Fund managers for the Florida pension fund, which, as you know, is enormous. And he said, hey, from now on, you're not going to just give your vote to Larry Fink. We're going to vote that. From the state of Florida. That was a shocker. I think he's the first governor to step up and said, we're just not going to. We're not giving our proxy to Larry Fink. Right. We're going to actually vote. I know it's the governor of Florida. Jimmy Petronas was the chief financial officer of the state of Florida. He's now a congressman. Petronas. But he's, he was on board with.
Joe Allen
DeSantis saying BlackRock, they're evil Vanguard BlackRock and one or two in State Street.
Steve Bannon
The three biggest, the three biggest companies.
Joe Allen
That control trillions, not billions, trillions of Americans pension money are totally invested in dei, climate change and other woke nonsense. Man, I hope this thing.
Steve Bannon
I Hope we get eight or 16 more years of either Marco or, or, or Vance or Pete Hegseth or Steve.
Joe Allen
Bannon, whoever it is.
Steve Bannon
A maga right In America. First person. Whoa, whoa, dude, dude. I gotta follow you in the afternoon. I can't be, I can't be wasting time over 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Eric, one more time. Where do people. I love the concept of the Edge, and nobody's better to do it than you. That you thrive on adrenaline. Your adrenaline junkie.
Elizabeth Mitchell
You're.
Steve Bannon
You're a pressure junkie. This show sounds amazing. Where do people get it? Just go to YouTube and type in.
Joe Allen
Eric and the Edge. And, and, and it's, it's off the charts, Steve.
Steve Bannon
It's. We hit a nerve. We hit a nerve or a vein, if you want to call it that. And people are really responding to. I appreciate that. That. Shout out. You are. You, sir, are a great person, a great representative of what the edge is. I'm, I'm, I'm signing. I'm signing up today. I want to watch it. Eric Bowling, we love you. Love following you. Take care, sir. Love you too, brother.
Joe Allen
See you again soon.
Steve Bannon
You know, we do have posos in route. The Secretary treasury is over there. We're going to try to score a interview with Scott tomorrow. I think it's too late now. Posos en route. I think our man Brian Glenn is there. So a lot going on in. A lot going on in Davos. What I want to do now is bring the show and we're going to do the cold open. Bring the show in. I think we're going to have Peter, Tina, peters, LAWYER there's been a event around an issue around Tina Peters I want to get to, but there's a lot going on. Joe Allen's going to join me. Here's what let's do. Let's do the cold open, and then we'll have the open of the war room. Let's hit it. Alliances endure because they're built on respect and partnership, not pressure. That is why I said the use of tariffs against allies is completely wrong. It is not the right way to resolve differences within an alliance.
Elizabeth Mitchell
Honestly, they must wake up every day and wonder if this is the reality that they're living in or if they just are living in the Upside down or something right now. Because none of this makes any sense back here at home. It appears the insanity and frankly, the danger of this moment might actually be getting to some of the people who could stop this. President Republicans on Capitol Hill.
Steve Bannon
I think Donald Trump's only doctrine is power. I think he wants to dominate. People talk about him as being transactional. He's not transactional. He wants every transaction to end with you admitting that he is more powerful than you and can do what he wants. And the Greenland example is a perfect illustration of this. He could have the United States can do anything it wants to do in Greenland in terms of protecting it from Russia or China or any other potential threat, or with the full cooperation of longstanding and reliable allies like Denmark. He doesn't want that. He wants to take it. He wants to commit an act of territorial aggression against an American ally. So for him, I just think it's about he wants to be world emperor and be able to basically boss around every country that is willing to be bossed around. Of course, he's not in the business of bossing around tough countries like Vladimir Putin's Russia or Xi Jinping's China.
Elizabeth Mitchell
To ask if that is just an admission from the administration that their agents, their federal officers, can do whatever they want, can just do whatever they want. When JD Vance said they have absolute immunity, is that them saying get in our way and if we kill you, not our problem?
Steve Bannon
Well, I mean, if you're looking at the totality, let's go back to totality of other circumstances, including the January 6th pardons, including many other pardons from Trump. This is we're looking at a pattern. And the pattern is if you are a Trump ally, if you're doing what Trump asks, then the law doesn't apply to you. If you're a Trump enemy, a Trump opponent, or even if he just perceives you as an opponent, then he's going to wield the full power of the government against you in often in lawless ways. This is a pattern from day one. And I think it's a mistake to just look at this one shooting and try just look at this one shooting in isolation. We have to look at this in context. And the context is very clear. It's impunity for his allies and it is punishment for his opponents.
