Steve Bannon
I want to ask you about surveillance here and the lapse of a key authority. On Thursday, the President did appoint Jay Clinton. He said, who will be the next Director of National Intelligence instead of Bill Pool, who I know you oppose, who
Mark Levin
not only I oppose, but virtually all of the Republican senators who know anything about national security oppose this one.
Steve Bannon
Yes, there are some pretty colorful statements, but Clayton is the current U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, a former SEC chair. How quickly can he move into the role? I mean, he doesn't necessarily have the kind of extensive national security background that you would expect.
Mark Levin
He was law enforcement. He was head of the sec. And as Southern District of New York, that's where we pursue a lot of our terrorists. I know Jay. I think he's got the right temperament. I've got a lot of questions like, you know, who won the election in 2020? So he least acknowledges that truthfulness. But remember, Margaret, this was totally caused by Donald Trump. Well, he could have nominated Jay Clayton a week ago and we wouldn't have gone dark.
Steve Bannon
This is an extraordinary series of events that we have to take more time to talk about on the other side of the break. Let me take it and we'll finish it. We'll be right back. Before the break, center, we were talking about the next Director of National Intelligence. The hearing for Jay Clayton is next week. This Wednesday. Right. How quickly can he get confirmed? And. And what does that do in terms of blocking Bill Pulte from ever taking the job?
Mark Levin
Well, I've got questions for Jay, like, want to make sure that he's going to maintain the integrity of our elections, not try to pull the things that Ms. Gabbard did where she was interfering in domestic election activities with the seizure of the ballots in Fulton County. My hope is if we can get unanimous consent, we could even get him confirmed this week. I would hope that the President would then say to Tulsi Gabbard, who was going to stay till the end of the month, you know, stay at least until Clayton is confirmed, or allow the number two to stay.
Steve Bannon
That's a shocking statement from you because you are a huge critic.
Mark Levin
I am a huge critic.
Steve Bannon
How much damage could Bill Pulte actually do in a matter of days?
Mark Levin
Well, my fear is not so much the damage he could do on section 702, which has a full audit trail. If he misuses that, we'll figure it out. But having him exposed, where he doesn't even have a security clearance to all our nation's classified programs out of ignorance, he might Give away information. I've had heads of our intelligence community say to us they're terrified of showing him information. I've had foreign governments express huge concern. The one thing we know about Bill Pulte is he will do whatever Donald Trump says he was able to weaponize private mortgage insurance information. Giving them the keys to the 18 intelligence agencies would be a disaster and a national security threat. He is eminently qualified for this job.
Jack Posobiec
The statute says that this person should have background in intelligence. His background is an attorney. As an attorney, why is he qualified? Why is he the right guy? Well, I think that the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York also deals with some intelligence matters. But I also know that people who have had any experience or, you know, dealt with him in any fashion believe him to be somebody who's incredibly competent, that can take on any task and manage it effectively. But I do believe that, to answer your question specifically, I do think that position entails a certain amount of dealing with intelligence communities and agencies. Pulte has the backing and the faith of the Commander in chief. That's all he needs. Has the backing, faith, the commander in chief. And now you have Mark Warner. You know, up front, they're going to. They're going to. They're so worried about this, about American citizens and the security of the country. They're playing around with the fisa. They're. They're going to hold FISA in. In as a hostage. They put the gun up to the FISA head. They're going to hold FISA as a hostage to stop Bill Pulte. If that group hates Bill Pulte so much, then above all else, Bill Pulte must get in. All I need to know is that collection of scumbags and incompetence. If they were just scumbags, we could deal. If they were competent scumbags, you could deal with that. They're a lethal combination of totally and completely incompetent and scumbags. And who knows of that group who sold out to foreign powers? Okay. Who sold out to foreign powers? I don't trust Cotton as far as you can throw me. People in Arkansas should be embarrassed that that guy's United States Senate. And now he's proven his true colors. He's working with Mark Warner to thwart this. And this all gets back to John Thune right now. We got to force this. Thune has got to go. Just, bottom line, all you guys in the Senate, you like cheering your committees, you're going to lose. No one has any enthusiasm at all at all and going and going door to door or to engage to have voter engagement.
Steve Bannon
The question of going forward expeditiously on Jay Clayton is a question about making
Jack Posobiec
sure that Mr. Pulte never sets foot
Steve Bannon
inside the DNS building and never gets a look at all of our national security secrets.
Mark Levin
And I think that is a worthy goal.
Jack Posobiec
I would say that that is a middle finger to the Republican members in the Senate. It is a fu to the deep state. And I think it's a wake up call to the White House staff. One thing you say about Bill Pulte, he's a man of action. President Trump wants action, wants action about
Steve Bannon
Jay Clayton, the DNI nominee. You just met with him. What do you think of him?
Mark Levin
Well, first of all, I'm trying to do everything possible to avoid Bill Pulte, who is totally unqualified, doesn't even have a security clearance, getting the keys to the 18 intelligence agencies. This goes way beyond our debate about section 702. This guy should not be inside the most secrets of our secrets in terms of our 18 intelligence agencies. You know, I've known Jay Clayton. I think he will stand up for the Constitution. I got a lot of questions tomorrow. Will he make sure there's no DNI interference in our elections? Will he acknowledge Joe Biden won the presidency? Will he make clear that he will speak truth to power, even if it's uncomfortable? But end of the day, I do think Clayton will be confirmed. And my hope is that we can move it along quickly so that Pulte never actually gets into the job. We could actually get Clayton conform by the end of the week, people, and still vote against him. But if they want to. But let's not let Pulte look, get a look at our nation's most important secrets.
