Steve Bannon
This is the primal scream of a dying regime. Pray for our enemies because we're going medieval on these people. Reasons I got a free shot. All these networks lying about the people, the people have had a belly full of it. I know you don't like hearing that. I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it. It's going to happen.
Terry Schilling
And where do people like that go.
Steve Bannon
To share the big lie?
Terry Schilling
MAGA MEDIA I wish in my soul.
Steve Bannon
I wish that any of these people had a conscience. Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose? If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
Stephen K. Bannon
War Room here's your host, Stephen K.
Charlie Kirk
Band Foreign.
Terry Schilling
You right now should come out and be like, you know what.
Kerry Sheffield
The young man who's about to win the state championship in the long jump in female sports, right?
Terry Schilling
That's that. That shouldn't happen. You as the governor should step out.
Steve Bannon
And say, no, no, and I appreciate.
Kerry Sheffield
And, but like, would you do something like that?
Terry Schilling
Would you say no? Men in female sports.
Steve Bannon
Well, it's, I think it's an issue of fairness. I completely agree with you on that. So that's easy to call out the unfairness of that. There's also a humility and a grace, you know, that these poor people are more likely to commit suicide, have anxiety and depression. And the way that people talk down to vulnerable communities is an issue that I have a hard time with as well. So both things I can hold in my hand. How can we address this issue with the kind of decency that I think is inherent in you, but not always expressed? Okay. Friday 7 March Yerviller 2025 A lot to get through in this hour and we're gonna do it all this is, I want to do this because Charlie Kirk was on the first podcast of Governor Gavin Newsom. It's gone viral, like mega viral. And one of the reasons, I don't know, Gavin Newsom threw a few of his core beliefs over the side. Far be it from me to say that he was getting ready to run in 2028 and wanted to get more to the center. But I, when I saw this particularly, I had to ask two of the warriors that have been at the front line of this fight forever. Terry Sheffield from the Independent Woman's Voice and the our beloved Terry Schilling from American Principles Project. Kerry Sheffield, I want to start with you. Could you believe that was Gavin Newsom or was he having an out of body experience? Ma'am.
Terry Sheffield
Hey, Steve, I can believe it was him because he's a panderer. That's who he is. And he also doesn't have any core values because he's just a puppet for putting the finger in the wind. And he sees this as an 8020 issue, at least. And so that's why he's doing this. But let's not forget, I am old enough to remember that he was trying to punish parents who were upset for schools for transitioning their children without their permission. So I don't trust him. I think he's a snake, an opportunist. That being said, as you're right, Independent Women's Forum, we've been at the forefront of defending women's sports, but this goes beyond just sports. It's also about women's shelters, women's prisons. Let's see if he. Because California is ground zero for shipping off men into women's prisons. And there we hear reports of alleged rapes and assaults by men being shipped by yours truly, Gavin Newsom, by the government of California, allowing this to happen. So I respect that. Perhaps he might be having a change of thought here. We'll see. The proof will be in the pudding.
Steve Bannon
Terry Schilling. I remember, you know, with what Kerry just said, that you told me one time that, hey, it's all going to be about California, because that's the railhead of this quite dangerous transgender ideology. And I think all of us are old enough to remember, as Kerry said, that Gavin Newsom was kind of the leader of the pack of this. Correct. So is this something where you guys should just take the win? Because this guy's had a metanoia, he's had a change of heart or a change of being? Or do you think he's just a narcissistic opportunist? Terry Schilling.
Josh Phillips
No, look, Steve, the real deal here is words are cheap, talk is cheap, right? We need action. He needs to sign an executive order. He can do this. He can say simply that he's upholding civil rights law, right? That's where Title IX is. It's in civil rights law. He can sign executive order. And it can actually be in response to President Trump's threats to withhold federal funding for states that put boys in girls sports, right? Endangering girls. This is. I just wanna point out how groundbreaking President Trump's actions are on the Steve name. The last time a Republican president ever withheld federal funding from a state over any issue, right? It's the women's sports issue. It's the women's safety issue. President Trump is the biggest champion, not just for families, but for women. He's killing the Democrats on this issue. I was at the State of the Union. Well, the not State of the Union. The Democrats couldn't clap for these female athletes that had their faces smashed in and had their entire athletic careers destroyed. They wouldn't even support them. It's a brave new world. It's absolutely beautiful. President Trump's changed the game, but we're winning. So we don't care what Gavin Newsom does. He is genuine genuflecting. It's a big tell that we're winning this fight, that he's having to genuflect to this issue. But he has to back it up with actions. He's gotta sign something into law.
