Stephen K. Bannon
Do we have any clarity on when the deal will be signed?
Unidentified Government Official
When the memorandum over the next. I'd say 48 hours.
Kurt Mills
48 hours.
Stephen K. Bannon
And the 50 bands?
Unidentified Government Official
I'd say 48 hours. We haven't, we haven't determined yet. It's in final form. We haven't determined.
Kurt Mills
You said you don't mind Iran having ballistic missiles. Can you elaborate on that?
Natalie Winters
I want to make sure we understand your position.
Unidentified Government Official
No, I want, I'm saying that if other countries have them, it's a little bit unfair for them not to have some. A ballistic missile is not the same thing as what we're talking about. Talk nuclear. But if Saudi Arabia and Qatar and they all have some, I would say in relative proportion, I think it's okay. That's what I mean.
Stephen K. Bannon
It's, there's no question in my mind that it's Iran. This isn't a. It's, again, the United States and Israel went to war with Iran. We hit them with our hardest punch, at least in terms of airstrikes. And Iran is leaving this with 60 days of no tolls on the Strait of Hormuz. They actually, there's room for them to have tolls in the Strait. There's room for them to have as many missiles as they want. There's no limit on that. There's no limit at all in the proxies that they're funding around the region. And just the change in the president's tone where he's like, you know, the Iranians are smart, they're good negotiators. There's this new generation that's going to embrace trade and being part of the global economy, that dropping, you know, $1 billion worth of bombs wasn't really, didn't really do anything. But what did was this naval blockade.

He said it, the stories made in
Stephen K. Bannon
Gasan of the Iran memorandum that says no use of force, but also no threat of a use of force. You talked about bombing Iran if they didn't comply. Is that a threat?
Natalie Winters
Would the Iranians see that as if they don't.
Unidentified Government Official
If they don't come through, is it a threat that we bomb? You could call whatever you want, but it'll probably happen. Thank you. I will see you at Versailles. And you're going to go back and tell the New York Times you're going to change your whole way of life.
Narrator / News Analyst
He had one very critical goal, and that was to make clear that this agreement that he has reached with Iran is different from that Obama era Iran deal that he has been so critical of and that this was a good agreement for the United States and tried to convince the skeptical American public that includes so many Republicans. As you just so clearly laid out, the President said that this deal ensured that Iran will not procure or produce a nuclear weapon. It says it will reopen the Strait of Hormuz, that critical oil thoroughfare. He also defended the waivers that allow Iran to export oil, as well as a provision that will have the U.S. along with regional partners, help develop a $300 billion economic development and rebuilding fund for Iran. The President making clear, though it still remains unclear exactly how this will work, that the US Will not be providing money directly there, also said that ending this conflict is going to avoid very notably in his words, economic catastrophe. And he warned that that would have happened if this conflict kept on going. Said he didn't want to be compared to Herbert Hoover. Notably, that's the US President who presided over the Great Depression. Now, the President signed a hard copy of this agreement at the palace of Versailles before traveling back to Washington. And what's really unclear right now is whether the 60 day clock for the very challenging technical negotiations ahead is actually already started or if it will start later this week when Vice President J.D. vance heads to Switzerland for a signing ceremony. Now meanwhile, the White House fielding all of this criticism and as you saw there, the President pushing back, saying that his critics were jealous or stupid. Senator, are you okay with Iran having missiles?
Senator (Unnamed)
You know, I'm hesitating. I'd prefer that they not. I certainly don't want them have long distance missiles. I don't want them to have nuclear armed missiles. I would prefer they didn't. But I don't think that's the key issue here. I think that they have to be able to defend themselves. And I just kind of come back to the big picture here, is that the Middle east countries like this agreement,
Natalie Winters
you think Iran needs to be able to defend itself?
Senator (Unnamed)
I do. I think that they have to be able to defend themselves. Otherwise we turn this into a forever war. You're never going to get them short of, of boots on the ground, of surrendering everything. An unconditional agreement if you will. But it, but again, what I'm getting at here is this agreement has the support of all, most of the countries in the Middle east. And I think that's going to give it more of a long lasting relationship, a long lasting success as well.
Natalie Winters
How does Israel react to this?
Stephen K. Bannon
Not very well. I mean, if you weren't Israeli listening to that, particularly the part about it's no big deal that Iran has missiles. Sure, I have no problem. You know, look, Saudi Arabia gets that,
Natalie Winters
has my fire a missile or two into Israel.
Stephen K. Bannon
And again, just the numbers. I think there's a chance of trying to write this story, but some of these keeps happening, that Bibi Netanyahu will try to scuttle this deal somehow.
Sam Faddis
Yeah.
