There is such a polarization, partisan split on this issue, the largest that I've ever seen. Just take a look at this. This is where it really gets interesting and I would dare say a little bit nutty, how proud to be an American. You know, among Republicans, 93% are extremely or very proud. Just one, a single one, say they have little to no pride in being an American. But look over at the Democratic side. This is where we've seen this extremely revered number. It's been taking a tumble at 27% which is way different than the. You do the quick math with me here. What is that? That's a 66 point difference here in terms of extremely or very. But look at this. The little or no proud to be an American actually among Democrats eclipses is greater than the extremely or very proud number. So we are just living in such a different universe if you're a Republican versus a Democrat on the basic fundamental question of being proud to be an American.
B
So for Democrats, has it always been thus?
A
No, it hasn't. You know, I mentioned this 36%, the little, no, actually outrunning the extremely or very. And I will note that this is the first time ever, the first time ever among Democrats in which this little or no actually eclipses the extremely or very. And look at this. Back in 2001, look at this, the extremely or very. And this is pre 9, 11. The extremely or very actually outran the little OR no by 84 points. 84 points. Now the little or no outruns the extremely or very by nine points. So what does that 84 to nine. That is a 93 point switcheroo in 25 years among Democrats. Now more Americans for the first time ever say. Excuse me, more Democrats for the first time ever say that in fact they have little or no pride to be an American than extremely or very. And that is just very, very different from what we're used to seeing.
C
What could a reason for that be?
B
In other words, what has sort of changed for Democrats?
A
What has changed for Democrats? Well, how about just thinking that the US Is among one of the greatest countries. Say the US Is not one of the greatest countries. Just look at this, Tre. Over the Last decade, in 2016, just 7%, just 7% of Democrats said that the US was not at least among one of the greatest countries. That number has skyrocketed up to 31% now. And among Republicans, it has gone from 4%. It's actually dropped down to 2%. So what we're seeing now is more Americans or excuse me more Democrats are saying that the US Is not one of the great countries.
B
A little bit of a tangent here for a final question here, which is that President Trump, there's been a suggestion
C
of putting his his mug on the $250 bill.
A
Yes.
B
I imagine there are some Republicans who
C
would say that's what's great about being Democrats would say otherwise.
B
If you're looking for the tie right there, what are the predictions market saying
C
the chances that will actually happen?
A
Yeah. The casual prediction market saying that chance that Trump is able to put himself on the $250 bill, it's just an 8% chance, 92% chance, no. So Republicans may love this country, but they're not going to get the president that they love on a $250bill.
B
Okay. It's Friday the 3rd of July year rollover 2026. Thank you for coming into the late afternoon early show. Now just want to make sure everybody understands the logistics. By the way, you're still going to hear the sound of freedom coming overhead because the jets are still coming in low and fast as they're going to do all day tomorrow. I think starting at 10 o' clock in the naval Review, they're going to start the air show with the tall ships. Tomorrow's going to be spectacular. 7:00am Eastern Daylight Time right here on Real America's Voice. The war room will be live. An entire crew will go all the way to one o'. Clock. Then they'll pick up. We'll toss down to the mall to the anchors down there. We will be back at five and we're going to stay through five to seven. Seven o', clock, an incredible extravaganza, but the story of America. Then the president will take the stage. I don't know, about 9ish or so. And there's going to be the greatest fireworks display, as is fitting this nation its 250th birthday. So we're going to get all the history, everything in tomorrow. It's going to be spectacular. Great crew that's going to be with us 7:00am Eastern Daylight Time tomorrow. So make sure get up and get a big old pot of Warpath coffee. That's normally when we're in the closing moments of putting together. The morning show will be up earlier tomorrow, no doubt. Right there, Harry Intin what they're talking about. And you see the Democrats hate the country. This is what you really got to think about when you see Mandami, that speech he gave, the hypocrisy in it, the one we played earlier this morning. They hate the country. They hate the country. They hate the United States of America as currently constructed. They want to turn into a Marxist jihadist hellhole because that's what they will turn it into. As importantly, I told you on Drudge link, 46% of the country doesn't even know what the 250th anniversary is. Does not know what the 250th anniversary is. Think about that. 53% know. Okay, every July 3rd, we do talk about the Civil War, the continuation of the second