Steve Bannon
Kerry is, is that is. Do you read the same way he's genuflecting now to the fact that we've taken the high ground on this issue, which is essentially common sense. And your point? It's an 8020 that Gavin Newsom, understanding he wants to be a national figure, he's going to run against Stephen A. Smith and Mark Cuban and others, that he's seen the light and realizes that he's been way too radical on this. He's got to get to the center on this issue. And if you don't get to the center on this issue, you're just not viable as a national political figure. Ma'am.
Terry Sheffield
Yes, I agree with Terry, by the way. I love that we're having war room, but Terry and I both in card. I love that's why we're in the trenches. So I'm here in Palm beach, backfiring cartel. But, yeah, Terry's spot on. Let's not forget also this week that the U.S. senate had a chance to ratify the House bill that Speaker Johnson pulled through to protect women's sports. And there was basically, correct me if I'm wrong, Terry, unanimous Democrat opposition to this bill. And they killed it. The Republicans only had 51 votes, so they couldn't overcome the filibuster. And so this bill right now is dead. And so that is truly upsetting for us at Independent Women's Voice because this, this is an 8020 issue. And in fact, a majority of Democrats do not want men in women's sports. So these Democrats who voted against this, at 45 Democrats, they are going against the majority of their own base. And as far as Gavin Newsom is concerned, the fact is that he's kind of desperate right now because of how terribly he's mismanaged the fires. And I hope the people of California do not forget this. I'm old enough again to remember that when he completely botched it and then he, and then he tried, you know, a romance or a bromance with President Trump because President Trump was riding high on his electoral victory, his historic victory. And so I just, I think the utter incompetence of how Gavin Newsom has driven people out of his state. There's so much that he has to do to un roll his damage that he's been inflicting on his own people. It is shocking that for California's first time in his history under Gavin Newsom, it has lost population and has lost congressional districts. So, and it has to do with the way they, they bankroll illegal immigrants, the way they, their housing and their zoning, the EV mandates. I mean, this is, the gender stuff is just the tip of the iceberg as to the failures of Gavin Newsom. And I just hope, I believe the American people have enough common sense to see through his snake oil.
Steve Bannon
Well, let's, let's talk about some of the common sense. Let's go, I think Harry Enton at cnn. I want to play you a little bit of polling, then want to bring both of you guys back in the conversation. Let's go and hit it.
Terry Schilling
In another tariff twist, President Trump started threatening new tariffs as soon as tomorrow on Canadian dairy and lumber, a product used extensively in building homes. Listen to this.
Steve Bannon
Canada has been ripping us off for years on tariffs for lumber and for dairy products.
Terry Schilling
250%.
Steve Bannon
Nobody ever talks about that. 250%. Okay. It's a Friday afternoon. It's a Friday afternoon. That's called a goof. Do we have the, do we have the clip? Can we play it? Terrific. We have some polling, Terry Schilling, that. We have some poll. We have some polling, Terry Schilling, that shows that Americans overwhelmingly, and this is cnn. Harry Anton says that Americans overwhelmingly support the common sense, the common sense revolution that you've been talking about. What is it going to take back to Kerry, back to Kerry's point. What is it going to take to get the US Senate to move off the dime here and move this kind of legislation. That's very common sense about this and actually start to codify because we can't depend upon executive orders forever. No.
Kerry Sheffield
All right.