Steve Bannon
What's up with 702 and Pfizer? Is that going to get reaffirmed eventually?
Mark Levin
This will, this was always going to be a heavy lift. You know, 70% of the president's daily brief is included, comes from section 702 collections. It's terribly critical. It has expired. We are still, you know, some of the telcos are still participating. I'm afraid, though, they may get called out by a shareholder and say don't participate. So that's all up in the air, I believe. And they're probably 20% of the Democrat, 25% of the Democrats who agree that we can't allow this tool to go, go vacant or go unused. President Obama supported it. President Biden supported it. And I do think we have Put in good reforms. We can always do better. But I sure as heck don't want, God forbid something happens while 702 has expired and this president who's not really been that supportive of it, but would then claim, you see bad things happen because the Democrats didn't renew this tool.
Jack Posobiec
These people are arrogant. And right now they're doing very sophisticated war gaming. Very sophisticated, let's say association with intelligence agencies and I think rogue law enforcement agencies. This is why it's so important. Jim Marchant said earlier on our show today, Jim Marchant has information about how his election was stolen. What did he do?
Jim Rickards
He.
Jack Posobiec
He went to Tulsi Gabbard. Why has Tulsi Gabbard been so important? Because as Director of National Intelligence, she has information about the Chinese Communist Party and other foreign actors hacking into the registration systems, hacking into at least 18 to 20 states voter registrations. That's why she was in Atlanta. That's why she went to Maricopa County. That's why Jim Marchant went to her. Well, Tulsi Gabbard is leaving next Friday. Why do you think they do not want Bill Pulte to step foot into DNI headquarters? Why are they moving Heaven and Earth and Democrats today, Mark Warner, Chuck Schumer, and right before we came on air, Folkahontas, Elizabeth Warren all came and said we'd be jeopardizing national security if we allow Bill Pulte to step foot into dni. You know what it would be jeopardizing? Bill Pulte would understand exactly where to go in Tulsi Gabbard's files to look at the information about stolen elections. Stolen elections in Nevada, stolen elections in Georgia, stolen elections in Maricopa County. The 2020 big steal. He would know exactly where to go. And that information is sitting in those files. And that is the only reason the Republican establishment and Democrats have come together to say, hey, we have to move Heaven and Earth. You have to remember how extraordinary it is of what they're trying to do with Jay Clayton to get him in. Normally, it would take you months on a DNI nominee to put their records together of all the foreign contacts they've had. And Jay Clayton has a tremendous track record. He was managing director of Sullivan and Cromwell, one of the most prominent law firms in the country. The law firm of Goldman Sachs. The law firm who's one of the most senior partners was John Foster Dulles before he helped set up the CIA. It would take months for Jay Clayton to put together his just as foreign contact. So they could do due diligence about what that means. Jay Clayton right now was nominated I think on Thursday. This coming Wednesday. This coming Wednesday he's going to have our next Wednesday he's going to have a hearing. And then Thursday, excuse me, this week, Wednesday he's going to have a hearing. Thursday they're going to have a vote. Friday he's going to go in and be sworn in. They are waiving everything in the Senate to do it by voice acclamation to get him in. Why is that? It's very simple. They don't want Bill Pulte going in DNI so he can get his hands on on the stolen elections, that the apparatus has allowed this deal and they've looked the other way and covered up when we've had foreign interference. So what does this mean? Without Pulte at dni, without Tulsi Gabbard at dni, with no Save America act, we have literally none of the infrastructure that should have been in place to help guard against the stone election. That means it's all going to come down on your shoulders. Yanked his pick for intelligence chief to be head of the Department of National Intelligence. Director of National Intelligence, I should say. Jay Clayton, I guess will not be at a Senate hearing today. It seems to put the nomination process on hold. And the President says that Bill Pulte will remain as Acting Director of National Intelligence for now. The President also said he refused to approve fisa, the surveillance law without a voter ID bill, the Save America act attached to it, which is a no go for Democrats, as Punchbowl puts it. All of this together spells disaster for Senate Majority Leader John Thune. I'm not looking at an Ivy League graduate that that has worked in the Agency and then gone to an international gun work for an international investment bank and then gone to a private equity firm and then dipped in and out administrations. I'm looking for a brawler, right? I think I want a brawler. Everybody should take that as the equivalent of a papal bull. He picked a fighter. You should take that as a papal bull. He's sending you a signal. Action, action, action. It's Wednesday the 17th of June in the year of our Lord 2026. Overnight explosive, whether it's the deal in Iran, a criminal investigations we told you was going to happen on this leak to the New York Times writer Haberman and and Jonathan Swan. But the biggest news obviously the President I state is in the middle of the night here, but I guess maybe 4:00 in the morning, 5:00 in the morning there put out a true social. Jack Bosoba, you're with me. We got about a minute. We're going to go to break. You saw in Warner. What did Warner say? The first question I'm going to ask Jay Clayton is who won the 2020 election? What we're really afraid is of getting in there and putting their hands on election fraud. He says Tulsi Gabbard went to went to Fulton County. Hey, Warner, you damn right we know exactly what you fear. And this is why Bill Pulte is going in for at least three or four months as the acting director of dni. And Tom Cotton. Can we get Tom Cotton? People in Arkansas, you should be humiliated that Cotton represents you. After the President United States put that true social up. With all the pressure he's got trying to solve this deal and dealing with those clowns over the G7. Cotton puts up a tweet that says, we intend to have this hearing today and we want Jay Clayton to show up. Cotton should be turfed out for this. You're out of control. You already. You're already completely owned by the Mossad and aipac. It is disgusting that you're sitting there and challenging the President United States. The rot in the Senate goes deep. It just ain't thune. It's Cotton. It's Lindsey Graham. It's all of them. They're going to challenge the President United States. Bill Pulte's going in his DNI and you're going to like it because it's happening Posto. Give me 30 seconds before you go to break.
