In this episode of Beach Grass Roots, we talk with LiFEBoat Services. This local nonprofit’s mission is to support its key projects: Filling Empty Bellies’ Housing Navigation Services, Filling Empty Bellies’ Low-Barrier Year-Round Overnight Shelter, and Beacon Peer-Support Services. Their goal is to offer Clatsop County and surrounding areas new and innovative ways to address some the region’s most pressing and persistent issues. LiFEBoat Services is Astoria Co+op’s Change for Community recipient in July.
