Actually, Gavin, it was our sand and totally negligent initial fire response. Not so called climate change. Meanwhile, Newsom actively runs for president while the Palisades sits in ruins. It's truly paradise lost and it's Gavin Newsom's fault.

Now, Steve Cortez, people in Palisades don't get a lot of empathy because they're the funders. You know, having been, having been involved up there, let's say it's all super progressives. It's the worst element of white Karens and white progressives that, you know, live in a little enclave and dictate to the world the way the world should be. And it is a paradise. Now, that being said, what happened is a trap. It's almost mind boggling, if you know what the Palisades, this is where Ronald Reagan, President Reagan lived back in the day. A lot of conservatives were up there, Hollywood conservatives. It is absolutely a jewel to know that was burned to the ground and nobody did anything. And it's so screwed up and to know that what we're two years later, nothing's been done, as everybody said was going to happen. But Newsom, overall, he's trying to be the macho, charming face of a radical revolution. That's what he. What is in back of him is what you're seeing in Colorado last night, et cetera, because there's. And that's what he's trying to run away from. The power of your film. You tie him back to California. He's trying to run away from California. He's trying to run away from the California alternative. Remember, he and Desantis debated You know, Fox, you know, the Murdochs. The Murdochs love him, by the way, don't they? The Murdochs love Newsom. This is why they had the debate with DeSantis a couple of years ago. They wanted to show those two guys as kind of the alternatives. But he wants to run away from his record. Why is that, Steve Cortez?

