This is Scott Becker with the Becker business and the Becker Private Equity Podcast. Today's discussion, it's, it's a shout out to two leaders who keep thriving. It's a shout out to Justin Ishbia and Mark Cuban. So here's the deal with these two and in some ways, to me they're so inspirational. Justin, Mark Ishbia, Justin Ishbia, Mark Cuban and I'll get a chance to interview Mark Cuban at the Becker Self Care annual meeting this April. He has made several fortunes and keeps on striving, keeps on trying to stay active, keeps on growing. He has spent a huge amount of time now devoting himself to essentially the, the, the Cost plus RX business and trying to help build that company, but also bring down drug costs in America. And I just give these guys so much credit where they've made billions and they're still active and engaged and trying to do the next thing. Not easy because everybody knows when you do the next thing, it's not, not a certainty that you have the success that you had on the last thing. So I give Mark Cuban tremendous credit, credit for that, that get up and go. Justin Ishbia to me fits in a similar category. He's the founder of a set of private equity funds called Short Capital. They were also, he had a, a business that his family was in, I believe a loan or insurance business that did incredibly well. But Justin, you know, a few years ago made the billionaires list. Now he's worth 10 billion or so. He's built some big house and all those kinds of things. More than that, as opposed to sort of just going off into the sun and golfing and playing tennis, he is out there. One, he's building new funds at Shore Capital. They just closed a new fund. To me, that kind of constant drive and that engagement is incredible. Justin's also the kind of person that if you message Justin Ishbia, you get a response back right away, which to me leads me to believe he's one of these people that is still totally tuned in and after it. So my shout out is to people like Justin, people like Mark Cuban that have this incredible energy, even after tremendous success, that they're not lost, they're after it, they're making it happen. I just love that. I wish I had that kind of energy that the two of them have and that kind of success, but I can't be inspired by it and amazed by it.