Josh Phillips
So, Steve, this is where I get really fired up because this is proof in the pudding that politics is upstream of culture. We've been saying this. I mean, this did not, this fight did not come from academia. This fight, this pushback didn't come from Hollywood. It happened because President Trump jumped in the arena and he saved the day and made this an issue. So what that poll showed on the CNN segment, this is the second time they've run that segment. So they want these Democrats to moderate on it. But it showed that before the election, before Trump had actually taken office and run on this, the support for this issue was at 63%. After President Trump signed that executive order and campaigned on it, the support for it was 79% in support and 19% against. This is now a super duper majority. Steve, what other issue is a 4 to 1?
Stephen K. Bannon
Right.
Josh Phillips
It's a 4 to 1 margin. For every one person that wants men and women's sports, there's four others that don't.
Terry Schilling
Right.
Josh Phillips
So here's where this changes, Steve. We're going to get to 60 votes eventually. They're either going to feel the pressure from voters and I want to come back on next week with some of our plans. We're doing a poll in Georgia to show the numbers. It's going to be very strong. But they need to feel the pressure from voters. They need to get the phone lines lit up. And so we need to work, we need the war room policy to light these guys phone lines up. But they got to start losing more elections over this. I think we will get to 60 votes in the Senate for this. If we win the next midterm and we win the next presidential. When these issues are central, I think it could come sooner. If we win this next midterm, they would have lost a presidential election. And then the midterms, that's unheard of. If they don't moderate, they are going to keep killing themselves. We have to keep driving this. If they don't want to get along and protect our daughters, who cares?
Steve Bannon
Screw them.
Josh Phillips
We'll just throw them out of office. Throw the bums out.
Steve Bannon
Right?
Josh Phillips
But they have a choice. Protect our daughters or get thrown on your butt.
Steve Bannon
Hang on, let me. I think I got the Harry in a piece. I do want to play it. I want to get Carrie in here. I want to say Terry Schilling is the very first person that sat down and told me that it was going to be like this. And I realized this thing is so weird. How can people support it? But then you see the overwhelming support. And this was the central, what I call marginal issue of 24 that took some of these marginal voters and pushed it over the side. Let's play Harry Ann at cnn. And we'll bring in Kerry Sheffield now.
Terry Schilling
Harry, it is important to point out that Newsom also said that he had a difficult time seeing how transgender folks have been treated by some. He believes that they should not be disparaged for choices that they make and ways that they are described in the public. I do wonder, where do Americans stand on this issue of transgender folks in sports? How has that changed over time? Yeah, look, I think it's very important to separate transgender folks in sports versus in society at large. But let's focus in on sports. Right? That was the main focus of their conversation. And I think it's important to note that this is an issue in which there is near uniformity among the American public. So transgender female athletes in women's sports. Get this. Just 18% say, allow them compare that to the vast majority, 79% of Americans who oppose. You rarely see 4/5 of Americans agree on anything, but they do agree on this in their opposition to transgender female athletes in women's sports. And it's not just that you see this near uniformity in terms of the opposition. The opposition is becoming larger over time. And we can see this very well by looking at this time trend. And you can see the numbers in 2025 and compare them to 2021. Again, transgender female athletes, those who oppose them in women's sports. Look at this. In 2021, it was a majority, but it was a little bit more than three fifths. It was 62%. Look at where we are now. Again, in 2025, it's 79%. So the majority opposing transgender female athletes in women's sports has only become larger over time. Again, you rarely see 4/5 of Americans agree on anything, but they do agree on this issue. Boris Newsom, obviously a Democrat. How do folks feel about this? Broken down by politics, party affiliation. Yeah, obviously, Gavin Newsom is the Democratic governor of California. And again, when you break it down by party, I think this is where the numbers get really interesting, because you rarely get a majority of Democrats, Independents, and Republicans to agree on an issue. But you do on this particular issue. Again, transgender female athletes oppose them in women's sports. Look at this. You get 2/3 of Democrats, 67%, who agree with Gavin Newsom's position. Progressive Democrats are actually the ones who. Who are out of the mainstream of the Democratic Party. Again, among independents, you get a very similar number, 64%. And then look among Republicans, boys, 94% of Republicans. So, yeah, Republicans are more lockstep on this than Democrats are. But Democrats very clearly on the side of wanting to oppose transgender female athletes in women's sports, they are on the side of Gavin Newsom. I wonder, obviously, it's something that unifies Republicans. This issue, how important is it compared to other issues? Yeah, I think this will kind of give you a good understanding of how important this is to Republicans. Right. We were talking about Democrats, but amongst Republicans, this is really what riles them up. Again, GOP who strongly want to ban transgender female athletes from women's sports. Look at that. 84% who strongly want to. Not somewhat feel it. They strongly want to. And to put that in a person's perspective, Right. How about the percentage of Republicans who strongly want to deport all immigrants in America? Legally, it's just 58%. Of course, this has been an issue that Donald Trump has run on for years. Yet the issue that more Republicans rally around, the one that gets more of them riled up, is this issue of banning transgender female athletes from women's sports. Again, 84% who strongly want to ban it. You rarely see numbers like this. This is an issue in which Democrats, Republicans agree. Gavin Newsom on the side of most Democrats, progressives out of the mainstream, and which Republicans feel really, really, really strongly. Boris.
