addicted needs to be an intervention. Interventions are tough. A real intervention. The programmatically says we're not going to do this anymore. It's not that we found waste or fraud or abuse. No, this part, boom. Yes, we found the waste, fraud, we took that. But this, we're not going to do that. We're not going to do that. That's gone boom out. All the billets associated were gone. In the New York Times piece that lists out everything that's been done. The buried lead down there is coming from the Washington Post where President Trump says he intends to cut 30 to 40% of the federal government. Now, it's ill to find that workforce or programs, but hey, even if it was workforce, Come on, baby, let's go. Let's roll. Then you have to do that in a manner that's serious and not there to humiliate people. But to say, hey, we're not going to do this anymore, that is gone. And if it needs to be passed through legislation or if the courts need to back us up, we're going to have compelling cases in each of the week. Either win on votes or we can win in the courts to make it permanent. They're all over President Trump. And there's tariffs. The tariffs, you know, the tariffs. And I think. And I understand for the. How legally they have to do it with emergencies. And it's fentanyl and all that. I got it. And fentanyl is horrible in the second chemical war. But there's something also deeper, and that is the. The economic relationship with our trading partners, the Chinese Communist Party being the biggest. And we have to face that. The other two being Mexico and Canada, our neighbors on this. Our neighbors here for this, what we call it, hemispheric defense. I gotta. And there's been. There are huge political changes going on in those countries even as we speak. And to get to the sunlit uplands, right, particularly with Canada, it's been one of our best allies. And the valor and courage of the Canadian men and women that have served have been unbelievable. And as allies to the United States, and I mean, people that really punch way above their weight class, they're extraordinary people, and it's an extraordinary dominion. Let's play. And by the way, they're in an uproar now as Trudeau passes the baton. Let's play Canada. Then we'll play a cut from Mexico. I've got two. I've got Viva Fry for Canada. And our own Oscar Blue Ramirez will join us from Mexico City. Let's go ahead and let it rip.
Mark Carney
We have made this the greatest country in the world. And now. And now our neighbors want to take us. No way. No way. There's someone who's trying to do the opposite. There's someone who's trying to weaken. Yeah. Donald Trump. Donald Trump. Donald Trump. And Donald Trump, as we know, has put, as the Prime Minister just said, unjustified tariffs on what we build, on what we sell, on how we make a living. He's attacking Canadian families, workers and businesses, and we cannot let him. And we won't The Canadian government has rightly retaliated and is rightly retaliating with our own tariffs that will have maximum impact in the United States and minimum impact here. My government will keep our tariffs until the Americans show us. Americans want our resources, water, our land, our country. Think about it. If they. If they succeeded, they would destroy our way of life in America. Health care is a big business in Canada is a right. America is a melting pot. America is not Canada. And Canada never, ever will be part of America in any way, shape or.
Viva Fry
Form that would be called, folks, a gauntlet. I want to bring in Viva Fry, one of the smartest guys I know about many topics, but particularly his beloved Canada. Viva. Put in perspective. You were pretty. You were lit up on Twitter yesterday about what went on. Walk us through where exactly we stand with this, sir.
Oscar Blue Ramirez
I thought I was angry this morning until you put that montage up. I mean, it's. It's the most irritating. The thing is this. I know that I'm relatively naive, and I know my own level of ignorance. And you understand, people watching Mark Carney don't even understand that they are ignorant in the first place to know that they're being played like a fiddle. This is an unelected, anointed, globalist wef lackey. I don't know if I can use the W H O R e word on your channel, but. And I'm joking, but people don't even understand this. Like when Trudeau said he was resigning and everyone rejoiced. And I was one of the ones who rejoiced because, you know, you don't fully appreciate how the rules will come and bite you in the butt. And you thought Trudeau was a scoundrel. He's a scoundrel even in his resignation. He resigns and they prorogue Parliament for three months. So we've had no session of Parliament of government in Canada. And then they declare a leadership race and in comes Mark Carney, who spent the better part of the last decade living in Europe, serving the interests of England, opposing Brexit. He is a wef globalist whore by the purest of definitions. He just walks in and is appointed Prime Minister of Canada because 150,000 registered Liberals voted for this guy, or 85% of them voted for this guy. And now we've got a Kamala Esque, Prime Minister of Canada until such time as a new election is declared or it comes time, per legislation in October 2025. This man is a man who has three passports. His loyalty to Canada is probably third on the list of his registered passports. And it's fourth if you include the WEF as an overarching organization. Now he's leading Canada into a war with America that they cannot win, that they should have been smarter to avoid, and that I appreciate. People think Trump's tariff war, you know, fentanyl, tighten up your borders was pretextual. If it was pretextual, congratulations, you walked right into the pretext. Carney talked about protecting our way of life in Canada. He spent the better part of the decade in Europe ignoring the fact that in Canada, health care is not a right. Death care is the industry. This is a country that in shambles for a decade. And now he's gonna come in and seemingly successfully convince a bunch of ignorant buffoons that their woes are Trump's fault and not the Liberals. Reign of terror for the last 10 years. Sorry. Serenity now.
