Steve Bannon
Okay, just keep it. Let's keep the shot right there with the Capital One Center. That's Independence Hall. You have the Army Field Band from Fort Meade, Maryland playing the President. United States is in the building. The order of battle here is that the president is going to sign some executive orders and may be a few other talks. We've got our own Michelle Bacchus of Real America's Voice. We're going to cut away if there's any action on the stage. Michelle, are you there? Michelle Bacchus?
Michelle Bacchus
Yeah, Steve, I am here. The anticipation is definitely building here inside Capital One Arena.
Steve Bannon
Talk to me about this. Put us in the, put us in the room there. What's. I know it's exciting. It's 20,000 people. We're not having a. Well, hang on. Let's tell you what. Let's, let's listen to some music. We'll come back to Michelle Bachos in a moment preparing for the President of the United States to take the stage.
David Zier
It's. It's.
Steve Bannon
Okay. Let's go to Michelle Bacchus, Real America's Voice. She's at the Capital One arena in downtown Washington, D.C. michelle, put us in the room, Steve.
Michelle Bacchus
The anticipation is building as we're all waiting for President Trump to take the stage. And I'll tell you what, Steve, these people have been here since about 8, 9 o'clock this morning. So it's been an extremely long day for them. And mind you, they were outside waiting in the cold to get inside, ensure that they had a good seat. Now, this arena holds 20,000 people. I'm actually going to take a scan as we're sitting here on camera right now. I'll tell you what, there's more people here today than there was yesterday for the rally because you're seeing every single layer filled with people right now, and that's not including all of us down here. So I would imagine that we are at max capacity at this point. You know, it's so funny because we've all been watching the ceremony from inside of this arena and I had said that it is a pretty personal experience because everybody is cheering somewhat like a sporting event. Booze, cheers, depending on who walks out on the stage. And you know, Steve, you would think that Biden, Kamala Obama would get the loudest boos. But I'll tell you what, it was Mike Pence who got the loudest boos inside of Capital One arena today.
Ben Berkwan
Wow.
Steve Bannon
When he walked out, they had the big screen. Mike Pence was not in Capital One. He was at the Capital. He got the biggest booze. Hang on for one second. Michelle, Michelle Baca said, let's go to Ben Berkwan. Ben, we may have to cut away from you. The President comes out, where are you?
Ben Berkwan
Who you got?
Steve Bannon
Sounds like war room posse cadre. Maga, what do you got for us?
Unknown Supporter
Yeah, yeah, well, by the way, Steve, hang on. My friends over here who want, wants to come on and talk to you. We, I just found out we got a guy from Germany who came all the way over here just to support President Trump.
German Supporter
Absolutely, absolutely. So you know, this is God's day, right? Thank you so much. It's fantastic. All the energy is concentrated in Washington D.C. this is very, very, very important not only for the United States, but also live in Germany. This is what we need. It needs to come over to Germany and we're heading there. But I'm so, so happy for you, America, that America is taking itself back.
Steve Bannon
Right, okay, hang on, hang on. Ben, ask him a question. Is alternative for Deutschland going to win or not? Yes or no?
Unknown Supporter
Say that, say that one more time, Steve.
Steve Bannon
Is alternative for Deutschland. We love the thing of America. We appreciate you, bro. But is alternative for Deutschland going to win or are they not to win this? We're trying to spread this movement throughout the world. MAGA comes to Germany, Alternative journey going to win.
German Supporter
They are going to be very significant in the, in, in, in the end result, they will have a very strong, not necessarily majority, but they are going to be either the second or the third party. Absolutely. And that will be, you know, how do you say, not invited to make the coalition. So that means that in nine months we have another election.
Unknown Announcer
Right.
German Supporter
It's a bit the same story. What we had in the United States, we had to wait four years. Here in Europe, it goes a bit faster. So when there's no coalition, then they can do new elections. Right. But this energy, what we got from the United States and from, not from and from God, it's now spilling over to, to Europe. And so, so this is all going to work out like you, you, you had the most extreme version here in America. So we will, we will, we will survive though.
Unknown Supporter
Thank you, sir.
Steve Bannon
And thank you, brother. Appreciate it. Go ahead, Ben. Who else you got?
Unknown Supporter
I've got one lady. Come here, come here, come here. Your story is incredible. I want to get to Bucks county and the work that you guys did in Bucks County. But tell me about your mission over here.
