Episode 5351: Shakey Negotiations Begin Between US And Iran; Tennessee Redistricting ...

Marco Rubio
The president, our president has proven time and again that his preference is peace. But Iran must accept the reality of this situation and come to the negotiation table and accept terms that are good for them, but ultimately good for the world. The diplomatic path, there's a real diplomatic path. I'm not always going to be one. But if there's a real diplomatic path, and we continue to explore it, Steve and Jared are working on that very hard. If there is one there, it could be one that leads them to reconstruction, to prosperity and to stability, and to not posing a threat to the world. The alternative is growing isolation, economic collapse, and ultimately total defeat. I know what the right choice is for Iran. I hope that the people over there making decisions will make the right one.
Steve Bannon
That the noise like the tumbleweed is getting all over the place. How do, how does Europe and how do our allies in the Pacific, our allies in the Middle east, deal with something that clearly the administration itself cannot control? And that thing in the center is Iran, because at the end of the day, they're still pushing events more than anything else.
Trita Parsi
Well, I mean, the analogy I like to use is a game of chicken. You know, one side is closing the Strait of Hormuz, and the US Imposed a blockade. But for a game of chicken to work, you need the chicken to play by certain rules, even that game. And here we have one chicken, the American one, that is zigzagging all the time. We really don't know. I mean, to your point, at this point, I'm at a loss to know what President Trump's objective is. As you said, Simone, if it was to open the trade of Hormuz, it was open before the war started, the nuclear issue, there's no indication now that the Iranians are prepared to give what they weren't prepared to give before the war. So he could keep hitting them, he could keep hurting our economy. So, you know, it's. It's a wild game and where the household, for a good game of chicken, you stay straight and you have a clear objective. I don't know what his objective is. And he's zigzagging. So even if Iranian wanted to make a deal, it's unclear they know even what is looking for.
Stephen K. Bannon
President Trump posted just moments ago, seeming to reference a potential deal. This is what he wrote, quote, assuming that Iran agrees to give what has been agreed to, which is perhaps a big assumption, the already legendary epic fury will be at an end in the highly effective blockade will allow the Hormuz Strait to be open to all in, including Iran. If they don't agree. The bombing starts and it will be, sadly, at a much higher level and intensity than it was before. Now, we should note that Marco Rubio said yesterday that epic fury was already over the president here saying maybe it's not. But be that as it may, the statement comes after a new report in Axios from CNN political and global affairs analyst Barack Ravid, who we're going to speak to in just a moment. That report says that White House officials believe that the US And Iran are closing in on a one page memo to end the war. This deal would reportedly involve Iran committing to a moratorium on nuclear enrichment and the US Agreeing to lift its sanctions and release billions in frozen Iranian funds and both sides lifting restrictions around transit through the Strait of Hormuz. Again, there have been a flurry of these developments and about faces over the last 24 hours, including the President who said he is pausing the two day old US Operation to guide ships through the strait, citing, quote, great progress in the talks. And this is after Secretary of Defense Pete Hexit and Marco Rubio spent literally hours talking about how great that new operation, Project Freedom, is. But that's now on pause. We're waiting to see what else it means.
Marco Rubio
Terry, the nuclear program of Iran has been destroyed. Their ability to spread terrorism has been destroyed because they're on their knees economically. If we can control the straits, if we can take back control of the Straits of Hormuz, it is checkmate. This thing is over to the American people. I know gas prices are high and I know we're suffering right now, but you pay now, you pay later against thugs like Iran.

Administration efforts to wrap this war up, regardless of the conditions on the ground, means that this war, if they wrap it up, will be seen as a failure, just like Iraq, just like Afghanistan, just like Vietnam. Because as Sanger writes, despite Mr. Rubio's declaration that the objectives of the war have been accomplished, they clearly have not. Mr. Trump himself described his objectives in the early hours of February 28th when he told Americans in a video that he had recorded earlier that Donald Trump and this administration and the United States and its military had five major goals for going to war with Iraq. First was to ensure that Iran can never have a nuclear weapon. That was repeated all the way up until late last week by his secretary of defense. But he went on to add that the United States had to destroy Iran's ballistic missiles and their launchers, which of course, the UAE and our other allies in the region said, we don't want you to Go to war. But if you go to war, you have to destroy their missiles and their launchers, sink its navy, ended support for terror groups like Hezbollah and Hamas and finally create the conditions for the Iranian people to topple their government. And it was Donald Trump who said in the early hours of the war to the Iranian people, your time of liberation is at hand. Sanger goes under.

Right.

The Iranian navy is clearly gone, as Mr. Trump often notes, but that is the only one that is checked off the list.
Steve Bannon
This is the primal scream of a dying regime. Pray for our enemies because we're going medieval on these people. There's no got a free shot on all these networks lying about the people. The people have had a belly full of it. I know you don't like hearing that. I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it. It's going to happen.
Stephen K. Bannon
And where do people like that go
Steve Bannon
to share the big lie?
Stephen K. Bannon
MAGA MEDIA I wish in my soul,
Eric Bolling
I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
Steve Bannon
Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose? If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
Stephen K. Bannon
War ROOM here's your host, Stephen K. Ban.