Steve Bannon
Yeah.
Terry Schilling
Perhaps not surprisingly, that one of Trump's most effective ads in the last campaign cycle.
Steve Bannon
Highlight. That ad was unbelievable. So, Kerry Sheffield, now that Harry Anton broke down the numbers across the board, how did the Senate not pass this? How did it not break cloture? How did. How did this. Not the filibuster not fall aside? How was this not passed in the United States Senate? That part I don't get, ma'am.
Terry Sheffield
I think it has to do with their desire to attempt to obstruct anything that this president wants. I think that's really what it is. They are so entrenched that they would rather poison themselves than to allow something good to happen because they think it will hurt our president. That's fundamentally what I believe is happening here. And the safety of women be damned, their own political constituencies be damned. They just want to hurt our president. I think that's fundamentally what this is. I also want to pick up, though, and just address something that Newsom said in that clip, which is that transgender people quite often suffer from, you know, suicidal ideation or mental illness. The fact of the matter is, you know, the UK looked at this with children who are reporting dysphoria, gender dysphoria, and they have, I believe it's at least five comorbidities on average. You're talking about they have anxiety, they have depression, they have eating disorders, they might have disassociative disorder. They have all sorts of other issues. And they think that taking this lifestyle choice will mask everything and somehow magically make it all better. And that's what I think is truly abhorrent about the left in using children as pigs for this experiment, when in actuality they're not treating the underlying depression, anxiety, other comorbidities with their mental health. And so I think the sports, as far as I'm concerned, is just the tip of the iceberg as it relates to treating people with gender dysphoria and also stopping the social contagion that was so aptly identified by Abigail Shire.
Steve Bannon
Kerry, where do people find out more about your fight, more about your group and your social media handle? Ma'am.
Terry Sheffield
Thanks, Steve. Absolutely. I'm at independent women's voice, iwv.org, carrie Sheffield, all over social media and IWV as well.
Steve Bannon
Kerry, thank you so much. I know you're in the trenches down in Palm Beach. Suffer on, Ma'am. Thank you. Terry Schilling. The numbers, the numbers are overwhelming. Tell me the next action steps because this is still a massive issue for us and it's one we're winning on. Yes, sir.
Josh Phillips
Look at those numbers with the Democrats, 67% are on our side on this. It's not insane to think that the Democrats will have a primary challenger from the right on this.
Steve Bannon
Right.
Josh Phillips
These incumbents that are voting against it, they could have primary challengers that run and make this a central part. So next week I want to come back on Steve. We're dropping some stuff. We gotta light Ossif's phones up. He's gotta feel the heat. We gotta start. Look, we're launching an always on campaign, Steve. We gotta soften these guys up. We gotta attack them throughout the whole year. They gotta feel the pressure. I know this whole experience when my dad was in Congress. Well, I want to come back on. I got some stuff to share with you guys. It's going to be very exciting.