Elizabeth Mitchell
Help me understand what exactly is going on in the White House and why the President thought it was a good idea or somehow justifiable to send a text message to Norway saying that because they hurt his feelings, he needs Denmark to give him Greenland. I think on some, in some way, Katie, we shouldn't be surprised that this is the way the President communicated to another foreign leader, given the fact that the President has been very public about the fact that he wants Greenland. He, his advisers, one of his top deputy chiefs of staff, Stephen Miller, have said over and over again that this is what they want, that the US they have claimed that the US Has a right to claim Greenland, questioning Denmark's right and sovereignty and questioning Greenland's sovereignty and saying essentially that if the U.S. military can take control of Greenland, then it should be the United States and that this is essentially what the President is prepared to do to make sure that it happens. And so over the weekend, an escalation where the President posted on Truth Social that he was going to enact 10% tariffs on Denmark and seven other European countries. These are allies of the United States at 10% tariff on goods that they're sending to the US and then that would escalate to 25% come June to the if they do not agree and if they do not work with the US on supposedly purchasing Greenland, as you laid out, these countries are not interested in that at all. I mean, Denmark and Norway and all the other European allies have made very clear that this is not something that is on the table and that it would be dangerous and that it could potentially break apart NATO. So what do you advise people, given the threats that they're facing now, to protest, given that a woman was shot and killed, given that they're being pepper sprayed in the face, they're being physically taken from their cars, they're being injured, in some cases detained unlawfully? How do you advise people to practice this? Right. As MLK put it, the greatness of America is the right to protest for. Right.
Steve Bannon
Right. I think that's an important conversation to have today. And I think that there's Going to be different levels for people to engage themselves. And some people like Dr. King were willing to give their life for the ultimate struggles of the community. And which he did. And so in some cases, you should not hamper the individuals from carrying out the forces. And videotaping individuals from a distance is not a problem. You can record them. There is no law that says you cannot record them. You should be a reasonable distance away. And if they instruct you to move away, continue to record and move away in that instance. But is our right under the Constitution to protest? And this sort of conversation around protesting, not being American isn't consistent with the history of our country or consistent with the teachings of Dr. King. His last book was on Community of Chaos. And this chaos, this fear driven community that we're doing in Minnesota, in Minneapolis, is exactly what will drive us to our end. And rather than trying to neutralize, sending more officers to this place does not solve the problem, it just exacerbates it. Picture to make sure it's you. We're not sure.
Elizabeth Mitchell
Okay.
Steve Bannon
Is that your account? I refuse to answer questions without my lawyer present. So I really don't know how to answer that question either. Like I said, you're not freedom of speech. This is America. Right Veteran. And I agree with you 100%.
Mike Lindell
All right.
Steve Bannon
I'm just trying to see if it's you, because if we're not talking to the right person, we want to go see who the right person.
Peter Tickton
Okay.
Steve Bannon
How can I help you? So pretty much it's just a statement that was made as far as, you know, verbatim. It says the guy who consistently calls for the death of all Palestinians tried to shut down a theater for showing a movie that hurt his feelings and.
Joe Allen
Refuses to stand up for the LGBTQ.
Steve Bannon
Community in any way. Even leave the room when they vote.
Joe Allen
And unrelated matters wants you to know.
Steve Bannon
That you are all welcome. Clown face.
Joe Allen
Clown face.
Steve Bannon
Clown face. 3 days ago 0 Everyone's you. I'm not gonna answer whether that's me or not. Okay. The concerning part and not concerning for.
Joe Allen
The person who's posting it. When we're just trying to prevent somebody else getting agitated or agreeing with the statement. We're not saying it's true or not.
Steve Bannon
Understood.
Joe Allen
That guy who consistently calls for the death of all Palestinians, that can probably incite somebody to do something radical. That's all we're here to talk about. And we wanted to get your side.
Steve Bannon
If it was you that posted that.
Joe Allen
To I would think to refrain from posting things like that.
Steve Bannon
Cuz that could get something.
Daily Signal Reporter
I appreciate your concern.
Steve Bannon
I appreciate you coming out here. Okay, that's it. That is it. I'm going to maintain my, my amendment rights to not answer the question about why. That's right. I hope that's understand.
Joe Allen
We appreciate it.
Steve Bannon
Thank you.
Daily Signal Reporter
You as well.
Steve Bannon
Thank you. Take care. This is the primal scream of a dying regime. Pray for our enemies because we're going medieval on these people. There's not got a free shot. All these networks lying about the people, the people have had a belly full of it. I know you don't like hearing that. I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it. It's going to happen.
Peter Tickton
And where do people like that go.
Steve Bannon
To share the big lie?
Peter Tickton
MAGA media.