Viva Fry
Magnificent. No, no. Magnificent. Okay, you hang on right there. Magnificent. Only Viva Fry can give it with both barrels. We've got Oscar Blue Ramirez that is in. Is in Mexico City. Oscar Blue Ramirez. We got about 60 seconds, then we're going to hold both of you guys through breaks. Why are you in Mexico City, brother?
Ezra Klein
We covered the speech on the Mexican president, sir. Yesterday. More than 350,000 people were listening to the Mexican president as she spoke completely different as what you saw with the Canadian, the Canadian fellow right here, she completely said that she has a great relationship now with the Trump administration. That is a matter of respect, how Trump has been treating her and also that Mexican president towards the Trump administration and that they're fixing things and they're advancing on tackling the trafficking of fentanyl and a lot of things in terms of immigration, Steve. That they're completely against the globalist agenda. This is 180 degrees. Her speech yesterday was about creating a bilateral relationship on tackling the cartels and, you know, basically making other countries great in Central and South America. So the migration will stop and that those migrants and those countries will grow in the internal and economical growth internally. Steve. So it was completely different. More than 350,000 people listening to the Mexican president's speech right there.
Viva Fry
Hang on. Oscar Blue Ramirez. Folks, you see the sunlit uplands. You see it up ahead. You see it up there. It's kind of dim now, but you see it. Do you see it? That's the Trump effect. Short commercial break. Back in a moment. We rejoice when there's no more. Let's take down the ccp.

Host, Stephen K. Band. Okay, there were huge moves in like the movement of gold over the weekend. I'm gonna get Philip Patrick hopefully this afternoon or tomorrow to talk about it. But in the interim, go to birchgold.com one of the easiest ways you can do it right now is just take your phone out. Text Bannon at 989-898 to get the ultimate guide for investing in gold in the era of Trump. It's accessible so you can read it and understand it. Then you talk to Philip Patrick and team. That's the key is to get a relationship with Philip Patrick and his and doing today by going to Birch Gold. Also, if you like geopolitics and to understand how President Trump's trying to save the republic, you have to understand geopolitics. We try to put as much out there as possible with you guys. But we've got Jim Rickards, a new contributor for us and he's one of the best in the world. Rickardswarroom.com you go there, you get access to strategic intelligence. It's his newsletter, monthly newsletters. That's quite frankly amazing. I've read it for years. If you sign up, he's got a free and you come in through the war room, he's got this free book, Money in GPT. Really money in currency and artificial intelligence, which will basically scare you, as it kind of should. We're going to talk more about artificial intelligence in the next segment. We Got Mark Jeftovic from Canada and we've also got our own Joe Allen. We're going to be talking about the advances in artificial intelligence and what's happened often. Naomi's great report she gave us from India on Saturday. We were going to try to have her but couldn't totally work it out. Hopefully have her tomorrow. Also, this Newsweek article about the Caribbean becoming a Chinese Communist Party lake because of their navy is a wake up call. It's a fascinating piece. Also the rise of the Chinese Communist Party and how aggressive they're being, particularly as we go down the path of the Russian rapprogyman, which right now they're having a working meeting in Riyadh, which Zelensky somehow has wormed his way into. I think a meeting with mbs. More about that later with Ezra Cohen, who's going to join us in the next hour. One thing for you to get ahead of the curve, give yourself access to Jace Medical. They took Rosemary Gibson's theory of the case about supply chains, but the Chinese communist party controlling 100% of API active pharmaceutical ingredients, also controlling 80% of the generic drug market. And the 80% they didn't control the 20% India, they actually controlled that with API. Go to Jace Medical right now. Understand it all. Understand the supply chain issues and understand why Jace Medical gave you an out. Because the Chinese Communist Party is going to pull every tactic and strategy in the world to continue their rise as a hegemon in East Asia. Then the Eurasian landmass and then for global control. And of course, we're here to take down the Chinese Communist Party to help La Bajang. Oscar Blue Ramirez, hit rewind for one moment. I want to hear because it's. The speech yesterday was shocking vis a vis that kind of what we've been coming out of Mexico before. Walk us through what was said and why it was said. Sir.
