This is Scott Becker with the Becker Business Podcast and the Becker Private Equity Podcast. We cover AI startups, private equity and a lot more. Today's discussion is three keys to building a business. And this comes out of reading a number of ridiculous tweets on X about what it takes to build a business. And I just can't make sense of so many of them. So I thought I'd come back to the basics on some of the core thoughts we have on building businesses. The first concept is you build a great team of people, work with you can't do anything without a great team. And in some ways it starts with having a great, talented team. There's very little you could do alone. So this concept of a solopreneur, I don't really buy it, but build a great team. The second thing you do is you serve customers extremely well, so they're repeat customers and they keep on coming back to you. The third thing you do is you pick a niche that needs service where people actually need things. So when you look at this, we look at really three concepts. Build a great team, serve customers extremely well, and pick a niche where services are actually needed. Those are the three concepts. Well, the separate podcast on picking niches. But our two core concepts on niches are can you and your team win in the niche? And is it worth winning in? So those are two concepts related to niches and we'll talk more about that in another podcast. But the core to building a business builds great teams, serve customers extremely well, and pick good niches where people actually need your help. What people would call customer or product market fit. There's actually a need for what you're doing. Thank you for listening to the Becker Business Podcast, the Becker Private Equity Podcast. We'll be back with you later today. Thank you very, very much.
