WarRoom Battleground EP 1031: Saving The Texas School Board And The Country ...
Loading summary
A
This is the primal scream of a dying regime. Pray for our enemies because we're going medieval on these people. You're just not going to free shot all these networks lying about the people. The people have had a belly full of it. I know you don't like hearing that. I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it. It's going to happen. And where do people like that go to share the big lie? MAGA MEDIA I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience. Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose? If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved. War ROOM here's your host, Stephen K. Band. The White House lawn, it's delayed by inclement weather, particularly thunderstorms. Rain, lightning, all that. They don't finish till two in the morning and they finish still with the, with the fireworks that sounded like the war of 1812, the British bombarding us. Then he just goes, changes flight schedule, just goes right to the plane, takes a red eye, shows up in France. He's already letting it rip. Can you give us an update, sir?
B
Yeah, that's right. He was wheels up around 3:15 this morning and then landed roughly around 10 o'.
C
Clock.
B
First thing he did was meet with President of France Emmanuel Macron. Then they had the meet and greet and then they had the sort of working dinner tomorrow, early in the morning, he meets with Zelensky, he'll meet with leaders from Qatar, he'll meet with the AE, the UAE, and then there'll be a lunch where the G7 is sort of talking about Middle east sort of events and affairs. So tomorrow, sort of a Middle east day tacked on top of the meeting with Zelensky. But it's interesting, you know, the European Union, which isn't the same as the G7, but the European Union is touting peace talks between Moldova and Ukraine, which seems to be a little bit off program. The E4, which is the UK, France, Germany and Italy. They have said that they're heartened by the developments with the ceasefire with Iran and the memo of understanding. And they will also work to lift sanctions on Iran, their own sanctions on Iran, if the peace process continues. So we'll see how it plays out. As you.
A
Isn't that the big news? Is that. Yeah, isn't that the big news? He's got. Besson went to London and now he's going to join him. Is that the E4, the other European nations that we work for years on these sanctions. And Bessen has warned if you take these sanctions off, it's going to be very difficult to put them back on. So this is kind of a monumental moment about our economic war with Iran and the Persians because like I said, once these sanctions are lifted, the mechanics are doing it. This is how Besant brought them to their knees back in January when millions took to the streets and I don't know, 20, 30, 40,000, depending who you're talking to, were killed by the regime. But E4 seems like because they want to get in on the action, also seems like they're open to lift these sanctions. And that's one of the biggest issues of these pre meetings subject to the signing or the digital unveiling of this MoU on Friday. Sir,
B
I would suggest that the moment of sanctions on the Iranian regime, it has passed and that everybody is now looking to be friends with the Iranians and this is sort of their excuse or their cover to sort of, you know, make up, connect. You know, the Strait of Hormuz closing really scared a lot of people and it caused a lot of, a lot of damage and a lot of confusion and complications that people weren't expecting. And so now, having seen what the Iranians can do when they put their mind to it, I think everybody just wants to move forward in this brave new world where we're getting along with the Iranians and the sanctions are going to pass and then like you said, there's no way putting them back on again.
A
Very tough. Governor Newsom of California announced that the DOJ is investigating, I think his wife. We don't know for what, but he did a four minute video. I don't know if we'll have a chance to play that later, but a four or five minute video talking about how DOJ investigators have already started showing up, something to do with his wife. Also President Trump, I believe it just came out a truth social calling for the investigation at Kamala Harris on activities about her campaign for president, money that was spent and kind of some, I guess the untoward nature of some of that. Any ideas about because you've had Pulte, they're moving heaven and earth to make sure Pulte doesn't take over his acting dni. Next Friday they're going to waive every waiver they've got on Capitol Hill to make sure they can jam in Jay Clayton, they've got Todd Blanche is going around doing the initial meet and greets to become active, to become the actual doj. But there are already questions right now. But do you have any sense from the White House? Are these investigations actually real? Is this just Newsom throwing out some smoke?
B
Well, obviously, Todd Blanche, that is a green, he was at the fight last night and they're all in on Ty Blanche. And one of the reasons why they're all in on Todd Blanche is they were waiting to see if Alito was going to retire. And they seem pretty convinced that Justice Alito will not retire. And so now they can go all in on a confirmation fight for an ag. But obviously the Pulte thing, Bill Pulte is a great man, a hardworking patriot who has the confidence of the president. And he was there as a placeholder. But even as a placeholder, it was an anathema to the Republican leadership and the establishment. I thought it was brilliant that how in the same truth, the same truth that the president defended Pulte. He also said, by the way, if you want that Pfizer thing that you're so upset about, how about giving me the Save America Act? And I thought that was very interesting. And we're going to see if this follow up on that.