Stephen K. Bannon
You know, will continue the fighting in Lebanon. It's very clear. Another win for Iran. This is a cease fire. That includes Lebanon and the withdrawal of Israeli troops. That's a huge win for Iran. So I could see a serious break with Bibi Netanyahu about this. But if you're an Israeli, that's not. There isn't even a nuclear deal here. There's no agreement on the terms of what's going to happen to Iran's nuclear program.
Sam Faddis
I strongly disagree with something the President said today. I heard him say one other time too, which is if we hadn't attacked Iran, Israel would not exist. It would have been destroyed. That's simply not true. It's simply not true. For 12 days, Israel fought a year ago against the Iranian regime before we did. Destroyed its ground to air missiles, destroyed its Soviet and Russian radar systems, destroyed much of its air force, destroyed much of any of its defenses for 12 days. We went in on the 13th day with our great bombers and those bombs and we hit those nuclear sites. But Israel has some very, very powerful weapons that it has, has not used. I don't know this firsthand. Just go online and read about it. It's a secret that's not so secretive. And they've had him for decades. Israel will survive. Period.

This is the primal scream of a dying regime. Pray for our enemies because we're going medieval on these people. I got a free shot. All these networks lying about the people, the people have had a belly full of it. I know you don't like hearing that. I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it. It's going to happen. And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
Natalie Winters
MAGA Media.
Advertisement Voice / Host
I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience. Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
Sam Faddis
If that answer is to save my
Natalie Winters
country, this country will be saved.
Sam Faddis
War room, here's your host, Stephen K. Band.
Natalie Winters
Good morning, war room posse. It's Natalie winters here. It's June 18th in the year of our Lord 2026. We have a packed show, as you can probably guess, not very long cold open here in the I guess I would say fog of war, but I guess maybe now it's the fog of mou. Even getting some of the clarifying text doesn't provide a lot of detail, but who knows? We trust President Trump here, but we certainly want to get some answers. That's why I want to bring on our first guest. We got Kurt Mills who's going to break it down for us. Then we'll get some Sam Faddis. We've got a new break in substack we're going to get into too in the latest with the Chinese quest to embed themselves within our AI ecosystem here. But Kurt, I want to get your reactions to that cold open and just more broadly, I feel like I have you on all the time and I'm asking you where, where we stand in this, but I think maybe this is the first time where we have a little more movement. But I'm curious your thoughts.
Kurt Mills
Yeah, I mean, look, I think this isn't that complex. The US and the Islamic Republic of Iran have come up to have come to an accommodation that I think will prevent the Iranians from getting a nuclear weapon, reopen this trade of Hormuz and cool, where I should say spike global markets and cool prices. I think this is a clear win for the administration, a clear win for President Trump and his team. And, you know, I think the people who don't like it are number one hawks in the party that resisted Trump's initial rise to power, the sort of never Trump crusade. You know, Iran is always been what they were about and that's not what Trump ran on in 2016 or 2024, particularly and secondarily Israel, which is a separate country from the United States. Although sometimes it gets very difficult to decipher whether or not the people who make these arguments actually believe that.
Natalie Winters
I'm curious if you think the sort of singling it out to the neocon opposition to this, the Mark Levins, who I thought your comment about his pin getting bigger and bigger every show is one of the best assessments I've seen in the news lately. But is this because these people just frankly get off on the idea of Iran sort of being our perennial, almost existential threat, obviously not looking at China that way. Or is it because you think they actually have substantive critiques with how the deals with Iran? You know, what I'm trying to say is it more from a perspective of they just always want to have Iran as sort of something they can milk for conflict. Maybe Israel would go more into that category. Or is it something that they have substantive critiques?
Kurt Mills
No, I don't think they broadly speaking have substantive critiques. I think we've seen this sleight of hand again and again where you know, opponents of any accommodation with the Iranians will say, oh, we have problems with clause 1 or clause 8 or this isn't tough enough or all of a sudden we super care about ballistic missiles and then they'll reveal in any run up to any kind of conflict with Iran that they wanted war from the beginning. And like look, that's fine. This is democracy. If you're an American citizen, if you're, you know, if you want to make an argument for war, go for it, but don't pretend like you, you just want a deal, you just want a little bit better deal. This is what a deal with the Iranians basically looks like. The Iranians get to run their own society. The Iranians commit to nuclear non proliferation and the Iranians, you know, engage in the global system insofar as it affects Americans. And the reality is how, you know, what kind of government that Iran has is not any business of America. It shouldn't be any more so than the type of government that is in Rwanda or Congo or you know, Belarus. It just doesn't matter. And President Trump particularly, you know, ran on fixing problems at home and this is the ultimate distraction. And on Iran particularly, it really is the sort of bogeyman or holy grail for a type of old guard hawk that is, yeah, pretty closely aligned with Israel because as you, you know, correctly point out, if it was just about the power of potential foes for the United States, you know, China and Russia's power dwarfs Iran. So it is very curious how the Reagan wing self declared of the Republican Party is so obsessed with this.
