A blockbuster story that has heads here in Washington spinning. The Wall Street Journal reported on a collection of birthday letters gifted to Jeffrey Epstein in 2003, three years before he was charged with any crimes. One of those letters, the Journal says it includes, would what appears to be Donald Trump's signature. And it's a cryptically written letter, a crude drawing of a nude woman done with a heavy marker. The President quickly denied it was him and says he'll sue the Rupert Murdoch owned paper. But the politics here are complicated. Yes, it looks bad for the President, but. But it also may unite the movement that has been fractured over the Epstein saga. Even those critical of President Trump's handling of the Epstein files are rallying against their common enemy, the media.

Quite frankly, the Murdochs concocted something last night and thought it'd be a kill shot on President Trump. And lo and behold, it's the exact opposite because President Trump is now on offense. President Trump is best when it's attack, attack, attack. This is the deep state. This is the ruling class in America. Look, I can't be clear enough about this. We didn't know that there was an FBI investigation of Trump. I didn't. President Obama didn't like we don't. We actually abided by the firewalls between if there were any investigations that took place. Those decisions were made in the Justice Department, in the FBI, not in the White House. They will find nothing that suggests that there was any political White House involvement in any of that. Literally. I learned about the FBI investigation in Trump as a private citizen in the frickin Washington Post like so, like this. You have to understand that we actually abided by the long standing practice of the White House not getting involved in that kind of stuff.

MAGA and Donald Trump are finally on offense. This is what they texted, what he texted CNN this morning. President Trump has had enough and is fighting back against his real enemies. Good start. But stay on offense. It's when Trump is at his best. Attack, attack, attack. Trump is attacking the Wall Street Journal right now. He's trying to rally his supporters around this idea that, that he is being assailed by the fake news. Once again, that has been an effective strategy for Donald Trump over the years. If, if the news reports on it, if journalists reports report on something, he turns it right around and has been able to inoculate himself by saying they're all a bunch of scammers and liars.

I think we're pushing up against the edges of his ability to direct attention and control these news cycles. I mean the thing about this story is that it doesn't go away. But also this story is a huge part of the myth of Donald Trump, the thing that he has sold his supporters to since even before QAnon or all of this sort of online pedophile ring drama and conspiracy. He has been someone who has said, we're going to champion your ideas. We are going to stand up against the causes that, against the injustices of the world. And this idea of this child sex trafficking, of this Epstein theory and the idea of transparency with the files, this is core to the promise he's made to the, the myth of himself and his administration that he has sold people. And so there's almost no way to go on the offensive there because this whole thing is him being defensive. He's having to sort of, you know, backtrack or deflect against this thing that he has sold himself as being, which is this crusader against, you know, this particular injustice.

It is Friday, the 18th of July, year of our Lord 2025. Just hitting the wire as we come on here this moment. Trump files defamation lawsuit against Wall Street Journal over Epstein report. We've got but bigger news. Tulsi Gabbard, the DNI under President Trump dropped a thermonuclear weapon today on the deep state. We've been talking about this for a while. It finally dropped and it dwarfed any of the potshots that the Murdoch organization are taking. I got Jack Posoba, Caroline Wren, Loomer, join us at the bottom of the hour. Jack. So Posobic, President Trump's going on offense, right? He's going on offense against all of it. The biggest part of the offense is not even going to part of. He's obviously going to the judge to bring the files forward to do the grand jury testimonies. We said. But what we've talked about of the overall attacking the deep state comes with a bombshell today from Tulsi Gabbard. Can you walk us through just what the facts are of what got released? It has Washington D.C. now scurrying.

Steve, what DNI Gabbard has released here, and this is chapter and verse, is nothing short of an actual intel community bombshell that really goes back I would say even, even we haven't seen anything like this since the days of curveball in the Iraq war. The lies about getting the United States into Iraq with the group with the wmd, fake intelligence. This is even worse than that because what she's found and what her team has found over there in the intel community and you know, I had the opportunity, I saw her speak at Turning Point last week and you know, you got this sense that something big was coming. Her team was telling us something big was coming. And it's as simple as this. We remember with this intellicommunity assessment that go and go all the way back to 2016, one of the first inklings that that the Russiagate hoax would be coming full circle was this intel community assessment that was created and leaked almost instantaneously in December of 2016 saying that Russia had intervened on behalf of of Donald Trump in the 2016 election. This was assessed by the intel community. I was a member of the intel community at the time. I had the opportunity to read both the unclassified portion of it as well as the classified portion of it. I didn't find either of them to be particularly compelling. But now we find that that's because that wasn't the original report. The original report of the intel community assessment, which DNI Gabbard has published now and declassified in full for the first time ever, said that Russia and in fact no one, interfered in the 2016 election. That assessment was shelved. It was trashed because of political considerations. And then there's hundreds of files of emails and responses back and forth as well as this meeting that was held just weeks after the election where the President United States meets with the National Security Council and the heads of the top intel agencies to decide what the new assessment is should read. Steve, I've never seen anything like this.

