Saturday 6th, June in the year of our Lord 2026, I think the 82nd anniversary of the landing of D Day. In the beginning, as then General Eisenhower said, the head of the American Expeditionary Force. It was the, I guess, supreme commander in all Europe, actually. The great crusade. Amazing day. We're gonna do, obviously what we do on D Day a little truncated because in the second hour I have. Captain for now, it's also about we didn't get to the Battle of Midway over the last couple days. And I think the Battle of Midway is very important, should not be forgotten. And we're going to talk about a lot of issues regarding Midway that are relevant today, particularly about China and about intelligence and all that. So we'll second hour for an entire hour. Captain Fennell, you'll find it quite fascinating, I'm sure. We are absolutely packed this morning. I want to get to Eric Metaxas. Eric, the President United States put out a true social last night. Nothing short of a rave review for the book Revolution. So we can tell he. He watches his clips of War Room and saw the race we've been giving it all week. How does that make you feel, sir, after all that time and effort? Have the president really. I haven't seen actually promote a book like this. I don't think ever. I think it's the biggest. You know, he would just over the top and saying how great it is. Your thoughts, sir?

My thoughts are that I wrote this book. I've written a lot of books, but this book is a definitive telling of the birth of the United States of America for our 250th. So it's kind of timely right now. And what I've said on this program and wherever I go, I'm in Houston now. I'm traveling all over the place. We need to re catechize the citizenry in understanding who we are. We are one nation under God. You just heard fdr, a Democratic president, praying. He was praying. He wasn't talking about God. He was praying. Those soldiers wading onto the beaches, many of them had little bibles in their pockets. That is who we are. That's not escapable. And the secular left has pushed that out, out, out. We gotta push back. That is who we've. It is why we have been the greatest nation in the history of the world. It's why we're the freest nation in the history of the world. And most Americans don't really know that. So I wrote a book really just to tell our story. But in the course of telling the story, that stuff comes out and it's, I gotta tell you, Steve, we're at a point where if we don't know this, if we don't know who we are, if we don't know who those boys were who stormed the beaches, if we don't get back to that, it's over. You know this and I know this. So I think we're on our way. But I think the 250th is the moment. And I think the President acknowledges that, you know, he's not, he didn't promote former Vice President Mike Pence's book and he didn't promote Jill Biden's book. You know, those are competing with my book in case, folks, you want to know which books are out there this week. And listen, I think it would, it would be, you said it yesterday or two days ago that it would be a black eye to the New York Times if they would have to put my book in the number one category in a hardcover nonfiction. Would they do that? Would they be honest enough to do that? I have no idea. But I would like to make it too big to rig. This is America's story. This is for everybody. I think it's not just a great Father's Day gift, but a gift for anybody around the 250th. But again, I'm not saying this just to promote books. You know that I believe this and I believe that if we as a nation do not know who we are, if we do not know the story of the great men, most of whom were just fire breathing Christians, who knew that without God we will fail in the revolution, Washington at the top of the list. If we do not know this as a nation, if we don't get back to this, and if we don't have revival with a focus on the God of the Bible, the God who called us into being 250 years ago, we can't proceed further. So this becomes necessary. And again, I wrote my book only because there wasn't another like it. I said we need a book that tells the whole story, but that also tells it, you know, Truthfully, that does not shrink from telling the Christian nature of it and how they all understood. If all the founders saw it this way, why can't we at least be honest and say that's how George Washington saw it, that's how John Adams saw it. That's how they all saw it. And so I give chapter and verse on that, and I think it's very important for right now. So I'm not shocked that the President said what he said, but I am thrilled that we have a president that would stick his neck out in that way. I just, I'm so honored. You know, really, it's ridiculous. I'm so honored. I'm humbled by it because I love him as a leader. I love this man and respect this man. So I'm very touched.

Before you bounce, I want to put up what the President said last night on this true social. It was very powerful. Eric, as you know, the major publishing companies come to us and, you know, everybody comes to us to have their authors on because we have a, not simply a large audience. We probably have the largest audience of people that actually buy and read books. Okay? That, that's just a demonstrable fact. That's why they come to us, you know, for the Sam Tannen Houses and these big serious books that, you know, don't have big audiences anymore because they are serious books and we have a serious audience and a lot of book readers. But give me a minute. For those who maybe are too busy or feel they're too busy or run around that are not normal because the book is 600 pages. I devoured it because I just, I thought it was magnificent how you tied everything together. And you're, you're also a great writer, which is, differentiates you from a lot of people. It's not typing. You actually write. What is your pitch to those people who go, wow, I want to do this, I want to get one for myself and I want to give it to somebody, but I'm someone that's intimidated by reading.