Stephen K. Bannon
Steve. They're telling you exactly where their weak point is. They're telling you exactly where the vulnerability is and why they are terrified. Why the elites are terrified of Bill the Bulldog Polti.
Jim Rickards
Hang on.
Jack Posobiec
Poso is with us. Rickards is going to join us. We're going to break this all down as we've done all week. Want to thank the folks at the summit last night. Part of that was my throwdown out there. The folks out in Vegas. Posos with us. Rickards is with us. DNI next. Buy gold and put some silver in your pocket. I know what you're thinking. Everything's expensive right now. Giving them the keys to the 18 intelligence agencies would be a disaster and, and a national security threat.
Jack Posobiec
He will do anything. President Trump is Commander in Chief of the United States. You damn right he's going to do what President Trump wants. That's the problem. And they tell you exactly. Election integrity. We're going to ask, we're going to ask. We're going to ask his first question. Who won 2020? Guess what? Donald John Trump did. Even Hillary's coming out and saying the thing was a huge mistake to, to put Biden in and to run him again. All of it, it's right there in living color. This is why Pulte has to go in. Any staffer that fights, that ought to be turfed out immediately. Any senator or congressman that, anybody in the Senate Republican that shows up to that hearing today and wants Jay Clayton there for some kind of media thing. Turf them out. Turf them out. Poso, your thoughts, sir?
Stephen K. Bannon
Well, Steve, we look at this and we know there's only a few things that spark the pathogen response from the elite club of the swamp, like election integrity or digging into the Wuhan Institute of Virology. And all of this. Something has them spooked. And that's something they're telling us more clearly now is if Bill Pulte goes in and starts pulling records, as pertains to Fulton County, Georgia, where we just had a massive election last night, by the way. Mike Collins, of course, getting a huge victory over John Ossoff, an incredible patriot, by the way. But these guys are terrified. They're saying that, wait, Pulte goes in there, he won't play by the sheet of music that we present, you see, Steve, because it's all about the Senate Intelligence Committee. And that's why Senator Cotton, I posted up the link, by the way, to True Social. Maybe Senator Cotton staff forgot to show him that link to. The president has already canceled the hearing today. So there's no hearing that's going to be happening.
Jim Rickards
Hang on.
Jack Posobiec
Full stop, full stop, full stop. Go to that. Put it back. Put, put, put what Trump said, Jack, you walk the audience through this. The Commander in Chief of the United States canceled that in the wee hours of morning here in, you know, about, I guess about four or five o' clock over there, he canceled. He couldn't have been any, he couldn't six out. He couldn't be blunt. I want you to walk us through that and then I want to see what Cotton just said. We're going to have the hearing anyway, Jack, walk us through it.
Stephen K. Bannon
Yes, Steve, it's real clear we have something called the United States Constitution. It's the operating document upon which the this government exercises authority in the country. And under the Constitution, the president makes the appointments. The president, not the Senate, not the head of the Senate intel community, the president. And it is the president who then gets the advice and consent of the Senate after the appointments take place. So there's no appointments that happen without the president. The president. President says that an appointment or a hearing or any of this is canceled, then you have to stand down. That's the way it works. We have a system of co. Equal branches in this country. There's not. Now we could talk about the judiciary on that. Something which in which I agree with Mark Levin, by the way, that there is no call for any senator to say that we're going to put up an appointment that the president has already pulled down. That's what he said. He said, you know what? We're done with this game. If you guys want to not make good on the deal that we have already made with you, then we're going to pull down our appointment. We're going to allow Bill Pulte to go in. Build the Bulldog. But you guys seem to have such a huge problem with the president himself. Steve said it even before we came out this week. He was up on Sunday watching the news clips back home while he was, or excuse me, it was Monday morning after the ufc and he's watching on the plane as he's on his way to France and said, why are they so terrified of Bill the Bulldog Pulte? Why are they so terrified of him going down to Fulton County? Why are they so terrified of him pulling their seats, looking at what Tulsi has already been digging on, already been digging up down there because we saw when she showed up there was a problem. And Steve, I'm just going to say it. Could it be. Could it be that there was some kind of foreign interference or some kind of penetration of those election systems down there in Portland county that leads to a massive, massive problem with that 2020
Jack Posobiec
count has been suppressed. Think about what they said at the end. Well, think about Warner said about the deep state. He said there are department heads in these 17 departments that won't show Pulte anything because they don't think he's qualified. And foreign governments. This is the problem. You get MI5, MI6, you got these other foreign intelligence. The French, they got as much control. The Mossad, they got as much control over your country as you more control than you as American citizens. Mark Warner just said it right there. There's certain department heads that don't think he's qualified and will not show him classified information. And oh, by the way, foreign governments are coming right now. Damn right. I guess Warner, this Warner is another traitor. Cotton's a traitor. All of them are traitors. They got it. They got to be slammed down right now. This Pulte deal is bigger than Pulte. This is about actually who runs the deal. Does the commander in chief are a bunch of grand dunes on people's payrolls over in Capitol Hill, sir.
