This is Scott Becker with the Becker Business and the Becker Private Equity Podcast. Today's discussion really comes out of a specific event. I had the chance to attend a funeral today for a friend's mother, this particular woman, Myrna Siegel. There are certain people in life that you come across that are extremely disciplined, extremely smart, extremely strong. A person who is a force of nature. Myrna Siegel was one of those people. Just listening to the eulogies today from Michael, Eric, Hannah, and hearing the thoughts about the sort of tradition, the ability to stick through things even as though she was suffering through leukemia after she lost her husband, the sort of long life that she led in the way that she handled was actually a beautiful, uplifting, inspiring service, if you could call it that. When you go to a funeral and you remember somebody who was such a strong force of nature, was such a special person. I got to know her when I was in college. But more interesting was my friends that had grown up with my friend Eric through their entire childhood, and so many of them were there and recalled her as just this incredibly important and vital and strong person who was a force of nature in the virtues that she shared, the life that she shared with both the family and the expended and the extended friend group and family group. Just a remarkable, remarkable person. And it inspires all of us to try and be more like that. It's an absolutely beautiful thing to see. Thank you for listening to the Becker Business, the Becker Private Equity Podcast. I know it's not a podcast about business, but hopefully it's a podcast that will inspire all of us to. To be more like that. Thank you for listening to the podcast today.