This is absolutely. We put in there the Ben Rhodes I guess podcast or the bald faced lie of Ben Rhodes. Caroline Wren how big a deal is this? Because here you have and this is why we asked Jack to vet them. These aren't only part of these are IC documents. These are really emails and directives from the political side directing the intelligence community to come to a conclusion that will form the predicate for the Russia hoax and the Mueller Commission. The Mueller investigation, Correct.

Yes. And that clip you played in the opening, I mean, that was Obama's US Deputy National Security Adviser for Communications, Ben Rhodes, who was saying in an interview that he and Obama and all White House, you know, political officials had no idea about the Russia gay investigation while working in the White House and that he only found out about it from the Washington Post as a private citizen. Well, in those documents that Tulsi put out today and the meeting that Jack just described there, that meeting took place on December 9th in the white House. Ben Rhodes was in that meeting. So he not only did they know about it ahead of time, they came up with the plan in that meeting in the White House. He lied and said he found out as a private citizen. The whole interview was an absolute lie and it is just a disgrace. And even worse, Tulsi put out more info that afternoon is when the Washington Post report started to come out and the leaks about Russiagate. So they literally left that meeting with the national security team where they came up with this plan. And then Ben Rhodes and Lisa Monaco, who was also in the meeting and Julie Kelly reported this earlier, then just went and started briefing reporters and, you know, just drop off, dumping all what were absolutely lies.

Jack, also remember towards. It was around Thanksgiving off of this initial report that showed there was nothing there. They ordered home what the most Russian officials ever is bigger than the Cold War. I think there were 73 officials. Now we understand that there was nothing there. They lied to the American people. They lied to the Russian government. They lied. They caused a diplomatic crisis on what is now obviously a lie. Because what they were trying to do, everything they did, the Crossfire hurricane and all of that to stop Trump to actually win in 16 after he won, right. And the Electoral College is about to meet, then they were. This is the beginning of the nullification project, right? To basically smear Trump in front of the world and or remove him, try to remove him from office, Sir.

Steve, this goes deeper than I think anyone realized. And you're exactly right, because not only did it start this diplomatic row between the United States and Russia, it can only be viewed as a hostile act by a foreign government. If you are on the Russian side. Keep in mind this is just two years after the overthrow of the government in Ukraine with US Intelligence backing. And so to the Russians, this, this may have very well set in motion the events that led to the Ukraine war, the events that led to all of these things going on, this horrific killing that we see now. And by the way, it was none other than Jake Sullivan himself, who was one of the very originators of the Russiagate hoax back when he was on the Hillary campaign. Back then. We know all of his deep ties to Ben Rhodes and this entire group of people that was in the meeting there on December 9th. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Jake Sullivan, Ben Rhodes and the entire Hillary Obama team together work to push this thing forward.

Now, this also is the reason, remember, part of the, part of the overall geo strategic outlook was to try to do a rapprochement with Russia, to do reverse what Nixon had done, to basically pull Russia out of the orbit of the Chinese Communist Party and do a true pivot to Asia where we can confront the Chinese Communist Party with Russia either as a neutral or some sort of assistant, just like Nixon pulled China to his side to begin the process of taking down the Soviet Union. This has massive geopolitical implications. It's had huge implications on our defense budget, our spending, the Ukraine, war, all of it. This is the railhead. And this is why Tulsi is so brave to put this forward. And you're going to see these people avoid this and try to avoid it. It is our responsibility to drive the story just like auto pen in this. They want to avoid this. They can't avoid this. This is treason. This is where they made things up, the politicals made things up, worked with the intelligence community to try to terminate, try to terminate Trump's presidency. This is where they went against the will of the American people. This is the whole point. We've been talking about the deep state and actors like Obama and Hillary Clinton, okay? So the person that is now your successor, you're directing it and it says over and over in these documents. And you could see it where, because what, and it's so smart what, what DNI Gabbard has done here because she's released all of it. So she says it, she's got the press release, she has the executive summary, but she provides you all the backing documents as much as possible. And it says very clearly, per the direction of the President of the United States, so per the direction of Barack Obama, following this meeting, you are now to create this new, this new assessment. And Steve, by the way, we've got emails in here. I'm just going through it, but you can see responses from the analysts. This is the Technology Cyber Intel Unit, the cyber intelligence officials at the FBI coming up and responding to Clapper's team and saying, wait a minute, you know, listen to this. We would prefer the first sentence regarding Russia's intent to be softened. The way it currently reads it would indicate we have definite information that Russia does intend to disrupt our elections. And we are uncomfortable making that assessment. That's from the FBI in 2016. But that's below the level. That's the actual intelligence analysts. Way below the comey level, way below. Clapper and Brennan over at dnr, previous DNI and previous CIA, where the people who are actually doing the work says, wait, we don't have the evidence, we don't have the evidence to back this up. And you are directing us to make this requirement. We don't feel comfortable doing it. And they did it anyway. And we know later that Brennan went and hand selected the people that would put together this completely fake assessment. And he led the entire. He may. He could have started World War 3 with this.