Natalie Winters
No, it's a maniacal obsession. I think it probably register on the like dsm. It's crazy. I'm curious. You use the word pretend, right? And there's a lot of, I think foreign influence ops going around, a lot of people being paid to tweet things, kind of interesting information warfare operations going on. I'm curious from your perspective as someone who has been in the Middle east commentary space for a while, not just a newfound armchair expert like it seems like some of these people on xrp, what can you tell the audience about what they sort of need to look out for or just what that ecosystem actually looks like in terms of, you know, certain American voices being pushed to pedal talking points on behalf of foreign countries on both sides to either sabotage or support the deal.
Kurt Mills
Yeah, I mean look, you don't have to be focusing about bots or even media figures. There are members of this administration. The ambassador to Israel alleged so called is really the ambassador from Israel. Mike Huckabee is, has been openly stating that Netanyahu should potentially find ways to scupper the deal. That elements of the MOU are unacceptable. Mike Huckabee works for the American people. He works for the President of the United States. So this stuff is outrageous. It wouldn't be tolerated in any other country. This would be tolerated with China, this would be tolerated with France. And as to the point that you were getting at about the information space. Yeah. I mean look, it's oftentimes just not very sophisticated. You can look at it online and a lot of these people don't even have American flags in their bios. They have foreign flags in their bios or they have foreign flags first and then third. There's not even really an attempt oftentimes from what I'll call the Israel first crowd to even argue with the American interest is they glide past it, they breeze past it. They take it as a, as a certitude that American interest is either secondary to Israeli national interests or is identical. And of course it's not. And of course they'll technically maintain that there's any difference. But you know, when the rubber meets the road, when the Prime Minister's office in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv doesn't want something, you can be pretty sure which side they're going to defer to. And it's not that side of the United States. Which is, which is a scandal. These are, these are supposed to be Americans.
Natalie Winters

Before I let you go, just give us your sort of broader, broadest assessment of what the policy needs to be looking out for. I know there's a lot of kind of timelines and contingencies on this deal. What do you think are the most important variables that we need to be tracking?
Kurt Mills
Well, I mean, as everyone knows the President, United States loves optics. So this potential handshake with President Eschesky on apparently of Iran tomorrow with President Trump in Switzerland will be, I think, one for the ages. I think it will be important to see how it goes. To my knowledge, I'm not sure the two men have ever met, let alone even spoke on the phone, although that's always a bit murky, you know, how much contact there has been between the White House and the Iranians. And then from there, you know, I think the real timeline is set by the Israeli election in October, unfortunately, and whether or not Benjamin Netanyahu will try to get the United States back in the deal or to sabotage the deal. Because unfortunately, as part of the deal, the US has to constrain its partner or very junior partners, I believe President Trump said yesterday. And if Israel does go back into Lebanon, I think it could danger the, the whole peace. And so I think, you know, this summer is going to be pretty broad on this. And then the Iran hawks are already, the more sophisticated of them are already calling this, you know, Iran, you know, fought this round, you know, this, this round, implying that we, we need to go back and later in 26 or 27. And I think that's just unacceptable. I think, I think Donald Trump didn't change politics. Donald Trump didn't become president of the United States twice over just to be, you know, bogged down in the Middle East. He can focus on other things. I'm happy to talk about it, but as everyone is aware, this was not good for America. This is not good for him. It's time to, to move on and move forward. And I think he's, he's achieved a deal worth celebrating and a deal worth commending. And I think it's one that can protect Americans and move his administration beyond the morass of Hormuz.
Natalie Winters
Thank you, Kurt Mills. If people want to get the magazine, stay up to date with everything you got going on. Where can they go to do that?
Kurt Mills
Yeah, the magazine is theamericanconservative.com www.themericalonservative.com we were founded in 2002 by Pat Buchanan and others against the Iraq war. As you can tell, we're very much against this Iran war and for its end and for this deal. And my own commentary and work is at Curt Mils on X. And you know, you can find me on the Internet. Thank you.