Stephen K. Bannon
Yes, Steve, again, I go back to Constitution. Donald J. Trump is the President of the United States. That is who runs the government. All information flows from his authority. This is an understanding that was codified into law, but it goes all the way back to. To General George Washington when he was sending those dispatches during the war for the revolution, the war for our country, the war for independence that we are commemorating in just a few days time here up at Valley Forge. That was General Washington's codified secret information about what was coming next with the troop movements of the British were. That is the commander in chief's information does not belong to the department heads, does not belong to international organizations. No, the commander in chief, who, by the way, last time I checked is the commander in chief of the entire United States, every branch of the military, and the most powerful military on the face of the planet, he was elected, not any of them. And Steve, I feel like I'm getting. You know, I feel like I'm getting deja vu because this is the exact same thing that they all said about President Trump. They all said, we can't give this guy. Remember, Steve, they said he's going to be selling classified information to Russia. They said everything under the sun about him.
Mark Levin
We.
Stephen K. Bannon
He got access to classified. Oh, we can't do this. We can't allow this national security threat, et cetera, et cetera. And what did the President do? He declassified intelligence. He declassified information about what the intelligence agencies were up to. And Steve, don't forget that they're all reeling right now because Tulsi Gabbard, what did she do last week? She dropped the report about the Ukrainian biolabs. How many more of those bombshells are sitting on the desk that she probably left for Bill the Bulldog to walk in and start pressing the red button on?
Jack Posobiec
Look, you're a professional from this area. Here's what I've argued from the Beginning. I think Jake Layton will be a fine. I mean, he's not a glass breaker. He's a systems player, like having a systems quarterback. But if you're going to confirm him, do it in a normal way. Not gun decked over five days because you want to jam somebody in there that's beholden to you and keep Bill Pulte out. Jack, as you know, I think it's 10 years. It might be 15 years. I think it's at least 10 years. One of the things you have to file, particularly on a high security clearance, is every foreign. Every foreign meeting you've had in the last 10 years. Jay Clayton was the managing partner of the executive committee of Sullivan and Cromwell, which is a known law firm that, let's say this has a lot of intelligence expertise. It was the law firm of John Foster Dulles when he and Wild Bill Donovan set up OSS and then set up the CIA afterwards. John Foster Dulles is, you know, considered one of the guys that Kennedy, you know, had a belly full of, and he and his brother, Allen Dulles, and ran him out of there when he wanted to break up the CIA. What Clayton has to do, and because you have thousands of contacts, he's also been the general counsel of Alibaba when Alibaba went public. And Alibaba is now designated the technology side as a Chinese military asset. I got a minute. I want you to hold it through, but just a regular process to fill it out will take a couple of months. That's what the President's saying. Let's send Fulte in while we're going through a normal order of a confirmation of Jay Clayton.
Stephen K. Bannon
Well, and so, Steve, what you're referring to is called the ssbi, the Single Scope Background investigation. Even. Even me coming in as a, as an enlisted sailor when I had my first SSBI that they were going through Facebook contacts, you know, who do you. Who you matching with on Facebook? Who were you, you know, friends with on here? Have you. You know, I traveled to China for two years, so of course, I had to go through all that. I had to give addresses, I had to give this where I worked. This is who you can contact, point of contact for each of them. And they have to make contact with each point person along the way. And Steve, by the way, it's not just contacts, it's finances. They have to go through all your finances as well to make sure that you don't have a couple, three things that could be used potentially as leverage for you, not just when you have access to classified information as you do would in the case of an intelligence asset or intelligence officer. But now you're the Director of National intelligence. So it's 10 times more important to make sure that you don't have any foreign entanglements that could be used as leverage.
Jack Posobiec
Jack, I know you are busy, but I gotta have you hold through the break. I gotta talk to you about the deal. The 12 or 14 points was put up by Bloomberg earlier this morning. Stephen K. Bannon
War room here's your host, Stephen K. Banner.
Jack Posobiec
President Trump's doing a bilat with Modi Love Modi, a hardcore tough nationalist
Mark Levin
and
Jack Posobiec
we got that in the box you can go through. I think that's streaming or may just wrapped up. They're behind close closed doors. We'll put those up throughout the morning. I think the President is doing a presser we're going to cover that. So we're juggling posobic the 12. Bloomberg printed the 12 point, the 12 point deal. I would observe that this is not negotiated by Donald John Trump. Right. At least the 12 things I saw. So what do you got? What are your thoughts, Steve?