Steve Bannon
I wish in my soul, I wish.
Peter Tickton
That any of these people had a conscience.
Steve Bannon
Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose? If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved. War room here's your host, Stephen k. Band. Monday the 19th of January, year of our Lord 2026. Martin Luther King Day. Right there, you see in Miami, they're going door to door on your Facebook post. Pretty scary. I tell you what's scary is what's happening and really scary is what's happening in Colorado. Peter Tickton, the lead lawyer for Tina Peters, joins us. There's all types of reports coming out, Twitter tweets coming out. Is Tina Peters been assaulted in prison and was she charged with a felony for getting assaulted? Sir, can you clear it out? Clear it up for us?
Peter Tickton
Yeah, you know, normally I like to reach you with a nice smile, but it's kind of hard to smile right now. Yeah, she, she basically went into a closet where it's like a water closet where she had to fill a container with some water and a 20 year old inmate came in behind her and started to attack her from behind. She pushed this person out of the way and was defending herself. The part where she was defending herself was seen. So they're basically charging her. They put her in the hole for an undetermined amount of time. You know, it's not like they're polite and kind and, and say you have to be here for three days or one day or whatever. So we don't know how long she's going to be there. Last time they put her in there, they put her in for 15 days, supposedly for her own safety and then they returned her to a cell. So there was no, you know, it kind of proved that it was Just nonsense. And they didn't need to put her in there. But this is really alarming. Okay. Because what's going on there now? We've got the governor finally agreeing that the sentence that Tina Peters received was. Was harsh. It was. Of course it was harsh. It was. It was completely unreasonable. And now we have three judges of the court of appeals looking like they very much agree with that issue that the. The sentence is not even a legal sentence. And so they, you know, they're on the verge of reversing some of these charges and reversing or some of the convictions and some of the charges and the sentencing. At the same time, we've got Judge Polis finally saying that it's too harsh. And then we've got the real criminals. We've got Weiser and Griswold, Janet Griswold, who. And I say she's a criminal. They admit that they did what they did. They admit that she was responsible for going into 20. I'm sorry, 62 counties.
Mike Lindell
And.
Peter Tickton
Okay, going into 62 counties and basically deleting the information, which, contrary to federal law, she could get a year for each one of those. So Jenna Griswold is truly a criminal. And what she's doing is she's putting all of the emphasis on Tina Peters for basically saving the evidence. And, you know, now. So we've got a little bit of a divergence between Jenner, Griswold, and Weiser, who are basically saying, keep her in prison. The real criminals saying, keep the non criminal in prison, while Governor Polis is saying, hey, I'm the governor. You want to make these decisions? You run for governor.
Steve Bannon
Yeah.
Peter Tickton
Thank God, Peter. Meanwhile, Peter just said somebody attacks her. Peter, I don't have.
Steve Bannon
Hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on. We're gonna get to take a short break. Peter Tickton, the lead counsel for Tina Peters. Tina Peters was attacked and then charged for the attack. Put in the hole, the special housing unit, solitary confinement. Next in the war room, there's a lot of politicians that should be getting coal in their stockings for Christmas. But Birchgold thinks, as a smart planner, you deserve silver. That's why for every $5,000 you purchase between now and December 22nd, Birch Gold will send you an ounce of silver free. Remember, silver is up over 60% this year and over $60 an ounce. You see, smart people diversify and have a hedge. That's why I encourage you to buy gold from Birch Gold. With the rate cuts from the Fed in 2026, the dollar will be worth less. And what happens if the AI bubble burst? Diversify. Let Birchgold Group help you convert an existing IRA or 401k into a tax sheltered IRA and physical gold. Let me repeat that. Physical gold. And for every $5,000 you buy, you'll get an ounce of silver for your stocking or for your kids. What a great way to teach them about saving smartly. Just text my name, Bannon B A N N o n to 989-898 to claim your eligibility for this offer. Again, text Bannon B A N N O N to the number 989-898 today because Birch Gold's free silver with qualifying purchase promotion ends the 22nd of December of this year. Make sure you text Bannon 298-9898. Do it today.
Joe Allen
Here's your host, Stephen K. Band.
Steve Bannon
Okay, we're kind of trying to reboot Peter Tickton and, and see if we can get a clearer signal. Long story short, Peter, Tina Peters was attacked.
Peter Tickton
She.