Steve Bannon
Perfect. By the way, I think Newsom, I think Newsom's taking your political strategy. They're not going to get to the right of Newsom on this, on this issue. That's why he did the Charlie, that's why Charlie Kirk was the first guest on his podcast. He wanted to get it out there. You're not going to get to the right of Newsom on this. At least the new reconstructed Gavin Newsom you watch. I think he's, I think he's, he believes his first mover advantage. Terry Schilling. Where do people go? What's your handle on social media? Where they go to find out more about American Principles Project.
Josh Phillips
It's just american principles project.org and you can follow me on all social media sites at Schilling. 1776 S C H I L L I N G 1776.
Steve Bannon
Thank you, brother. Appreciate you, sir. Terry Coming on next week, by the way, we're also going to have more about Wisconsin, if not tomorrow, then on Monday. But this Supreme Court, Supreme Court race there all important. Want to bring in one of my favorite journalists at one of my favorite papers, the Epoch Times Josh Phillips. Guy that does amazing work on a paper. Does amazing work. Okay, so I think it's 10 or 12 Chinese nationals have been, I think, indicted. They're actually in mainland China, so they haven't been arrested. And they're hackers. And one of the institutions they're hacking and doing constant cyber attacks is our beloved Epoch Times. Josh Phillips, unpack that for us. What in the hell's going on?
Kerry Sheffield
Well, geez, I mean, we were kind of surprised to find out too. I mean, at epic times, we get a lot of cyber attacks. We are aware of it. But what is interesting with this is, yeah, a dozen Chinese nationals have now been indicted by the FBI. About 10 of these, you know, were. Well, eight of them are with a private company called Isoon. And apparently this was like a mercenary company that the CCP was hiring. They're like, they're hackers for hire. And they would charge the Ministry of Public Security, which is like one of their big spy branches. They would charge them for every email they breached or every cell phone they breach. So on the Ministry of Public Security, two of them were indicted on this. And the Ministry of Public Security, those are the guys who run the secret Chinese police stations. That's the one that does the secret Chinese police stations. And so, you know, this whole case gets unsealed, we find out they were targeting us. And according to the indictment, it says that these Chinese hackers, they breached the cell phones, I believe, or the computers of our former CEO of our vice president. They were looking for apparently, like, you know, contacts we had with dissidents in China. Because at epic Times, of course, we get a lot of whistleblowers stepping forward. We get a lot of inside information. The CCP was apparently trying to find who these people were to, you know, who. Who knows what to them. They were also hacking our website, apparently. 2016, they launched these denial of service attacks, basically overloading our servers, shutting it down. I remember being there when that happened. You know, our services were going down. We were like, wow, we're under a massive cyber attack. What's happening? Finally, you know, all these years later, we find out what happened. Turns out we were under attack by the ccp, which we expected at the time as well. But apparently what they did, they were breaching our system. And the Chinese Communist Party wanted the IP addresses of people who are accessing our website from China because they wanted to go and arrest them. Yeah, read Epoch Times. You'll go to jail, you know, in China, apparently. And that's what they were doing. And so, I mean, this whole thing is pretty shocking to us.
Steve Bannon
Doesn't it show? By the way, Ministry of State Security is a combination of FBI and CIA. It is literally the hammer. They're the ones that roll guys up in the middle of the night, you never see them again. Right. I mean, these people are as tough as you can possibly get, sir. Correct.
Kerry Sheffield
Yeah. So this is different. The Ministry, there's the Ministry of State Security. There's a Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of State Security. I mean, they're kind of similar mss. These guys are Ministry of Public Security. And they kind of do the same thing. I mean, they're almost the same thing, but. And they do a lot of things that overlap as well. Like Ministry of State Security. Those were the guys who were doing. When they had Operation Fox Hunt and they had Chinese Communist Party agents who were hunting down people in the United States and, you know, bringing them back to China, threatening their families, forcing them to commit suicide. That was Ministry of State Security, Ministry of Public Security. Very, very similar. Again, another Chinese Communist Party agency. Those are the ones involved with this. Those are the ones running the secret Chinese police stations. When you heard about they're setting up these police networks in the United States, like New York, they had it. I mean, crazy to even think about. They had it in New York. A Chinese police station. That's who these guys are. And they're the ones also targeting Americans, doing things against us right here, you know, right here in our own backyards.