Steve Bannon
It's Wednesday the 6th of May in the year of our Lord 2020, 26. Want to bring in? We've got Neil McCabe in the press briefing room at the White House. We have Eric Bolling with us. Eric, and thank you for changing things around here to join us. Just what is the result? Because obviously President Trump and getting ready to go to Beijing for next week and have this great powers discussion. And the Wall Street Journal is reporting that the Chinese Communist Party is, as we've said here, here over and over again, arming the Persians, particularly with the technology to do all these advanced drone strikes they're doing, which has gotten to be quite a, quite an issue, quite a problem. The, the, the announcement after yesterday, starting in the morning at 8 o' clock at the Secretary of War Chairman George Chiefs of Staff about Operation Project Freedom, which was a kind of a mass convoy way to open up straighter Hormuz. We talked about it in depth yesterday. Then Marco Ruya gets up and Marco, I do think, because it confused me epic furies over and changed the goalpost that the entire purpose, the reason epic fury is over is we've taken away the conventional capabilities and the industrial war base of manufacturing. That's done so we can move on. Then the President leaks or talks about it goes to Axios. We've got a one page memo we're working on. He's going to stand down on everything until that's done. But then just puts out a tweet or true social moments ago that says, hey, we are very close to having something we can agree upon, but if they hesitate or they any funny business, we're going to go back to a mass bombing campaign. First off, bowling as the markets see it, what are they telling us going on? Because I think it's very tough to take between what people are saying. You have to see what the reaction is of people that are actually betting large amounts of capital right now on their information. What do you got?
Eric Bolling
Yeah, Steve, all over the place last night, I think early in the morning, midnight, one o', clock, I texted you the comment that Trump was going to make that said we're going to pause Operation Freedom, Epic Freedom. And I said at that point it's a, don't, don't hate me for this. I said, steve, is this going to be a Taco Tuesday meeting yesterday or Nacho Wednesday, meaning Taco Trump all his chickens out. Listen, don't hate me for that. That's what the Wall street folks are calling it. The oil traders are calling it Taco Tuesdays. Nacho is not a chance. Hormuz opens. So we got both of them in the span of about 12 hours. We got great news. Woke up this morning, markets were very strong on the equity side. So I immediately went to the oil market and it was down $13 a barrel, Steve. It was $89 a barrel this morning from 103 settlement, 102 settlement yesterday. And then Trump makes that statement like, well, if they don't be careful, we're going to continue this, this, not only the blockade but the bombing, the kinetic bombing on them. And it jumped 5 or 6, 7, 6 or $7 from the low. It's still, you know, 95, but it was 89aminute prior. We need these lower prices for economy. Been saying a long time, Steve, we're going to get 450, guess what? We have 454 in a gallon of gasoline nationally average right now. I've been saying it a long time. We're going to get five people call me a panicking. I'm not a panicking. I don't have a, I don't have a political iron in this fire. I'm just telling you what I see of 35 years of oil trading. Gas is going to continue to go up. Even last night when it was 13 lower in the crude. It would still go up for another month or so and then puts us right in the middle of driving season. What I do believe is happening, something that you and I talked about a long time ago, a few weeks ago, three, four weeks ago, we said that at some point people are going to realize that this is really going to affect the midterm elections greatly. Now we're pushing 455 a gallon. 501 is the all time high under Biden. It took him out of the White House and I have a hunch that at a new high and if we don't solve this thing quickly, a new high, we'll take Republicans out of the House, certainly potentially the Senate as well. Who knows what happens in the White House.
Steve Bannon
Trita Parsi was on here three weeks ago, I think roughly and said, you know, you're never going to get to some long term detailed hundred page document that's signed on, you know, like the battleship of Missouri. That's not going to happen. He says, I don't think you're ever going to get. The best you're ever going to get is maybe some brief memorandum of understanding. Today they're talking about this one pager will lead to it's contingent upon signing a definitive deal later. Does anybody believe that? Does anybody believe that the Persians, because to get them even to get a one pager is taking weeks and weeks and weeks and we're not there yet. If they follow their negotiating strategy, it's years before you get to definitive one. So you get a one pager, all agree to it and then bring everybody home. Is that the plan?
Eric Bolling
Well, Steve, of all people that know the answer to that, it's the man I'm looking at right now because yeah, there's a kinetic war that you're fighting the war on the ground, in the air, on the sea. But there's also a war of, let's call it public opinion certainly, but even more so the rhetoric. Right. So this shooting back and forth between the Iranians, we're not done. We've got a lot more. We will blow boats out of the water, we'll hit uae, we'll declare war in the Middle east versus Trump saying, you know what, they're finally playing ball. Markets. Correct. Then he says we're going to blow them off the face of the Earth within 12 hours. They revert in the wrong way. Right after that. He has to think about the midterms. Some would say that he doesn't care about the midterms. If he cares about conservatives, he'll Think about the midterms. We're never, ever. You, you people want to say regime change where they're friendly to America, it'll never happen. Whoever the next regime will be, they'll still hate America. They'll still continue to try and build a bond. That's why 60 days ago, Steve said, let's just fix this kind of deal with these jerks. They're. They're fanatical Muslims. We'll never be able to trust them. But cut the deal so we can cut bait, get out of there, get oil prices back down and live to fight another economic day. And there are those who just think we should wipe them off the face of the Earth. Well, guess what? You want to do that, you're going to have six, seven, maybe $10 gasoline, period. You can't have both. You can't wipe off a major oil producer in the Middle east with a fight to the death and take out a lot of oil installations and have a cheap price for oil. Americans. Steve, let me ask you something. What do you think Americans, not just people watching War Room or like bowling or love, Trump, the American people, 325 million of us. What do you think is more important to them? Wiping the mullahs off the face of the earth or making sure that they can bring home enough money to feed their kids or go out to dinner once in a while? I'm going to tell you, if you disagree with me, I'm going to say it's the economy, stupid. James Carville said it. He was right. He's become a nut job since. But it's the economy, Steve. There you go. That's my two cents.
