This is Scott Becker with the Becker Business and the Becker Private Equity Podcast. Today's discussion is long talkers and sell blackout spots. So here's the deal. I was on a call not that long ago where it was an introductory call with some people and very nice people, but here's the take home point on the call. I went through a sell spot that was so bad for about five or six minutes and that's on me. And I always feel bad when that happens at a call, particularly an introductory call. But it is what it is. You have to make choices in life as to where you're going to be at any given time and moment. And it couldn't be in front of a home, you know, set up. So it is what it is. But the beauty of a long talker, and again, this may be killing somebody with faint praise, is that I went through a five, six minute period of time, four to six minutes, whatever it was, where my cell didn't work hardly at all. And when I got back into a cell coverage area, that person was still talking, I don't know if you want to say, at me or with me or whatever you want to call it, without nearly a pause to see if there was anything that I had to say. Now I shouldn't be one to say anything like literally get on podcast and talk with or at people like this without any pause or questioning the audience. But, but this is in a different situation than what's supposed to be a two way conversation. I, I, I, I just sort of reflect on the fact that I never want to be that person that just runs on and on, that even if the other person had gone through a bad sell period for five minutes or gone to the washroom for five minutes and didn't tell me they would come back on and I would still be talking. That was my experience today. Again, long talkers and sell blackout periods. Thank you for listening to the Becker business and the Becker Private Equity podcast. God bless America.