Stephen K. Bannon
So the president, actually, I don't. The president must be watching War Room right now because he sit up there with Modi and he just started talking about Bill Pulte. I've just seen the clip. I'll send it over to the engine room staff here at the War Room. But he said exactly the same thing. He said they are working on. He said this is a rush job by the Democrats. That Bill Pulte is a smart guy, he's an intelligent guy, he's a brilliant guy who's done an incredible job, made a ton of money over at Fannie and Freddie for the government, was able to fix those systems and said, wait a minute, why are they doing a rush job? This is the president United States. I'm paraphrasing right here. As he's sitting with Modi, he said, why are they doing this rush job to get the new guy in without giving us anything. Where's the Save America Act? And he goes in, why don't I have the Save America Act? If all of a sudden you guys are pushing this and he goes, where's my single person voting? Where's my no mail in ballots? Where's my single day voting? Where's voter id? We want all of this. And then they're going to take away Pulte and they're doing away with the. Now they're saying the FIS act isn't good enough. And he's, he's playing full hardball with him.
Jack Posobiec
But this is a Trump negotiation. Trump saying, hey, first you're not giving me Save America so I can't clean up the mess. Oh, by the way, you're petrified of Pulte going in because he's going to find the receipts for the mess. Okay, so we're not doing this anymore. Pulte is going to go in and John Thune, before you do anything, you're going to, you're going to attach. I don't care what it is, you're going to attach Save America. This is what we've hoped for, a throwdown that leads to a showdown. We need a showdown with the Senate. The Senate is treating President Trump as a lame duck. That has to end or we're going to lose the Senate. That's why I keep Saying, nobody in this audience, nobody throughout the country. I talked to them. They have no intention of going door to door and canvassing for these deadbeat senators. Jack Posobic.
Stephen K. Bannon
Now, see, that's exactly right. Look, this is what we were saying all last week. The Senate doesn't have the leverage here. President Trump has the leverage here. If they want something so bad when what are they willing to concede? What are they willing to give up? This is where the Save America act comes in. And by the way, the President doesn't want fisa. There's no one who's been more abused by FISA than President Donald J. Trump. So they need to go to him to say, Mr. President, please, please, could we get some extension? We'll put some protections in. I'd love to see FISA reform on this, by the way, or maybe even scrap the thing and create an entire new system. Right. That'd be my pie in the sky choice for all of this. But, Steve, what the President is sitting there doing, saying, wait a minute, you're asking me to sign off on all this stuff and you're not giving me anything. You're not giving me a dime, you're not giving me a crumb. And then I'm sure that the President's crack staff sent him that Senator Cotton tweet and said that they're defying you, said, you know something, fine. Not only are we throwing down on Pulte, we're also bringing back the Save America act because you know something, the price just got a little bit higher.
Jack Posobiec
Higher. Suck on this. Right. It just goes up.
Stephen K. Bannon
The price of the brick going up. Price of the brick going up.
Jack Posobiec
Before I lose you, the 12 or 14 point plan Bloomberg leaked, somebody gave it to him, obviously, some. And they put it out today. So it's all out there. Have you had a chance to go through it, sir?
Stephen K. Bannon
Well, Steve, I've gone through, but I see that I've got a 12 point plan from Bloomberg, I've got a 14 point plan from CNN. We've got all sorts of different pieces of this floating around. And of course, the White House is pushing back. I saw Stephen Chong was pushing back and said, this is not comport with reality for what we're seeing with the MoU. And so, you know, we do need to wait for the White House to actually put that out. I do think the President is using a little bit of his flair for the theatrical here. He wants people asking what's in it. He wants to be the one that releases it himself. Of course he Knows how to build the drama on this. That's clearly what he's using here for that. But, but look, when it comes down to it, Steve, this 300 billion. I keep seeing the mainstream media lying about the 300 billion. This isn't it. There's not a dime of u. S. Taxpayer funds that are going towards that or any of this. He's talking about investment.
Jim Rickards
Hang on.
Stephen K. Bannon
That might be used by the Gulf nations.
Jack Posobiec
I know, but. Hang on, hang on, hang on.
Jim Rickards
But.
Jack Posobiec
Yeah, but why don't we. We don't want to be involved with these people going forward. Even the concept.
Stephen K. Bannon
But it's not being involved. If the gulf nations want to go in, they can go in.
Jack Posobiec
No, no, no, no. When you set up an investment fund to be part of it, trust me, we'll be in there. You'll be approving projects. How about this? The gulf nations and I think the president said half of money's already raised, right? 150 billion or whatever from the Emirates. Hey, how about going to US how about a little something for the effort? What about, first off, they have $100 billion that they want. 24 billion in this thing. They got 100 billion. We've frozen throughout the world. Now we can't get our hands on all of it. Some of the CCP and CCP banks, but there's enough out there. Why don't we sweep that for our own account? Number one, that shouldn't go. Listen, you know that you're one of the most strongest advocates about not getting into this war. The intelligence was all cooked. We cannot stand the greater Israel project, although we say that we should defend Israel or work with Israel. But now in this deal, they want their sovereignty. They should be cut loose. They go do Hezbollah and whoever else they do as an independent sovereign nation. Go do it. But we can't get in the business of giving these guys all this money and give them access. We got the sanctions. Keep the sanctions on. Don't let them sell any oil. Don't put in $300 billion to let anybody do it. Take the 100 billion they got. Sweep it. How about paying for the crap that we've been doing? We've got three carrier battle groups. Pay for every piece of cost that we got, Jack. And then how about this? How about a bonus for the sailors on the Iranian money? How about a little bonus for it for being over there for months and months and months? I think we're looking at this cockeyed. We shouldn't be doing anything for these people.