Natalie Winters
Thank you, sir, for joining us in Warren Posse. I will give you a little reprieve from Iran. Iran. Iran. I don't know if I necessarily voted for such an Iran focused news cycle, but then again, I don't think I voted for Mark Zuckerberg to be sitting ringside at ufc. I thought I voted for him to go to prison. But I digress. I've got a new substack up. Everybody should read it. You can subscribe, it's free. That's nataliegwinters.substack.com talking about a little new thing called social justice summer camps. And it's not as bad as it sounds. It's actually worse because they're actually paying kids in some cases hundreds of dollars as young as middle school and high school to go to these extremely radical like color revolution inspired programming, teaching them tactics, not just in protest. One of the classes is actually they teach kids how to burn an effigy, burn things that they say represent oppression and burn them in effigy. Or of course, there's the class quote, loving your trans body. Yeah, that's happening, I think in Wisconsin. And of course all of this goes on while they say they're challenging white supremacy, the patriarchy and heteronormativity. But what gets really interesting, and maybe we need JD Vance and his fraud task force to look into, is one of the groups that is sponsoring and has sort of come up with a template of these summer camps. It's called the Education Justice Coalition. That's an oxymoron if I've ever heard, but that's based in Vermont, of course, but they're actually funded by Vermont's Department of Health, if you can make that make sense. They focus on training kids and identity, LGBTQIA rights, feminism, gun violence, anti racism, disability rights, lawmaking, and youth action where they invite people from Planned Parenthood to come and speak. In Wisconsin, Freedom Inc. Has a Freedom youth organizing camp for only youth of color ages 12 to 18. And there kids would learn public speaking, door knocking, canvassing, data analysis, and specifically to push the quote, no cops in school campaign while pushing their schools to divest from the police. But my personal favorite, and by that I mean should probably see the feds like rate it. Today is the Odyssey Teen Camp, which has programming such as, quote, discuss, protest, change the world, where they make signs. One of the example signs is I want to get this right. Quote, I get my cardio running away from heteronormativity. I don't really know what that is, but this is my favorite quote. They came up with Questions like what if every family had good food on their table every night? What if I relied on my neighbors to look out for me instead of the police? What if my college was free? Free? What would it take for my trans and non binary friends to feel safe and happy in this world? Their questions and ideas reminded me of something my friend and co counsel, co counselor Georgios often said. While we're at camp, quote, we are creating our own little utopia. Let that sink in again. Middle school and high school kids are on the receiving end of this and getting paid hundreds of dollars to attend. I think another good one is Effigy Burning. Quote, this class uses a little witchcraft to bring catharsis. We build cardboard representations of oppressions and injustices and then burned them up in a campfire. This is certainly a different take on summer camp and like I said, in some cases being funded by state government, but being funded by of course all the weird shady left wing nonprofits that are part of their dark money network that I guess also happen to fund their candidates here in Washington dc. Talk about depravity. And speaking of depravity, I think that's probably a good word to describe how elections are run in Los Angeles and maybe Los Angeles as a whole. But I'm optimistic. It's naturally beautiful. I hope we can save it. I thought Spencer Pratt gave us a good chance. But of course the machine out there gives Chicago a run for its money and doing what it does best, which is fix elections. Sam Pattis, before we get into all things Iran with you, I want to just give you a chance. I know you have some, some thoughts, probably some great writing too on everything going on in la, the mayoral race there. Can you bring the audience up to speed with what's happening?
Sam Faddis
Right. By the way, I will not be attending either the Effigy Burning or the Loving the Transbody seminars or whatever. Those were just for the record noted. So just want everybody to be clear. Look, we there they just had what under California law is the primary for race for the mayor of Los Angeles. I phrase it that way because they have what amounts to sort of a primary where the Republicans and the Democrats run together and then the top two finishers face off against each other in the general in the fall. So it's not two separate primaries. As in most normal places, the Republican candidate was in second place clearly after. After most of the votes had been counted. And then magically, in the typical fashion people have gotten used to, all of a sudden a whole flood of votes appeared from nowhere and he was pushed out. And this lady who's basically a Communist, is now in second place. So we will now have two Democrats, two communists running against each other in the fall and no Republican candidate. The real focus here is on how, I mean, this obviously happened, no surprise, because of mail in votes that flooded in by the tens of thousands. And the real focus here is on what California law actually says in that regard. And I'm not making this up, even though this is going to sound like science fiction. You have a huge homeless population in Los Angeles. If you say you're homeless, you have no fixed address. You can actually register to vote and just give a physical location where you crash at night. You can literally say, I sleep at the bus stop at the corner of first and Main or whatever, and that qualifies. Now, the mail won't be delivered to that location. So you are then allowed to specify any other address where you want your mail in ballot to go. It doesn't necessarily have to have any connection to you as an individual. Typically, these are nonprofits. In areas where the homeless congregate, unlimited numbers of mail in ballots can be all delivered to the same location. If you then say you can't write, you don't actually have to sign your ballot. You can literally mark an X like you're a pirate or something, and it will be accepted. And then it's supposed to be witnessed. Your X or your dot or any figure, anything you want to scratch on it, witnessed by someone, but who then signs that. They say, yeah, homeless Joe did this. But the thing is, nobody verifies who that witness is that they actually witnessed it. There's no limit on how many ballots one individual can witness. And in fact, there's no process to confirm that the witness even exists. So if you add all of that up, what it means is you have ballots coming in with no signatures from an address which has no relation to the person who supposedly submitted it. And there is literally no process to certify that any of that is real. So obviously you can imagine the potential for fraud here. And in fact, you don't have to imagine it because it's now been established and there are multiple prosecutions underway and at least one guilty verdict in concerning people who wander around skid row in Los Angeles or whatever their equivalent is, and literally pay people like five bucks a pop for their ballots and tell them how to fill them out. So you have who knows how many, you know, easy, a hundred thousand people, and you can just swing them to your candidate however you want want that's how the system works.