A
I think the, I think the president's jammed him up. He said don't bring back FISA unless he's got Save America. Then he put out, I think, seven or eight other demands that he's got on FISA, which is brilliant. We'll get into that tomorrow. Neil McCabe, where can people get you between now and your duty back at the White House tomorrow? Sir,
B
you can find me on all the socials at reporter McCabe Steve
A
thank you, sir. Jenny Story joining us from Texas. We're going to hand, we're going to go to Texas right now because what's happening there is monumental for our country because as goes Texas, so goes the nation. Jenny Story, first off, Happy birthday. Happy 29th, Ma'. Am.
C
Thank you. Don't give away my age, but never,
A
never, far be it from me. Jenny, tee it up. We've got some of the folks dealing with the Texas Board of Education in this huge, huge, massive fight. But you and Patriot Mobile and your political arm, you were so important. We went down for the couple of months we were in Texas for the Prop 10 on Benning on prohibiting Sharia. Give us an update on that because there've been some things happened in Frisco. There were some, quite frankly, a few ugly incidents at the Republican convention over the weekend dealing with Julie Pickering. And Julie's gonna be here herself to tell us about it. Give us your assessment of where we stand with all this, ma'.
D
Am.
C
Absolutely. So the convention was electric. There were a lot of people there, thousands of delegates, a lot of activity. So pleased to see that one of the eight legislative priorities is to ban Sharia. So they're making it part of their major initiatives. There was so much interest, so much curiosity, so much desire for education on what this means to the country, to. Well, to Texas and obviously to the country. We had two breakout sessions over Sharia at the convention. One was on Friday. I was on that panel with Amy Meck from Rare Kennedy, Kevin Freeman from Economic War Room. We also had a woman on from Europe, and she really brought, basically the whole room just felt the truth of what can happen with the caliphate that's occurring over there, coming over here. And there was just so many. Unfortunately, we only had about an hour and we went over. But there was just so much curiosity about what does this mean for our country and what does it mean for Texas. So I think that was well received. I think those two breakout sessions probably helped and people's confidence to make banning Sharia one of the legislative priorities. I think it's four on the list. So that was good. And I think over the weekend, too, on Sunday or Saturday, we had an election in Fresco, which is, you know, a Texas town. It's one of our big Texas towns. And what we saw happen was that the candidate that many of the Christians were pushing for did not get elected. And what we found through looking at the numbers was that the candidate that did win won because a majority of the Muslim Hindu precincts, high percentage of folks voted in those precincts. In fact, 2 of the polling locations by mosques had the highest turnout of voters. And unfortunately, Christians voted less than 25%. We really have an issue here, and I think it all stems from the Johnson amendment back in 1954 that tried to say, you know, churches aren't allowed to endorse candidates or they could lose their tax status. And that was reversed in an IRS ruling just last year. And also in 2017, Trump, in an executive order, gave more latitude to churches. And churches just simply do not realize that they can stand at the pulpit and endorse candidates. They're not allowed to campaign for them, but they are allowed to endorse candidates. And it's crucial now at this point in time that our churches become bolder, because our mosques are bold, but our churches are basically saying politics are dirty. We're not supposed to get involved in politics. Well, you know what? We may not have churches in a few years if the churches don't start speaking more boldly from the platform that they're given. So that's something that we learned from the Frisco race. And I wanted to bring that up also. Another thing that we learned, you know, there are bad apps.
A
Hang on, hang on, slow down.
E
A lot of information.
A
Frisco is just not anywhere. I mean, Frisco is one of the most explosive towns economically in the country. It's also the home of the Professional Golfers association, one of the big four major championships. I think the PGA is going to be held there. This is a, this is not some tiny, out of the way place in West Texas. This is a significant growing metro area that has world class events there. Just walk us through again. They had a marriage race, a runoff. They had a marriage race. You had a Christian candidate and you had another candidate and there was a Hindu, Muslim alliance that came together and voted in other than the Christian candidate.
C
Well, I would say the other candidate may call himself Christian as well. His platform was, I think it was Frisco unity. But he did get the endorsement of the Muslim community. The other candidate, I believe, also had the Hindu, and they both had the Hindu endorsement. Unfortunately, some bad actors used some choice words as it relates to the residents or citizens of Frisco that really divided the swing voters. And that's something that we, we as conservatives really need to pull away from racist comments. It's tainting the good citizens that are trying to save our country and trying to save this constitutional republic.
