These pieces of career advice largely come from Kai Kawasaki, the author of Wiser and a long term Apple leader, a brilliant engineer and thinker. So here's the six that come from Guy Kawasaki and I'll give you the two that come from Chris Kieram. There's some overlap in these two sort of list and thoughts. First is show up. Indispensable people show up and they do the work you want to be the person that always shows up for the job. Second, do the work that nobody else wants to do. Don't be afraid to do the grunt work, the shit work, whatever you call it, Guy, what Kawasaki refers to as a shit work. But do the work that other people don't want to do. Don't be above it. Third.