American Revolution. You had Vicksburg on July 3, both the fall of Vicksburg, the Gibraltar, the Gibraltar of the Mississippi, along with Pickett's Charge in Gettysburg. And we always do some sort of commemoration of Pickett's Charge. Alonzo Cushing. I won't be able to give my full rap because I've got so much other, other stuff we want to get into today, but we're going to give you from the movie Gettysburg, some of the most incredible footage that Ron Maxwell, the great writer, director, who's the director of Gettysburg, and the guy who curated and found Dave Bratton, the future ambassador to Australia, Dave Bratt and the War Room co host, Ron Maxwell, knew what he's doing. The film's magnificent. If you ever get a chance to watch Gettysburg, please do it. We always make it a Fourth of July treat around the Bannon household. So make sure that you. We're going to show some footage that we're going to go to break, come back, we got a very special show for you. Plus Mike Lindell is going to be in later with an update, everything he's got going on. And Peter Navarro made a very special video just for our show today, as only Navarro can do. Okay, it's day three, one o'. Clock, the artillery barrage started. And then. And then they got up. And to your post, all you men from all Virginia under General George Pickett. And remember, as Faulkner said up to high noon on that day, the Civil War could have gone either way. There was always the hope for victory. It's Sam. Come on, man. And keep your head down. It's. It's.

The glasses. Your hands down. Save your strength. Get over the fence quickly. Two more. Tell him General Crimble sends his compliments and says that if the troops he had the honor to command this day could not take that position, all hell can't take it. Double canister.

That's it.

Right? New to MSNO I'm told by an intelligence official that the current Acting Director of National Intelligence Bill Pulte has begun moving forward with dozens of terminations of intelligence officials under the agencies of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. Now this is notable. Two weeks ago he removed and fired six political appointees who were serving under then Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. But since President Trump put Bill Pulte in this acting position, Pulte, who we could expect to serve in this capacity for several months. While another individual who he has put forward as a nominee for the full time position goes through a confirmation process, Acting Director of National Intelligence Bill Pulte has his hands at the wheel and I am told by an intelligence official who is remaining anonymous out of fear of reprisal that this is a moment where over the last 24 hours, and we can expect in the days ahead that Pulte out of the Belief among some in leadership. I am told that there are individuals who they claim are, quote, part of the deep state, withholding information related to intelligence that has been requested by leadership at the odni, that those individuals are the ones that are being terminated. These are not just political appointees, but these are career officials. Now as part of this reporting, Antonio, of course, it is important to also bring into context reporting with our colleague David Rhoad on the national security side here at msnow, that former officials tell us that they have never heard of such a move as this, but more importantly, that they have never heard of, of intelligence officials within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence or the more than 15 agencies, including the CIA, that fall under it, of individuals, intelligence officials, career officials, actively withholding requested information. Again, I'm told by one official that the terminations are happening out of a belief by leadership at the odni, including from Bill Pulte, that those that are rebuilt, being removed are individuals who they suspect being a part of the so called deep state and not not providing the full picture of intelligence assessments under their purview. And so there is going to be a lot of questions here, but what we do know is that this is not normal. This also comes at a time in which there are elevated concerns about potential intelligence in the hands of ODNI officials related to elections or even other foreign governments. And the extent to which this administration, at the urging of Donald Trump himself, who we heard from just yesterday, say on his way to North Dakota that he wanted the office of the Director of National Intelligence to unclassify as much as they could related to past election, quote, fraud, that there is an active effort within the agencies under the Office of the Director of National Intelligence to move forward with providing an assessment of intel available that Bill Pulte is actively seeking to look at. And now that we know a couple of weeks into him taking this job as acting director, that he and leadership have moved forward. Just yesterday I am told that individuals began leaving headquarters at odni. But these firings, it's an understanding of this one intelligence official I talked to that other individuals will be on their way out in the days ahead and the number is expected to total in the dozens.