Former Democrat Supporter
I was a lifelong Democrat. I was born in Chicago. It's automatic that you're a Democrat in Chicago. And I was traveling down to national association of Women in Construction. They had then officers being installed in Jackson, Mississippi. So I flew down, right? So you get in the hotel and you turn on the remote and all of a sudden Fox came on. I said, oh, I don't watch Fox. Rachel Maddow is my girl. Anderson Cooper is my guy. Wolf Blitzer than my people act like. But before I could get to the remote to change the channel, the Holy Ghost had Colin Powell come on Fox News and say to my ears, Hillary Clinton lied on him. When Hillary Clinton said that Col. Colin Powell had endorsed her, that wasn't true. He said out his mouth. I said, oh, it's another side to the story.
Unknown Supporter
And that's what woke you up?
Former Democrat Supporter
It woke me up. I've been with our president ever since then.
Unknown Supporter
And are you seeing that shift in the black community waking up to what? To the lives of the Democrats, especially black men.
Former Democrat Supporter
Only 8%.
Unknown Supporter
One second. Go ahead, Steve.
Steve Bannon
No, about the black man. I want to ask her. As a native of Chicago and someone I'm sure loves Chicago, the mayor of Chicago. Tomorrow was supposed to be the first of the mass deportations, raids on criminal illegal aliens by Tom Homan. And the mayor, who's a big proponent of sanctuary cities, dared President Trump to come in and do it. That may or may not be on hold. We're trying to get clarity. What are her thoughts on that? Is her beloved Chicago is a sanctuary city where President Trump has to send his forces in first?
Unknown Supporter
Yeah. What do you think about looking at the mayor of Chicago, Mayor Johnson defying President Trump? And now we've got Homan saying he's going in. That's going to be the tip of the spear. They're starting in Chicago and maybe postponed for a little while, but that's where they're going. How do you feel about that?
Former Democrat Supporter
Wait. I can't wait. Because let me tell you something. America is great. It was great when I was a child. Our parents made $60 an hour in today's money working for Ford, the steel mill, the Stock There was 23,000 manufacturing jobs in Chicago in the 60s. It was money flowing. Manufacturers need hands. They don't care if the hands are black hands. Black green hands. They need hands. So it doesn't matter. People made money. You came out of high school not know nothing. You gonna get $25 an hour to start. Minimum wage was only $2.65. That's behind them. I worked at Burger King for $2.65 when I came home from school. No, thank God. But, you know, God had to let the Democrats steal the last election because people, ordinary people, Democrats, middle of the road. Everybody didn't know who we're fighting. They didn't know how demonic we're fighting to Satan. How can you take a man, get breast sewn on him, and have him running around the White House naked on Easter? Come on now, give me a break. Somebody. Ridiculous. So it's all good, but I can't wait for to go knock on the door and talk to that boy because it's just.
Unknown Supporter
Should he go to jail? Should Johnson go to jail?
Former Democrat Supporter
I think he should.
Steve Bannon
Yeah.
Former Democrat Supporter
I think. Because isn't that illegal?
German Supporter
Yeah.
Former Democrat Supporter
To have, you know, harbor criminals. Yeah, that's illegal.
Unknown Supporter
That's illegal.
Former Democrat Supporter
And the worst thing about it was. Excuse me, my mouth is dry. In my own eyes, I saw this. I went to Chicago in my own eyes. There's a building that's a red brick building, and it's like a block long. Warm buses in front of the building. Then you look down the street under the viaduct. Y'all know where the viaduct is in Chicago? That's the over bridge. You know, it was black people, homeless, with all veterans, was all living up under that bridge. And they got these illegal aliens coming and giving them everything. I couldn't understand that. But the plan didn't work. It worked with Daley the first time because Daley said he met Daddy Daly, made Chicago Democratic forever when he sent his precinct captains down to the train station because all trains went through Chicago. Went to the train station and started talking to people that was obviously not from here. They gave them a job and a house. The only requirement, they had to vote Democrat. If you didn't vote Democrat, you lose your job. Even if you work for the city, you had to vote Democrat.
Unknown Supporter
Hey, brighter days, Brighter days are ahead.