Steve Bannon
Eric Hanger for one second. If you stick around, I will go to McCabe in the white House. Caroline Wren is going to join us. I think a message was sent last night in Indiana. Of course, how we even got into the Indiana situation is a story unto itself. But I think you can say in South Carolina, message received. We're going to talk about these redistricting, talk about the midterm elections. If you don't win the redistricting war, you're not going to win the midterm. Full stop. Full stop. Need to have these unconstitutional districts evaporated immediately. Okay, Eric Bowling's with us. We're trying to go through and figure out the Memorandum of Understanding. What that means is going to be enough to wrap this thing up, pack up and, and get out of there and let the Europeans deal with the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf all next in the boardroom. The American health care system is broken. And for most Americans, nothing changes. There's still delays, denials, high cost insurance roadblocks. So when I find people doing things differently, I talk about it all. Family pharmacy is not your typical big chain pharmacy. This is an independent family owned pharmacy that gives you access to over 400 medications delivered straight to your door. They've got ivermectin, antibiotics, antivirals, nad, plus even your daily maintenance medications and so much more. If you already have a prescription, your doctor can send it directly. If you don't, their doctors handle it. As long as there is a medical necessity, they'll take care of you. And I'll tell you this, the feedback from people listening to this show and watching has been incredibly strong. People are using it, it's working for them and they're sticking with it. That's because it cuts out the delays, the middlemen and all the usual nonsense. This is about being ready before you need it. Go to allfamilypharmacy.com that's all one word, allfamilypharmacy.com Bannon and use code Bannon10 to save 10%. The health care system is broken. Your pharmacy doesn't have to be.

War room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Band.
Steve Bannon
The Chinese Communist Party has just come out with, hey, we need this whole thing stopped and opened up. And you know, Persian Gulf's got to be open. They're clearly hurting. This is a great powers negotiation, I believe, and I hope Scott besants in the middle of it, of what really matters and that's with the CCP who are both arming the mullahs and giving them cash for the oil. And I still don't understand why any of the ghost ships or any of the ships that go out are cargo or oil headed for the Chinese Communist Party. It just can't happen. McCabe, you're at the White House. The one page memorandum of understanding, it has, you know, they're not going to do enrichment. They are. We're going to lift sanctions, we're going to give them some cash. We hold related to the sanctions. What's the probability, what are you hearing at the White House? What's the probability this thing gets signed? Because the Persians are tough to nail them down on anything, sir.
Neil McCabe
Yeah. So the expectation is that this thing can be settled and everybody can move on. The question is, you know, are the Persians like everybody else? And some people would say they're not. And so obviously there's a timetable. You talked about what's going on with China? The President has a trip going to China. We also have to resolve Cuba, something that Marco Rubio talked about yesterday. And then you have the World cup and then you have the 250 and then you have a midterm election. And so the President obviously wants to get this thing off the table, but at the same time, there are some absolutes that he promised the American people, such as eliminating the Iranian nuclear program. And so we'll just have to see what that one pager does. It's the style of the President to negotiate a big meta agreement. And then once he has sort of everybody buy in on this big vision, then he just tells everybody, figure out the details. And sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. And that's what we're going to see how this thing plays out. What we saw yesterday is we saw Hegseth and Kaine at the Pentagon lay down the marker that the Pentagon is ready to go, that military operations are still at a very high tempo, that they're supporting Project Freedom, which was the program to allow to help those ships get out using the southern route along Amman that was going to be run by the 82nd Airborne or is being run by the 82nd Airborne until it was suspended. And so every expectation from the Pentagon was, hey, if the President tells us to launch, we launch. And so what we saw with Rubio in the afternoon was the geopolitical, the strategy. This is the sort of the big picture. We saw some moving of goalposts, like you said, where Rubio actually said Epic Fury was done. The purpose of Epic Fury was to eliminate the conventional threat which they were sort of hiding behind as they were building up their conventional defenses so that they could build that nuclear program. That conventional shield is gone. And now we can talk. And so now we'll, you know, everybody was sort of going in that direction. And then of course today at or around 6am Axios has the leak from the White House. And then of course the President came out with his true social saying, hey, we've got a deal. Or maybe we don't. And if we don't, the bombing starts. Steve,
Steve Bannon
Neil, the. Are people tied in? Are they. Is this because you had Pete and General Kane, then had Marco, then you had this announcement that Witkoff and Jared are working on. Is there some sort of coordinated interaction among like even some subset of the National Security Council so that when we present something to the world, people can understand it and kind of, because first it was going to be we were going to escort ships out individually with, with Navy destroyers. Then it was we were going to clear a path and do kind of really convoys like in World War II. And then to get all the way to we're stopping the entire thing because you know, it's not although the Navy can turn on a dime to rev these operations up to get everybody on board. Hey, here's what we're going to do. Here's we're going to go and then boom, in 12 hours kill it and then say just a little while ago, hey, we're going to go back to mass bombing. If we don't get the one pager understanding how recalcitrant the Persians are to really agree or give us anything. Do you think it talks about a lack of coordination internally.