Steve Bannon
Could you get any better validation of the great reporting? Because epic times. I mean, the paper, every day, you got five or six main stories you can get into. Plus you got the features, you got all the investigative reporting you do. Could you guys ever wish to have a better validation of how serious your reporting is on exposing the dictatorial nature of the Chinese Communist Party than have the Chinese Communist Party literally try to get into on your servers and find out who's reading it in China so they can go arrest them.
Kerry Sheffield
Sir, it's, you know, I call it the Chinese Pulitzer. You know, you know you're doing something right if you get blacklisted by the Chinese Communist Party. But at the same time too, we actually found out there's a lot going on. We had whistleblowers come out and this has been revealed now by the diplomat, by other reporting. It turns out that Xi Jinping himself, the head of the Chinese Communist Party, gave orders a couple years back to mobilize all of their spies, all of their overseas resources to attack the Epoch Times, Scheng Performing Arts and our sister media ntd. Because according to these whistleblowers, again verified now they believe that we can inform, you know, the current government about the threats from China. And they regard us as a national security threat, like the survival of the Communist Party. And so they're coming after, it seems with everything they have right now.
Steve Bannon
It couldn't be a higher compliment. Can you hang on for a second, Josh, we just want to hold you through the break. Epic Times. If you don't get it, you should. It is a, I think the best broadsheet in the country. And I say that as a someone that consumes news non stop. The quality of the team they put together, the, the integrity of which they represent and they're coming after them non stop in every different angle. Right. You had Southern District, you have other people coming after them under the Biden regime. They're a central threat to the ccp. And the CCP is, you know, no holds bar and try to come after them. Remember, the CCP will do anything. This is why Jace Medical is so important. President Trump negotiating kind of a Russian rapprochement to make sure they break them off from the grip the Chinese Communist Party has on the Russians. With that comes Persia and peace in Ukraine, a whole bunch of good things. But the Wall Street Journal is reporting that Xi understands that they're kind of being surrounded, they're kind of being cut off. And they're studying the Soviets in the 70s to find out how the same fate does not hit them. Where President Reagan comes in and says, hey, we've got him contained. Now let's destroy the evil empire. Your thoughts, sir?
Kerry Sheffield
Yeah, well, you know, the CCP would know it because it's what happened again when they broke the Sino Soviet alliance. And that was again, the thinking with going to China, of course, Richard Nixon, and making deals with China in order to break them from the Soviets. The CCP was on the other side of it before. Now it's happening to them, but I think very much in Russia. This is what I think is happening. I think Trump is looking at Russia, Ukraine. He's not saying we're gonna go all in for Ukraine, which is why I think Zelenskyy is not wanting the deal right now. But I think strategically Trump understands that a Russia pulled away from China would be good for the United States. It would be good for trade, it would be great for the economy, frankly, maybe even good for just values. And Xi Jinping, I think, very much understands this. Case in point, when Vladimir Putin met with Kim Jong Un in order to get support from the North Koreans for the war, Xi Jinping actually got very unhappy with it. Xi Jinping actually punished North Korea and threatened Russia. And Russia, as they've been kind of sanctioned, pushed away from the free world, they don't have a lot of places to go right now. And the Chinese Communist Party, even though they had this no limits agreement and so on, the CCP has been taking advantage of Russia. The amount they charge them for a lot of their goods, they rip them off. Russia is not in a good place being forced to only really do business with China. If Russia tries doing business even with other countries in that area, again, like even North Korea, the CCP gets angry at them. And the other important facet to remember is this Vladimir Putin. People can think what they want about him. He's actually very smart. He's very educated. Even among, like, you know, Russian generals and oligarchs, he's considered kind of, you know, cream of the crop on education. He's very smart. Xi Jinping is not. Xi Jinping has like a middle school education. He was like a dropout. So you're dealing with a very smart individual needing to basically bow down because of, you know, global politics and sanctions to a guy who has a middle school education. He does not want to be in that position, I think. And so I do think the CCP very much understands what's going on. And I very much believe that Trump is looking at that situation, understanding that Russia, if given a way out, will probably take it.