What is your pitch? Because our audience loves to read, is going to love this. But for those that are intimidated by

600 page book, I'll straighten you right out. First of all, you'll never read a 600 page book that seems shorter than this one. People said the same thing about my Bonhoeffer book, that they devoured it, but they never read books. That's number one. But I want to say something more sternly. You know, you don't like to do a lot of things. I don't like to do a lot of things, but you do it cuz it's the right thing. We have an obligation to the men who died for our liberties to know their stories. We have an obligation to unborn millions to understand who we are as a nation. So even if this is like medicine, do it like medicine, do five pages a day like medicine, you will be blessed. First of all, you're gonna find that it's. Some of it is funny and crazy and amazing and you weep at some of it. It's beautiful. You'll be glad, but it's no different than, you know, you'll be glad you quit smoking. You'll be glad you did a little exercise today. You went out for a walk. There's a lot of things we do that, you know, we'd rather do something else. But I want to tell you this is an assignment. I say this. You know, I wish I hadn't written the book so I could be more strong about it. But I feel this is an assignment for this summer for every American. You have an obligation and you're not going to find it written in anywhere else. I mean, you got to read 10 books really to get most of this. So I said, I just want to write it in one book so that everyone can read it. And I promise you, part of the reason I wrote the book, Steve, is that there are so many books that are difficult to read. They're 900 pages, they're academic. You're not going to read it. You're not going to get into the nuances of every little thing I put in here, what I think is the most entertaining and important and some of the stories of the people, you almost won't believe it. And every weird anecdote, every funny thing is in there. There's a part in there where John Adams and Benjamin Franklin spend a night together in a bed in an inn in New Jersey. There was nowhere else to go. And it's a small room and a small bed. And they argue as they're falling asleep about whether they should keep the window open or not. I mean, every kind of weird anecdote that you find, you say this is true. These were real people and these were heroes. These heroes. We need to know their story. So I say to people like, even if you're not inclined, just, just do five pages a day and you'll be, you'll be amazed. I promise you if you read it, you'll see what I'm talking about. Can't convince you, but you can try and see what I think, see what

Sir well, Steve, we've seen this situation with Henry Novak, young Henry Novak, young Polish Catholic boy in the UK who was stabbed, killed. The police, of course, handcuff him. It's taken over the Internet by storm. And now what you're seeing as the police mock him, they tell him he hasn't been stabbed, they don't check him out. You can see the lifeblood draining out of his hands. Steve what's going on now in Europe is you've got people, I've never seen anything like this. Maybe the death of Charlie Kirk and the spontaneous vigils and memorials that sprung up after that. You've got people at every British embassy across Europe right now is laying flowers for Henry Novak. You've got memorials and vigils that are coming up in Stockholm, in Warsaw, all across Southampton. Tommy Robinson is out there in the streets day after day and the crowds are getting bigger and bigger in Southampton, the UK where, where Henry Novak was murdered. And Steve, these, these vigils keep going and you've got, you've got David Lammy. Now, the deputy prime minister said he wouldn't take a knee for Henry Novak. So you've got main, you got even lbc, which is almost mainstream media are even asking questions about this. This is a tipping point. And we've seen situations like this in the United States as well where what they call it is two tier policing. And that's exactly what's going on for so long. And on a day like today, which is June 6th, that's what's going on in Europe today, Steve, on June 6th, it's people standing up and fighting for the preservation of our societies and Western civilization. Because Henry Novak was murdered by a migrant. And when the police showed up, the migrant lied to them. They took his side. That's why it applies to us. Hang on, give me that again. Because I think this is the reason people are so enraged about this. He stabbed, he's bleeding out the cop. The cops show up, but one cop is mocking him as they handcuff him. But walk me through it, there was an incident then about who took whose side. I mean, this is the, this is kind of the, the BLM situation, right? This is going to lead to a summer of love.

They're having a Europe. Yeah, they're out. He's a couple of students and they're out. I believe, as you would say, they're out booming. They're, they're hitting some pubs after, after finals. It was December. And he's out there doing TikTok. They're doing Snapchat videos and just having a good time as you do. And this migrant, a Sikh migrant who carries the ceremonial knife. Now remember, knives are banned carrying knives, banned in England except for the Sikh community because they say it's ceremonial, it's part of our religion. So he's holding this knife, which turns out to be much larger than the accepted knife. And he apparently doesn't like the tenor, the tone of the Snapchat video that's coming out. So he proceeds to stab Henry Novak, 18 years old. Henry Novak tries to run away. This comes out of the trial. Continues to stab him, stabs him in the arm, stabs him in the legs. Films his own video. Standing over Henry Novak, taunting him for five minutes. Doesn't call police. Henry Novak crying, screaming in the street, I've been stabbed. I've been stabbed. Neighbors call police. But when the police show up, Vikram Digua's family, his mother and his father and his brother all arrived to give conflicting statements. They say that Henry Novak had uttered racial slurs. His mother hid the knife and said there was no stabbing. See, there's no knife here. And the father and the brother are giving these statements and that, that, that this boy, he provoked it. He's a racist. You need to arrest him. So what do the police do? They arrest the Boy as he's bleeding out. And you can see it on the body cam footage that's been released. His, his hand has turned a pale ashen blue. It is, it's already lifeless as they're putting the handcuffs on. And if anyone's ever, you know, if you've ever been to a viewing, if you've been to a funeral, you know what I mean? The hand that, that is drained of life, that's what's putting, putting on as he's gasping for air, saying, I've been stabbed. And the police tell him, I don't think you have, mate. That police response and the COVID up thereof ever since has led to this mass movement across Europe and it's coming here to the United States as well. The vice president has tweeted about this. The State Department has released a statement decrying this and saying that this, this level of two tier policing cannot be allowed in any western country. We need to have one standard for all people.