Neil McCabe
It's interesting that some of this stuff is leaked and some of this stuff is official. So you would say right conventionally, right. In a normal world what the President says is the government's policy. And so when that anyone who contradicts the President's policy is wrong. But I think what you're seeing is you're seeing different parts of the government are sort of arguing their case to the President through the leaks. And I think that's where you're going to get some confusion. I think that Rubio is tied in. He's the national security Advisor. There's probably 150 people here at the White House who work directly for Rubio. So he is in the center. He should be in the center. But as it plays out, maybe he's not in the center as we thought yesterday when he spoke he laid it out and then, you know, everything, almost everything he said is undone this morning. Steve, quite brilliant.
Steve Bannon
McCabe McCabe, stick around the White House. I know there's going to be updates in this as we go through the morning. We're going to come back to you Neil McCabe at the, the White House. Neil, what's your social media so people can also follow you?
Neil McCabe
Steve, you can find me on all the socials at reporter McCabe stick around,
Steve Bannon
stick around near the pressure and we'll come back to you bowling. Before we punch out, we're going to go to the you talked about the midterms. We're going to talk about the predicate of these redistricting efforts. But your thoughts right now, I mean if it's a one page memo and they sign up for all this, hey, that's a good basis for moving on the, the, the, the issue has always been these guys think they're winning, right? They're dug in now. They think they're winning and they think they've got some sort of, they've got some sort of stake in those straight or horror moves that if the Americans leave, etcetera, with the NATO, you know, inability to patrol or open it, they're always going to have a say. So your thoughts as we leave this morning about how you think this all plays out?
Eric Bolling
Well, a couple things. I, I think these guys think they're winning. I assume you mean the irgc, the Iranians. I, I would, I would qualify that with yeah, they think they're winning because they are winning. They're getting their ass handed to them on, on the battlefield, but they're winning because they want to be martyrs. This is their ultimate 72 virgin goal, to die for the cause, to get rid of, you know, the evil Satan American, the mini baby Satan in Israel. So they feel like they're doing their, their Allah's work, so to speak. So in their minds, they're winning, which means they'll fight. Would, I would. Steve, what's the best way to keep an opponent off guard? Not knowing if he's coming or going. You see what's happening. Trump will make contradict, contradicting statements 12 hours apart. Pete Hexov will come out and say we're bombing the crap out of them. They're going to die. I don't think it's different factions within the White House. I don't believe that. I think, and you know better than anyone that this White House is coordinating this campaign not for the American people, not for the Iranian people, but for the American, for the IRGC specifically. They can't figure out if we're coming or going. And I think it's coordinated effort. I think it's brilliantly working. Blockade, kinetic warfare. Pete Hex says we're going away. Trump says, no, everything's cool. Wait, no, everything's not cool anymore. This is great battle time strategy, is it not? You're, you're the strategist, am I wrong?
Steve Bannon
An open, an open, open ended psyop to keep them off guard if you eventually get to your objective. And of course yesterday we found out the objective was different. It was a conventional take all their conventional forces bowling. What should we be looking for today in markets to see if all the information. Because remember, these people that are making these bets have sometimes better information than anybody. What, what should we be looking for?
Eric Bolling
They do, they really do, Steven and I'll get with these people again this afternoon. But I think the, the fact that we're still down $7 a barrel. Again, we were down $13 a barrel this morning. Remember the oil market was shrugging off the quote unquote good news. Last few times Trump said, hey, I think we're close to a deal. And it kept going up, up and up. This time they dropped at $13 a barrel. I think the smart people in the industry and these people aren't speculating, they're hedging production and they're hedging requirements to buy, to put oil through the refinery to turn it into gasoline and diesel, more majorly importantly in jet fuel. So they're not hedging, they're not speculating casino gambling this. They're making sure their businesses don't go bankrupt. They are now feeling I believe this. There are a couple indicators. It's wonky for you, but there are a couple indicators that say that sentiment is now changing from let's it looks like it's going to go higher in the short term and medium term to now it may be going lower again. Crude oil price, gasoline will continue to go up for a while. No matter if crude goes to zero today, it will go up because there's all that oil that was traded at the higher levels has to work its way for 30 to 45 days for the system. So we're in for a little bit more higher prices. But I think the saying I'll get with these people, you know, when, when things look good. And they were telling me in, in Dallas, when I was with you in Dallas, the refiners and the producers were both saying higher and they were right. I'll get with them to see if they've changed. Right now their trade desk are going bonkers right now. So it does feel like and the indicators are that they're believing in a lower oil price, which is really good news on a lot of fronts.
Steve Bannon
Eric, where do people keep up with you between now and the time we do a changeover from your show that's 4 o' clock and our show that's
Eric Bolling
5 o' clock again, Steve, I, I, I love you. It's at Eric Bolling across platforms but I really, really think we're doing some important work discovering what's going on in the real markets, in the oil markets, not the rhetoric markets that the mainstream media likes to deliver. So find me here. Find me at four. I'm Rav and Steve hopefully join us with Rev too.
