Today is a huge, huge, it's somber. It's actually a very somber day because 250 years of sacrifice, of all the things that so many people gave all the way back to the very foundation of this country before we even had a, you know, really a constitution per se, that was, that was in the works. So we have men and women serving in the United States army in about 180 countries I know right now, and certainly some of them are in harm's way tonight in different parts of the world. So very, it's a somber day for me. It's a good day. You know, I wish everybody that served in the United States Army a sort of a happy birthday, if you will, and know to keep your bayonet sharp because that's the other part of being in the army or being a veteran is we've got to maintain, you know, who we are and what we're all about as a nation. And our nation is under attack right now.

Do you agree with that headline? Is this just a surgical strike to take out the nuclear processing and nuclear bomb making capability of the Persians, or do you believe that this is actually igniting a broader war in the Middle East? General Flynn?

Yeah, this is a much broader war and I'd like to bring people's attention to my post on X this morning. The last couple of days I've been putting out these updates and go to @ Jen Flynn. Gen Flynn. So, yes, this is a much broader struggle and in terms of Israel, Israel has finally gotten to the stage and I mean, talk about extraordinary strategic patience and combined with exquisite intelligence for years that have been in the works to include people on the ground, you know, physical military capabilities and intelligence capabilities, but also human intelligence sources and networks. And this is also a warning to the rest of the Arab world what Israel is doing to Iran right now. Trust me, the Israelis will protect and defend themselves to survive. So this is a broader regional war. As I laid out this morning, the regional.

Hold on, hang on. General Flynn, hang on, hang on a second. You say protect themselves. Correct me if I'm wrong. They went on this solo, right, didn't tell us. There's some discussion about that. But they made a unilateral decision. But the assumption of that is that America was going to be all the air defense is not a big part of the air defense, including Arleigh Burke class cruisers in the Eastern med. Right now predicated upon America's involvement as a combatant in this. Right now, sir?

Yeah. I mean, yes. So the answer to that, Steve, the big answer is yes. I mean, when we provide part of that intelligence capability, whether it's, you know, land based, you know, space based. So that intelligence capability puts us in a camp in the Israeli camp. And to me, rightly so. I mean, I don't have any issues with that because what we're talking about is a, is a nation. And now I'm talking about Iran, who you don't have.

Hang on, hang on. You don't have a problem with somebody saying unilaterally, you have a, you have a negotiating process, whether it was working or not. President Trump said it's making progress. Let's have another meeting on Sunday. All right. And obviously he said a 60 day and it was beyond the 61st, but he had Wyckoff and these guys going to a Muscat in Oman to sit down for another six or seven. Oman, another sixth or seventh round. The Israelis are up front. They made a unilateral decision to go. Once you make a unilateral decision to go, aren't all bets off. Because if you let people make like the Ukrainians last week attacked the Russians, if you, if you let these guys make unilateral decisions, you're automatic. We don't have a treaty. We don't have a treaty with Israel. We don't have a treaty unlike NATO where we actually have a treaty. Who's got Article 5? One attacked, all attack. We don't have a treaty with Ukraine. We don't have a treaty with, with, with Israel. We have a special relationship. But isn't that special relationship put on hold if they make a unilateral decision? Because then you're allowing somebody, it's, that's wag the dog. You're allowing them to draw you in as a combatant. Is that not correct?

Yeah. So the big, the big word that you use there is if. So first of all I want people to understand is Iran was probably days away from matching the capabilities from, from ballistic missile capabilities with a nuclear Iranian enriched warhead. Days away. If they were in that period, you know, since we, and we've all been talking about this, Steve, for a long time, we have a psychotic regime and most of whom their leadership has been taken out. And I am, and I posted this morning that I have reports that the Ayatollah may have been wounded in one of those strikes. So that's, you know, that's out there. So we have a psychotic regime that has not only talked about the annihilation of the nation state of Israel, but also talked about how we as the Great Satan need to be annihilated from the planet. So these are, these are psychotic leaders. I have video now that has been sent to me from inside of Iran that shows the people of Iran celebrating this attack by the Israelis. Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon, period. Now back to your, your bigger question about, you know, was this a unilateral effort? I think that whoever's using those words needs to really rethink those and be very careful about who's using them. If that's the, if it's the Israeli regime or the, I'm sorry, if it's the Israelis that are using it, then, you know, we have to be suspect because if we're providing intelligence, and we are, then we are then, you know, not, not implied but specifically involved in supporting the attack itself. So, so there's, there's a broader regional conflict that is playing out right now. The other part that I did not add in this morning that I think people need to be aware of, because I'm going to be, you know, carrying this later today or tomorrow is what's China's role? Because the Chinese are the biggest beneficiary right now of what is happening globally, specifically in the region of the Middle east, because of their One Belt initiative. And they have massive amounts of resources that flow into Africa, flow into Europe, and flow back through the, the Persian Gulf and back through Iran. So China is a big beneficiary. And for President Trump recently to have cut a deal with Xi where I guess he's going to continue to allow Chinese students that are into our universities who are ripping us off every single day of intellectual property. And going back, we spend 10 billion on a, on a weapon system, they spend 100 million. I mean, because they got the blueprints. I mean, so there's some things that are happening that we all need to understand globally.