Natalie Winters
Now, Sam, if you can hang with us through the break. It is the age old paradigm of votes versus ballots and there is a difference. And I think the denominator of total votes cast is what matters more than the numerator because that's where they get you. We'll get into more of that in a row on the Sam Batis we're trying to stuff after the break.

Everyone's focus on how the conflict in the Middle east is raising oil prices. But there's another grim reality to this contention. Oil isn't the only resource being constrained. About one third of global fertilizer trade happens through this region. And with spring planting season on top of us, American farmers are sounding the alarm with some saying they can't afford to plant their fields. When one piece of the supply chain gets hit this hard, you know what comes next? Higher fruit prices, reduced availability, maybe even panic buying. That's why having an emergency food supply at home makes so much sense. And that's where our friends at my Patriot Supply come in. Right now@preparedwithbannon.com that is preparewithbannon.com we've set up an entire just site for the war room posse. You go to preparewithbannon.com that's all one word. Your head out of the sand. One thing you can control right now that doesn't cost you anything out of pocket is diversifying your retirement savings. Birchgold will help you convert an old 401k from a previous employer or an IRA into a physical IRA in gold. You know something? That's a hedge against inflation. Listen to this. Right now Birch Gold is going to give you a special America 251 ounce silver round for every $10,000 you purchase by July 10th. Think about this. Ten years ago an ounce of gold is about $1200. Today it's around 4, 500 dollars. Where will it be ten years from now? Well text ban into 989-898 to take advantage of free America 250 silver with qualifying purchase before July 10th. Again, text money and bannon to the Number. Well, excuse me, ban into the number. 989-898. Today you are back in the war room. We are still join. All right. It's all Good. Denver or D.C. you never know where war is being produced out of. I'll take the blame for that one. Sam Faddis, I want to pivot, although I am shocked that the homeless. The homeless vote, apparently. You got it. You got to cater to the homeless constituency when you're campaigning now. Or we could just have election laws that resemble that of a first world country. I don't know which will happen first. If there's anything more you want to say about the loopholes there, please. I'm sure the audience is on the edge of their seat and very enraged, but let's pivot to Iran, too. We had Kurt Mills. He gave us his assessment. But your thoughts on the mou? Where we stand, there's a lot of converging and conflicting timelines. This isn't something that's happening overnight. What you think we need to be looking out for, what we need to be tracking all of that.
Sam Faddis
Right.
Well, I mean, look, as anybody, as anybody who knows me knows, you know, if I had been in a position to advise the president before this war started, my, my advice would have been don't do this. Don't start this war. This is a very bad idea. And if his determination was, well, we're going to go, I would have said, well, then don't do it this way because this isn't going to work. I don't know who told you that bombing them for a week was going to cause the regime to fall, but they don't know. Either don't know anything about the regime or they're lying to your face. Having said all of that, we started the war. We prosecuted it. I get it that we want it to be over. Me too. It's a bad deal. And we are going to hand them a whole lot of money and we're going to lift sanctions and allow them to make even more money selling oil and buying anything they want around the planet. The Iranians are great people. Persian civilization. Great civilization. The guys running the place do not want coexistence. They don't want to get along. They don't want us to just leave them alone. They want to set the Middle east on fire. They've been doing it for almost 50 years. You're now going to give them the means to do that? They have literally already publicly announced that they intend to give a significant portion of the money they're going to get from this deal to Hezbollah so it can expand its fight against Israel and setting the Middle east on fire. They are making no secret about this. They already have characterized this war as the little jihad and announced it is now time for the great jihad. I wish that weren't true, but that's who you're talking about. The guy, the most powerful guy in Iran right now is General Vahidi, who runs the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps. His whole life is the revolution. He's got a criminal indictment against him for blowing up a Jewish center in Argentina and killing and wounding hundreds of people. His whole gig when he ran Quds Force was terror, spreading terror attacks around. That's who you're actually talking to. Not more rational, moderate guys that learned their lesson. So, you know, what do I think? I think this deal is not going to work. It may fall apart within a few days because the Israelis will absolutely try to sabotage it. No question. They're not leaving Lebanon. They're not going to abide by this. Or it may hang together for a little while, but then it's going to collapse. And my fear is we're going to be right back into war with these guys, only we will have given them the time and the cash to get a lot stronger. And again, I wish all of that wasn't true. I wish I could give you a different prognosis, but that's where I think we are.