Steve Bannon
Thank you brother. Appreciate you. Okay, we're going to go to break. First off, Birch Gold. Take your phone out of text Ban and B A N N o N at 989-898 you get the ultimate guide for investing in gold and precious metals in the age of Trump. But there's that's free and no obligation obviously is all the information from Birch Gold is more importantly you can talk to Philip Patrick and team A. The first quarter is out and another record rate for the buying of gold by central banks. They actually outline what central banks are doing this. It's quite interesting and the question is that setting now a floor, a potential floor for the purchase of gold. Find out from Philip Patrick's team. Like I said, Bannon B A N N o N and 989-898. Get direct contact with this tremendous team at Birch Gold to talk about the benefits of owning physical gold. Breaking news folks as we bring on Caroline Wren right after the break. Tennessee Republicans unveiled a new congressional map that would wipe out the lone Democratic seat in the state. The map unveiled this morning would split Memphis home, counting to three districts, likely dooming Democratic Representative Steve Cohen's re election prospects. What a way to start start a Wednesday. Caroline Wren. Caroline Wren also gave the moral equivalent of the Gettysburg Address yesterday to the Palm Beach I think it was the city council about an airport down there. The Caroline Wren next in the war room. The dollar's convertibility into gold ended in 1971. Gold was fixed at $35 an ounce. Well, fast forward to today and the US dollar has lost over 85% of its purchasing power. Gold, on the other hand, is increased in value by over 12,000%. That's why Central banks are buying gold at record levels. That's why major firms like Vanguard and BlackRock hold significant positions in gold. And that's why I encourage you to consider diversifying your savings with physical gold from Birch Gold Group. But it starts with education. Birch Gold just announced their Learn and Earn Precious Metals event. This free online event rewards you for learning the basics of investing in precious metals. Sign up to get a free silver on your next purchase. Get even larger incentives as you go. The more you learn, the more you can earn. But you must act now as this special event only runs through April 30th. The dollar lost its anchor in 1971. You don't have to lose yours. Here's your host, Stephen K. Band.

Okay, so I've got two things to go through. Obviously we got these redistricting and their victories upon victories and we need more victories. And that's why the war in posse once again has got to go to the Ramparts day. However, I want to start with this issue down in, in Palm beach. And let me tee this up. Is that, you know, Caroline Wren, you know, she's Miss Mar? A Lago. You see her there, she's hot, walking the donors. You know, all these very classy events with, you know, ball gowns on and, you know, all this, you know, very expensive attire accoutrements, always dialed up, always doing it. So I see this thing at Palm beach yesterday, which is very important. It's kind of an emergency meeting that's called for MAGA and, and she delivers the equivalent, the moral equivalent for the topic of the Gettysburg Address and well, let's go and play it and then I'll bring her on and I'll have some more commentary. Let's go and play it.
Caroline Wren
I live in Lake Clark Shores, just six miles away from the airport, and I'm here to strongly support the implementation of the renaming of PBI to President Donald J. Trump International Airport. This licensing agreement seems very straightforward and is meant to protect this county. And as such, our county commissioners should not play politics with a licensing agreement to delay implementation of a law that was passed by the legislature and has been signed into law by Governor Ron DeSantis. Naming airports after presidents and national leaders is not unusual. It is, in fact, long standing tradition. New York has a John F. Kennedy National Airport, D.C. has the Ronald Reagan National Airport, Houston has a George H.W. bush Airport, Grand Rapids has the Gerald Ford Airport, Springfield has the Abraham Lincoln Airport, and Little Rock has the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport. Airports are economic engines and federal relationships matter. Aligning Palm Beach County, Palm Beach International Airport with a sitting president will strengthen the county's profile in D.C. improve competitiveness for future federal aviation priorities, and potentially enhance opportunities for infrastructure grants, modernization, funding and transportation and investment, whether through FAA discretionary programs, infrastructure packages or broader federal partnerships. Increased national prominence can translate into tangible economic benefits for Palm beach county taxpayers. I urge you to move swiftly and approve this licensing agreement. Thank you.
Steve Bannon
We cut at the end for brevity, the standing ovation she got. So, Caroline, you look like an unmade bed. Your hair is not brushed, you are in a pajama top. And if they saw the shot at the end where they gave you a standard ovation you're in your Daisy Dukes. And I think he had flip flops on. What? What, what in the hell is going on there? I realized the below decks voyage you've taken for the last couple years had a huge impact in your life. I just didn't know it had a big impact on the way you carry yourself. Ma'. Am.
Caroline Wren
Well, so yesterday I wake up to three urgent calls from state Rep. MAGA Meg Weinberger, who's just the absolute best, but telling me that there's this emergency at the Palm Beach County Commissioner meeting and that I had to be there in 15 minutes. And so I didn't even know the topic. I just jumped out of bed, throw on jean shorts and a T shirt and race out the door to go there. And sure enough, the dispute was over, you know, the renaming of the airport, which has already passed. But the county commissioners, we had gotten word that they were going to try and vote down a licensing agreement which basically would have stopped the airport renaming. The licensing agreement just had to do with how they can use Trump's name, et cetera. And so I went there and it took six hours and spoke. And I'm glad I did because ultimately we did win. It passed 4 to 3 and a Democrat flipped. And so we officially have the president, Donald J. Trump Airport. Very exciting for Palm Beach County. But that was how I spent the majority of my day yesterday, was in that meeting. So. But local politics matters.
Steve Bannon
It took. They very much matter. It took six hours of MAGA activists to be there to make sure they could keep the BDI on the commissioners, that there was no funny business.
Caroline Wren
Well, there was a lot of different agenda items I had to sit through. And they made this the last one, the Democrat Congresswoman Laurel Lee, apparently it had sent a bunch of Democrats there to go and speak on behalf of not doing this licensing agreement. And so there was probably about 15 Democrats that spoke and only a couple of Republicans who we had raced down there. Linda Stock, the Club 47 chair, was great. Meg Weinberger's husband, Eric Weinberger, was great. So I am glad we went, but I had to sit through a lot of stuff, such as the passing of new building codes that are sensitive to Native American buildings. Like lots of stuff like that on the agenda that took a lot of time.