A
If we aren't these bad, Aren't these bad actors, Aren't these bad actors a lot of times paid for by the opposition? I mean, they're not coming in as patriots, right? This over the top behavior.
C
Well, you know, we really don't know. There's a suspicion, and I'm, you know, conspiracy theories out there, that perhaps they're not being paid or they're being paid by the other side to create a rift or to make the conservatives that care about this country look like white supremacists or, you know, are racists. That is simply not what we're fighting for. We're fighting for this amazing melting pot of the United States of America. We want assimilation. We want to retain our constitutional republic. We have the greatest nation on earth. The last thing we need to do is be divided from within. And there are folks that are intentionally trying to divide our party through racist comments and through division in that regard. And I would highly encourage folks to be very careful of associations with those kind of comments. That we need to focus on the issues. We need to focus on preserving what makes this country what it is.
A
I know you got to bounce because it's your birthday. Where do people go from Patriot Mobile where they go for all access to your work on the political side and also how great this company is.
C
Oh, absolutely. Well, we do have. Did you have that one flyer? We want to make sure that folks know that today and I know Julie and Brandon and Mary Elizabeth are going to bring this up, but public comments are due for the SBOE tonight on one site. But you can still submit those comments via an email address and I'm sure they're going to share. But we also do need to get people down to Austin to actually testify because what we're hearing is, is that the left and the Red Green alliance have teamed up and they are flooding the SBOE with comments and they plan to come down in droves to testify. And we need to support our good conservative SBOE trustees with our voices. And so I would highly encourage that folks do that now. There you go. So on here you can submit your written comments through testimony@svoe.texas.gov or you can scan that QR code. We're working on some talking points right now that we're working on with other organizations on. I would expect that those talking points will be up either Wednesday or Thursday. But simply you can say look at, we like the way that they've been presented. We had very great content creator or content creators for the, for the teaks. And these teaks are going to be around for a long time. So it's very important to say we like how they are. We don't want to Sharia in there. We don't want communism kind of ideology or LGBTQ ideology in there. Just American exceptionalism, Texas exceptionalism. That's what we want to see in these teaks. And if you want to learn more about Patriot mobile, go to www.patriotmobile.com Bannon for a free month of service. And you know, the more we grow, the more we can give. We know that we're in America's only Christian conservative wireless provider, 100% US based customer support and priority service. So there's no reason why you shouldn't be joining us because we can do a lot more. Thank you.
A
972 Patriot call and talk to someone with the East Texas accent right now. One more thing about public comments. I want to do this again. Public comments do when and how do people get them in so you can
C
submit it by email on that that last flyer that was there, and I'm sure you'll bring it up when you bring the others. Oh, there you go. So, testimonyboe.texas.gov if you email that, it will go to all the board members and they will get your comments. And you basically say you want to support the TEKS as they are now, and the literacy list as well. They've been worked on by a lot of great people
A
and you are a great person on your birthday. Jenny, thank you so much for joining us. Appreciate you, Glenn.
C
Thank you. Thank you.
A
All the work. Patriot Mobile, let me go. I got Mary Castle, but I want to go to Julie Pickering before I get to Mary, because I want to. When we do the State Board of Education, I want to focus on that. But Julie, I got to go to you first for a moment. My phone blew up over the weekend, ma', am, at this convention, which was amazing, the thousands of people there. But was there an incident that you were either verbally attacked or somebody tried to intimidate you from the Muslim Brotherhood? Can you give us the details, ma'?
D
Am?
F
Yes, Steve. First of all, it was an amazing convention. You know, I've been at the Republican Party of Texas conventions almost my entire life. So for me, it feels a whole lot like a family reunion. Getting to see a lot of friends and family members from across the state. So wonderful in that aspect. What I was not expecting is whenever I walked into my SD convention on Thursday morning, just seven or eight seats down from me was sitting the founder and president of care. So you can imagine my surprise when I'm walking into the Republican Party of Texas convention. And like I said, even in my sd, the founder and president of a terrorist organization, as designated by the governor, by Governor Abbott, and as said by the FBI, the face of the Muslim Brotherhood. So it went on to be a little bit more shocking because of House REP. That's in SD11, who is also on the a senior ranking member of the House Public Education Committee. And. And Steve, you know how we've been fighting CARE for public education. So this is particularly concerning that she is a ranking member of the House Public Education Committee, Texas House. But anyway, so she gets up, introduces the founder and the president of CARE and just gives a glowing review to him and then invites him up to the front podium as her guest and yields all of her speaking time to him, at which time he goes into what I call the CARE infomercial about how CARE is such a great organization, it's humanitarian organization, and our values are aligned with the Republican Party. Their values are aligned with the Republican party of Texas and how every Republican should join and support care. So while he's doing his care infomercial, I'm standing on the back wall. There's about 200 people in my senatorial district meeting, and I'm standing on the back wall. Then all of a sudden he sees me standing on the back wall. And the man just launches into screaming and yelling at me and calling me names from the front microphone. I start yelling back. Of course, I'm just yelling back, you're a terrorist. You're head of a terrorist organization. According to the governor of Texas, it's a mess at this point. He's screaming and yelling at me. I'm yelling back at him. The senatorial district delegates are like deer to headlights. They're caught. So then the sergeant at arms starts trying to take the microphone from him because remember, I am a state elected official and he's yelling a lot of horrible things at me, okay? So, so now the sergeant at arms is trying to take the microphone from him. He's refusing it to give it the sergeant at arms. So they kind of get into a kerfuffle while he continues screaming at me. And so at that point I walk out because I realize that I'm not.