Steve Bannon
They're accusing her of the attack. They put her in what they call the hole or the special housing unit, the shu. Shu, which is solitary confinement. And we're gonna get to the bottom of all this. As Peter laid out Jenna Griswold, the Secretary of State Weiser, I think the Attorney General, they're arguing she should serve to the end of her term. Even Polis is getting weak on that by commuting the sentence. And you have an appellate court. So Peter Tickton and the legal team of Pat McSweenney and all of them are working this thing non stop. We have. Peter, just. Can you just give it to us one more time? Tina was attacked when she tried to fight off the attack of this 20. And they put her. And they unprovoked and they put Tina in the shoe, in the, in the solitary. I just want to say. And they've. Have they charged Tina with the assault?
Peter Tickton
That's my understanding is they are charging her with the. With a felony assault. Yes. So this is, this is.
Steve Bannon
Peter, what could be done? You, you got a federal pardon from the president. Is there anything. I understand Polis is thinking about a commutation. You got this panel that's reviewing it. It's an illegal process, but is there anything the president's given you through you working with him? A federal pardon? Understand they got to argue that up through the courts, whether it applies here or not. But when you have a 72 year old gold star mother who has cancer, who's now attacked in this violent women's prison, they put her in solitary and they charge her with the assault. Is there anything that people on the outside can do here, sir?
Peter Tickton
Well, I think just being out in the public and showing, putting shining a light on this is really important. This is where the function of what you do really counts. So, you know, I'm not sure where you heard what you heard and where I got cut off. So let me just put it this way. We know that Jenna Griswold is literally a criminal, okay? There's no question about it. She admits to what she's doing. They're not even trying to hide the fact that they installed the trusted build and wiped out all the data out of all of the Dominion machines that were in 62 counties. She's guilty of a criminal offense that's good for one year of imprisonment. 62 times over. She could be sentenced to 62 years for what she's done. And don't ask me why the Department of Justice has not gone after her and not charged her yet. But there's a diversion in order for her, okay? So you know, it's her, her offense against Tina Peters is her best defense. And so as long as she can keep, for some reason she thinks in her head, don't ask me how, that as long as she keeps Tina Peters in prison, somehow she's safe and Mr. Weiser is safe. But the fact of the matter is that the wrong people are in prison, so she wants them to stay. And she's been very vocal by she, I mean, Janet Griswold is very vocal on the fact that Tina Peters needs to stay in prison. The Governor is saying, hey, look, if you want to be the Governor, you know, run for Governor right now. I'm the Governor, I have to make these decisions. And I think the sentence was too harsh. So then all of a sudden, out of the blue, we have a 20 year old that attacks her completely unprovoked. I mean, Tina Peters was in this water closet filling up something with water, you know, minding her own business. And all of a sudden this woman comes behind her and starts attacking her. And to defend herself, she turns around and basically deals with the situation. And you're right, she's the one that gets charged. She's. So why is that? To interfere with the, the Governor giving her clemency? Is that the purpose of this? Is this what we're seeing in real life playing out? That somebody in that prison or is just a crazy person in prison that's just attacking her for no reason whatsoever one way or the other? They threw her in the hole with nothing to read, nothing to do, just really in the hole. You know, this. This is amazing. Yeah, yeah.
Steve Bannon
Solitary is to break you psychologically. It's a tough thing.
Peter Tickton
Well, there are people that think that they want to kill her in prison, Peter.
Steve Bannon
Where do people go to find out more?
Joe Allen
Yeah.
Steve Bannon
Where do they go to get more information to support you and your efforts to free Tina Peters? What's the website?
Peter Tickton
It's tinapeters Us.
Steve Bannon
Okay, perfect.
Peter Tickton
Please.
Steve Bannon
Do you have a. Do you have social media? Do you, do you have. Do you have Tina Peters Us. When everybody go there, do you have a individual Twitter account we can send people to?
Peter Tickton
Well, you can always go to. At Peter Ticton, but. And, and my office is@legalbrains.com so.
Steve Bannon
Okay.
Peter Tickton
Meanwhile, I think that this is really part of what's going on in America. This is part of the whole cabal. And it's unwinding for them, but they're still fighting hard and they still think that they're going to prevail. And that really all boils down to what's happening. The one pivotal issue that I keep saying is, the one pivotal issue is whether or not we have paper ballots hand counted in one day when come November of this year, if the machines are in play, we lose everything. There are 22 senators that are up for bids and 22 Republican senators that are up for election. And if those machines are in play, we're going to lose the Senate, we're going to lose the House, we're going to lose our president, we're going to lose our Vice President.
Steve Bannon
I could not agree with you more, sir. Thank you.
Peter Tickton
Thank you so much.
