But Kerry Lake, you're known in the public's mind as one of the fire breathers about what was happening on the southern border and particularly this fentanyl crisis, tariffs. You know, Todd Benson's got a piece going up on Daily Wire, I think, Todd, even as we speak, that breaks this down. It kind of reinforces what the New York Times was saying, tariffs and fentanyl. You just heard that there's been a 50% drop in this. Your comments and observations, ma'am?

Well, coming from Arizona and living there and having the experience of talking to so many angel parents, moms and dads who lost their kids from this fentanyl, I call it a crisis, but it really is a war. We sat back for four years and allowed for a weapon of mass destruction to cross our border. Joe Biden didn't do anything about it. I think he actually aided and abetted the cartels. And President Trump is stepping up and doing something about it. And this is critically important. We're losing a generation of young people. President Trump is turning the corner, going after the cartels, putting on tariffs. We're going to be closely monitoring everything coming across our border when these tariffs kick in and it's going to be harder to get the drugs across the ones that they are attempting to get across the border. The cartels have to be in a panic. But never forget, they're wily and they're smart, unfortunately. And they're already working on other plans. I read a great piece in the Epoch Times couple months back that they're already manufacturing fentanyl in Southern Africa, in South Africa right now, where of course, the Chinese, the CCP, have made inroads and they're already manufacturing, they're prepared for things to be clamped down in Mexico and they're already going to their plan B. So they will try and they will try and they will try to get this stuff in. And this is another reason why President Trump's tariff plan is actually going to be good at trying to stop this killing and poisoning of a young generation here because we're going to have a better eye on what's coming into our country. And you know, I think you mentioned it, things are going to get a little bit dicey and maybe crazy starting tomorrow. But whoever thought this was going to be smooth sailing just because we won the election, now is when the work begins. And in order to turn this economy around and put forth trade that President Trump has talked about that we know will work, it's going to take effort and it's going to be a little bit dicey at times. And so we just have to, as you said, you know, strap ourselves in, put on the seatbelt and get ready for what could be a little bit of a wild ride. But at the end of it, our economy is going to be so much stronger. The, the burden will not be on the American taxpayer. It's not going to be on the hard working man and woman in this country anymore to carry on Their backs. All of the bloat. We're seeing it right now with usaid. You know what they're have, what's happening there with M Agency, USAGM Global Media. The bloat and the out of control spending is outrageous. And every time we cancel a contract, we do something to shrink it down. I think about the hard working man, the hard working woman across America and easing their burden just a little bit more every day.

No. And it's taxpayers paying for this and it's all Marxist and neo Marxist stuff. Hang on for one second because I want to go to part two of this and I want your comments on this since politically you're one of the leading voices about this in this country. So Todd Bensman. So folks understand President Trump put these tariffs in emergency measures to go after fentanyl. Fentanyl's dropped dramatically. It's not the Chinese Communist Party. She's going to try to take credit. Oh, you know, in the engine room, Captain Fennell says, always remember, keep the main thing. The main thing as Kerry just brought up, the cartel's partners are the Chinese Communist Party. They still exist. The lab still exists. Yes, it's. And we got Berquam and Oscar Blue down in that territory right now. They'll be reporting hopefully later today or tomorrow. But the kinetic part of this, you know, Pete Hegseth, they're mocking Pete Hegseth on MSNBC last night because he's got two Navy destroyers off the coast of Mexico is this. You've still got the Stryker command down on the border. The border's been essentially secured. We still need to build the wall. We still need to do more. We still need to make sure it's permanent and not just take our eye off of which they want us to do, but the kinetic activity, the actual physical destruction of the cartels, their fentanyl lab, their entire infrastructure and apparatus, just like President Trump in the first six months of the first term with General Mattis, took down the physical caliphate that existed with half Assyria and half of Iraq. And he let that place looking like Dresden in 1945 as he took down the ISIS caliphate and destroyed it. Root and branch. This must be destroyed root and branch. We can't. I know you've got this theory, the company, and we can do that and stop this. And Oscar Blue is talking about politicians. But the physical labs, the cartels, their henchmen, don't they have to be taken out either through a paramilitary activity or military strike?

Sir, yes, they do. And yes, they are being taken out. Right now, Mexico used to take its cut of the fentanyl profits from Kulikon. For 10 years, they've been taking their cut. Now they're attacking the labs. New York Times, you mentioned earlier, did a story just about a month ago talking about how fentanyl production has been virtually shut down completely as a result of pressure from Trump using the tariff. The tariff, remember, tariffs are not strictly about forcing Europe to open its markets to American products, et cetera, and Asia, et cetera. It's to get stuff like this done so that we can stop Americans dying of overdoses. That's really what the outcome of these tariffs are about. And right now, they have led to an eradication of. Of the fentanyl production in Kulokan. That doesn't mean all over Mexico. Obviously, they're moving it around. But Derek Maltz, the administrator of the dea, in an interview with me yesterday, told me that the cartels have made a strategic business decision to not smuggle fentanyl into the US Anymore because it's just too radioactive. They don't care that it's killing Americans. They care that it's killing their business with the foreign terrorist organization. Right. And that they're stopping as a strategic decision, a business decision. They're pragmatists, ultimately, even though they're killers also, and to start shipping that fentanyl to Europe instead. So all of that is because of the. You have to imagine that the CIA assets, the officers that have moved in there, that that's what they're working on. They're helping the Mexicans go kinetic on those labs right now. And by the way, the New York Times reporter said in a podcast, and I quote at length, most people miss this podcast completely. No friend of Donald Trump, obviously, it's. The New York Times are attributing the slowdown in fentanyl and the kinetic activity on those labs to Donald Trump's trade tariffs directly and repeatedly. In a podcast that I quote from, it's not just Derek Maltz saying, yeah, our policies forced this to happen, and there's a coinciding decline in smuggling. So what we need to see, it's early. It's still. The battlefield is fresh. It's being churned right now. It's going to continue. But the early data is very promising. But what we really need to know is whether that less smuggling is translating into saved American lives. And if that turns out to be the case, then Donald Trump will have earned his place, a revered place in American history for saving thousands and thousands of Americans. If this Thing works. It's early still.