Steve Bannon
Local politics matters. We know with this Islamic invasion of Texas, the. But congratulations. So it's done, it's named the airport and it's going to have some transition to do, all the signage, et cetera. But this is going to happen here shortly.
Caroline Wren
Yeah, the signage and name change, they said they expected July 9th. So very shortly here we will have this, have this airport. And it's a big victory. And it's also very, it's exciting. This is what the Democrats are so shortsighted on this county commission, because look at, I mean, President Trump has promised, he said this, that he is really going to put some investment into this airport. So just looking at these Democrats have such TDS syndrome that they were willing to put aside, you know, a great economic engine, a lot of federal grants coming in for this airport and money and excitement around it, just despite Trump. And it is, it was idiotic. And they lost.
Steve Bannon
Okay, so we got big news of things you're specifically working on. Additionally, about the midterms. I think we have a clip from Benny Thompson. I want to play that. Then I want to talk about Mississippi and this breaking news out of Tennessee. Let's go ahead and let it play. This is equivalent to a second civil war. We're going to have to get our act together, as everybody's saying. We're going to have to resist with every fiber in our body. We're going to have to take this system on at every election because it's not just members of Congress. We're talking about state legislatures, we're talking about unit commissions, we're talking about city council. Down to city council.
Eric Bolling
Absolutely.
Steve Bannon
A second civil war. Benny Thompson, one of the most corrupt members of Congress. Explain that one to me, Caroline.
Caroline Wren
Well, sure, that was pretty straightforward. That is the former chairman of the January 6th committee basically calling for an insurrection if Mississippi redraws his congressional district so that he actually has to compete for votes instead of being handed a congressional seat. And then equating that to saying there will be a second civil war if that happens.
Steve Bannon
Exactly. Calling for an insurrection. Talk to me about Mississippi. And then this breaking news just came out of, because we identified yesterday, Clyburn, Benny Thompson and Steve Cohen are probably the top three targets. What happened at Tennessee?
Caroline Wren
Tennessee. Steve Cohen is gone. He. They just showed us the new map and they're in special session now. They're about to pass it. It will now be a nine zero map. And there was some back and forth last night over, you know, how exactly this map is being drawn, but everything is good and proceeding. And so Steve Cohen will no longer be in a artificial district that was drawn specifically for him. And Tennessee will get the representation that it deserves in Mississippi. Harder one. Their special session starts May 20, but their primary has already passed. And so we don't know what's going to happen there. But, but the governor and the attorney general and everyone is doing everything in their power to try and get this map redrawn. And so I'm hoping it happens. But there might be things outside of their control. So we will definitely pick up a seat and get rid of Betty Thompson in 2028. But I'm praying for 2026. In South Carolina, the House Rules Committee just probably 20 minutes ago just voted 12, 2 to amend what is their sign die agreement to allow for redistricting after the session adjourns next week. And so the the full House is about to vote on it. Then it'll go over to the Senate. But I think South Carolina heard loud and clear the message that the Trump political team sent. Yes. Last night in Indiana. And so it looks like South Carolina is also now moving forward.
Steve Bannon
So talk to us. What is sign what is the signed D agreement? Why, why is that important? Why did, why did that have to get done first? Sure.
Caroline Wren
Well, people were getting frustrated with Henry McMaster for not saying that he was going to call a special session. The point the governor was making is they are in session right now. And so also the governor, there's different powers each state has. The governor has the ability to call a special session in South Carolina, but you don't have the ability to set the agenda. And so he was pushing it back onto the legislature to say, no, you guys are in session and what you can do is you can amend the signed die before you close out and put redistricting on the agenda. That gives then the governor the ability to call everyone back. And the topic which would be redistricting has already been set by the legislature. And so Governor McMaster has been impressive here. And I will say Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evatt was playing a big role behind the scenes. I've talked to her many times, calling state senators who are not wanting to do this, calling state house members. And so it looks like Henry master is playing some 40 chess here and that it's going to work. You also had President Trump involved in it. He held a conference call with a bunch of different state senators yesterday in South Carolina. I mean, he is involved in all of this and it is really great to see.
Steve Bannon
I mean, part of this is we want to take the burden off his shoulders, but what he feels he's needed. Right. And it's urgent. This is top of mind for him. I mean, he'll jump on. Like you said yesterday, he had a conference call with a bunch of these senators to let him know what the program is, and the program, I think, was shown last night in Indiana, where I believe we won every seven. Six of the Rhinos were turfed out last night.
Caroline Wren
Six of eight Rhinos were turfed out last night. And in fact, there's one incumbent survived. And that was the race where there was two challengers with the same last name. And the Trump operation did everything they could to try and get one of those two out, and they just wouldn't budge. So that person, you know, survived only because of that. The other race, there's one more that is too close to call. I think it's separated by about five or six votes right now. And Tyler Boyer with Turning Point USA was making the point of this is why ballot chasing matters so much when you have races this tight. But, you know, it was a smackdown of epic proportions last night in Indiana. And so I really, we got to give credit here to the Trump political operation. Turning Point usa, Club for Growth, Scott Pressler and then Senator Jim Banks, they worked together beautifully to not only spend money, but to get the grassroots excited and to turn out the vote and get what needed to be done, which was getting these Rhino senators that refused to redistrict out of office. And so huge, huge victory last night for those organizations.
Steve Bannon
Now, since that's being used as an example in South Carolina, is there any possibility at all that we go back and revisit the Indiana situation?