B
I think if the revolutionary generation would look at where we are today, they go, hey, look, you've got to commemorate what we did as a lesson for the generation that's living there or the people living today and for the country going forward. But we need you also prioritize the work that is at hand today. So I want to go at least quickly. Media Matters, and they seem to be back on top of things. You know, Madeline Peltz, the great marketing director for the War Room, she left and she's out. I think she's writing a book. Right. So she's gone. So we don't get the kind of. Although the new president over there, forget his name, I think he's doing a great job. He's on MSNBCL time. Very smart guy. Of course, he's completely screwed up in his politics, but a very smart guy. But they've got a guy, John Neffle, he's done a really long piece. And remember, when they do these pieces, they're doing it with pure Trump derangement syndrome and hate War Room and hate Maga and you're the worst. But when they do it right, they don't even realize how they're putting things together and connecting dots that are very powerful. This is a long piece. It's not just a clip of which Media Matters normally does. It's called. The plot to subvert the midterms is getting stranger and more dangerous. Right wing. In the subheadings, right wing media figures including Steve Bannon, John Solomon and Cleta Mitchell appear to be weaving together a narrative about interference by China in US Elections to justify a national emergency to curtail voting rights. And then they go through and they really weave what's been going on in war rooms over the last couple weeks. And they do it in a very sophisticated way. I strongly recommend everybody read this and I recommend you be a force multiplier and get it out to everybody to read and to understand. Just to reiterate, you do have multiple angles of attack that's going on to the situation of the stolen elections. Now, clearly we have the Save America Act. The question has gotten to be, is it too late to actually implement if it's passed, and we are very uncertain whether they could get passed. This is how important that the House and the Senate felt that this is how important they feel it is. They're on vacation again. And yes, I'm all for these people going back to their districts. If they actually went back to their districts or their states to get back with their voters and their citizens and do town halls and get feedback and also, you know, the small town parades, all that. I think that's all fantastic. I'm not sure that's what most of these folks do.
F
Right.
B
So. And then, by the way, should be back at work. President Trump's on a plane on Tuesday to go to NATO to go to Turkey for a NATO conference and you know he's going to be briefing books and all that on Sunday, Monday. So this guy's working 24 7. They have no interest, in fact they have counterinterest in passing the Save America act, zero interest. And they keep talking about how hard it is and how tough it is. Cornyn's out just, you know, he's dumping on Paxton, he's dumping on Save America. These guys. The Senate has no interest in passing it. And this is why I've said, hey, whether you want to deal with it or not, if you want to hold the Senate and get people motivated, you have to have a leadership fight. Now when you get back, like, like the 16th of July or after back a couple days, you gotta have a leadership fight. And if you don't have a leadership fight, if nobody's prepared to step up and fight for it, then that tells you everything you need to know about the United States Senate. They've done nothing. You've had individuals, the Eric Schmidt's of the worlds and the Hawleys and Mike Lee's. You've had some individuals, Marino, you've had certain individuals, right, that Jim Banks, others, you know, a couple handful, half a dozen that have stood up and just been real warriors, but clearly not enough. And as an institution you have to say, hey look, why we handle it. They are the human resources department. I mean really what the Senate was basically set up for is be the Human resources department, in other words, the confirmation of the executive branch's nominees. As I said, There's 4,000 people that essentially go in and run the government. Whether it's Obama or Biden or Trump. Three thousand of those can go in day one with a security clearance and a background check, etc, you don't need any confirmation. Just go in and hit it, get on as long as you pass the vetting. And then you have a thousand essentially that have to go through confirmation. Look, Dave, Brad has been one of the reasons Dave hasn't been on the show. I think it's from last summer, I think it was around. It was from last summer that Dave Brett got tapped to go to be an ambassador and now he's going to be ambassador Australia. His group confirmation doesn't come up, I don't believe until the end of July. I think it'll be almost a year. And you've got many, many people like that. They prioritize judges, but since they haven't given President Trump a recess, an official recess, you don't get a recess Point. And look, I don't understand why JD and these people are not all over place the.
F
This.
B
They got to be some way. They got to be some way to make the Senate work as an institution and to make it work in conjunction with the executive branch so that we actually have. When you own, when you control all three houses or both houses and the, and the White House and the executive branch, you should be. That's not divided government. It's running like divided government because they're treating him like a. They're treating him like a lame duck.