Steve Bannon
And we're not doing anything about it. Basically, Main Justice. I have no idea what Main justice is doing, sending people around to hassle people about their Facebook page. Certainly not. We're not seeing any effort on this whatsoever. Strongly worded letters today we had on the chairman of the Armed Services Committee, Brian Mass. Congressman from Florida, Joe Allen joins us. Joe, we're going to have the Daily Signal reporter here in a moment. But you see from Mast, the most hotly contested issue, kind of behind the scenes, is now bubbling to the surface. But the biggest issue people are fighting for behind the scenes is this issue of artificial intelligence chips. Who gets them? Who doesn't set the framework here before I bring in Elizabeth Mitchell from the Daily Signal.
Joe Allen
Well, Steve, you've got a really dissonant, a dissonant mood here in Washington, D.C. i mean, as we'll soon hear from Elizabeth Mitchell, there are just so many different perspectives and approaches to this. But the main division I would say is between the accelerationist camp who want to use artificial intelligence, they say to improve people's lives, build the economy. But you have all of these other, I think far more sensible perspectives on what are the dangers, what are the downsides, what are we trading for this grand AI revolution? So on the note of the chips on the exports, the Overwatch act, which is really among the most sensible bills to come up on this, the GAIN act was good, RESTRICT act was good. But the Overwatch act simply calls for restrictions on any chips that are going out to adversaries. They want congressional oversight just like they do with any other military components on any AI capable chips going to adversaries such as China. As it's been pointed out, you had a craze right wing influencer campaign in which people who never cared about chips or AI were or exports suddenly gained an interest and in very similar language began to call this some sort of boon for China or some means of subverting the President's power to export. If the audience wants to read that, it is an excellent piece put out by Model Republic in association with Midas Touch by Tyler Johnston. Fantastic. Look at this synthetic influencer operation. But the nuts and bolts, Steve, the nuts and bolts is just simply this. If we are in some kind of existential race against China as people like David Sacks have claimed, then we have absolutely no interest whatsoever. Whether it's military or commercial uses. We have no interest in sending chips to China. The only people who would benefit, aside from the Chinese themselves would be Nvidia and also anyone pushing for AI acceleration against China. It then justifies the acceleration. It justifies the reckless development and rampant deployment of AIs that most people really don't want to begin with.
Steve Bannon
As, as we say about AI and maybe guardrails or whatever the Seneca non. The thing you have to do first is a complete shutdown of China and the entire ecosystem. Of course it's no sale whatsoever of any chips. I don't want to hear that. Oh, we want to get them addicted to our system. That's just the bald faced lie put out by Nvidia. And Jensen Huang is a influence peddler for the Chinese Communist Party. It's obvious. He keeps saying it doesn't matter who wins, we'll all share it together. That's a lie. The CCP is in a take no prisoners game. But I mean they shouldn't have any students over here, not just 600,000. We shouldn't have 350. Send them all home. They shouldn't get any H1B visas. None. How about this zero they shouldn't be at any weapons labs or national labs or Chinese national getting trained. They should not be at any of the companies of David Sachs and Mark Andreessen, these guys in Silicon Valley, Sequoia Capital, who has financed the Chinese Communist Party military, the PLA military with their venture capital for decades. There should be no equity, no cash, no American pension funds, no debt. 0. The entire ecosystem around the Chinese Communist Party in all technology should be stopped at zero. This is the lie that, oh, if you do this thing and stop it, you're helping the Chinese, you're shutting down the Chinese and we're not shutting them down enough. This is this is purely in the interest, the economic self interest of Nvidia and other players that Andreessen, this crowd own obvious. Everything they do is in their own economic interest. This is why they're trying to get the weapons labs and the national labs to report to them free of charge, I might add. Short commercial break Elizabeth Mitchell from the Daily Signal Next, If you can make one holiday wish, would you wish to be free from your credit card and other debt? Let's see if we can help you with that. If we could give yourself one gift this holiday season, would it be finally to get some relief from your credit card and other debt? I might have a solution. Here's why. Now's the time to make a move. This time of year, credit card and loan companies close out their books. They clean up past due accounts. They sell or write off the debt to clear their books. That means if you have credit card debt and unpaid bills, lenders may be more open to negotiating and settling your account before you're in. That means right now, and I mean right now, you may actually have leverage. And Done With Debt knows how to use this to your advantage. They monitor lender trends and understand the year end pressure on creditors. They used that timing to negotiate hard on your behalf. Now's the time to get out from under crushing debt and interest payments without bankruptcy or taking on new loans. Done With Debt goes to work for you Month one with one clear goal, to reduce your total debt and leave you with more money every month. Get started now because your leverage may disappear at the end of the year. Chat with a Done with debt specialist@donewithdet.com that's done with debt.com donewithdet.com do it today.

Joe Allen
Here's your host, Stephen K. Band.