A
Hold on, hang on, hang on, hang on. Slow down. You say screaming terrible things. Be specific.
F
Oh, you know, all the things that the love that the left, that the communists and the radicals love to call as Christian nationalist racist Islamophobes. You know, just the whole diatribe of names that they love to call us and scream at us. And so that's what he was doing at the front microphone because this house rep yielded her entire time to this man. And so it was. It was awful, just awful.
A
So what was the culmination of it? I don't understand how care if you're designated by the governor Abbott as a terrorist organization, how can they get into the Republican convention and not be, you know, rolled up and thrown in the who's gal? How does that work? What's happening in Texas that they. You have a terrorist organization heads there and able to start screaming and yelling at people that are state. State officials, ma'. Am.
F
So, Steve, you're exactly right. That's what I was saying. And here he is screaming and yelling. Like I said, I'm a state elected official and he's screaming, yelling the most God awful things at me in front of 200 people. It's not like there's not any witnesses, okay? And so several times during the convention, my team and I tried to remove their credentials from them, but unfortunately, we hit a lot of resistance again because this Texas House of Representative senior member and our Republican National Committee man kept going to the meetings, the committee meetings, where we were trying to take his credentials and just getting up and testifying for him, saying they've known him for years and he's the best thing ever, and they've been friends and he's patriotic and he loves America. Meanwhile, he's the founder and president of. Of a terrorist organization in Texas. The founder and president of care. So it was very strange to see within our own party who actually the elected officials who were standing up to defend this terrorist organization against the governor. Right. Governor has been very clear where he's out on this issue. So opposing the Governor of Texas and then also opposing our sitting Attorney General, Ken Paxton, and then our Republican nominee who's running for Attorney General, Senator Mayes Middleton, has said day one, he's going after CARE as a terrorist organization. That's agenda item number one. So to see these senior ranking members of the House, of the Texas House, and to see our National Committee man, our Republican National Committee man, who are coming in defense, standing against the governor, standing against the Attorney General of Texas, God willing, standing against our future Attorney General of Texas, it was very alarming and very shocking.
A
Julie, hang on for a second. Let me bring in Mary Castle. Mary, your director of government outreach for Texas Values. I want to talk about. A lot of this fight is about this issue we've been covering at the State Board of Election. Can you walk us through what's going. We got a couple of minutes on this side of the break, and then we'll hold you over. But what exactly is going on as this kind of culminates? This fight about Texas values and Texas school books and Texas education kind of comes to a head, ma'.
D
Am.
G
Absolutely, Steve. So we're heading into a week where we have a monumental vote at the Texas State Board of Education. Almost every decade, they take up a new subject at the Texas State Board of Education, where they rewrite the standards for social studies. Back in 2022, when they attempted to do this, all of their attempts and drafts of the social studies standards were so riddled with critical race theory, a lot of different issues, LGBTQ issues, that we told them to stop the process. And so now we're here in 20, picking up that process again, of rewriting the social studies, not rewriting history, but just rewriting the standards, refreshing them so kids can have a good understanding of our American and Texas history and our values and our Christian foundation. But as always, every time we have left leaning organizations who want to erase things like Moses as a lawgiver, who want to erase our Christian heritage, who want to say the Pilgrims came to our country for some other reason besides religious liberty. And so we're trying to hold the line at Texas values to make sure we have those good, solid standards that our Christian heritage is not erased and making sure that kids have a positive, well rounded view of our American founding in our Texas history.