D
How is it possible that Bill Pulte is actually even ready to do all of this? The man has no intelligence background, no experience in these agencies that he is
B
now the head of.
D
So how exactly would he already have the names to do this?
G
I've talked to three former intelligence officials, and they all say this is absurd. And the broader picture here is President Trump putting inexperienced people who are loyalist to him, and then they carry out actions that reaffirm the president's conspiracy theories, the false conspiracy theory that there's a deep state of intelligence agents somehow undermining presidents. George W. Bush, you know, didn't find it. Tom Cotton, the Republican chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, you know, hasn't made an allegation like this. So they say this is false. It's the equivalent of someone taking over a hospital and after a matter of days, firing dozens of doctors and saying, because Pulte has no experience in intelligence, he's, you know, the son of a very. In a very wealthy family that has built homes across the country. He runs the top federal mortgage organization in the federal government. So this is very alarming because I just think, you know, the concerns are. And Democrats have said this, this is the beginning of an effort by President Trump to at least discredit the results of the midterm elections or at least, you know, possibly even tamper with votes.
D
David, what even is a deep state? Can anyone actually tell me what the deep state is?
G
So it's a term that was really started by Steve Bannon. It's existed for, you know, people talked about it, it goes way back, but it's. It was originally more about, like a military industrial complex. And I spent all this time in Trump's first term trying to understand what they're talking about. There is a Washington establishment, and they have a view about how the US should deal with, like, the Israeli Palestinian conflict, you know, conflict, how what US Policy should be in public health. That would be part of this. You know, I think deep State conspiracy theory and the mainstream media. You know, I guess we're all part of the deep state also. But the idea that dozens of intelligence officials who are working in ODNI were plotting, you know, and again, I looked for this for years, you know, during Trump's first term is false. There is no evidence of that. No one's been able to ever back up any of the President's claims. And it all goes back to his inability to accept the fact that he lost the 2020 election and his very broad effort. The New York Times just wrote about this yesterday. More than, you know, half a dozen ways the President is trying to manipulate the midterms.
B
Listen up, patriots. President Trump is dropping a $100 trillion bomb on the globalist. Jerome Powell's term is come to a close and he's installing a real America First Fed chair who will, according to Jim Rickards, slash rates and supercharge our reindustrialization. This is what one man is calling Trump's gift on America's 250th anniversary. Unleashing a historic super cycle in American mining rare earths, uranium and gold. The same forces that turned $5,000 into over a million in less than five years during China's booms are hitting here now. Jim Rickards, the former CIA, Pentagon and White House advisor, has the battle plan, the gold royalty stock that could skyrocket in the next few years and the uranium power for AI. Don't miss this. Do it and do it today. War room, here's your host, Stephen K. Ban. Okay, we're gonna go back to the viceroy in a moment, but I've got Terry Schilling at Kerry Sheffield on about this monumental decision on men and women's sports. Terry, you know what a priority this is for the President. How do you read it? Mike? Just had a time, a chance to cursory look at it. What's your thoughts on this? It's nine zero. What do you, what do you, what do you, what do you complain about? It's 9 0.
H
No, no, I don't, I don't think it's 9 0. I think it's 6 3. You know, obviously it's a victory we're going to take it and run with it, Steve. But it's a victory. And if you look just, just 10 years ago, the types of decisions we were getting at the Supreme Court, this is actually shocking to see this turnaround this quickly. And that's all largely due to President Trump. Supreme Court justices he has put on, but also the political fights that he has made. This, he injected this issue into the elections, and he made sure that it was clear that voters were deciding that men shouldn't be in girls sports, even if they be women. Right, but this is a huge victory. We still need to pass national legislation to protect girls all across the country, but we need to rack up as many of these victories as possible because the left is unrelenting when it comes to the pursuit of their horrific.
B
No, hang on. This is what I asked Davis. I don't understand how the three amigos over there, the core of the left wing, how they actually voted for, and this is such a transgender ideology, is such a central beating heart of the Marxist culture, of Marxist movement. How did they possibly come our way? Mike says, look, it's a tactical retreat because this thing's so egregious. Do you agree with that, Terry?