How many years, how many years of your life did you give? How many years did you actually serve, not just in the military, but in deployment forward, deployed into war zones in the Middle East, Iraq and Afghanistan? How many years?

I have five years in direct combat operations of my life.

And you became, you were the senior intelligence officer and actually when intelligence was active is actually almost like paramilitary in Afghanistan, is that correct, sir?

Yeah, Afghanistan and Iraq and East Africa. That's right. That's right. We did, we did a lot of reforms to the, to the US Intelligence system in order to be able to destroy terrorist networks, Al Qaeda, principally, and then, of course, Al Qaeda and Iraq Al Qaeda.

And that's how you. And you were selected. You were selected. It was kind of a surprise selection because of your efforts in actually making it what we call actionable intelligence. You were then selected to be head of Defense Intelligence Agency, correct? The senior.

Yeah, that's right. That's right. Senior military intelligence officer in the Department of Defense, heading up one of the largest intelligence agencies in the world. The other thing in between, fighting on the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan, Steve, I also served as the head of intelligence for all of us Central Command. And at that time, we were 27 nations, all of East Africa, from Egypt down to Somalia, east all the way over to Pakistan and the Central Asian state. So I have a lot of experience in this region. A lot. And that region matters. Yeah, go ahead.

And how many. And how many close colleagues Today, on the 250th anniversary of the army, how many close colleagues did you lose in combat, either KIA or injured, such that it dramatically Changed their lives. How many gave all or were wounded horribly in those many years in combat that you served?

Oh my God, Steve. I mean, you know, most. I mean too many, too many. And the numbers are beyond what. And that's why I say, you know, I'm not anti war, but I'm anti stupid war. And so the United States of America.

I don't want to walk you into a trap here, so I'm going to get to the punchline. I think you would agree that the beginning of both those conflicts, you know, even in Afghanistan, where we kind of secured what we needed to secure quickly but couldn't get Osama bin Laden, and then we tried to have a democracy project which you had to bear the burden of. And as you remember when you were national Security Advisor, one of our highest priorities as the president is let's get out of Afghanistan. Not like Biden got out, but an orderly way, a smart way. But in Iraq with the weapons of mass destruction, all that nonsense, these were wars we kind of got into. And you know, 10, 15, 20 years later, we're still in them. My question about this is precision of language and action. I feel very uncomfortable because guess what, as you know better than anybody, General Flynn, Persia ain't Iraq and Persia is not Afghanistan. This is the same power that went up against the Greeks and the Roman Empire 5,000 years ago. Okay? This is an ancient civilization to get involved in a war. As the Financial Times of London says, and you agree with, and we agree here with poso. This is the beginning of a potential war. We need to be precise to know that the Israelis determined on their own. And now let's talk about the bait and switch. It's just not about going after the nuclear command structure, all that. This was a decapitation they attempted a decapitation for regime change. I have no problem with that. If that jump in here. I have no problem with that if they're going to take the whole thing and then we make a decision independently. Oh yes, maybe we do share intelligence. Maybe we'd get the Arleigh Burke's over to protect Tel Aviv right now, I'll be blunt. This is just as sloppy, just as ill thought through, just as lack of precision as Afghanistan. How we started there in Iraq, as we started there and quite frankly, the Fox News team and the pom poms up, we played on the cold open the other day. Shock and awe. Shock and awe. Shock and awe. When Fox was up there with the pom poms, we are, we are inexorably drawn into A conflict that we're not making clear decisions about now. If we, if we're going to be in this.

If you were advising the president, you would tell him today in all the celebration, all the commemoration, you've got to come to the podium, you have to address the American people. What would you recommend that the President, United States tell the American people, sir?