Ezra Klein
A lot of the things that are completely shocking. One of the things she started saying, we sent a message to the United States of America. We're not your adversaries. We're not your enemies. We're supposed to be allies and we're neighbors. We are working closely with the Trump administration, talking about the trafficking of fentanyl. Also, she sent a message to the American people. We're going to do everything, we take everything we can to decrease the level of traffic into your country so we can save the lives of the youth of the United States citizens. Another statistic that it was shocking also, Steve, since the Trump administration took office in January, the distribution of fentanyl she said it has decreased on 40% in the country of Mexico in direction to the United States of America. And ultimately talking about immigration, this was also shocking. She said that to stop the immigration crisis in these countries that are lacking of jobs and lacking of necessity, we need to make those countries great so this immigration of necessity will not come and be a trickle effect and a dominant effect to the north. Everything that is against the globalist agenda, everything that is against what Biden administration was pushing is at 180 degrees change. And also it was pleasing the audience. Everybody was applauding, everybody was supporting her. And the message was that we need to create an allegiance and that she has a great relationship with President Trump.
Viva Fry
So viva Fry, our ally to the north. And people, we're very, you know, people love Canada. Why the hard throwdown by Castro's, Castro's relief here, sir.
Oscar Blue Ramirez
He had nothing to lose because he was already on his way out. So the Liberals thrive by creating crises to manage. And so their response, playing punch for punch with someone who is 10 times their size or dollar for dollar with an economy that's 10 times their size, I mean, it's a losing strategy, but at least it creates a crisis for the Liberals to govern and it allows them also to retroactively or blame retroactive problems on Trump. People don't seem to really understand this. Like one in four children in Canada live in household households with food insecurity. It's sort of the same game they played with COVID Blame Covid for the overwhelming of the hospital system when it's been a decades old problem. Canada has been in dire straits for a long time, but now create this crisis and make people believe it's the result of Trump's tariffs and not liberal policies. I see that the person who really dropped the ball in how they dealt with this because they didn't need to deal with it was Pierre Poilievre and the Conservative Party. They could have said nothing and been better off than having done what they did, which was jump on this bandwagon of demonizing Trump and making it look like he's coming after Canadian jobs. Canadians, whether or not you think that's what he's doing, you're gonna have to negotiate with him. You're gonna have to discuss, you're gonna have to make certain concessions because there are objective problems up at the Canadian border. So Pierre, you know, really screwed it up, dropped the ball. In terms of thinking it was popular to pick a fight with Trump in Canada, he might be right. In the short term. In the long term, he's gonna have to try to win a majority government in the next federal election. So, you know, I say I'm criticizing him. Maybe he takes the advice, maybe he doesn't. Maybe you think I'm criticizing him because I love him or hate him. I ran for the People's Party of Canada. My criticism is legit. He could still save it to some extent by backing walking back the fight with Trump and say, look, we'll come to when it's time. And for now, we're just gonna try to work on making Canada a better place to live instead of picking fights with people that we cannot win a fight with.
