This is Scott Becker with the Becker Business Podcast and the Becker Private Equity Podcast. Today's discussion we're going to talk about Nvidia and Oracle. So here's what's going on with these two companies today. First with Nvidia. Nvidia is of course up 33% year to date. But the big story today is Nvidia investing $100 billion in OpenAI. And there's a great story today in the Wall Street Journal about how Nvidia is using its balance sheet to power to help strengthen and backstop other tech. Some people see this as sort of circular. Nvidia helps them and then they have to buy from Nvidia and so forth and so on. So we'll find out over the long run whether it's really great investing and doing something great for America like Backstop and gone to these companies or whether it's really a giant Ponzi scheme. I don't know. I have no speculation. But fascinating to what Sam Altman is the CEO and co founder of OpenAI. A great story on this today. Jensen Huang of course is the founder and CEO of Nvidia. Nvidia also recently invested $5 million in in intel which will help to backstop Intel. Fascinating how Nvidia has taken on this role and let's hope it's not just all a giant Ponzi scheme that actually works out well for America and AI and technology. The second stock we mentioned today is Oracle. Great story here in bar chart is Oracle buy, sell or hold? They've just appointed two new co CEOs to replace to succeed Safra Katz. Safra of course did an incredible job of leading Nvidia for a long time with Larry Ellison. The two NCOs, Mike Cecilia and Clay Majoric I'm not that familiar with but we'll watch how that goes with Oracle. Oracle's up nearly 84% year to date. Nvidia is up 33% year to date. We hope you learned something in listening. Thank you for listening to the Becker Business Podcast, the Becker Private Equity Podcast. Thank you very very much.