Along with the rushed version of this debacle by the Wall Street Journal was that to get ahead, because people knew that this was going to happen. People were working on this. They had a meeting on Sunday that we actually talked about where they went through this information. It was going to be in the first tranche, and this is only the first tranche. Do you believe that Murdoch, working with the deep State, tried to get ahead of this with the Journal and also Obama to try to take the heat off him? Did the put out the video that he and Michelle are still married?

Of course he did. That's what Obama and his team does. And in fact, I was just thinking about this, Steve, if you remember, what was the one thing that Obama asked President Trump to do? This was right before he's gonna be inaugurated, when they have their private meeting, the one thing Obama said to Trump was do not hire Michael Flynn. Well, I think we just learned why, because I'm quite certain Michael Flynn probably would have been all over this, on top of it and exposed this. And so it is just so glaring to be now thinking back to that being the one ask from Obama to Trump, don't bring in Flynn.

Hold it. And when they brought. And when we brought him in, they took him out in the first 30 days. That was their priority, to send the FBI over to concoct something. He was lying. Ma', am, this is why personnel decisions matter. Sticking with those decision matters. That's why this is a much better, I would say, cabinet. And I'm. I'm very happy with how things are going right now in the Trump administration. Now, I know people are getting frustrated saying, I want this and this. These things do take a little bit of time, but we've given them time. It's been six months. And now, as you said, this is the tip of the iceberg. Tulsi Gabbard, I think, is a rock star. And I think we are going to see a lot, a lot more coming out from Tulsi and, you know, working with other rock stars like Cash Patel and others in this admin. I mean, the intelligence community just admitted that Obama and the White House staff pushed the Russia hoax to sabotage Trump. That the intel community knew about it and helped cover all this up, that the Steele dossier was fake. I mean, the intel community just had to really fall in the store because Tulsi Gabbard said, I'm not allowing this to stay transparent or not be transparent. I also love that she didn't just leak this to one media outlet to do a story. She just put it out there and said, you know what, here it is, here's all the information and you all go do your jobs and write about this. Now we'll see if they actually will. It's the corporate media.

Because the pdb, it doesn't just go to the President. That's what everyone has to understand. It goes to senior members of the government, it goes to senior members of the military, it goes throughout the ic. There are various versions of it that can be read. The President's version, of course, is the most highly classified. And then if you go dig deeper into it, you can get into other levels of compartmentalization because the President's the one. He's supposed to be able to see everything that's in there. They withheld the PDB so that they could set us up this way. And by the way, email after email in here says this is potus.

They didn't do the President's daily briefing because they knew we got. The president elect gets the same briefing that the President states in transition. Okay? They withheld it. This is how duplicitous they are. This is how guilty they are. Ben Rhodes, Obama, all of them are going to rot in a fricking prison. And this is why we got to get on top of this. This is the deep state. This is the coup against Trump. You can see it all right there. Jack, how are people going to get their arms around this? How do we propose to do this? I think that we also learned that maybe from Laura Loomer, who's become a pivotal figure almost in the kind of role that Steve Bannon was in when he left the first Trump term but continued to stay closely connected from the outside. What is your sense of where this is heading in terms of that power center shifting to Laura Limmer?