Steve Bannon
Ben, hang on for a second. We're coming right back to you, so just stick right there. We're hearing from the voice of the people. Vox populi, vox dei. We're going to also go to Capital One Center. They are seating the VIPs. The President may be out momentarily. I think we're going to take this break or blow it. We're going to take it. Take the break in a couple of minutes or blow the break. Waiting for the President. We'll take the break a couple of minutes. Having a slight technical problem with all the networks in the Capitol Center. We have our own. David Zier is there. Michelle Bacchus is there. I think Brian Glenn is heading over there. What's going to happen in the Capital One center because of the frigid weather is also not a, not a parade today or the parade is going to take place in Capitol center or some version of the parade is going to take place in Capitol Center. You have the Army Field band right now is playing their amazing music and President Trump is going to enter. The VIPs are entered. He'll be in in a few minutes. Part of the exercise today at the Capital One center is President Trump's going to sign even more executive orders. Already signing dozens and dozens of dozens. Everything from taking woke out of different institutions to the energy. Full energy, full energy dominance. Full spectrum energy dominance. Remember, that's the predicate as we've taught here in the war room for a to have a robust, thriving economy. I want to thank the team at home. Title lock. We're going to need you at the ramparts starting today. President Trump promised and committed he would change the direction of the country before sundown on his first day in office. And he is doing it all over the country. Country. In fact, if we can try to get, we'll try to get. Oscar Blue Ramirez, give us report from Mexico where take it. Okay, the family's coming. I tell you, we may not go to break. We're going to stick and we stick with it right here. Let's go ahead and go to the Capital Center. I want to see the family is coming out. That means the president United States will be short. Let's go. In fact, let's go there live right now to the Capitol Center. President Donald J. Trump.
David Zier
It's.
Steve Bannon
Okay what you're seeing there. We're going to keep the, the visual up from the feed. Is the Capital Center. That's the family coming out. VIPs have come out. It's quite interesting. We monitor everything here. My producer Harry tells me MSMC cut away from the family. It says they can't stand it. The family so kind of all American. Don Jr. Had Eric had the wives, had Baron. When they isolated Baron up on the big screen, MSNBC cut away. So right there you see the family. You see the reception they got from inside the arena. This is a day of kind of jubilee, jubilation and joy. It's a day of celebration. Remember in 2017. Okay, here we go. Music's going to stop at the trail. President come out. Let's go to Capital One Center. Here's some of the army band.
David Zier
At.
Steve Bannon
The Capital Moon Center. President's family is there. The VIPs are there. We've got an Entire team. But we're just going to let the ambient, this great music from the army band play. President Trump is going to arrive in a moment. Let's go. I tell you what, while we have a second. While we have a second, let's go. Today we have David Zier and Michelle Bacchus in the. Are they ready? Let's go to them. We had a little problem technically. Let's go back to David Zier. Michelle Bacchus put us in the room, folks.
Michelle Bacchus
Barron Trump, a fan favorite. He got a huge round of applause. But you can hear that the crowd, they've been waiting for this all day. Steve, you can actually see right behind me, Ivanka, Tiffany, they're panning over throughout the entire family right now.
Unknown Commentator
Steve, a memorable day for anyone who's here. And all these people came from all over the country. Rap fans everywhere, war room fans everywhere. Guy just bought us pretzels for the crew. They're all hurt. They're all looking for a sign of hope. They got to get inflation down. Kids can't buy houses, right? They can't buy eggs. Seven, eight, nine dollars a dozen in New York City. So these people are clamoring for fast change and a new direction for our country.
Steve Bannon
So what we're here, folks, at the Capital One center. We're doing a little differently this cycle is that we're going to have a parade or guess, some sort of mini parade or some sort of manifestation. You've got the VIPs there, you have many cabinet officials there. You have the family there as it goes around and isolates people on the big screen of the Jumbotron. People getting standing ovations. People should understand. Michelle, you told me people were lined up at 4 or 5 in the morning. They've been actually in the building since 8 or 9 this morning.
Ben Berkwan
Is that true?
Michelle Bacchus
That's exactly it. And the concessions opened around 9:00. People had cheeseburgers, chicken fingers at 9:00am but everyone's in good spirits. Everyone's been very hopeful, excited all day. I haven't heard anyone complain, Steve. And I'll tell you what, I haven't heard anyone complain about it getting moved indoors as well. That is something everyone just says they'd rather be safe than sorry. Obviously, safety, a number one concern.
Steve Bannon
Yeah, yeah. You know, my concern about this is that I think President Trump, I'm going to take this to. Will get very serious about this initially. What is coming in now is the. Is that one of the bands? Okay, we're going to cut to this in a Second, but I think one of the concerns about safety and security clearly wasn't weather. Today we've heard two conflicting narratives. One, it was the outer ring, that the police departments would not cooperate with Metro, with the Metropolitan Police of D.C. because of the Mayor Bowser and they said they couldn't secure the outer, the outer perimeter. People got very nervous of what could happen actually in the crowd. The respectively a million people, 250,000 tickets, I think, and then 750,000 folks just arriving. They couldn't guarantee it. Others was this drone situation. I'm sure President Trump is going to look into it very tightly. Let's go back to the Capitol Center. Let's go back and hear what's happening.