H
I think it's a tactical retreat. But, Steve, at the heart of the progressive movement, they don't. This sounds so radical, it sounds so crazy. But we have to say what they believe outright. They don't believe there should be men, they don't believe that there should be women. They think that there should be infinite identities that anyone can choose from, and that to limit your identity as a man or limit your identity as a woman, it actually causes society great harm. They're crazy. Steve. Being a man is a good thing. Being a man and knowing you're a man and having full confidence that you're a man is a really good thing. And the same thing goes for women. But at the heart of it, it's not about equality between men and women. It's about erasing men and women.
B
For the radical left, is there anything in this decision that jumps out at you we should be concerned about?
H
Well, look, I think it's still a victory, but the thing I'm concerned about is there's a lot of. Of mays in here. The states may restrict access to sports and private spaces on the basis of biological sex. That was at the. They're responding essentially to the left's claims in here that they're not allowed to restrict sports at the basis of biology due to Title IX and the equal protection clause. I just wish it was more robust and strong in arguing that. No, actually the 14th amendment and title IX actually do require you to segregate sports and private facilities on the basis of X. That's literally what they do. But they were responding to the left's arguments here in this legal case. And I wouldn't read too much into it.
B
Terry, hang on for one second. Kerry Sheffield, you've been at the forefront of fighting this issue. Your thoughts, ma'?
D
Am? Hey, good to see you. And hey, Terry. Terry and Kerry. Yeah, I mean, this is a huge win. And just to piggyback off what Terry said, the legal ruling here about the equal protection clause. Steve, you and I have been talking about this literally for years. So equal protection means case law for hundreds of years, have recognized biological differences between men and women. And that's why we have separate prisons, that's why we have separate shelters. This goes far beyond just sports when you're talking about the equal protection clause, which means that in order for the full weight of the constitution to fully protect someone who is female, there is a distinct set of legal precedent for that. And so what was really interesting was in the Bostock case, that that really was perverted because unfortunately, I think it was Gorsuch and others that he basically said that a man could dress like a woman and therefore he was not. He couldn't face violation because he was a man who thought he was a woman. And so it would be violation of his equal protection as a man who thought he was a woman. And it's just. It totally undermined the actual broad understanding of equal protection, the equal protection clause for women, biological sex of women. And so I would have loved to see more like Terry said in this specific case, because in some ways it was almost like a negative versus a really affirmation of the equal protection clause. But a win is a win. And so I will take it. Absolutely.
B
Perfect. I know you guys got a lot more work to do. By the way, the 14th Amendment has come in. We're gonna bounce. Carrie, you're actually singing. You're multi talented. You're singing this weekend at one of these events. Can you give our audience where it is?
D
Yeah, absolutely. That's the flyer there. It's gonna be on July 4th, so the super bowl of all days on the main stage of the great American State Fair. And I have to tell you, Steve, because again, you know my story. We've been talking about this for years. My father passed away yesterday and I plan to give him a tribute from the stage. I will be hosting and leading that whole hour. It's going to be an hour of patriotic music, patriotic sing along. We are going to intersperse it with prayers and intercessors who will be praying for America. We're kicking it off with the VA secretary who is in Trump's cabinet and he is a retired military chaplain. So it's going to be perfect that he will set the tone for us. But we're going to be singing along. We'll have the lyrics on the screen so everyone can sing together songs like God Bless America, My country Tis of thee, Amazing Grace. And you know, for all of the complications of my father, he was a music professor and he was a professor of music composition and music performance. And he taught me how to sing and he taught me how to play piano at age 4. And so I will give him that tribute even though he was abusive to me, he suffered, he was molested as a child. And so he passed down, unfortunately, a lot of abuse to my seven siblings and I. But, you know, in some ways it's very symbolic of America that, you know, we were not a perfect country. We've never been a perfect country. But at the same time, we can still recognize the beauty of our legacy as a nation. And for me personally, in my family.
B
What time we're going to be covering this? 24 7. So what time are you on?