A
Mary, just walk us through the logistics. You get public comments, you're going to have a vote. All that you said. This is one of the most important weeks. Can you just walk us through the week? What is going to happen? What are the big events that are going to happen?
G
Absolutely. So first things first, people should know that registration for public testimony opens tomorrow at 8am It'll be open until Friday at 5pm so if you want to be at the State Board of Education and make your voice heard, which we're encouraging as many people from all over the state to travel to Austin to testify, then you want to make sure tomorrow at 8am that you're on your computer. You go to the State Board of Education website. Just type that into your search engine and you'll find the link for public testimony when you scroll down to the meetings. And be sure to register for agenda item two for social studies after you register this week. By Friday at 5pm on Monday. Next Monday, they will have public testimony. That's when we want everyone to show up to make sure that the State Board of Education, good members like Julie Pickren and Brandon hall hold the line and make sure they head in a solid direction in preserving our history. That public testimony period begins at 8 on Monday. You want to prepare for a long day of staying there at the State Board of Education. And then throughout the week they'll be making amendments to these standards to make sure that they're strong. But we're also trying to prevent bad amendments from the left leaning groups who want to add more Islamic influence, who want to add more LGBT influence, who want to erase Christian history. We'll be watching for those amendments throughout the week and hopefully have a good solid vote on Wednesday and final victory on Friday. But just a reminder of those dates, next Monday, June 22, 8am you want to be there for the testimony to watch what's going on and tomorrow testify. And tomorrow at 8am is when you should register to testify.
A

Mary Castle There is discussion about there may be flooding the zone at this public hearing on Monday with the Red Green Alliance. Can you get our audience up to date of what that may entail? Ma'?
G
Am Absolutely. Like it has been at every single meeting. The Red Green alliance, what I call just all of the left leaning groups who don't want Christianity or American heritage to child in our social studies. They will be enforced at the meeting. They've already prepared some of their documents of counterpoints of how the standards are inaccurate or have too much Christian influence. And they already are preparing their people to show up in mass. And by in mass I mean they're going to Be there early with their signs, with their whistles, bells and whistles, protesting. And of course they always have kind of their own press gathering or circle outside of the building to be there in force. And there was some, you know, heightened testimony last time. I think there was even maybe a threat to member Hall. There's been a lot of references saying, you know, Moses is an imaginary person. So they will be there in force to try to go against everything that we stand for in our country and what is actually true history. But they're going to be there testifying and that's why it's so important that people sign up to testify. But Texas Values will be there as well. We're going to have our own showing, our own rallies. So if you're at the meeting, make sure you're there for, to show the alliance that we have for good patriotism, good American history and Christian values. And if you want to know more how to get involved with us, encounter some of that presence that the left leaning groups have, you can go to txvalues.org what's your social media?
A
Where do people track you down?
G
Mary Castle, Absolutely. You can either follow TX Values or Texas Values on social media. But my Twitter is also me Government relations. I will be live tweeting all throughout the meeting, throughout the week. So if you want those live tweets, be sure to follow me Government relations, but follow Texas Values on all social media platforms.
A
Thank you, ma'.
B
Am.
A
We're going to make an announcement. Mary Castle is going to kick off War room tomorrow morning at 10:00am we're going to talk about making sure people are aware of the 8am start of the sign. And Mary, thank you so much for joining us and I appreciate you.
G
All right, thank you, Steve.
A
Brandon hall, what are the stakes here? Sir, they try to intimidate you. Last time you and Julie Pickering held the line. This is now we're culminating. This is the battle where it all counts, right?
E
Sure is. The stakes couldn't be higher. And what's really at stake here is the future of our Texan way of life in the American republic. And if we are going to preserve those things, our students have to understand that they are Texans and Americans first. They need to know that our great heritage is actually their birthright. That they are the children of the revolution, the Alamo, Manifest destiny. Their people won back to back world wars, put a man on the moon and defeated communism. And that previous generation sacrificed greatly to give us what we have today. And so the other side, the Marxist historical revisionist and The Islamists, they understand that if our students aren't educated on those aspects of their history, if they don't know their heritage, then they can convince them very easily that it's not worth preserving. And so it's up to us to make sure we preserve these things for those future generations.
A
We're fighting for this, the school board and the textbooks. And like Julie said, this is going to last a generation, you know, maybe 10, 20 years. What, how's the word not get promulgated? So you had the situation happen in Frisco over the weekend, sir?