Yeah, I mean, look, she's going to, she's going to her presence is going to increase. She's going to, you know, she's going to continue to have to shape the contours of the administration, especially on some of these big things. And she's been playing that role, you know, on and off for a while now. And each time her influence gets slightly larger and she gets more connected to parts of the right wing echo chamber that then either sound more like her or parrot her. It's very weird for Megyn Kelly, for example, this time around to be sounding and echoing things that Laura Loomer had been saying, even though they're obviously both on the right. Megyn Kelly usually doesn't sound like Laura Loomer. And yet for the last couple of weeks she has. And that's an example of the type of influence that somebody like Bloomer has when people are parroting that. So I don't think that goes away. I think, in fact, I think her, her attacks get sharper and more focused on individuals as she continues to try to use that as a vehicle to driving out people. And in terms of the larger dynamics, a few things happened here that I think are worth noting. And it gets to this question, J.D. vance, the Vice president, part of his role does seem to be to be the guy online helping, you know, not be an assignment editor of sorts, but to help indicate what things are talking about and to combat or defend the administration or advocate for the administration's policies or politics. He wasn't doing that for the past two weeks. If you look at his Twitter account, he doesn't talk about Epstein. He wasn't doing the thing that he normally does that created a bit of a vacuum. And what I found really notable about the last 24 hours is that he's been back engaged again. He's been the one helping really focus the fire on the Wall Street Journal and trying to deflect or draw attention away from, you know, what is the core issue here of the transparency. But how that relates to the question is that it seems like for a moment, when he didn't fill his role, other people then had an inflation of their roles, and Laura Loomer was one of the beneficiaries of that. Charlie Kirk's role was relatively static. Steve Bannon still has the clearest narrative in worldview, and I think that his function as a lighthouse isn't going to change. But as somebody who's operating and in that lighthouse for a couple hours a day, that's the role that Laura Bloomer is going to play going forward. And what that means for all of us is that it gets worse for all of us, because she will consistently, she will push the boundaries so far, and she doesn't care if she doesn't get 80% or 60% of what she wants. Her entire theory of change appears to be to move the center, to move the Overton window further and further and further to the right. And that is the real effect of Laura Loomer being a part of all of this and her ability to step in in these moments, to fill the voids left by people that, like J.D. vance, that had not been filling their normal functions.

And they tried to defame President Trump, mock President Trump. They said that he was crazy, saying that he was making things up, talking about this spy ring. And now Tulsi Gabbard has proven it today with the receipts. We love the receipts, right? She didn't just announce this. She actually showed the receipts on a Twitter thread. And everybody can see for themselves. It's just open source. And that's the type of transparency that President Trump's administration is delivering. And it's quite unprecedented. I'd say that this is the most transparent administration in US History. Of course, we had a little bit of a fumble with Blondie and the Epstein debacle, but the media is so desperate to focus on Jeffrey Epstein. And I think, I honestly wonder if it's because maybe somebody at dni, perhaps there may have been a leak to let them know that something like this was coming. Because it seems like there was a very coordinated effort, a kind of drumroll effect to create this hoax. As President Trump said, they accused him yesterday of sending Jeffrey Epstein some weird gay kind of love letter, poem, happy birthday message. I don't know, it was just very. It was just very homoerotic.

Attorney General Pam Bondi has formally submitted a Court motion to unseal the grand jury testimony related to Jeffrey Epstein. So they've made that request. It's up to the court. It's obvious they tried to get ahead of this bombshell day because this shows that the receipts and this is why Kelsey put it out so smartly just on Twitter, so everybody can read it, everybody can see it, put out the original documents that shows a coup, a well thought through coup against president, a vast criminal conspiracy against President Trump to try to destroy his first term and get him impeached and rolled out. And they try to get ahead of this with this bogus Wall Street Journal story. And this, folks, is why I was attacking the Murdochs years ago when nobody else would stand up to him. Everybody's afraid and wet themselves and afraid they're not going to get on Fox and not going to get on the Hannity show, et cetera. Well, you don't need to do that if the guy's totally evil. And I hope with this massive lawsuit that President Trump just filed, Murdoch's own lawyers won't let him talk to President Trump because they're in a lawsuit. Laura Loomer, the key to this is that they lied about all this stuff with Russia to prevent us from actually getting a rapprochement with Russia and pivoting like Nixon did in reverse against the Chinese Communist Party, which is the main thing, the existential threat to our nation. Well, it was Barack Hussein Obama. And so it's the first time that this whistleblower is going public with this information. The ProPublica report was okay, but it barely scratched the surface of how sinister this is. And I had a two hour sit down exclusive interview with Tom Shiller. I'm in communication with Secretary of Defense P. Hegseth. I'm in communication with the Navy Secretary John Phelan about this. They are taking these matters very seriously and they have told me that they will be watching my interview tonight with Tom Schiller. And you know, it's my understanding that Tom is also in the process of traveling to Washington D.C. to meet with these defense officials to give them a briefing.