Caroline Wren
I don't think there's any possibility to revisit in Indiana. It's a good question. They definitely will now. I mean, it will pass for 2028. I'm not sure what could be done for 2026. I'll certainly look into that, but I think it should definitely send a message to Georgia. And two days ago, you had Justice Alito, he made clear that election deadlines cannot become a safe harbor for unconstitutional maps. And Brian Kemp is saying, oh, voting's already started, so we can't. There's no way to revisit this. But Georgia's current congressional map depends on a bra theory that the Supreme Court has now rejected. And state leaders have not only the authority, but they have the obligation to correct this. And, you know, the Constitution comes first. And Georgia must conduct congressional elections under a lawful map, not simply the map that is in place when primary voting has began. We have election Day. Election Day has not happened. And so I just think that it was frustrating. The Supreme Court, the dissent, they slow walked it intentionally so that these dates would pass. And so Republicans, we need to play hardball with them. And it was ridiculous that Justice Kagan and also Jackson and others that they slow walked this and played politics with it. But we should play politics with it as well. And Georgia should not allow the liberal Supreme Court judges procedural delay to dictate their representation for an entire Congress. And so that is the place that I still have eyes on Georgia and I'm very frustrated with Camp and I hope that he will fix this.
Steve Bannon
Where do you want the war and posse? What's the marching orders for the day today before you get to the afternoon, the evening show? Is it Georgia? Alabama? If you're in one of those states, continue to light people up because it's having a big impact.
Caroline Wren
The folks meet Louisiana. For some reason Governor, Governor Landry still wants a 51 map. The legislature wants a 60 map. So if you live in Louisiana, please make your voice heard that you want a six zero map in Louisiana and then also in South Carolina, all eyes are on the state house and state senate. If you live in South Carolina, you've got to be calling your representatives and tell them that they've got to do this and they have to do it now. And then, you know, we're still watching Virginia. That's going to be a huge ruling that comes out. The Supreme Court should rule Thursday or Friday on that. And so that could be either a pickup of four seats for Dems or potentially leave the map as is. And that is a big, big, big thing to be watching.
Steve Bannon
Ren, what's your social media, your bomber command? Where do people go to follow you
Caroline Wren
during the day at Caroline Wren on X TrueSocial and Getter.

War Room here's your host, Stephen K. Ban.
Steve Bannon
We're going to be shifting War Room back to Texas in the run up to the special election is so important down there. Plus other things are going on with this Islamic invasion of the jewel in the crown of the union, the great state of Texas. Patriot Mobile want to thank Patriot Mobile for all their support. They support causes you believe in. A great Christian based company based on Christian values. 972 Patriot Call right now and talk to one of their customer reps. They'll walk you through why it's the finest mobile phone service in the country. Check it out. You'll hear some hear from a US citizen that's got an east Texas accent but they'll walk you through it. Plus what the company doesn't support. Jenny and Glenn Story, two of the best folks out there. They're just incredible and a great company. Patriot Mobile 972 Patriot make that call and make it today. By the way they throw in a free month of free service given the fact that you're a War Room posse member. Beau French. Texas Tribune's got a great article about where this race stands for the Senate. The Attorney General Railroad Commission, they're painting you as kind of the fire breathing maga, the MAGA candidate in this because you're bringing in a whole bunch of issues into being. Railroad commissioner. How's it going sir?
Beau French
Well, the campaign's going great. You know, we made the runoff by essentially tying the incumbent who had the lowest vote total in the history of the Railroad Commission. Incumbent. You know the Railroad Commission is the regulator over the oil and gas industry. Very important for Texas. You know, we produce almost half the oil and gas in the United States. Listen, I have a track record of being the America first warrior who won't back down despite criticism even from within my own party. You know, the rhinos have come after me just like the Democrats have and the establishment does not want me to win this race. So they pulled out all the big guns. They're spending millions of dollars. But look, they can't overcome the fact that my opponent is a Democrat mega donor. He even gave money to the to the Democrat nominee for lieutenant governor against our sitting lieutenant governor who was a former DNC co chair. So I mean, he's a radical Democrat. He's claimed up until recently, I've been in this campaign for six months. He said that Islamification of Texas is not a problem. He's made the railroad Commission a top 10 DEI agency. And just recently he said he didn't even know what DEI was. So this guy is just wrong for Texas. Let's not even talk about the fact that he implemented the largest green New Deal type regulations on our oil and gas industry. They just went into effect in July. Increasing red tape, increasing delays, increasing cost on operators. That's not the America first agenda. You know, we need to be helping President Trump make oil and gas exploration and production in Texas even bigger. And my opponent is not doing that.
Steve Bannon
Also, it's pretty obvious as people find out more information about you and more information about your opponent, they cut your way. Correct me if I'm wrong. When we first got to Texas, I think weren't you like 20 points down in the primary and you close that gap dramatically as people as we put you on Warren, but you went on other media and people really realized what you actually are about and what your record is vis a vis what your opponent was saying and they understand what your opponents true record is.
Beau French
Yeah, look, I mean, I have a very clear record. I was the, I was the Tarrant County GOP chairman, the largest red county in the country. I flipped it from, you know, heading towards turning blue when Beto O' Rourke won it in 2018 and Joe Biden won it in 2020. And in 2024, we flipped it back. I raised more money. We had 2.6 million voter contacts. President Trump won Tarrant County. I fought very hard for that. He won it by five points. So, you know, I have a clear track record of being the America first warrior that I think our primary voters demand. And that's what happened in the March 3 primary when, yeah, the January polling had me at single digits. You know, running a statewide campaign in Texas is difficult. It's a huge state with over 30 million people here. And you know, I was well known in the DFW area, but not all over Texas. And I closed the gap and essentially tied the incumbent who really underperformed all expectations. And now he is reeling. He's brought in all the big guns. He has Karl Rove helping him, you know, which is just terrible. I think most Texans reject what Karl Rove has done to the United States. I mean, what a Muslim population in the United States because of Karl Rove's policies. You know have increased five times since 9 11. I mean, this is just bad for America and bad for Texas.