E
Well, I think it's because people don't know their history. They're not aware of what's going on. They don't know the history of world history. They don't understand that Islam has 1400 years worth of documented conquests where they show up on your doorstep and they come in and take over. And so when the Islamists come into your country through mass migration, they're able to be convinced that these are peaceful people, that they're just here to assimilate and be Americans. And that turns out not to be the case. But if our students know world history, they're going to be a lot more hesitant to let things like that happen. They're going to want to save their country.
A
Brandon Hanger for one second. Julie Pickering, do you have security now, ma'?
D
Am?
F
Yes, Steve, I do after this weekend, because the threats and the intimidation have actually started when I was at the microphone of the General assembly at the Republican Party of Texas. So over 4,000 delegates in the room in the General assembly, they had assured me that Tarek Hussein had left and all of his people had already packed up and left. So it was very surprising whenever I was at the microphone speaking about this issue, and all of a sudden Tarek Hussein comes up and stands behind me. But this time he has a complement of men with him, a group of men with him who were not credentialed, did not have badges, were not part of the Republican Party convention, that he just brought them back and brought them in with him and were standing behind me, obviously as an intimidation tactic to me. And so my security at that point removed me from the convention.
A
Brandon, they tried to intimidate you last time. I mean, my point is they're not going to play by the rules. They're going to make their. They don't care. You say you're not credentialing Kinka. They don't care about that. They understand that there's a lot of value in intimidation.
E
Brandon HALL well, you know, we're definitely getting threats and you know, it's because we're actually dealing with terrorists and in CARE has been proven in court to be a terrorist organization. They're used the same tactics politically that they do for their terrorism in the Middle east, which is that they use women and children for human shields. They try to intimidate you and then when they come into the board meeting, they send women and children in to speak for them. That way if they get any pushback, they can kind of run and hide and say that they're being bullied. And so but we're not intimidated at all. These people are cowards. But we are ready to stand up because Texas and America are worth saving and worth preserving.
A
Just give us the once again, you got to sign up tomorrow, but Monday is kind of, that's game week, right? We do all day testimony and then you're going to have various amendments. I guess you're going to vote on Wednesday and we'll know on Friday if we win or not. Is that it?
E
Yeah, that's right, Steve. This is the final vote. It all comes down to this. And so one thing that we know for sure, we know that CAIR is going to show up with all of their Islamist supporters. We know the Marxists will be there. The question is will God fearing Texas patriots show up? Our people were working, they're busy. But we really need them to take time out to show up on Monday and testify. It works. Last time you mobilize your audience and if we do it again, we can change US History and Texan history and bring this back to preserve it for generations to come.
A
Brandon, you're a hero. Where do people go to follow you? I know you'll be live tweeting a lot of this also where they go.
E
Yeah, I'll be live tweeting From Brandon hall tx on x.com thank you, sir.
A
Appreciate you.
C
Thank you.
E
Steve.
A
Julie Pickering, you're the one that brought this to our attention, the nation's attention a couple of months ago. How high are the stakes this week, ma'?
D
Am?
F
This is very high, Steve, because as you know, about 20 states follow our standards. So whatever we decide next week, whatever our final vote is, actually this will educate half of the children in America. So this is very high stakes because once we take this final vote next week, there is we will not be able to reopen this, revisit it, come back to it for at least 14 years. So this is the highest stakes. And the red Green alliance, they know this is Their last chance to put in a Marxist indoctrination into our social studies standards or to rewrite US and Texas history. How they've been asking to do. You know, they want us to teach that the Alamo was designed and built to honor Islam. So those. Those ridiculous requests. I'm sure we'll come back next week. But like I said, they are now resorting to intimidation and bullying and threats. So we're going to hold strong. My constituents, they have given me clear mandates. This office that I serve belongs to them. And I'm going to fight this fight, and I'm going to deliver this win for the great state of Texas.
A
Do you believe that the intimidation is working? Not for you. I know you're tough as boot leather, but you think other people are having second thoughts, like, maybe I don't want to get involved in this. Maybe I shouldn't step up and defend Texas values and American values, that they are, in fact, intimidated and they just want to slink away from this fight?
F
Yes, sir. I think that is a. I think that is a real possibility. But my. My elected cohorts, my other elected State Board of Education members, they need to realize the oath they took when they swore into this office to defend and protect the United States Constitution from enemies foreign and domestic. And we definitely have a domestic enemy right now. We actually have a foreign terrorist organization operating inside of Texas, which, by the way, Tara Khusane, who was a delegate to the Republican Party of Texas, actually wrote and published a manual on how to take over the Republican Party from within. So this is a very coordinated attack on the Republican Party, on the great state of Texas. And so, yes, my. My fellow elected officials, they just need to remember that oath of office that they swore before God and before Texas.