Natalie Winters
Yeah, I don't know if they're more or less trustworthy than the PRC when it comes to signing things like this. And that's not a good counterpart to be compared to. Not the best track record there. I'm curious, though. You know, for instance, I have Kurt Mills on, I have you on. We have the whole panoply of wonderful war room, you know, guests, and everybody sort of has a different view on it, but it seems like for very different reasons. So I'm curious how you view sort of the legacy media's coverage of it, because they seem semi critical of it, but they're coming at it from a very different vantage point. It's almost more like because it's Trump's deal, whereas you have substantive criticisms of it. How do you see the sort of information warfare landscape shaping up around the deal? Whether that's foreign influence, whether it's just, oh, it's Trump, so we gotta sabotage it. Do you think there's a solid case to be made in favor of it, or do you think that that's just, you know, the people who want to give Trump, you know, A pat on the back saying, oh, you know, you ended another war. How do you sort of make sense of that?
Sam Faddis
Yeah, well, I think it's all of the above, right? I mean, 100% people have their own agendas and they tell you, they tell you what fits with that agenda. I mean there are clearly the legacy media, the folks who just, no matter what Trump does, they're going to stick a knife in him. So that's clear. And there are clearly, as Kurt suggests, the guys who just can't start enough frigging wars, who just want, you know, the ultra neocons who just think we should be engaged in combat everywhere. I note, by the way, that none of them ever show up in combat. They don't, nor do they send their sons and daughters to die. So I got no respect for those folks. I mean, as I said, had I been in the mix to give a recommendation to the, the president before he made this call, I would have said do not. What you asking me, my opinion is do not do this. This is a very bad decision and it will not turn out the way people are claiming it will turn out for you. So don't open this can of worms. Where I start to differ from the folks, where I clearly differ from the folks who just want to walk away is we don't really have that option anymore, in my opinion. I mean, I don't have a Wayback Machine. I can't go back to where the call was made. But we did this and there is not a more moderate regime in Tehran. That is not true. They have not learned their lesson. And by the way, they're not going to give up their nuclear weapons program. I mean people need to understand the Iranians maintain still their official position. There is not and never was a nuclear weapon weapons program. That's where we are now. We know that we have endless reams of information to establish that that's a bald faced lie and always has been. But that's who you're asking to cooperate with getting rid of the nuclear weapons program are the guys who still don't admit there ever was one or is one. So what do you, they're going to lead you around by the nose and take you to sites that they'll allow you to see and hide stuff where they don't let you go. We played this game for years. So they're not cooperating. That's not going to happen. They're not walking away from ambitions that they still claim they don't have.
Natalie Winters
Yeah. And I think the evolution of warfare Too right. You see drones at the forefront. It's not like the good old days of the gwat. Right. You can sort of have a sustained, protracted, prolonged form of kinetic conflict, even if it's not necessarily coming from the regime itself, very easily for the United States to get pulled back in in some capacity. Sam, there's a lot. The audience is going to be all over this. If, in the meantime, before we have you back on, if people want to follow you, get the magazine. Where can they go to do that?
Sam Faddis
Go. Go to Substack and magazine and substack and magazine. Substack.com
Natalie Winters
thank you so much for joining us.
Sam Faddis
Thank you.
Natalie Winters
We're going to pivot a little bit. You know, it's not a war room show. If we're not discussing the Chinese Communist Party with our next guest, who has a really good name that the studio really likes, that is Isaac Stonefish. Isaac, I wanted to have you on. There's a lot of consternation going on right now about Microsoft, who I thought would have learned their lesson about collaborating with the PRC after it was accepted, exposed that they were, what, having, like, weird people in China running the programs that they were doing for the Pentagon, something going on there. And I think they sort of got a slap on the wrist, to say the least. But now they're considering embedding Chinese AI by the name of Deep Seek into some of their platforms, their products. I'm curious, can you sort of walk the audience through what this, what the threat is, both from just a Microsoft perspective, but more broadly, Chinese AI operating here in the United States or normalizing it.