Unknown Announcer
Direction of Major Aaron Morris. Let's hear for the folks. Grass and glory. Ladies and gentlemen, Please welcome the 50th Vice President of the United States of America, Vice President J.D. banks, accompanied by the Second Lady, Mrs. Usha Vance.

Ladies and gentlemen, the heroes of Butler county are here. And they are here to pay homage to life, selfless community service and sacrifice of Corey Comparatori. Mr. Comparatori, a 10 year US Army Reserve veteran and past fire chief to the Buffalo Township Volunteer Fire Company who died during the assassination attempt on the life of President Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, July 13, 2024. Their formation consists of Pennsylvania State Police, local police, county sheriffs, Emergency Services Unit, EMS 911 radio, DIS dispatch and hospital personnel who all heroically stepped into action during the horrific attack. They are also paying tribute to the courageous service of first responders nationwide. Ladies and gentlemen, at this very special event, let us now take a moment of silence in honor of Cory Comparatori. Thank you very much ladies and gentlemen.
Steve Bannon
And you're there with Michelle Bachelor us. You've got some stats on the on the Butler Band. Tell us what you got, sir.
Unknown Commentator
Steve. So what was very moving here about this parade here? Originally it was 7,000 people I think participating in it. But what was moving is they had Corey Comparatori's fire jacket leading this ensemble in this parade. I don't know who is participating in the band right now, who marched out. But definitely a very moving moment here. And we saw law enforcement and firefighters across the country, firefighters union, law enforcement endorsements from all over the country.
Steve Bannon
David, hang on one second, hang on one second. You have the new military academy. Donald Trump is a graduate the New York Military Academy. He gives tells a lot that it did a lot to form him. He was kind of a wayward youth, went to the military academy, got his attention. Let's watch him march in Donald Trump's.

Hey War Room. Hope you're all doing well. My name is Trevor Comstock, I'm one of the co creators of Sacred Human and I wanted to share just a little bit more about our brand. For those who may not know of us yet, but about six months ago we decided to launch Sacred Human with really the simple mission being to provide American made natural supplements without all the artificial nonsense. So unfortunately, as many of you know, a lot of these big corporate supplements will include things like preservatives, artificial ingredients and other additives that really aren't benefiting your health. So that's why we created Sacred Human, really trying to fill this gap of quality supplements and of course the beef liver being our flagship products. For those who don't know, beef liver is loaded with highly bioavailable ingredients such as vitamin A, B12, zinc CoQ10, etc. Etc. And because it is 100% grass fed and natural, your body is able to absorb these nutrients far better than taking out any other synthetic multivitamin or any other synthetic vitamin in general. So we have some other amazing products, but if you'd like to check us out, you can go to sacredhumanhealth.com and cheers to your health.
WarRoom Battleground EP 689: Golden Age Of Trump Inauguration Day
Release Date: January 21, 2025
In this pivotal episode of Bannon’s War Room, host Steve Bannon delivers a comprehensive coverage of President Donald J. Trump’s inauguration day at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. The episode captures the electrifying atmosphere, key discussions, supporter interactions, security concerns, and the commencement of Trump's administration initiatives.
The episode opens with Steve Bannon providing a vivid portrayal of the inauguration venue:
“[00:02] Steve Bannon: Okay, just keep it. Let's keep the shot right there with the Capital One Center. That's Independence Hall. You have the Army Field Band from Fort Meade, Maryland playing...”
Michelle Bacchus from Real America’s Voice joins in to emphasize the scale of the event:
“[00:30] Michelle Bacchus: Yeah, Steve, I am here. The anticipation is definitely building here inside Capital One Arena.”
Bannon highlights the significant turnout:
“[03:29] Michelle Bacchus: ...there's more people here today than there was yesterday for the rally because you're seeing every single layer filled with people right now...”
A notable moment discussed is the crowd’s reaction to Vice President Mike Pence:
“[04:35] Ben Berkwan: Wow.”
“[04:35] Steve Bannon: When he walked out, they had the big screen. Mike Pence was not in Capital One. He was at the Capital. He got the biggest boos.”
Contrary to expectations, Pence received the loudest boos, surprising attendees and commentators alike.
Steve Bannon engages with supporters, including an international perspective:
“[05:07] German Supporter: ...this energy is concentrated in Washington D.C. this is very, very, very important not only for the United States, but also live in Germany...”
Bannon probes the German supporter about the success of Alternative für Deutschland (AfD):
“[05:38] Steve Bannon: Is alternative for Deutschland going to win or not? Yes or no?”
The supporter responds optimistically about AfD’s influence:
