This is Scott Becker with the Becker Business and the Becker Private Equity Podcast. Today's discussion is the triple aim at work. So so here's the deal in health. Can we talk about the triple aim cost, quality and access? And I can get into this forever about how those three things play together and how, at least in the US currently, we're moving in the wrong direction. All three. But that's a different story. The triple aim at work is different. What we say at work is as follows, is that, you know and this comes from one great commentator, and I'd watched his video years ago and it just resonated with me. And he basically said, you have to be great at least two of these three things at work. You have to show up every day and to everything on time. Second, you have to be nice to everybody and be likable. And third, you got to be pretty good at what you do. And his basic comment was, you got to be good at two of the three of these things. And I love this concept. So here's what I'd say to add on to these concepts. And I agree with that. If you want to stay at a career for a long time, got to be good at what you do. You got to show up all the time and you got to be nice. The next concept we talk about is hyper responsiveness. Really important in building a business and building a career. This concept being hyper responsive. If you want to grow a serious career, you're likely going to have to be 247 for some significant period of time. You should ignore the boss that says don't respond on weekends, et cetera, et cetera. It's not really necessarily true. You ought to view it as if I'm going to build a great career, I better be responsive. I better be on largely 24 7. It's not for life, but it better be for some serious period of time in building a career. I I hope you enjoy this episode. We'll be back with you later this week with some more episodes.