Stephen K. Bannon
Right?
Jack Posobiec
Pull out and let that, let, let the Saudis, uae, Qatar and the European nations who, who have to get that oil. Also the ccp, maybe South Korea and Japan, you figure it out. With the pirates in the Hormuz Straits, you figured out. And, and he's on the Red Sea, you figured out.
Stephen K. Bannon
Steve, you want to, you want to go?
Jack Posobiec
We'll keep the, we'll keep the battle group, we'll keep the battle group out there on ready because we've got to put a battle group somewhere. We don't want the Med. Screw Europe, okay? Just put it, just put it permanently out there, steam it back and forth. We go to UK and say we're buying Diego Garcia. We import it out of there, right? Bob's your uncle, sir.
Stephen K. Bannon
No, I'll, I'll, I'll do you one better. How about not, not just for the sailors, of course, and for the families of the fallen that we lost at the outside of this. I don't want to lose sight of that either. But also, Steve, how about for the American people? For the American people, a summer long tax holiday that is underwritten by every single member of the coalition of these Middle Eastern nations that came in, that we did, we went in, that we defended, whether it be the Gulf nations and by the way, that includes Israel.
Jack Posobiec
I love it. I love it. Hey everybody, chips in.
Stephen K. Bannon
Summer long tax holiday.
Jack Posobiec
I don't think we need Israel's cash, but I want to take the Persian Gulf. All these guys putting in for the reconstruction fund. It's reconstruction the American economy. We're going to take the money and we ought to take every penny.
Stephen K. Bannon
Well, see, maybe we just draw down on the, on the accounts that we're sending over. Maybe, maybe we pay for it by not sending as much money to the Middle East.
Jack Posobiec
Just saying, hey, here's the thing that we know that the people, the Persians took to the streets when Scott Besin started destroying their currency and Rickard's gonna be in a second. He's a currency war guy, you know, unfortunately, 40 or 20,000, 30,000, I don't know what the number is. A lot of them died, but they were up in arms and in the streets. That's what you need to do, bring down their economy. And we don't need any kinetic activity. And all we need to do is keep the one carrier battle group out there on the ready, which is not bad. We're steaming around there just as like we're steaming around the South China Sea. Keep one there and one there. We got them boxed up. I like this plan. No money for the Persians. How does that sound? No.
Jim Rickards
Cash.
Jack Posobiec
Cash for Americans. You like that?
Stephen K. Bannon
Cash for Americans. I love it. Cash for Americans And a tank of fuel in your car. A tank of fuel in your car for the summer.
Jack Posobiec
Now, Jack, I get it. You're going to leave here, but this hearing is supposed to start exactly at the moment that Human Events Daily comes on at 2 o'. Clock. It's supposed to be at 2 o'.
Jim Rickards
Clock.
Jack Posobiec
Walk me through how you're going to prep for your show today. Are you going to be calling out Cotton? You're going to be calling these people? Is Jake. If. If Jay Clayton shows up? I think Jay Clayton then is not going to be the nominee. I think the President's already kind of put a warning shot there. Hey, this thing is canceled. My nominee is not going up. Your thoughts?
Stephen K. Bannon
Well, Steve, that's exactly right. The President, United States is the one who makes the appointments. It is not the department heads. It is not Mark Werner. It is not Elizabeth Warren. It is not Chuck Schumer. It is not Hakeem Jeffries. His name is Donald J. Trump. He is the one who won in 2016 and 2024. And, gosh, I would love to see what Fulton county says about who won in 2020. I love to see the tail of the tape down there. But of course, Steve. Yes. So I have my post up to Senator Cotton, updating him on what the President has said, has already announced regarding that hearing. We will certainly see what comes down. And I'm already working on communications with various members of, let's just say various members of Washington, D.C. various elected officials, to see what exactly is going on this afternoon.
Jack Posobiec
I tell you, Jack, you dressed up. You think you were going over to DNI today for your first day on the job. We're not breaking news here. I don't want the media to be in full meltdown. You're the Associated Press of the American first and Maga movement. Sir, your Twitter feed. Where do people go?
Stephen K. Bannon
Yeah, people want to go follow me. Just go to Twitter and look up Mark Levin, because apparently he's been tweeting about me all day, all night. He's got pozo on the brain. So, you know, you just go follow.
Jack Posobiec
You went there. You went there. So hang on. Can Denver put up the obsession When I sent you guys, the obsession thing.
Jim Rickards
Look.
Stephen K. Bannon
Oh, my gosh.
Jim Rickards
Hang on.
Jack Posobiec
Levin, the Tel Aviv Levin has. All night long he'd been putting up stuff, and I don't. It's getting uncomfortably his. What he's putting up Jack is getting uncomfortably homoerotic, right? Is he like got a thing for you? Is he obsessed by Jack Boa? Because there's something weird going on, right? A grown man, a grown ass man doesn't do what Mark Levin's doing. So what, what is the story here? I don't want to get into the psychoanalysis of Tel Aviv but you know, he's living in his bunker somewhere in some billionaires island off of Florida. What is going on here? What is the obsession about?
Stephen K. Bannon
Well, he's got, he's got some kind of obsession. He's talking about oh this, this, this young Polish man from, from Norristown, right down the road by the way from Cheltenham. We both went to the same school, Temple University. So you know. Look, look Mark, if you want to, if you want to go hang out, eat some Polish food. You want to go eat some, eat some, eat some kabasi, go eat some pierogies. Let's go for it man. I'm all in.
Jack Posobiec
I don't know man, it's getting very weird there. Pasopic one more time, your Twitter feed
Stephen K. Bannon
now of course at Jackposopic.
Jack Posobiec
Jack, thank you so much. Appreciate you coming on this morning breaking all down for us. We're gonna take.

But we work together. We love all of those people and they're great people.
Jack Posobiec
How long do you expect Bill Pulte
Jim Rickards
to be acting DNA?
Well, as long as it takes to get everybody else. I mean, they were doing a rush act and we didn't get anything for it. Look, he's a very legitimate guy. He's very smart, he's a brilliant guy. Look at the job he did at Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac. I mean, it's worth probably a trillion dollars right now. So we put him there. But all of a sudden it was like a rush act by the Democrats and they said they were going to approve fisa. And I said, but we want FISA approved, but we want to save it America act approved. Voter id, proof of citizenship, no mail in ballots with exceptions like for the military. Sick. You're sick, you're traveling. Disabled. Very, you know, open and generous. We also want no men playing in women's sports. So we want no transgender utilization of our children. None. Those are five things that are 99% percent to. I mean, that's all we want. It's not a lot. The Save America act. And that can be passed any way they want to pass it, but I'm not going to sign FISA unless it's done. And this was like a rush act and it was a rush act by the Democrats. All of a sudden they want to get. And why are they afraid of this guy? I mean, they're so afraid of him, they'll do anything not to have Pulte go in there. He's a very capable guy and they're worried about that.
Mark Levin
Mr. President,
Jack Posobiec
Jim, you're here, you're going to break down the geopolitics and geo economics of the deal. But I got to ask you this because you've worked in the intelligence, you and Fadis are CIA alum, just do a reset. Where are we on this and why has the whole you talk about politics being divided, the apparatus has unified over the topic of Bill Pulte. That he must not. That's the name you must not say. And he will never set foot in dni. Jim Rickards, your thoughts, right?
Jim Rickards
Yeah. I was a secret agent for 10 years. My security clearance was so high, I can't even tell you how high it was. It's classified. Anyway, point. I can't think of a better choice than Bill Pulte. I mean, I was inside, did a lot of missions, et cetera. Can't think of a better choice because, well, he's obviously highly intelligent, but he's also got the technological skills you need. That quick aside, I did a mission in a denied area. I won't say which country, wrote a report, got back this junior analyst came up to me and she said, jim, I hear you know a lot about this country. She was working on the same case. I said, yeah, have you read my report? And she said, no. I said, I'll tell you what, I'll give you two weeks. Try to find it. Ask around. She had all the security clearances. I said, if you can't find it, I'll give you a copy myself. But let's just see. I came back two weeks later. She couldn't find it. As if it didn't exist. That's how close and compartmentalized things are inside the agency. Unless you have someone like Palti, you're never going to break that. You're never going to get in the deep state. You're never going to break that mold. And by the way, your comparison of a Kennedy firing Allen Dulles to BRINGING IN John McCone is exactly on point. You got to get rid of these people.
Jack Posobiec
Hang on. Give us, you know, the history there. This is very important, by the way. John Foster Dulles was Secretary of State, but that was back when the State Department was almost an intelligent intelligence operation and of itself, as it really stood up. The CIA,
Jim Rickards
the State Department has their own. The State Department has their own intelligence agency inside the State Department. So does the treasury, by the way. Some of them are pretty good, actually. One of the best ones I ever worked with was the Department of Energy, but it was. We have CIA d. And I would get it, but these major cabinet departments have their own intelligence agencies inside.
Jack Posobiec
Talk to us about. We've had this before. Kennedy with Allen Dulles, the Bay of Pigs. He was lied to, misled, a ton of things. He moved on them, too, did he not, sir?
Jim Rickards
Yeah. John Foster Dulles. Allen Dulles are brothers. One's running the State Department, one's run the CIA for the entire 1950s. Allen Dulles goes back before the early 60s. They lied to Kennedy about the Bay of Pigs. Kennedy, to his credit, took responsibility. He was lied to, but he stood up and said, you know, this was us and I'm the president and I take responsibility for it. But he fired Allen Dulles in a heartbeat and brought in John McCone, who had military background. And they cleaned the place up for a while. I mean, it tends to go off track further down the road. But even that, even with John McCone, who was a very good director, they were still trying to assassinate Castro with these, you know, exploding coral reefs and poison cigars and everything else. So it's. They're pretty. Pretty incorrigible. But all the more reason to bring in Bill Pulte.
