This is Scott Becker with the Becker Business and the Becker Private Equity Podcast. Today's discussion is about Bitcoin, a perilous journey. So here's the deal with bitcoin. Bitcoin again is to about 93,000 today. It was up not that long ago to about 115,000. It's down 12% over the last month. It's down about the same amount over the last six months and lately has been taking on the chin in terms of social media and otherwise. Now, watching Bitcoin drop 12% in some ways makes me happy because I am what you would call, for lack of a better term, a bitcoin loser. And again, that sounds so harsh, I know, but I invested in bitcoin a couple years ago, maybe three years ago, put 100,000 into quickly went down dramatically to about 25 or 30,000 at that point. Of course I didn't heed the age old advice to just keep things in the market for the long run. And I lost about 70,000 on it. Took a tax loss, so God bless that. Then of course, once I did that, I saw bitcoin skyrocket, which made me feel awfully foolish and awfully dumb. So as I watch go after I sold it from 30,000, about 120,000, I do have to tell you, and I know this is childish, it's immature, it's a bad attitude. I have taken some pleasure in seeing it drop 12 to 13% this last month. Alas, of course it's up again today after I thought it was going to be down. But it is what it is. Again, that's the, the, the, the, the bitcoin loser story. That's my story. I'm sticking to it. Thank you for listening to the Becker Private Equity the Becker Business podcast.