A
Julie, where do people get you on social media, Ma'?
F
Am, they can follow me on Twitter @Julie4TX. Julie, the number 4TX. That's my Twitter. And I'll also be live tweeting from the meeting. I have a lot of great amendments coming.
A
Steve, thank God you're tough as boot leather. Thank you, man. Appreciate you. We're going to cover this, as you can imagine, in a lot of detail. You talk about this fight for America, and, you know, a lot of people get on and talk on podcasts or go on TV or, you know, give speeches, but it's in the trenches as this is being won or lost. It is. And it's the situation in Texas where you're going to see it get very ugly. They're going to try to Intimidate people. They're going to try to make folks afraid to stand up for what they believe in. And these folks know how to do that, trust me. They are tough hombres, very tough. And this is not their first rodeo. They know how the system works and they try to exploit the system. So victory begets victory. You're either going to stand in the breach and fight it, or we're just going to roll over. And it couldn't be anything more symbolic than in the 250th year of the commemoration of our birth, of our nation, birth of the greatest nation in history. Maybe I'll talk about revolution now or maybe I'll go and talk about Lynchburg, Virginia. I think I'll talk about Lynchburg or come back and talk about the Virginia book. Metax is best selling book which is blowing away sales everywhere. Phil Klein, Lynchburg, Virginia Tell us what happened. I want people to understand because in the microcosm of what happened here speaks to larger issues. Walk us through what happened, sir.
D
Well, nationally, what the Democrats have been doing is trying to remove the ability of Republicans to select their own nominees in certain areas. They've been doing that in Virginia and they have assaulted that effort by eliminating voter registration in Virginia. And the state party, the local state party in Lynchburg, which is a metro area. It's the fifth largest metro area in Virginia, Steve, and the only one of those five that delivers Republican majorities. Even though there's a Democrat plurality in Lynchburg, they've been successful. They have six Republicans on the city council, only one Democrat. And so they hold the firehouse primary so that the base can speak and determine who their candidates are. One of those who was running for reelection is a controversial person on that council who has played the victim card, made accusations, is disruptive, and the Republicans rejected her in this firehouse primary. So she gathers together really 33 people, overwhelming majority are family members and a couple of families. And they seek to set aside the votes of 1,633 Republicans who voted and they went inside baseball and they've got friends. And you have to understand, the incumbents who are in the state legislature don't like these firehouse primaries. They like the.
A
Hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on. Slow down. When you say firehouse primary, explain to the audience what that means.
D
That means it's run by the party. They have the election in one day. Republicans come and they vote the way elections used to be, quite frankly. And there's, there's absentee ballots and so forth that they take care of. But you vote in that day. And Republicans, they can, if it's a Republican run primary, they can set the rules. And so therefore they can require people to pledge support for the Republican Party to vote in a state run primary. There's no rules because Virginia does not have voter registration. Democrats vote in the Republican primary and in fact a lot of Republican incumbents like that. That way they can defeat the more conservative candidate. That's part of the base. So they don't like these party run primaries. They want it open for Democrats to vote. In fact, some incumbents were running around encouraging Democrats to go vote anyway and they did. There were some Democrat voters who pledged support for the Republican Party. People who'd given tens of thousands of dollars to Democrat candidates and they will turn around and support Democrats in the general election. In any event, one of the persons who lost filed an appeal with the state and the state Republican Party, in a decision that I'm highly critical of, had no evidence to support, invalidated that election. And their decision, Steve, removes Republicans from the ballot completely in the general election. So the Republican Party, which I have said for some time in Virginia is captured by the consulting class. It's all about the monopoly of contracts for consulting and making money on radio, mass or mass communications and so forth. But you do have
A
a new hang, but you do have a new chairman that's trying to change that.
E
Right?
A
I mean they had a huge success on this redistricting where they came within inches, are very close to defeating it with no support from the national Republican Party. No, let's say no support from the White House to come close. And then I think part of their show of strength led the courts to overturn it. So there has been at least some attempt to get the Republican Party to respond more to the grassroots, has it not?
D
Well, there was a lot of effort to turn, overturn that constitutional amendment and the court, the Supreme Court of Virginia gave clear indication they were going to do that. I don't give credit to the Republican Party there. And it wasn't about turning out the vote. It was a legal battle within the court. The Democrats, the Republican Party of Virginia lost 17 seats in the state legislature last time. 17 seats. This is the part.
A
No, no, no, no, hang on. But you're mixing. That was, that was run by the governor and the clique around the governor, that was an absolute debacle. But it's kind of been at least a rebirth and trying to be a rebirth at some level on the grassroots level just haven't seen it.