Isaac Stonefish
So like so many companies, Microsoft for a long time has invested pretty deeply in China and partnered with Chinese Communist Party entities. That was the norm until about 10 years ago. The world has shifted. The party has gotten a lot more threatening to the United States, but still a lot of American companies have these legacy partnerships and are even considering new ones. And so Microsoft is considering integrating Deep Seek, which is a Chinese AI national champion, into some of its products in the United States to save money. It's a cheaper alternative, but from a data security perspective, from a corporate capture perspective, there's a lot of very real risks, not only for US Consumers, but also for Microsoft, the company itself.
Natalie Winters
And can you talk a little bit about this idea of American companies that are actively working with the Pentagon while also having. It doesn't even seem like it's backdoor access with Chinese companies. It's explicit collaboration. I know Microsoft has a long track record of doing that. I believe they actually built Windows 10 China Government Edition that the CCP operates basically their administration off of. But what is that more broadly and what should the Pentagon be doing about this?
Isaac Stonefish
It's front door access. So many large companies. We mentioned Microsoft, but also a lot of the defense primes have direct relationships with the Chinese Communist Party and have joint ventures with Communist Party entities. One of them even has joint ventures with sanctioned entities. And the sense was, oh well, we have to, you know, friends close, enemies closer. But that thinking doesn't really last anymore. And I'm hopeful that this Pentagon is going to be a lot more critical to defense primes and to companies like Microsoft and Apple and Amazon that both work with the Dow and have pretty decently close ties with the Chinese Communist Party. Both Washington and Beijing wants companies to choose sides and American companies, we do really hope will lean more to the US side than the Chinese side.
Natalie Winters
And that's what really pisses me off, right? It's like all these are betters, right? The elites, these companies who think they know how to wage war are literally collaborating with our existential threat who one day we will see on the battle maybe kinetically, maybe not more dependent on, you know, if they choose to closely adhere to unrestricted warfare and everything laid out in that. I'm curious, I'm sure it's on the kind of forefront of the audience watching right now, their minds, how is this even legal? Right? How is it even possible for Chinese, even Whether it's Article 7 and it's vaguely CCP veiled or whatever, but these explicitly Chinese owned companies, how can they even collaborate with American defense companies? I mean, it's asinine, it's absurd.
Isaac Stonefish
It's such a great question. And really what it is is the laws haven't caught up to the reality. And we saw that with TikTok as well. And on social media it was laws restricting foreign ownership didn't apply to social media. So you had TikTok grow there. I also want to talk about what happened recently with BIS and Arm of Commerce, which decided to not to go after Deep Seq, which decided not to go after a company called cxmt, which is a very large Chinese memory maker. And the problem is folks see memory chips as just some sort of commodity and don't realize that CXMT has very serious ties to the Chinese Communist Party. And allowing companies like that to thrive in the United States does raise very serious national security questions.
Natalie Winters
Isaac, if you can hang with us through the break, I want to get on to some concerning things the PRC is doing with regard to the Philippines. But we're impossible. Got a quick message from Home Title Lock, a war room OG sponsor. For 250 years, the promise of America has been the freedom to build something of your own. And for millions of families, that dream begins with owning a home. With just some public information to forge signature, criminals can legally transfer your home ownership into their name. And you won't find out about it until you get a foreclosure notice getting it back months, even years. That's why we trust the experts at home title lock. With 24.7title monitoring, urgent alerts and 100% fraud restoration success rate, they fight for property owners and their loved ones against this growing crime. War room, here's your host, Stephen K. Ban. You are back in the war room. You know, I was just thinking about what Isaac was talking about. How it's legal just because, you know, legendary legislation hasn't caught up. That's certainly part of it. But also the lobbying apparatus with which the Chinese Communist Party has here in Washington D.C. i should say the du jour, not the people who are being blackmailed, paid off, or their spouses suddenly, you know, end up on the payroll of a Chinese company, but is so massive, I'm talking hundreds, hundreds of companies, whether it's the Chinese government itself retaining K Street lobbyists here in Washington D.C. or these weird proxies working with all of the same lobbying firms that these huge Western tech companies, basically all these companies work with. It's, it's really concerning. There's over, I think, a thousand active or so or year or since the inception of Farah, foreign lobbyists. And over a quarter of those are actually operating on behalf of China. Like I said, some of them are explicitly on behalf of Chinese provinces, municipal governments, the government, or an embassy itself. But a lot of these for companies, even our companies. I remember back in Trump won when they released a list of around 20 or so companies designating them as proxies of the Chinese military, adding them to the entity list. Over a quarter of them had active representation from D.C. based lobbying firms. Again, the real kicker is that most of the people who are representing these firms making sure that they can, I don't know, still be allowed to work with companies contracting with the Pentagon. Make that make sense. You know, these are people whose salaries you used to pay, whether they were working in the White House, probably under Joe Biden or Obama or these are people who are working on the Hill. Right. It's the revolving door, but it's much more sinister than that. I think that's quite euphemistic. It's strangling us with our own systems. You can't credit me for coming up with that. That's the Chinese Communist Party in their own warfare strategy. Isaac, you were talking about how in what is, I think maybe the first time this has happened in the Philippines, the Chinese Communist Party kind of reprimanded a foreign minister there for, you know, improper remarks. They've done it with Taiwan, but this is the first time that they've done it with, with another country. Can you walk the audience through the kind of escalation there and what that means?
Isaac Stonefish
Beijing has sanctioned a minister in the Filipino government. The Philippines is a US Treaty ally, meaning that the US Is bound to defend the Philippines. And Beijing is very much increasing its pressure into the Philippines in the South Sea. Part of this is a way to keep Taiwan and Japan off balance. Part of it is its territorial disputes with the Philippines directly and part of it is it's sending out these signals and seeing will the US Respond. It's constantly pushing against US friends and allies globally and it's wondering how is the United States going to respond? Are they going to respond with resolve or are they going to back down and let Beijing push more?
Natalie Winters
Isaac, if people want to follow you, you do really great niche China reporting. I would say there are very few people who cover China who have not been co opted by the United Front work department or various Chinese front groups. You are one of them. Where can people go to follow you and read your work?
Isaac Stonefish
Thank you. So they can follow our company strategy risks a business intelligence firm which focuses on this. Follow us on Twitter isaacstonefish and LinkedIn and actually have a series of reports coming out pretty soon, one next week on American universities and their ties to the Chinese Communist Party. So more on that soon.
Natalie Winters
Well, I think that might be what, like a ten or hundred thousand page report because there's, there's a lot to. A lot to go on there.
Isaac Stonefish
There's a lot there.
Natalie Winters
Thank you. We'll have to have you back on to dig into that. Warren, Posse some programming notes. The studio is very keen that I tell you to this or tell you about this because you got to watch all of it. Maybe you got to have double screens up. I don't know how, but you got to figure it out. Steve, don't worry, is going to be taking over at 11. He has a wonderful sit down with TJ Harker. They're going to get into some stuff you can't miss. And then on Rav's social media channels you can take your pick. Are we still on Getter? I think we're still on Getter. Twitter. Guess we call that X. I call it Twitter. All the things Instagram, I think. Are we still banned on Facebook? I don't know. That's maybe the nice thing. We get to save time because we're banned on so many platforms so we can only go to certain places. Definitely not YouTube. Or maybe we. I think RAV is on YouTube. But War Room's banned. You can watch it there. JD Vance is gonna be doing a briefing at 11. So like I said, you can choose War Room or jd. I won't be personally offended if you choose the latter, but Steve has a wonderful interview and of course it would not be a War Room episode without the one and only Mike Lindell, who I hear is Pulling number one because of course. Mike, you got a few minutes. Give us the latest on all things your race. But also, you know, the posse wants to hear about the deals.
Mike Lindell
Okay. And then. And by the way, you guys can always see Steve's show on lindelltv.com too. So you can see I missed one every single day. So. Hey, you guys. Yes. I'm polling number one in Minnesota running for governor. This is a big poll. This was done by abc, our local kstp. And they are shocked. They don't know what to do with it. And I'm leading by a lot. I think it's five points over. The next closest is Lisa Daymond. And we've just begun to do all the. We're going to be doing four or five events a day. Yesterday we just did a huge parade. We gave out 2,500 pillows throughout to little kids. It was a great. We had a big float. But you guys, check this out. The only thing I need, it says right in the, right in the poll is funding. If you go to Lindell TV or I mean Lindellgov.com or Mike Lindellgov.com you guys, you can check it out there. I have my new lieutenant governor, Philip Parish, that is absolutely amazing. He's one of the first one that reported fraud here in Minnesota. So we are going to fight through and win this. Minnesota is the tip of the spear for so many things. We need to ban sharia law, amongst other things. But in the meantime, War Room Posse, we started our new sale today celebrating 250 years in our great nation. And it's made in the USA. We've got our all our made in the USA, all our pillows, the MyPillow Premium 1998 for the king, 1898 for the queen. Winters' Commentary:
This episode provides a comprehensive, unvarnished critique of the U.S.-Iran MOU by leading nationalist and conservative voices, unpacks the ideological drivers behind opposition, and spotlights both the foreign influence operations surrounding U.S. foreign policy and the under-the-radar radicalization occurring in youth summer camps. It also examines vulnerabilities in the U.S. election system and highlights bipartisan complacency toward the growing influence of China through technological and lobbying means. The episode is rich in pointed commentary, skepticism toward mainstream narratives, and calls for vigilance and vigilance in national and local affairs.