Well, because it's a record of miserable failure. You know, for starters, as we point out there in the trailer, the great Susan Crabtree, who has literally wrote the book on Gavin Newsom. I used a lot of that in my documentary. She pointed out California has the highest poverty rate in America. That shocks most people, right? If you ask most people, they're going to give you answers. Like Mississippi or West Virginia. No. The highest poverty rate in America because the costs are so astronomically high are in California. So if you're not very, very wealthy, California's a tough place to live. Your quality of life stinks. You live in a small home. You've got a long commute. The costs in your life are terrible. The crime is awful, illegal aliens everywhere. The schools are dreadful. That's what Gavin Newsom has created, and we're going to make him own this failure. But specifically to Pacific Palisades. And Steve, you're exactly right about the Palisades. And I understand that, that some folks on the right don't have a lot of empathy because it is generally a wealthy, ruling class, leftist crowd there. But that's actually the very point I'm trying to make. And I make this in the documentary. It's part of why I went there. Because to me, Steve, it's astounding that even those folks, even the friends and supporters and quote, important people of California, they even can't get their homes rebuilt because of Gavin Newsom. So I think it's, in a way, it's even more revealing and shocking that if even his cronies and allies cannot get things rebuilt, because that's how dysfunctional and in many ways third World Gavin Newsom's California is, that should tell us something. If we can't rebuild the Palisades, which is one of the most beautiful areas on planet Earth, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that for folks who haven't been there, and I know you used to live right out there, Steve, for folks who haven't been there, it's almost like nature's terraces down to the Pacific Ocean. I mean, it's just stunning. It's absolutely perfect weather. Almost everywhere you are because of the slope you have an ocean view between Malibu and Santa Monica. This was a paradise. It really was, as so much of California is. But of course, only leftists could ruin paradise and they have ruined California. And to me, the most shocking example, there's a lot of examples and I'll do more documentaries on Newsom exposing him. But the most shocking is Pacific Palisades. And he is both responsible for the fire. This was a preventable tragedy, right? With effective fire response, with the reservoir being filled. This never happens. This simply does not happen. This arsonist is not able to cause this mass destruction in the Palisades. But even worse than the failure to rebuild since. And I show the shocking scenes, Steve, the place looks like it got bombed. It looks like a war zone. It looks like it got bombed last week. Forget about now being more than a year and a half since the actual fire took place. I mean, how is this possible in the United States? How is this not the busiest construction site in America? And there was a lot of rhetoric, you know, denouncing this abhorrent decision out of the Supreme Court yesterday from elected leaders in Texas. But for crying out loud, Texas is a sovereign state under our constitution. Hell, we used to be our own republic. And I believe it's about time that Texas starts standing up, not just speaking, saying the right things, but delivering bold actions to protect the blessings of liberty and the value of citizenship that our forefathers fought and many paid the ultimate price for. So I don't want Texas. I'm sick of Texas just taking it on the chin when Republic Destroying decrees come out of Washington D.C. so yeah, I have announced this morning I am officially demanding an immediate special session of the Texas legislature to solve this problem. Let's tackle birth tourism head on. I want it to be a state felony to engage in or participate in birth tourism here in the state of Texas. We need to expand our illegal entry laws in the state. It's illegal to come to the state of Texas to create, to engage in criminal enterprise. Let's make birth tourism a crime in the state of Texas. And then you know what birth certificates, last I checked, those are state documents. Why in the world is the state of Texas going to, especially after yesterday, going to continue printing birth certificates from the state of Texas with the state of Texas seal on it and hand them to the children of non citizens, illegal aliens, possibly for foreign intelligence, national security threats. The state of Texas prints those things. They authorize them. We need to pass a law right now and stop issuing birth certificates to illegal aliens. We need to empower the Attorney General to investigate, give him explicit authority and a mandate to investigate and prosecute birth tourism in the state of Texas. And then let's speak with one united voice. I want us to pass a joint resolution here in the Texas legislature officially condemning what Roberts and Barrett did yesterday at the Supreme Court. Let's let our voice be heard, but more importantly, let's stop taking it on the chin when terrible things coming out of Washington D.C. let's stop acting like innocent bystanders. Well, I have no doubt that he'll try, but I don't think he'll succeed because the Supreme Court ruled on it yesterday. You asked me the name of the Supreme Court ruling, so I made sure I did the research. Today it's INS versus Chadha in 1983. As a matter of fact, the Supreme Court number is 4, 6 2, US 919. And it says the only way to overcome a presidential national security emergency is not through the courts, but rather through the legislature. And it has to be a two thirds vote of both houses of Congress. So in other words, in 1976, Congress passed a National Security act law that said you could overcome a presidential national security emergency with a simple majority. And the Trump White House pushed back, took it to court, took it to the Supreme Court in 1983, and the Supreme Court ruled in this INS versus Chadha that you cannot overcome a national security emergency without a two thirds majority in both houses of Congress. So it's not my opinion. It's a Supreme Court ruling that is law for 43 years, Steve. So are they going to try and take it to court? I guess they will. I doubt Democrats ever stand by and don't fight like crazy men. We stand by and are cowards. The Republican Party. I always say one side is evil, one side is communist, one side likes to destroy America, and the other side is cowards who stand by, complain about it, but do nothing about it. So I'm trying to come up with a way to combat it so that President Trump can institute all the Act America things that we believe in. But even more so adding in as an example, no machines, paper ballots. He can do that in this national security emergency, and the Democrats are not going to be able to stop it. And I mentioned on your show yesterday that I came up with this idea in 2019 based on this law that President Trump could declare a national security emergency on the border and therefore take the money from the Pentagon budget, bypass Congress, who would not give him the money for the wall and build the wall with the money for the Pentagon budget, the defense budget, and that's exactly what Trump did. I wrote the column. I sent it to Trump. My friend handed it to Trump. Trump said he read it, the next day, he announced it, and he built the wall with the funds from the defense budget. Never did Democrats try and fight it in court because they knew they couldn't do it. They needed two thirds vote in Congress to do it.

Well, he was only There two years he was Occidental, two, then transferred into Columbia. So in the last two years before I graduated, no, there was no sight of Obama. No student I've ever known at Columbia ever met a Barack Hussein Obama or a Barry Sotero, another name he went by. No professor I know has ever seen him, heard of him, or ever seen his name at Columbia. And finally I decided to call up Henry Graf, the number one presidential historian and record keeper in the history of Columbia, my history professor, who I hadn't spoken to in 30 years. This is like 15 years ago now. It's been 45 years. And I called him and he knew me right away. He said, wayne Root, I know you. You ran for vice president as a libertarian, which is true. I was on Bob Barr's ticket in 2008 for vice president, United States. He knew me right away as a libertarian third party vp. Said, I remember you from my class and I remember you went to Columbia. I said, well, did Obama go to Columbia? And he said, I've done the research and I have my doubts he was ever here because you could not graduate without being in my class. And he was never, ever in any of my classes. And I asked all the other professors and no one knew him.

I just. I'm resting my case. Hey, one last thing. Have you contacted that he's got a presidential library? Brother, are you going out there and see if he can. Those records should be there for people to see. Occidental and Columbia correct, his grades, all of it.