Steve Bannon

I'll call you after the show. Mike Lindell. Love you, brother. See you tomorrow morning on War Room. Hardest working guy in showbiz. Mike Lindell. Charlie Kumar joins us. Very close to President Trump, very close to President Modi. Charlie, we're here to talk about tariffs. You've got a theory of the case. You've been a manufacturing guy in Illinois. I want to talk to him. But first, given your expertise and you were on the short list to be our ambassador to India, this whole negotiation President Trump's having with the Russians about some sort of rapprochement, obviously the Russians are trying to at least work right now. What we hear of setting up a diplomatic meeting with the United States and the Persians about the nuclear situation, but vis a vis China, if you have a strategic relationship with India and you have some sort of strategic relationship, let's say, with Russia, does that totally gut the Chinese Communist Party ability to control the Eurasian landmass, sir?
Charlie Kirk
Well, it goes long ways. I mean, that will be quite helpful. But CCP in China is just not going to sit idle and look at it. They're going to go to their agreement they have signed with Russia. And so we have to look at both China and Russia as a threat to us. If we can. If President Trump is successful in taking Russia away from China, that'll be great because our existential threat is China. I mean, that's In China, ccp, that is our existential threat. Last time we were talking about how, you know, Illinois, in El Grove county, we used to have 5,000 businesses employing close to 200,000 people in manufacturing. And in a period of six years, just six years, 1998 to 2004, that got all eaten up by China, very strategically got eaten up by China. Today, those 5,000 factories, these are small, medium sized businesses. They are no longer there. There's zero, zero in there. And you know, so that's one thing which I want to talk about and I want to talk about tariffs that. Yes, you know, as, as you were there with us.
Steve Bannon
Well, how do you, how do you, by the way, in the part of globalization that gutted that in those six years, how do you bring that back? Is this just wishful thinking or is it a possibility? Because the Wall street guys, Scott Besson goes up there, they're hammerous every day about these tariffs. They say all they're going to do is raise cost for the working class. How do you actually make this work to bring those jobs back? What do you have to do to bring those 5,000 factories back and the 200,000 manufactured high paying manufacturing jobs, Sir?
Charlie Kirk
Steve, very good question. And basically, and here I'm going to talk a little bit about Elon Musk and Apple and so forth. That's not where it's at. Maybe you'll get 100,000, 200,000 jobs back. The jobs that were lost, they have to come back to small to medium sized businesses. $5 million, $10 million, $20 million businesses employing from 50 to 100 people. Okay. It's not just the Teslas of the world. It's not the giant factories, it's not Apple. It's going to be the small businesses which create 80% of new jobs in the United States. And you yourself have heard these businesses want sustained tariffs against China. If we have 50% sustained tariffs, then these people, I'll go around the country, you know, I'm in the electronics business, electronic manufacturing, print circuit board factories, contract manufacturing factories, a lot of electronics, telecom factories. So these people need to have an assurance that there is going to be sustained tariffs. It's not like one day tariff. The next day President Trump has a nice dinner with Xi and the tariffs go away. Or like last time, Steven Mnuchin, you know, he was for no tariffs. So if there are no sustained tariffs, that it will not happen. But if there are sustained tariffs, then these small businesses, and this is like hundreds and hundreds of thousands of these businesses will invest a million to $2 million in new plant and equipment to be able to compete with China. So the mantra here, the basic fact here is we need to have sustained tariffs, reciprocal tariffs they're talking about. It's very confusing. You know, I'm in touch with our community, not just the Republican Hindu coalition businessmen, but business, small businesses in general. The reciprocal taxes confuses the heck out of us as to what really is going to happen. So for example, we don't ship anything, printed circuit boards or contract manufacturing to United States. I mean to China. We don't. So who is going to determine what the SIC code is, what the tariff is going to be? So what needs to happen is President has to come up with a number. He said that during his campaign that, you know, he said that the Odyssey functions sustain tariffs, put in 50% sustained tariffs so businesses could be assured that this is what's going to happen. And the last time I was talking about there is $400 billion of manufactured goods which we import from China today. 60% of that, 240 billion of that, that is 60% of that can come to United States if there is a 60%, 50% sustained tariffs.