Steve Bannon
Okay Folks, welcome back. Gold as you know and silver have been on a tear. They're near all time highs. Gold right now almost $4,700 an ounce. Silver at close to $95 an ounce. Think 94, 20, 28. The geopolitical risk here in the look for a safe haven and central banks buying at record rates are not going to change. President Trump's going to go over and I think Wednesday afternoon he's going to give the post war international rules based order the old what for. So I would imagine we're going to have continued turbulence in markets as people look for safe havens and central banks look to hedge geopolitical risk. What does that mean? That's a lot of Wall street gobbledygook for that. You gotta talk to Philip Patrick and the team at Birchco. Easiest way to do it is just take it from a text Bannon B A N N O N 989898. It's the ultimate guide for investing in gold and precious metals in the age of Trump. That gets you right to Philip Patrick and do it quickly if you want something that can give you how we got here because we tell you it's not the price of gold, it's the process of what drives the value of gold. The pattern recognition. We've been doing this now for I don't know, four or five years when gold was what, a thousand or eleven hundred bucks an ounce. We told you about this, about this is an assault on the US dollar. It's dropped 28% in its value since Biden took over. It is the BRICS nations are trying to get off. They're trying to de$ize and get off the dollar. To break the United States End of the dollar Empire promo code go to birchgold.com, promo code Ben and End of the dollar empire all free online. There's now a book and for an appropriate purchase I do give you a signed copy that you want to keep. It's taught in college courses now because it's accessible and walks you through the entire pattern recognition goal. Check it out today and most importantly talk to Philip Patrick. This thing's going to get crazier and crazier. If we had told you gold was going to be close to silver is going to be close to 100 bucks. The price of two barrels of oil. A while ago you said no, you're crazy. Also, we're going to try to get Apollo Pappas does Tina Peter show keeps Tina Peter show going. Very eloquent. Guy knows Tina Pretty well. We're going to get the facts overnight and we're trying to get Apollo to kick off the show tomorrow morning and get us more up to date. We want to thank Peter Tickton for all the work he's doing. This Tina Peters situation. A bunch of people in the war room engine room have been texting me and coming to me and saying, hey, they don't want Tina to get out of there alive because of what she knows. I'm telling you this thing about an attack and assault and they're charging her with a felony or whatever we got. We got to get to the bottom of all this. Also, Joe did mention my decision, remember, they're kind of a, they're a left wing attack media site, but they do on occasions do some stuff. This is what I'm saying. You're going to have to look at both the left and the right on this situation to get to the bottom of it. They've got a pretty good assessment, but I want to keep everybody's mind clear. We got to get to the bottom of this situation about chip exports and artificial intelligence. I say this again. If you shut down the ecosystem because it is an ecosystem that makes them competitive in artificial intelligence, the students at the universities, the H1B visas, the training at the national labs, the trainings with the companies, the debt and equity, the pension fund money, and particularly the shipment of any chip of inequality. If the rationale is, oh well, we got to get them addicted to our chips because then let them go build their own ecosystem and see how close they come to competition. They won't. They will fade like the morning dew. Elizabeth Mitchell has written all about this at the Daily Signal. It's really an incredible piece. I want Grace and Mo, Elizabeth, and the team here to push it out. Elizabeth Walker Stewart, you're talking about this battle behind the scenes and the most important fight going on in Washington D.C. ma'.
Elizabeth Mitchell
Am.
Daily Signal Reporter
It's great to see you, Steve. So what we have here is, as you've said, some administration sources said, people close to the administration all agree that AI is one of the most controversial issues right now in the Trump administration. So we have four coalitions that are competing here for the President's attention. We have one, we have the tech accelerationists. Those are big tech people you've been talking about. Mark Andreessen of Andreessen Horowitz. He has some influence in the administration. People like Elon Musk, David Sacks, Shuram Krishnan. That's the big tech accelerationist crowd. Then we have three other Coalitions who are united against the tech accelerationists. That's the populist coalition, the National Security Coalition, which is concerned about China, Populist coalition is concerned about jobs. And then the Family Coalition, which is concerned about the suicides. We're seeing AI convincing kids online, concerned about the deep fake porn we're seeing being made by AI that's a danger to kids. And so these coalitions are all trying to figure out where to go on AI policy. It's a regularly a relatively new issue where the right doesn't have a unified stance yet. And there's a lot of different opinions about how we should push forward.