D
I am live from the main stage from 3:30 to 4:30pm on July 4th. And we'd love to have you there, Steve, and all of your viewers come on by. Come sing with us. You can see our intercessors there. Kerry Lake will be right after the VA secretary. We've also got Frank Pavone, who I'm saying it here, he's going to get his caller back with the new pope. And Lance Wall now, who is a very renowned pastor, will be giving prayers. It's going to be phenomenal. So come sing with us and come pray with us on July 4th at 3:30.
B
We're looking forward to it. Carrie, what's your social media? Where do people go get you?
D
Yeah. Arrry Sheffield all across for the socials.
B
Carrie, thanks. Look forward to seeing you on fourth of July.
G
Beautiful.
D
Thank you, Steve. God bless.
B
Terry Schilling. Can you give us your coordinates? People are going to want to dig down deep into this and figure out where we go on this transgender ideology. Sir, we know we got a lot of work to do. Great start though, today.
H
Yeah, thanks, Steve. It's just Schilling 1776 across all social media platforms and check us out@american principlesproject.org get all the updates you need.
B
Terry, thank you brother. We'll get back to you. Mike Davis, the big enchilada has been delivered. What do you got for us?
I
Well, it's as bad as it gets from the Supreme Court. We have a five to one to three ruling with the five with the Chief Justice, Justice Amy Coney Barrett and the three Democrat appointees ruling that under the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, anyone born in the United States apparently gets birthright citizenship, including it seems I haven't read the opinion in full, but it seems illegal aliens, Chinese birth tourists trend nicua There's a one the Justice Kavanaugh wrote a concurring opinion where he would have more modestly decided this under a statute that can be amended by Congress. And the three true constitutionalists, Justice Thomas, Justice Alito and Justice Gorsuch, my former boss dissented and dissented strongly. I will say that my boss, former boss, Justice Gorsuch is the only Trump appointed justice who did not go the wrong way on these cases. So I want to commend him for that. He actually did what he is supposed to do, which is to follow the law as written and as an intended as intended by the American people when it was enacted. And I'll say that this 14th Amendment decision, this birthright decision case is an abomination by the Chief justice and the five others. Justice Barrett, the professor, it shouldn't surprise you that she joined this. It's, it's truly an awful ruling because it constitutionalizes birthright citizenship, meaning it's nearly impossible to change. And this is not what we ever intended when we gave birthright citizenship after the Civil War to the children of the freed slaves. It's all persons born in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction means meaning allegiance to the United States and the Chief justice and Justice Barrett and the three liberals just scratched out that second part subject to the jurisdiction and they just rewrote a constitutional amendment. This is the most egregious judicial activism activism imaginable. It is the most egregious violation of our most crucial sovereign power as we the people as the sovereign citizens of America to determine and who comes and goes and who becomes one of us. This is the ultimate betrayal. This is not law. This is vanity. And the Chief justice should hang his head in shame.
B
Mike, I want you to stick to the break. I want to drill down this more. But for right now, you kept bringing up in the lead up to this about the 1940 law in that if it was around the 1940 law. Is that what Kavanaugh cited? So that would at least give us some sort of legislative possibilities of going back and changing that. Is that what Kavanaugh, Kavanaugh's angle of attack was, was about that.

But I think I was mistaken by a 1940 Marxist. Yeah, I think I was mistaken by a 1940 law. I think it was a 1952 law or something like that. I'd have to go. I haven't had a chance to read Kavanaugh's concurring opinion, but I presume that's what he is saying, that we can interpret this on statutory grounds and we don't have to reach the constitutional grounds, the constitutional avoidance that courts are supposed to do when they don't have to decide a constitutional ground. They shouldn't. But this is just delusions of grandeur by the Chief Justice. You, you saw him with the Fed case with Lisa Cook. As Justice Barris Barrett pointed out, he, he wrote these grandiose sweep, this grandiose, sweeping opinion that did not need to be written for the lease to decide the Lisa Cook matter. He's done the same thing here. He's written this delusional grand opinion on birthright citizenship that did not need to be written. And it's just, it is wrong. It's not what the American citizens agreed to when we agreed to give birthright citizenship to the children of the freed slaves after the Civil War. And we did it through the 14th Amendment after the Dred Scott decision. It was to to overrule the Supreme Court's dreadful Dred Scott decision that said that the children of freed slaves are not American citizens. I don't know how the Chief justice can say that illegal aliens got get birthright citizenship under the 14th Amendment, but American Indians did not. Remember that American Indians did not get birthright citizenship because they were not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. They were subject to the jurisdiction of their tribes. And so Congress, I believe it was in 1924, extended birthright citizenship to American Indians. And Congress could do that now with illegal aliens, Chinese birth tourists trend 13. But the Chief justice and Professor Barrett and the three liberals just said, oh, we're just, we're just going to hand out citizenship like we're handing out candy at the fair.