Steve Bannon
Hold on, hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on here. $400 billion of finished manufacturing goods we import from China every year and you're saying the $260 billion of that could be manufactured here? If we had a program of sustained tariffs for the country, but specifically against the ccp, that if people and people, providers of capital and businessmen thought that there was a pathway over many years to do this, that they would then invest the money to bring that manufacturing back.
Charlie Kirk
Absolutely. Sustained tariffs. And you heard it yourself from the time when you were there in Carroll Stream from these businesses, if there's sustained tariffs, they'll go out and invest. We will go out and invest in machinery and plant and so forth. And you know, we at one time had 16 factories. Out of that, 12 were lost to China in those six year period. And we did not go to go to China. We chose just not to go to China and we kept our intellectual property, which China cannot steal. It's not that big of a deal for them to steal. I mean they can, but then they're not coming after us for that. So however, we could redo our ourselves. That's avg. Can put in 12 to 14 factories that will employ close to 10,000 people. If we knew that there is going to be sustained tariffs.
Steve Bannon
Charlie, we got to go. How can people find out more about this? Where do they go for Your social media website, all of it.
Charlie Kirk
Well, first of all, they could go to, you know, you have put in there Republican Hindu Coalition. They could just go to Republican Hindu Coalition, that website and to follow me, they could come to I am Shalab Kumar. At the rate of I am Shalab Kumar. That's my social media. That's Twitter of the past.
Steve Bannon
Charlie, thank you very much. Appreciate you.
Charlie Kirk
Thank you.
Steve Bannon
That's, that's the key that picks the lock. You know, we had John Gardner on the other day. It's just not these massive investments or Charlie's saying it's just not the 500 billion C from Apple or the, or the, or the Taiwan semiconductor manufacturing. The beating heart of this. If you actually had a terrorist program and this replicates what Charlie's saying is just replicate what the American plan was or the American system that was thought up by Alexander Hamilton and had these great supporters, guys like Abraham Lincoln, Henry Clay, all the way through McKinley, all the way through the early 20th century when we actually had tariffs. And yes, it is protectionism, but you're protecting a nascent small manufacturing business. Look what Shali said right there. $400 billion imported, $400 billion imported from China of finished manufactured goods. 260 beta that potentially could be made here. Think of the jobs that were created, the high value added manufacturing jobs. Don't listen to people. That said you can just build it off a service economy. The globalists have preached that gospel now for 30 or 40 years and it's left the country wrecked. It's one of the reasons when you cut it, when you look at this and you look at all the numbers we're going to talk about next week as we look up to the run up to the CR and all the financing, remember that middle path I told you so important that we got to get right. People talk about the growth rate. Is it 1.8%, is it 2, 2.5%? One of the things holding us back is we're essentially not the manufacturing superpower we used to be. And that can happen. It's not, you know, you said Paul Ryan and these guys used to run around with all this, you know, kind of theories about free trade and you know, globalization. It could all be part of us of a global supply chain. I said there's no, it's not like the second law of thermodynamics. There's, there's no property like in nature that makes this inevitable. It's about human action and human agency. We can bring those jobs back. You're going to have this massive fight over tariffs. And everything that's left is saying they're all talking about, oh, it's a tax on people, it's not a tax and it doesn't pass through the right stuff. Takes us out to end a work week. But we got our favorite show still ahead of us Saturday morning, 10:00am Eastern Standard Time, always sponsored by Birch Gold. One of the things I'm so proud of is what we've done on the end of the dollar empire to make sure you have access the particularly modern monetary theory. I'll get into that tomorrow because it leads into the CR as they start to craft a plan. Plan a plan that you sign off on that you're happy with. Remember, if you're not comfortable with this, I'm not so sure we push this over the top. President Trump wants it. He's working out with Chip Roy and others.