Yeah, so I, you know, he needs to bring in some really key advisors and he needs to develop a couple of overarching strategic objectives of what America is doing. And I'm talking about for the Middle east, for Eastern Europe, for the home front, for China, all the things that he's been talking about for the last couple of months and certainly what he campaigned on. He needs to give clear, very clear objectives and he needs to do that like tonight. I mean, he should address the nation in a very sort of State of the Union type address because there is a war footing. And I want, I want to be very clear with your audience and Congress, who still doesn't get it and the establishment, they still don't get it. We're in a full blown Marxist revolution here at home and abroad. And it is very clear to me. So the president needs to have objectives that talk about what are the things that we are trying to achieve in the Middle east, what are the things that we are trying to achieve in, in, in Europe, what are the things that we are trying to achieve against this adversary called China. And I'm talking about not, you know, we're going to make a deal, we're going to do this. It's going to be great. No, these have got to be very clear things that are common sense. And the American people go, okay, Mr. President, we're with you. So, I mean, he's got a smart team, he's a smart guy. You know, he's got great advisors around him. Your question at the beginning, following your logic, then President Trump is essentially saying we're going to get involved in another Mideast war. I'm just connecting all your logical comments. You're saying when he addresses the nation, since Israel is bound and determined to do this, that you just agreed that they can't do it without our involvement, direct involvement, then his address to the nation is, prepare us to get involved in A extended Middle east war on a foe that is an ancient civilization. This is not Iraq, it's not Afghanistan. This is Persia. Am I correct?

So there's going to be some really smart dialogue here. And we've got to be very careful because the wolf, Steve, as you know, and you've talked about this a lot, the wolf that's inside the henhouse is China. And China is the one thing that gives me that if I lose sleep at night or I wake up in the middle of the night, you know, it's thinking, holy crap. It's all, it's about China. And that's what I. Strategically, that's where my head stays. Because they're the ones that want to have the 21st century as the Chinese century period.

We saw the assassination of two Israeli Embassy officials outside of the Jewish Museum by a member of the Party for Socialism and Liberation in Washington, D.C. who shouted Free Palestine while he was wearing a keffiyeh. And that's exactly what is happening today. You have a group called Refuse Fascism that is busing people in from mosques and from community organizer locations in New York City. And in about 30 minutes, those buses are going to arrive here, here in our nation's capitals, and they're going to march towards the White House to create chaos and incite violence against President Trump and his supporters who have decided to come here today to celebrate President Trump's birthday, Flag day, and the 250th birthday of the US Army.

And One of the reasons why I think that they're planning on doing something violent is because, look, let's be honest, most of the security is going to be focused on our nation's capitol today because it's where President Trump is going to be. They're having a military parade, and you're going to have mags, and you're going to have Secret Service, Capitol Police, FBI. Right. You're going to have all types of security officials here protecting the president. Especially right now with these airstrikes between Israel and Iran. We know that the Iranians have made multiple attempts on President Trump's life. And so we have these proxies here in the United States who could be activated or feel inclined to mobilize. Right. As lone wolves or as a coordinated terror cell. We, we know from Tom Homan that Hamas and Hezbollah have terror cells in all 50 states here in our country. And I had Tom Homan on my show the other day, and we were talking about the 2 million getaways. Nobody knows who these people are. Right. They're not necessarily Hispanic illegals. No. A lot of these people are Atlanta jihadists and people who are likely on the terror watch list who came into our country and they decided to come in in a roundabout manner without detection, precisely because they wanted to not be detected, not because they thought it would be easier for them to stay in our country. A lot of illegal aliens came in, they were detected, and they're still living amongst us. They haven't been deported, and they were given assistance by the Biden administration. As we've seen, these people made a deliberate choice to not be detected because they want to carry out acts of care. And Tom Homan said on my show, he said it multiple times in other interviews, that this is what keep up at night is the fact that we don't know who these people are. And many of these people are Iranian proxies who are living in our cities. They are amongst you at your grocery store, at your community centers. We just saw a Muslim Brotherhood terrorist, Mohammed Soleiman, get activated in Colorado two weeks ago. And now you're having renewed discussions about designating the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization.

So this is the best part, by the way, when I love when, when, when mayorkas would come out and say we don't have any assessments of that or, or Ray will come out. We don't have assessments. And then you go and you get the actual files and they talk about the exact same stuff that you're seeing right here on the war room because they know these are the real threats. And so they're. Is the basic assessment of the fighters, of the war fighters that are in the region is that these wars have never stopped and we're actually engaging in a war right now, sir. The folks in, not just in Kuwait, but are actually in country in places like Iraq, Syria.

Yeah, yeah. That's the assessment. They really haven't. We still have guys in Syria. We have guys in Iraq. You know, we're still giving 40. What is it, billion or billion dollars a week. I think it's 40 million a week to the Taliban still. And you're absolutely right that this operation by Israel is messy, it's sloppy, just like the exit out of Afghanistan. And I agree with General Flynn on the point that Trump needs to get on the air and lay out the objectives of this operation with which we know our regime change. Right. It's not just a simple strike to disable nuclear facility like Israel did to Iraq. This, this is a very extensive operation. This is, this is your, is this.