I think in 2024, we whittled our message down to our campaign strategies, down to the header of this movement, down to a few issues. And 24 was border debt, forever wars. I think now it's security of elections, mass deportations, term limits, and we're pro life. And we gotta kind of get ourselves back to some fundamentals yet again when it comes to messaging and when it comes to our campaigns and what we're trying to preach to the American people in our 250th anniversary, such pivotal moment, obviously an inflection point yet again. And there'll be a ton of inflection points, but as far as Minnesota, I mean, Steve, I'm behind enemy lines here, brother. And these Republicans who pretend that they support, but.

But a minority subset of this missile Republican culture. I just want to. What I'm dealing with here in the Minnesota Republican culture. I'm outside counter protesting communists at our state convention. On the street, these George Soros paid protesters. They're out there on the streets with their black signs. I'm out there screaming, communist, Communist, traitor, subversive. And from the convention emerges a Minnesota GOP delegate with a credential who has a bag of water, and he's handing waters to the protesters, and I call him a capitulator. So maybe that's why I didn't get some of those votes, but I'm okay with that. The problem in the price is yet again the lack of urgency in our own movement. And these capitulators, yes, the progressives have taken over. Yes, we want to give our country to Somalis, it would appear and some Democrats are okay with us given 20 billion to $50 billion to Somalis or whoever else in fraud so they can keep the right to kill their unborn children. And that is the quid pro quo with the Somali migrant community. We'll shovel your money, you come vote for us so we can keep our right to kill our unborn children. Yes, those folks are a problem. But the real problem is the soft sort of conservative capitulator. The Mitt Romney types, the John Cornyn types, the Michelle Tafoya types who are openly pro choice in the wake of the great Charlie Kirk's brutal assassination and a call to Christian rededication in this country. Openly pro choice and the Tim Scott's of the world and the Fox News of Fox News of the world promote her with no shame because they do not believe in having a country. But more importantly, I'm not even so sure these people

And the maggots eat the animal alive in the most horrifying fashion. And they spread insanely. You know, one of these insects, the life cycle is ridiculously short. So they go from maggots to flies. They, they fly to the next cow and they lay eggs. They infect all kinds of animals. But the big issue obviously is they have now spread out of Central America where they've been endemic forever, all throughout Mexico. We stopped importing beef from Mexico a year ago because of this. And they've now hopped the border. As of this morning, there's at least two cases in Texas. Texas has the largest beef herd in the country. Something like 15% of all the cattle in America or in Texas. Our beef herd is now at the lowest it's, it's already at the lowest it's been since 1951. And now we got this monstrous thing spreading throughout Texas and it will go, go elsewhere if left unchecked. And there's no once it's in the animal. It kills it.

This was a huge issue back as recently as the 1930s. We eradicated it here. Essentially, they. They release. They release neutered male flies into that, then mate with the females, produce non. I mean, once the female mates with the male, it can't reproduce because the male's been neutered. And the females only mate once in their lifetime. So in a very short period of time, you kill off this thing and drive it out. We figured that out back in the 1930s and did it. We just have been kind of watching this thing get closer and not taken that kind of action. And I mean, you're talking wildfire. I mean, not to sound alarmist because you should be alarmed. I mean, once you've got it in a herd and you find a cow, a huge portion of that herd is probably lost and it's probably on the next ranch already. So from Texas, who knows, Not. Not very long till Montana this.

Are people on top of this? Because I, I keep telling folks, this is the kind of thing that can, that comes up on you, that can flip an election. I mean, Texas is, is vital for everything we're working on. Something like this happens. And a voter think. If voters think that, hey, people are inattentive or just kind of shining it on, next thing you know, they, they go the ballot box to get, to get their revenge. Is your sense of people on top of this?

No. I mean, intellectually, do they understand the threat? Are they moving with a sense of urgency? No. And you know how this works. You know, you're talking to people in a room in the middle of a crisis, and you explain to them we need to be doing X, Y and Z. And then people are still standing in the room looking at you, and you're like, I'm sorry, did I, did I stutter? Why the hell are you still here? Why aren't we moving? Why? You don't need to be talking about this and having meetings. We needed to be moving months ago to prevent this from ever jumping the border into Mexico. Now, now maybe we can't contain it, at least not before the damage is catastrophic. And yes, the political implications are obvious. Beef prices are already crazy. I mean people are not buying steak already. When steak doubles and triples in price, that's going to be a major political issue.