Steve Bannon
Bo, where can people go to find out more about this race? Because it's one of the most important races in the country in this primary season where they go, yeah, you can
Beau French
go to on X O French and that's I'm there every day, so come find me there.
Steve Bannon
And it comes in a little hot sometimes. That's what people should come. So, Beau French, thank you for coming on. Thank you for running.
Beau French
Thanks, Steve. Thanks for having me on.
Steve Bannon
Beau French, what he did up in Tarrant county, unbelievable. And it tells you turned Tarrant county into a powerhouse up there, the mega movement. Dr. Carol Swain and Dr. Swain, I'm gonna hold you through the break. When you first put this over, people started sending me this the other day and I saw it up on your, I guess one of your accounts, I thought it was a program at Texas A and M that now was allocated was going to have STEM students who were going to have 30% of their time studying Islamic, you know, Sharia law. And then I realized as I watched you and I looked at your thing, it's not Texas A and M at all. It's Tex A and M. They've really ripped off the name. You have a long history. In fact, you may have the longest history of any tenured professor at Ivy League school about this very issue about the encroachment of Islam in universities. I got about 90 seconds here. Date: May 6, 2026
Host: Stephen K. Bannon
Notable Guests: Marco Rubio, Trita Parsi, Eric Bolling, Neil McCabe, Caroline Wren, Beau French, Dr. Carol Swain
This episode tackles two interrelated crises: the rapidly evolving US-Iran conflict over the Strait of Hormuz and consequential peace negotiations, and a sweeping wave of Republican-led redistricting efforts across key Southern states. With real-time news, market reactions, and key political strategy, Bannon brings in policymakers, political analysts, and campaigners to give inside perspectives on American foreign policy, domestic political strategy, and the grassroots MAGA movement.
Marco Rubio (00:00):
“The president, our president has proven time and again that his preference is peace. But Iran must accept the reality… The alternative is growing isolation, economic collapse, and ultimately total defeat.”
(Rubio emphasizes diplomacy but underlines the threat of force)
Trita Parsi (01:04):
"The analogy I like to use is a game of chicken... But for a game of chicken to work, you need the chicken to play by certain rules... We really don't know... what President Trump's objective is... Even if Iran wanted to make a deal, it's unclear they know even what he's looking for."
(Parsi critiques inconsistency in US negotiation strategy)
Stephen K. Bannon (01:56):
Cites a Trump post: "'Assuming that Iran agrees to give what has been agreed to, which is perhaps a big assumption, the already legendary epic fury will be at an end... If they don't agree. The bombing starts and it will be, sadly, at a much higher level and intensity than it was before.'"
Details:
Neil McCabe at the White House (17:25):
"The expectation is that this thing can be settled and everybody can move on. The question is, are the Persians like everybody else?... There are some absolutes that he promised the American people, such as eliminating the Iranian nuclear program. And so we'll just have to see what that one pager does."
(McCabe notes WH urgency but acknowledges promises to domestic audience and shifting 'goalposts')
Eric Bolling (22:55):
"I think this White House is coordinating this campaign not for the American people, not for the Iranian people, but for the American, for the IRGC specifically. They can't figure out if we're coming or going. And I think it's a coordinated effort. I think it's brilliantly working."
Steve Bannon (24:16):
“An open-ended psyop to keep them off guard if you eventually get to your objectives."
On Benny Thompson (36:25):
"That is the former chairman of the January 6th committee basically calling for an insurrection if Mississippi redraws his congressional district..."
On South Carolina Progress (38:24):
"Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evatt was playing a big role... and so it looks like Henry McMaster is playing some 40 chess here and that it's going to work. You also had President Trump involved... he held a conference call with a bunch of different state senators yesterday..."
Republican operatives are laser-focused on leveraging redistricting to consolidate legislative majorities and beat back Democratic seats—with heavy involvement from Trump’s orbit and grassroots mobilization.
Caroline Wren (30:44): (Memorable moment)
“I urge you to move swiftly and approve this licensing agreement. Thank you.”
(Her address to the Palm Beach County Commission advocating Donald J. Trump International Airport; resulted in a 4:3 win)
Trita Parsi (01:04):
"For a good game of chicken, you stay straight and you have a clear objective. I don't know what his objective is. And he's zigzagging."
Eric Bolling (11:52):
“We will never, ever... Whoever the next regime will be, they'll still hate America. They'll still continue to try and build a bomb... But cut the deal so we can cut bait, get out of there, get oil prices back down and live to fight another economic day.”
Caroline Wren (34:55):
“President Trump has promised, he said this, that he is really going to put some investment into this airport... The Democrats are so shortsighted on this county commission...”
This episode demonstrates the War Room’s fusion of up-to-minute foreign policy developments, campaign strategy, and the mobilization of grassroots MAGA supporters on both geopolitical and hyper-local fronts. The conversation draws a through-line from global oil markets and chess games with Iran, to remapping Congressional battlefields in the heartland, to renaming airports in Trump's honor—all linked by a conviction that America's future and security depends on strategic clarity, ground-level activism, and unrelenting conservative pressure.
