This is Scott Becker with the Becker Business and the Becker Private Equity Podcast. Today's discussion is a special shout out to middle aged entrepreneurs. So, so the, the genesis for today's podcast really comes out of me seeing a post of people that we know well, Lou and Julie Rubin, who opened their latest coffee shop, this incredibly successful chain of coffee shops called Hometown Coffee and Juice, up north in the northern suburbs of Chicago. I've watched Lou since I used to see him working out some as a mortgage broker trying to figure out his next thing was always interested in restaurants and at some point when he could have retired, decided that he and his wife Julie, who have been just a stalwart team on this, decided to, instead of retiring, to double down on building coffee shops. And since they've done so, they've been incredibly successful. I mean, some would blame them for our local Starbucks closing down not too far from us due to essentially just all the business being taken by Hometown. But since then, Hometown was open in several other cities. They're opening, I think today in a suburb called Glenview, Illinois. And today's shout out goes to Lou and Julie Rubin on their remarkable job in building out this coffee shop chain. And how well managed it is, how well run it is really a remarkable thing. Thank you for listening to the Becker Business and the Becker Private Equity Podcast. I think today, by the way, we're ranked third in the nation in terms of businesses podcasts, so God bless our listeners. Thank you very much for listening.
