This is Scott Becker with the Becker Business and the Becker Private Equity Podcast. Today's discussion is Microsoft Even the powerful complain. So here's what's happening with Microsoft. Microsoft is down 21% year to date. Over the last several years, it's largely been the number one, two or three market cap company. It's down a little bit further right now, maybe fourth or fifth. But the point being, it's been for a very long time, one of the most powerful, strongest companies in America, their CEO Satya Nadella, who generally I think has done a great job at Microsoft, is now sounding the concern about the growing power of AI companies. I find this to be ironic given how strong Microsoft has been for so long. To now be complaining about the power of some other companies and how powerful they are and is somewhat laughable as Microsoft really held a huge competitive advantage for the last 30 years in this sort of business software space. And I think many that have competed with Microsoft would say they were very harsh or dealt with. Microsoft say they're very harsh, very tough competitors. So I find this concept of them now complaining about how strong the AI companies are to be ironic at best. But again, Microsoft down 21% year to date. Even the most powerful companies complain. Thank you for listening to the Becker Business. The Becker Private Equity podcast. You got to love it. Thank you so much for listening.
