Nvidia continues to be the dominant bellwether stock to watch. It continues to thrive. Jensen Huang is sort of the epitome of an incredible immigrant success story and worth reading a lot more about. Nvidia is up 27%. Again, it's the primary bellwether of AI stocks. Second, a few of the AI stocks that we follow closely Soundtown, Palantir and Tempest and here's some of their results. Soundtown is down 35% year to date. Peel and Terror Technologies up 105% year to date and Tempest AI up 125% year to date. Tempest leading that Soundhound, downed some. Finally. Third, the private equity stocks that we watch. Blackstown down 3% year to date. KKR down 8.84% year to date. Apollo down 19.7% year to date. The private equity stocks continue to struggle. They lag well behind the S&P 500. A recent stat that I came across showed that there's a backload of nearly 30,000 PE exits. That's an astounding number of investments that have been held by PE events PE firms a lot longer than than they anticipated. So that remains a disaster. Thank you for listening to the Becker Business and the Becker Private Equity Podcast. Let's hope the tide turns on private equity and let's hope it keeps on going on AI and more.
