This is Scott Becker with the Becker Business and the Becker Private Equity Podcast. Today's discussion is the six largest companies by revenues in the United States. We follow this kind of stuff regularly to see who's up, who's winning, who's not. Here's where we're at. In terms of the six largest companies by revenue, Amazon is now surged past Walmart over the last year. It's up to 742 billion in revenues a year. That's a crazy year number. It makes the rest of us feel small in comparison. Walmart's number two at 713 billion. Apple's number three and keeps on keeping on. It's at 451 billion. Simply remarkable. Two of the next three are healthcare companies. United Healthcare Payers is number four at 450 billion a year. CVS Aetna's number six at 407 billion a year. Simply remarkable, the turnaround they've had this year. United's up 28% year to date. CVS about 30% year to date. And then next or number five is Alphabet Google at 422 billion a year. Alphabet and Apple are two of the best performing magnificent seven stocks year to date. They're each up about 13.5%. Fascinating to watch what's going on with those companies. And again, we did a separate podcast on the biggest market cap companies. We've already talked about that. And of the big market cap companies, again, Apple and Alphabet are number two and three. So both big in revenues and big in market cap. Fascinating to watch. Amazon again is the fifth largest by market cap and also by revenues. Number one. Thank you for listening to the Becker Business and the Becker Private Equity Podcast. Thrilled to see this week that our new book Building Great Businesses made the USA Today bestseller list. God bless America. Thank you so much for listening.