D
I don't know where you this was.
A
I think you're dead wrong in that. Why did the, why did the GOP not come and back your play here?
D
Well, I think it's to protect incumbents. There's a delegate named Wendell Walker. He doesn't want to have a firehouse primary. The state senator, Mark Peak, was highly critical and this election was. And the Republican Party, by the way, and yes, under a different chairman, but this is the action of the state Central Committee. They have continuously dissolved local units. When these local units start to get boisterous, start to gain power and start to have voice, they don't want to be challenged in that. And Steve, maybe Mr. Reyer is trying to build a grassroots movement. I have not seen it. The Republican Party is wholly focused on this mass communication effort of the campaigns of the 90s, while the Democrats have people on the doorstep. And just as an example, in Lynchburg, in Lynchburg, Virginia, they flowed 60,000.
A
By the way, I do agree that the Democrats have taken great lessons about this voter engagement and they're doing a good job. People just have to realize they're doing a very good job of that. Continue on, Phil.
D
And so, and we're not there. We're not doing anything about it. And I think that's because the consultants can't figure out how to make money from it. But in this election, there was not one allegation that the tally was wrong, not one allegation that it wasn't transparent, not one allegation an ineligible voter voted or that an eligible voter could not vote. And there was no evidence that anything that they claimed was wrong changed an outcome or changed one single vote. Nevertheless, they threw out the vote of 1633 people and then made a decision which violated all their rules of procedure. They made a decision that there would be no Republican on the ballot for city council this November.
A
Phil, here's what I don't understand is that you talk about Lynchburg, I think the fourth or fifth metropolitan area. But when you talk about MAGA or conservatism, I mean, it's the, maybe not the city limits, but that's the home of Liberty University, which is one of the most powerful institutions not simply in the Commonwealth, but in the country. As far as conservative and Christian values go, how did that play into here? Are they basically saying that? Because I'm sure a lot of these 1600 votes came from people that are at Liberty or associated with Liberty University. How did the state party just kind of say tough luck here.
D
Well, I think a lot of it, Steve, is the condition of our media today. I mean there's really no media, very little trying to understand this. And so people just hear that there's controversy and they don't try to understand who's at fault for that controversy or what really happened. And so they believe they can get away with this stuff. They've done it before. They dissolved Norfolk, they dissolved other areas. And many of these large institutions quite frankly play it safe. Now their employees, their students vote conservative, but the institution itself doesn't want to get involved in the middle of a dog fight. They've got other things to worry about such as zoning and so forth. So very few institutions and even businesses really engage.
A
Phil, we gotta bounce because we got a heart out here. Where do people go to find out more information about you and your organization and about the specific, about this specific incident. And we'll reach out to Jeff Reyer. We want to figure out what happened here. Where do people go to find everything about you and all your great work, sir.
D
Hashtag Phil Decline Phil with two L's and if you have ryer, I'd love to be on with him. I'd love to have a conversation with him.
A
Well, fine, maybe we can set that up anyway. Phil Klein, thank you so much. One of the true warriors, legal warriors of the MAGA movement. Lynchburg, Virginia in the Commonwealth. God's country down there and liberty is one of the great institutions in our country, one of the great Christian institutions. Folks got a good old fashioned fight down in Texas. Told you weren't down there. It's going to be relentless. As goes Texas, so goes the nation and this board of education. These textbooks are a singular. The opposition, the Red Green alliance, knows how important it is and that's why they've poured in here now with the weapon of intimidation. We're going to see you back here tomorrow morning at 10:00am Eastern Daylight Time. The week is going to be on fire. We're going to start in Texas. Also the viceroy, Mike Davis is going to join us from the White House, from Dr. Dr. Navarro. A lot going on tomorrow. See you tomorrow morning at 10:00am Eastern Daylight Time. You'll be back in the war room. Everyone's focused on how the conflict in the Middle east is raising oil prices. But there's another grim reality to this contention. Oil isn't the only resource being constrained. About one third of global fertilizer trade happens through this region. And with spring planting season on top of us, American farmers are sounding the alarm with some saying they can't afford to plant their fields. When one piece of the supply chain gets hit this hard, you know what comes next? Higher fruit prices, reduced availability, maybe even panic buying. That's why having an emergency food supply at home makes so much sense. And that's where our friends at my Patriot Supply come in. Right now at preparewithbannon.com that is preparewithbannon.com we've set up an entire just site for the war room posse. You go to preparewithbannon.com that's all one word.