Steve Bannon
How does this one get into? Because behind the scenes you did great reporting. I love the way you broke it down to different coalitions because this thing's just kind of forming. You have different people working with different groups. When do you think this breaks through and becomes a story that everybody's focused on? Because right below the surface, I tell people it's by far the most vicious and probably important fight I've seen in Washington ever. It's galvanized everybody. And as you mentioned, the accelerationists, they happen to be some of the wealthiest people in the world. They've got the biggest lobbyist firms, the biggest crisis communication, the biggest law firms. And this is a take no prisoners fight. When do you actually think, given your reporting, this breaks through and becomes more of a popular thing that you hear more people talk about, more influencers? It's on more the podcast, Fox News is covering it because they've been essentially crickets. When do you think that happens?
Daily Signal Reporter
Well, when I talked to Joe Allen about this, he said that currently AI doesn't have the capacity to replace a large number of jobs, but that very likely is in the future. And it's something that we're not seeing a lot of preparation for or a lot of preparation for how to prevent that. And so I think that as we inch closer and closer to more people being replaced by AI, more people are going to wake up and say, hey, I'm about to lose my job because of AI and I want the administration, I want Congress, the government to do something about this.
Steve Bannon
When he's talking about the coalitions, talk to me a minute about the family Coalition, about the ones really concerned about the, about the, about the suicides, etc. Because you got the populace. Obviously we're always fighting against the tech oligarchs. National security century. We had mast on this morning. I thought he made a very coherent argument, although he's being, he's being painted as a CCP factotum for trying to shut it down. But this family is a new one. We've had some of the people on before that have had children that have died about this. But is this a traditional, are you seeing the traditional pro life groups coming into this or what are you seeing right now in this kind of family coalition?
Daily Signal Reporter
Yeah, it's these traditional conservative groups, people like Michael Toscano over at the Institute for Family Studies, Daniel Cochrane Heritage foundation, who have talked to these families who have had children take their own lives due to AI convincing them to do so. We have character AI being sued for this, other incidents of similar things happening. And there's laws that have taken been taken up across the country, places like Texas and New York that would limit dangerous AI and children situations from happening. Making sure that I can't make child porn, that AI can't convince kids to commit suicide. Different restrictions like this and these restrictions have even in some cases been opposed by big tech. Marc Andreessen has a million multimillion dollar pat leading the future, which is opposing state AI laws and supporting candidates that support no restrictions on AI. And so it's a really big battle that's happening here to protect kids on the pro family side. And so I think we can hear a lot more of that. And I think that that is an argument that the whole country would be really sympathetic to, which is that our kids, we've seen how kids have been endangered and harmed by social media due to the rise of social media over the past several years. And then now we're likely to see a very similar situation that's already begun with AI.
Steve Bannon
Well, Elizabeth, where do folks, what's your social media and where do folks get you over Daily Signal? I tell people, put Daily Signal on your daily media diet because you guys have Rob Blue and you guys over there have great stuff. Where do folks go to get you and your writing?

Thank you so much.

Footwork, Dan. It's like Citizens Free Press. You got Gateway, Punnett, all the great ones. Make sure you add Daily Signal to that, like Nashville Pulse. These are all free and you get tremendous, tremendous content. Get up to speed on your day. Joe Allen. Joe, I want to pull back for a second because I want to because the Warren posse has clearly been so important in this fight so far with the AI Embassy bill. We finish every episode of the War Room with the Magnificent movie and score from the right stuff, really. America at the height of the. This was the Mercury program became the Apollo program. This was the beginning of the space race in America, competing with the Russians, getting there. It's in our blood to not just be competitive. But President Trump says this over and over again, and he posits this, that we have to be the leaders in this technology. So I want to make sure people understand that we're not Luddites. But you have accelerationists, and then you have other people saying, hey, my point about not falling behind the Chinese Communist Party, because I agree we cannot fall behind the Chinese Communist Party. But this whole situation right now, we have to think this through with clarity. Why are the accelerationists the ones that are pushing at the same time to make sure the Chinese Communist Party have an ecosystem? Because this is not any one thing that makes you competitive this like it was not any one thing that did Mercury. You have, as Lina Khan describes it, you have to have kind of an industry ecosystem with different pieces to it. Training, knowledge, capital, debt, inequity, chips, manufacturing processes. That's what exists here. And so why are the accelerationists, which are the ones who want to put, you know, all gas, no break, why are they the ones that also, at the same time, are pushing us to essentially arm our enemy in this, which we agree is the most vital race of all? Sir?