This is your professional, you've done a lot of this paramilitary like the Mossad did going in. This is your professional opinion, right? Your professional opinion when you assess what you're seeing is, is that this was definitely a decapitation strike.

Oh, yeah, 100%, yeah. Yeah. They took out the general staff, they took out the scientists, they're taking out the, the heavy water facilities, are taking out the enrichment facilities. It's not, it's not just a simple quick get in, get out. This is war. And Iran has declared war on Israel. And I just saw a post on X saying that they're preparing the largest drone and missile strike in the history. So we'll see. But I don't think this is going to be a quick thing. One and done and it's over and we're going to move forward. This is going to get ugly. And Trump already committed to protecting Israel at all costs. So let's, let's, let's hope this doesn't drag us into another war because this is not what we voted for. We voted for peace. And that's, that's what Trump ran on was ending the war in Ukraine Ending this conflict between Israel and Gaza. Now it's Israel and Iran. So it's just, it's ramping up and it's going to escalate and it's going to get out of control because Israel can, Israel is a small country. They can't stand these strikes, these ballistic missiles. Iran is overwhelming Israel's air defenses. They're shooting salvos of 50 ballistic missiles at a time. And those ballistic missiles have decoy warheads that they can deploy just like a helicopter or a fighter jet deploys chaff. So each missile is actually like a multiplier, like equivalent of two or three missiles because they have decoys on them and we're shooting them down. Our Navy shoot them down. Jordan shooting them down. United Emirates shooting them down. The Europeans have aircraft in the air shooting these missiles down. It's, it's a large endeavor to defend Israel against these ballistic missile attacks.

This, this is my problem with this. It's not a unilateral. They did it with the predicate that the American, they want to have a.

There's going to be a counter strike. And also I think we need to be very precise, General, just go through what General Flynn said. If we are going to get into a war the the west, and that would be the United States. If we're going to get into a war with the Persians, we have to be very precise with the American people of ex. Well, I think General Flynn is correct when he says that we are being pulled into this war, that we are being pulled in, and that's exactly what's going on. Because this is not what the American people voted for, this not what President Trump campaigned on. I was with him when he went to those campaign rallies in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, all of when you up in front of the auto workers. He didn't say we're going to go to war. No. He said we're going to go to economic war against Chinese Communist Party. We're going to fight for your jobs. But we also said is we're not going to send your boys to go over and die in some desert for some country that doesn't have a direct ability to threaten us. We, we don't have, they don't have the ICBMs, they don't have the ability to strike the homeland. This is about putting the homeland first and putting America first. So do we have allies?

We have allies. We have great allies all over the world. South Korea is an ally, Japan's an ally, Taiwan's an ally, Israel's an ally. We get all that. And that's why I think the President has very smartly, very smartly kept the United States out of direct engagement in this fight.

You're talking about direct combat sorties. What they're pitching is they want a mess. They're telling President Trump behind the scenes the only way they can actually take out the rest of the nuclear facilities and the command and control structure to finish the decapitation. They need direct involvement of American combat fighters. Right. They need a direct involvement of American combat sorties. Correct.

Keep in mind those, those Arleigh Burkes also have the capability to launch cruise missiles.

So they've got cruise missiles. And you've got people, these like the great heroes like Taj and all of his brothers that are still in harm's way that are sitting there going, wait, what's going on here, Taj?

Do any of the guys that, you know, the men and women that were the tip of the spear, do any of them want us to get back into a gunfight in the Middle east, sir?

But there's still guys all over the Middle east and they're, they're doing not a lot like guys are over there scuba diving and stuff like that. Like it's a way, it's a waste of, for deploying our men over there. If they're gonna be a be over there, use them and let them do what they're trained for. And you can't win if this escalates into a full scale war. You can't win it with, with air, airplanes and missiles alone. You have to put boots on the ground. And that's what we don't want. And if we do get sucked into something where we have to put boots on the Ukraine, then Trump, Trump should charge them just like, just like we're charging for tariffs. He should tell Israel, hey, it's 10, it's $10 trillion. Pay off our national debt. If you want us to defend your airspace. If you want us to put boots on the ground in Iran, then pay off our national debt completely. 35 trillion and we'll win this war for you. Otherwise, do it yourself. Just like the terrorists. We should start charging these people. No more freebies.

Come, come back to a second. I want to go back to boots on the ground with all the air great air theoreticians of the 20th century, even bombing Nazi Germany and the industrial strength of Germany to the ground. We're getting ready to invade with 4 million people and take a million casualties. Eventually you have to put combat troops on the ground to win. And particularly a nation like Persia.

Even with all the technology we have in space base and laser base and hyperspace base and whatever Elon's got, it still comes down to boots on the ground.