In July of 1776, King George III still towered over New York City. Not in person, in lead. At Bowling Green, near the tip of Manhattan, stood a gilded 4,000 pound statute of King George on horseback, dressed like a Roman emperor. It had been erected just six years earlier as a monument to British power. But by the summer of 1776, Americans no longer saw majesty in this statue. They saw tyranny. On July 9, 1776, George Washington gathered his troops in New York and had the newly adopted Declaration of Independence read aloud. The words had barely settled before soldiers, sailors and patriots surged down Broadway to Bowling Green and toppled the King George statue. While the crowd saw tyranny toppled, Connecticut patriot Oliver Walcott saw bullets. £4,000 of lead. Bullets for a continental army Walcott knew would be desperate for ammunition. So Walcott had the shattered pieces of King George loaded onto boats and shipped to Connecticut. From there, Ottoman oxcarts hauled the remains of King George more than 60 miles over rough country roads to Walcott's home in Litchfield. And in the Walcott family orchard, a shed became a foundry. His wife Laura, his daughter Mary Ann and local neighbors worked over melting pots, pouring the King's lead into bullet molds. 42,188 musket balls in all. Some of those bullets were fired two years later at the Battle of Monmouth, the brutal New Jersey showdown where Washington's army proved good stand in the open field against British regulars. You have to love the irony. Britain sent America a monument to empire. America sent it right back. And muzzle velocity. So let's celebrate our nation's 250th birthday as we remember patriots like Oliver Wolcott who made it all possible. From the White House, I'm Peter Navarro.
B
Is that brilliant? Navarro is just absolutely incredible. I love that. Maybe we'll play that again tomorrow. That's a vignette that's just so, so, so powerful. That's what the Americans were like. That's what the colonists were like. Right then. Trevor Comc. Thank you for joining us. We got a minute or two tell people about what you got going on for 4th of July, the big special.
E
Yeah.
J
Great to see you, Steve. So just a quick heads up. We are still running our fourth of July sale. So if you did want to take advantage of it, you can use code July at checkout for 20% off any one time order. And of course I, I wanted to highlight Our tallow moisturizer. Again, just because it's been super popular during the, the summer months that have been quite dry and people always have questions around it. But for anyone that doesn't know, the tallow moisturizer is handmade with the two ingredients which is the 100American grass fed and finished beef tallow. And then we pair it with the raw manuka honey from New Zealand. So that's it. There's no chemicals, no preservatives, nothing artificial within it. And what's really great about the moisturizer is that it's loaded with natural vitamins. So you will get things like vitamin A, D, E as well as K which your skin does need to stay healthy and radiant. And once again, you know the product is intended for both men and women. I use it every day, of course, I love it, but it just works really great for things like if you have dry skin, even if you have things like eczema or severe, you know, a little bit of redness, it helps bring that down a lot due to the anti inflammatory properties. And again, you don't, you know, you can use it on your face but you can also use it anywhere in your body whether it's your neck, your hands or anywhere that your skin needs relief. But you know, overall, if you do want to compare it to other moisturizers on the market, I've said it before, but the issues with those is that they're typically filled with things like alcohols, fragrances and other cheap fillers that can damage your skin barrier over time. So it is why we created the product in the first place. But we only use high quality natural ingredients. And as I had mentioned, you know, each jar is handmade. So we have our team always making sure that they're putting the best ingredients and taking their time to make the product. So, so I encourage people to check that one out. It always sells pretty fast. We're about to renew our supply as well as we're close to running out. But yeah, let us know if you