Joe Allen
Well, if you take them at their face, it's to just basically instill American norms, even in China, in China's hardware, and lure them into becoming dependent. Now, if that's the honest response from those promoting this, then I think that's just foolish on its face. Clearly, if we feed them H2 hundreds or any chips, we're only increasing their capacity, both for training and for inference. The other motivations, these are only speculative, but I think they're probably more realistic than what they're saying would be that they want more money. You have Nvidia that would love to see the Chinese market be opened up to them, to not only have their chips over there, but to rake in cash. And then if you got a little bit more conspiratorial or at least imagining a strategy that's unspoken, it would simply be to continue this race and provide justification for the development and deployment here in America by pointing to China constantly as the competitor that we need to stay ahead of. I mean, in reality, China is the closest competitor that we have. But it's also known that right now they're struggling to train new models because of all of the compute they use for inference, meaning that they already are lacking in enough compute to really keep pace with America. And when you look at their indigenous operation with Huawei being the lead producing the Ascend chips, it is a tiny, tiny fraction of what Nvidia produces and a tiny fraction of the chips used for compute. Nvidia chips are something like 60% worldwide. Ascend chips are maybe 1 or 2%, some tiny fraction. So to go back around to that question, why would they want to do it? Well, if you take them at their word, it's a foolish quest to get China addicted to our hardware. But I think that the speculation that it's for profit and for justification to acceleration. I would love to ask David Sachs in person that question if he would be willing to answer face to face.
Steve Bannon

Stick around at 6pm right after the second hour of the show is going to be wild. I'm I've got Joanne Fleming from Grassroots America. We the People, it's one of the largest grassroots organizations in Texas, are going to join me. And of course, Raymond Ibrahim is in Budapest. He's going to stay up and we're going to get to Raymond and lay out everything that's going on in Texas and how it's been done before. It must be stopped. War Room Texas is next. Stick around. You're really going to enjoy it. Joe Allen, you're traveling. We're trying to get you out to see as many people as possible in the hinterland and make sure that people actually get up to speed on everything that's happening, not just in artificial intelligence, but in transhumanism. You're going to be covering though, while you're on the road Davos, because there's a lot going on. One of the things in Davos, the Davos man, Larry Fink of these guys, it's AI overhang. It's the capacity or capabilities of AI that are not being used. They're saying people are using 10%. They're afraid that this may cause the bubble. They're also afraid that, you know, people are just not going to get up to speed and fall in love with AI as quickly as possible. Give me a minute or two on your thoughts on what's happening in Davos that you're keeping your eye on, sir.
Joe Allen
Well, it's no surprise to me that people like Fink or any of the boosters at Davos would like to see more and more adoption. I mean, I suppose a billion plus people just simply isn't enough for them. The overhang, the idea that people are not utilizing the systems to their full capabilities. Yeah, maybe. But I think that ultimately the real focus has to be on what happens when you suffuse an entire corporation or a school or any organization or a person's life with a non human mind that they then become dependent on. Much more concerning to me is how human capabilities are becoming atrophied. Not that AI capabilities are not being exploited, but there's going to be there will be a great panel with Demis Asabas and Dario Amadei. I think that the War Room posse will have plenty to sink their teeth in there. Talking about life after AGI, kind of sci fi. Jensen Huang of course will be there. David Sachs of course will be there. Alex Karp and the usual Mark Benioff. And in one panel talking about the the downsides of AI, Max Tegmark and Meredith Whitaker, the president of Signal. There'll be all sorts of things there but a whole lot of boosting, you can be sure of that.
Steve Bannon
Remember it was what two or three years ago we covered live when Chat GBT was really did its coming out party. It had been announced right before the holidays, Christmas holidays but or Thanksgiving holidays I think it came out and I said this first of the large language models on ChatGPT were far ahead of where anybody thought they were. It was a shock but it was cap. I said the time venture capital, hedge fund capital, you're going to open the doors of this and this is going to be everything because they're going to see the way to make massive amounts of money very quickly. And that forecast has held true. That's one of the reasons we're covering this every day. So Joe, you're going to be there. We'll stream these things as we can get them. We want your commentary and I realize you're going to be traveling but we'll have you on the show non stop to do that. Joe, where do people follow you, sir?
Joe Allen

This episode of Bannon’s War Room centers on two explosive topics: the reported assault and resulting felony charge against Tina Peters (Colorado election integrity activist and former Mesa County Clerk) while in prison, along with the broader campaign of political targeting and prosecution; and an intense deep-dive into the controversies fracturing conservative policy discussions on AI (artificial intelligence), including chip exports, influence operations, and the battle over the technological and ethical future of America.

Episode 5079 offers both a window into the growing political-legal battle over “lawfare” (as centered around Tina Peters) and a fascinating insider’s tour of the escalating, multi-factional war over the trajectory of American AI policy—what it means for security, jobs, national identity, and family safety. In doing so, Bannon’s War Room exposes listeners to the raw debates shaping the future of American technology, governance, and civil liberties, with voices warning of internal rot, external threats, and the looming dangers posed by unchecked technological power.
