This is Scott Becker with the Becker Business Podcast and the Becker Private Equity Podcast. We follow technology, investing startups and a lot more. Today's discussion is Open Door Technologies and Khosla Ventures. So we'll tie these two together because Khosla is the biggest investor in Open Door Technologies. Open Door Technologies is a digital real estate company. It's sort of the next generation of the Zillows and some of the other things where it still makes most of its money through transaction fees, but it also has a feature where it'll buy your home, give you an offer within 24 hours, and then try and resell it. But it's, it's not profitable, but it's growing quickly. They just named a new CEO, Cass Najetian, who I'm not that familiar with. He was just named the CEO in September. But. But it is worth noting Opendoor technologies is up 343 year to date. It's up another 10% today. It's well funded by Coastal Ventures and Coastal Ventures, for those that aren't familiar, was founded by Vinod Khosla. He's one of the most famous investors in Silicon Valley. He was formerly with Kleiner Perkins. It's got about 15 billion in assets under management. It's an investor in Square, AI, Instacart, Impossible Foods, Affirm, and a lot of, a lot of others. Just a really successful investor. Somebody asked me, you know, if I'm watching Open Door Technologies, so I've tried to learn a little bit about it. We're also learning a little bit about another company in the same sector called Better Homes. And we'll keep on watching that, I think. Fascinating. And we'll go from there. Thank you for listening to the Becker Business Podcast, the Becker Private Equity Podcast. Again, Open Door Technologies and Coastal Ventures. Constantly watching this tech sector, never dull. Thank you for listening.