Jack Posobiec
Well, I believe they had something to do with the assassination of President Diem in Vietnam. And I'm not so sure they got a clean skirt on Jack Kennedy, but that's a topic for a different day. We're going to go to break. I just start to break down the 12 part deal. Chung saying, hey, they're 14 points here, 12 points here. Just give us an overview for a couple of minutes. I'm going to hold you through the break and we're going to continue on. What are your thoughts when you first see this?
Jim Rickards
Yeah, I mean, I got the deal right here that it's out there. It's everything Iran wanted and practically nothing that the United States wanted. In that sense, it's at best to retreat and probably a surrender and. And Iran won the war. So they get this $300 billion reconstruction fund, reopen the strait. Yeah, but they get to charge tolls. They get their oil back on the market at a higher price than before the war began. I mentioned our last interview that the new generation of Iranian leadership, religious, civil and military are younger, significantly younger than the older generation. They were born after the revolution of 79. They're more robust. Iran is more united and in every respect. And you said, you know, Jack said if the Gulf states give to Iran, that's not our money. Well, sorry, where do they get their money from?
Mark Levin
Oil.
Jim Rickards
Who pays that? The American everyday Americans pay it at the pump. So kind of is our money through the back door. So yeah, Iran gets a 300 billion reconstruction fund, release of the 24 billion or so of US frozen assets, get to charge tolls in the Straits of Hormuz. US has to withdraw from the region. They say they're not going to build a nuclear weapon, but they said that 10 years ago. And they've got 60%, about 1,000 pounds of 60% enriched uranium which is not far from being able to be detonated as a nuclear device. So there's practically nothing in it for the United States except get the oil flowing and everything around one. It's a wish list.
Jack Posobiec
When I come back, I want to take time on the economic warfare part of this. This was not easy to set up the sanctions and as you know to get countries to go along with sanctions and not be double dealing you to actually freeze the assets with the Swiss system to keep their hundred billion dollars of cash in, in various banks and things around the world. The fleet being there, the architecture of economic warfare, the currency which you're an expert on and Scott Besson took their currency down in January. The architectomics or the architecture of economic warfare, you just can't be pulling these things. We've got a system in place to keep them on their heels and keep them broke. Okay. As much trouble as they can cause. And I agree with you, these are tough hombres and maybe you got to put more pressure on the people. It's a horrible thing to say, but you got to put more pressure on the people so they overthrow. It's there, it's, it's only going to make sense. It's not a top down decapitation. It's got to come from the streets. The way you get to the streets is through their bellies. Short break. Do you owe back taxes or you haven't filed your taxes in years? Now is the time to resolve your tax matters. With the national conversation around abolishing the income tax. Title: Deep State Panics Over Pulte Push For DNI
Date: June 17, 2026
Host: Steve Bannon (WarRoom.org)
Notable Guests: Mark Levin, Jack Posobiec, Jim Rickards
This episode centers on the political and national security drama surrounding President Trump's appointment of Bill Pulte as Acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI), following the withdrawal (or hasty re-nomination) of Jay Clayton. The War Room crew, featuring major voices on the right, articulates deep skepticism and opposition among establishment Republicans and Democrats toward Pulte — viewing the resistance as "Deep State panic." The conversation also unpacks related topics: FISA Section 702 expiration, the Save America Act, election integrity, and a controversial Middle East/Iran deal.
Sidelining the President? Panelists argue that entrenched intelligence bureaucrats — and their allies in Congress — are ignoring or actively defying presidential authority over appointments.
Comparisons to Historic CIA Purges:
Foreign Government Concerns: Intel leaders claim that foreign intelligence allies (e.g., MI5, Mossad) worry about Pulte mishandling secrets, intensifying the sense of institutional panic.
Rickards Analysis (51:02):
Strategy of Hard Economic Pressure:
“If that group hates Bill Pulte so much, then above all else, Bill Pulte must get in.”
– Jack Posobiec (02:59)
“Having him [Pulte], who doesn’t even have a security clearance, with the keys to the 18 intelligence agencies would be a disaster and a national security threat.”
– Mark Levin (02:13 / 17:42)
“They're terrified of him going down to Fulton County, of him looking at what Tulsi has already been digging on... Could it be that there was some kind of foreign interference or penetration of those election systems?”
– Jack Posobiec (21:08)
“It’s the operating document upon which this government exercises authority... The President, not the Senate, makes the appointments. If the President says that an appointment or hearing is canceled, you have to stand down.”
– Steve Bannon (20:58)
"I was a secret agent for 10 years... I can't think of a better choice than Bill Pulte... He's obviously highly intelligent, but he's also got the technological skills you need... Unless you have someone like Pulte, you're never going to break the deep state."
– Jim Rickards (47:49)
“The price just got a little bit higher. Suck on this. Right? It just goes up. The price of the brick going up.”
– Bannon & Posobiec (34:07)
This War Room episode dramatizes the internal GOP/D.C.-vs-Trump movement battle, with the proposed appointment of Bill Pulte to DNI as a flashpoint for wider struggles: control of intelligence oversight, election integrity, and America’s approach to surveillance and foreign policy. The discussion is fervently anti-establishment, viewing Senate opposition as proof of justified distrust in the intelligence/Deep State apparatus, and sets the table for further escalation between Trump’s White House and Congress in the days ahead.