Viva Fry
Viva, hang on for one second. Viva Fry about his beloved Canada. Oscar Blue Ramirez about his beloved Mexico. You're hearing it and you're hearing it straight. Amazing change south of the border. Why? The Trump effect. You can see the sunlit uplands. It's up past there. Right? No bs, no happy talk. This is what we need to do, and this is how we're going to do it. And we would love to have you as our partner in doing that. We're taking a short commercial break. The right stuff takes us out. It's 90 seconds. I've asked Viva and Oscar to stick around. Ezra Klein. Also, massive news coming out of President Trump and the Raman with the Russians, what Persia thinks about it, what's happening in Ukraine, the Chinese Communist Party, all of it. Next in the war room. The April 15 tax deadline is coming and it's coming fast. Do you have unfiled tax returns? Can't pay the irs. The IRS is more than aggressive and the more aggressive than ever. Title: Three Prong Approach To Securing American Sovereignty; Inflation That's Driven By Out Of Control Spending
Host: WarRoom.org (Stephen K. Bannon)
Release Date: March 10, 2025
Key Discussion: The episode opens with an analysis of the growing animosity between Stephen Bannon and Elon Musk, highlighting a significant rift within President Trump's Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement. This tension underscores a fundamental conflict between populist agendas and the interests of ultra-wealthy individuals like Musk who hold influential positions near the President.
Notable Quotes:
Insights:
Key Components: Stephen Bannon outlines a comprehensive three-pronged strategy aimed at reinforcing American sovereignty and addressing economic instability fueled by excessive federal spending.
A. Geopolitical Stability:
Preventing Kinetic Warfare: Bannon emphasizes the need to avert the escalation into kinetic conflicts, especially in regions like Ukraine, Israel, and the Red Sea, which could spiral into broader wars.
Quote [05:52]: "Number one, one of his priorities... is to stop the kinetic part of the Third World War."
Hemispheric Defense: Reinstituting a Monroe Doctrine-esque hemispheric defense to limit the influence of adversarial powers, particularly the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), in the Western Hemisphere.
Quote [06:05]: "President Trump is reinstating that first with the Panama Canal... to cut off the Russian navy, the submarine forces on the Pacific."
B. Border Security and Immigration Control:
Seal the Border: Implementing strict measures to secure the southern border, dismantle cartels, and deport millions of illegal immigrants to reclaim territorial integrity and protect American workers.
Quote [03:51]: "Seal the border, take out the cartels, deport 10 million illegal alien invaders."
Economic Impact on Multicultural Communities: Addressing how unchecked immigration has affected working-class communities, particularly among Hispanic and African American populations, by flooding the market with cheap labor.
C. Economic Restructuring:
Supply-Side Tax Cuts: Promoting tax cuts aimed at stimulating economic growth by increasing investment and reducing federal spending to combat inflation.
Quote [06:05]: "The policies are threefold... supply side tax cut and a organized effort in the cutting of this massive federal spending which is driving inflation."
Deconstruction of the Administrative State: Pushing for deregulation and reducing the size of the federal government to enhance economic efficiency and foster a pro-business environment.
Strategic Tariffs: Reimagining tariff policies not just as trade barriers but as tools to drive high-value manufacturing back to the U.S., thereby creating jobs and boosting the domestic economy.
Quote [03:01]: "It's a rethinking of the geo-economic model of the United States of America, to wit, that we're a premium market."
Key Discussion: Bannon delves into the root causes of inflation, attributing it primarily to rampant federal spending. He argues that reducing government expenditure is essential to curbing inflation and restoring economic stability.
Insights:
Deficit Reduction: Aimed to lower the deficit from 6.5% of GDP to 3.5% through a combination of tax cuts and spending reductions.
Strategic Spending Cuts: Emphasizing the elimination of waste, fraud, and abuse within federal programs, alongside more substantial programmatic cuts to achieve sustainable fiscal health.
Quote [51:32]: "We're addicted to federal spending. Addicted needs to be an intervention."
Key Discussion: The episode further explores President Trump's strategic geopolitical initiatives, including seizing control of the Panama Canal to prevent Chinese naval access to the Caribbean and Arctic regions. This move is part of a broader strategy to limit CCP influence and maintain hemispheric dominance.
Notable Quotes:
Insights:
Key Discussion: Bannon discusses the imminent vote on the Continuing Resolution (CR) within the Republican-controlled House, highlighting the critical role it plays in the broader strategy to implement President Trump's agenda.
Insights:

Challenges Ahead: Anticipating significant political battles and resistance from both within and outside the Republican Party, especially regarding budget cuts and regulatory reforms.

Key Discussion: In his closing remarks, Bannon reiterates the importance of steadfastly pursuing the outlined strategies to achieve what he refers to as the "sunlit uplands"—a metaphor for a prosperous and sovereign America free from the constraints of excessive federal spending and globalist influences.