When the New York Times guy covering the cartels say, hey, they've dropped 50% because Trump dropped a hammer on tariffs. I, you know, nothing was harder on the campaign trail than talking to parents and it was every day who would come up to you and say, I lost my 20 year old son. He's gone, he's never coming back. He took a single pill, he thought it was a real legitimate pill and it turned out to be laced with fentanyl. You hear those stories day after day. So they're going to be ready for that. We're going to have to take this fight head on. And you know, I think it's going to be very interesting to see how quickly we can get through the painful part of it, to see the benefits of it. And we're already seeing it as you just had in that last segment. We're seeing the benefits of it right now with they're not bringing the fentanyl through and across the border. But no one ever said this was going to be easy. We were born thankfully in this period to usher in a great future for our children and, and be part of it. And it means there's going to be sacrifice and difficulty still going forward. But I think President Trump has an incredible plan. You can't doubt him because he's been so successful. Let's see where this goes. I think the people of Arizona are ready for whatever comes their way. It's that important.

Keep in mind with Michael Pack, President Trump nominated him to be the CEO for US Agency for Global Media. Congress did not, the Senate did not confirm him for three and a half years. They dragged it out for three and a half years. They finally got him in there and he saw, he started to look under the hood and see how corrupt it was, what a national security threat this agency was. And they were absolutely panicked when Joe Biden, quote, unquote, won the election. And you know how I feel about that. And got into office. His very first interview he did, before he got into office, he said, the first person I'm gonna fire is Michael Pack. Now think about that. Think about all the people that he probably wanted to take out that were Trump appointees and Trump had put into place. The very first person Joe Biden wanted to get rid of was this guy who's heading up this little agency for global media that tells you how powerful this agency is. And in the four years during Biden, they spen time Trump proofing it, they took all of these grantees, they made it so their contracts were had zero transparency. We can't see how the money is being spent. Half of our agency's budget goes to these grantees. And we can't see how the money's being spent. It comes into our agency and we have to just flush it right back out to them, no questions asked. I think the taxpayer deserves to know where their money is. President Trump wants to know where the money is going. That's why he wants it boiled down to its statutory minimum. That's what we're working at. But we've got judges in Washington, D.C. and the Southern District of New York fighting us.

It was just to strengthen me because right now, everything, all of the hardships that I dealt with in those amazing runs for office and campaigning, I'm using all of those skill right now because we're having lawfare, we're having judges that we obviously don't agree with. Look at these judges trying to basically take the power away from the executive branch and, you know, the attacks in the media. It's just so amazing, though, to watch how the media is transforming. The media landscape is transforming and these, these, the mainstream media is being pushed aside. The truth is getting out this fight. We are winning it. I just don't want people to lose hope or to say, oh, I'm just, I'm too tired right now. This is when we have to get the gas and push forward.

The New York Times reported yesterday about two firings recently at the Department of Justice. The headline reads, white House takes highly unusual step of directly firing line prosecutors. Quoting now, two longtime career prosecutors have been suddenly fired by the White House. And what current and former Justice Department officials called an unusual and alarming exercise of presidential power. According to the Times, the prosecutors from Los Angeles and Memphis were each dismissed with one sentence, emails giving no reason other than it was on behalf of the President himself. Now, the president, as you know, is two months into effort to use the power of his office against his former prosecutors, judges in the legal establishment, whether to advance administration policy, or in some cases, as apparent retribution for prosecuting him. His campaign against big law firms began with an executive order attacking a firm called Paul Weiss, after which it basically caved, cutting a deal to do $40 million in pro bono work for causes supported by the White House. Now, that was a first. The latest is Skadden Arps, which made a deal with the White House to the tune of $100 million. He's also gone after two firms that participated in investigations of him, Jenner and Block and Wilmer Hale. But it's the Scabbin deal, which proved too much for one former associate who quit in protest and said, why? Quoting now from Brenna frase, posting on LinkedIn. And today, the executive partner of my former firm sent us all an update that attempted to convince some of the best minds in the legal profession that he did us a solid by capitulating to the Trump administration's demands for fealty and protection money. Ms. Fray goes on to say, as one of my more eloquent former colleagues put it, do not pretend that what is happening is normal or excusable. It isn't. As an attorney, if my employer cannot stand up for the rule of law, then I cannot ethically continue. Continue to work for them. Now, on Friday, without naming the president, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor also spoke about the current campaign against the legal system.

The next target needs to be Latham and Watkins, formerly I think an LA firm that now is a powerhouse. Latham and Watkins. And it needs to be Latham and Watkins. And the Carlyle Group would have that corrupt David Rubenstein, who President Trump just threw out of the Kennedy Center. That needs to be a target. That's a rat's nest over there. The Carlyle Group and Latham and Watkins, you must go after that. We need to go on offense, offense, offense. Fight, fight, fight. Action, action, action on this. Brother Comstock's up.
